“Shit, you need to hurry up; we got company.” Some guy she didn't know yelled.

Michael came running down the stairs with a gun in his hand and threw it at Razor.

“Five minutes, Faith, then you’re out of here.” He handed something to Razor. “Another address of another safe house. I don’t want to take a chance with her. Here’s some cash, don’t use credit. A burn phone, call if
there’s
trouble only.” He turned back to Faith. “Three minutes now.”

Shit, she needed to finish. Typing faster than she ever had, she attached the documents and hit send. But it seemed to be stalling.

Damn it. She waited and waited until Razor grabbed her.

“Time’s up, kitten.” Shit, she sent a silent prayer that it
sent,
and she ran following Razor to his bike. That was when she heard the first loud bang and a whizzing noise fly by her. “Fuck, let’s go.”

He didn’t wait until she got comfortable to start his bike. As soon as she grabbed him, he gunned
it. More
gunfire went off, and her heart skipped with nervousness and worry. What if Michael got hurt? So many things went through her mind that she almost forgot she was winding through the silent streets in the middle of the night.

More gunfire and bikes seemed to follow. She could hear Razor yelling for her to hold tighter as two bikes followed. The sound of guns once again going off. A whizzing sound was too close for her comfort. They were chasing her. Shit, she didn’t know what to do. Razor
gunned the bike,
and they took a sudden turn and then several others. Soon they could see other bikes, ones she actually knew. The Hellhounds were now chasing the other bikes.

Instantly, she remembered who these guys were. Michael had talked about a rival MC. The Tomb Riders were nasty and didn’t care what they did. Sure, the Hellhounds did some- okay, a lot- of illegal things, but they didn’t set out to hurt anyone. The Tomb Riders acted as if they were guns for hire and now they were after her. Not able to concentrate on what was going on, she held on tight and prayed that Razor knew where he was going. After what felt like hours, no one followed them.

Razor kept going and a sudden weariness started to get to her. She wanted to take a long, hot bath and just wash away everything that had just happened. She had thought that the incident at John’s apartment was bad, but this was a whole lot worse.

They followed another road until they came to some type of housing development. It wasn’t the nicest area, but it was better than her apartment, that’s for sure. Razor slowed and rounded a house at the end of a cul-de-sac. He hit a small button and the garage door opened. He rode his bike into it before hitting the button again, closing the door behind them.

“It’s okay to get off now, kitten.” He chuckled as she just stayed in place. She really needed to get off, and possibly throw up, or pee. Yeah, she needed to pee too. As she climbed off, she noticed he wasn’t moving too much. “You okay?”

“Yeah, fine. Let’s get inside.” But when he stood, she noticed he winced a little. Looking down, she saw blood on his leg. He had been shot.

“What the hell, Razor, you’re hurt? Shit, we need a doctor.”

“No, it’s
fine; just a graze. If it was worse, I wouldn’t be able to walk. Let’s get inside.” He grabbed her hand and unlocked the door dragging her into the kitchen. The townhome was small and smelled a little musty. Michael said she needed to move, but now that she thought about it, they weren’t prepared for her to move again. Something had to have happened. Either way, she needed a first aid kit.

“Go sit on the chair.” She pointed to a large recliner in the small living room they had entered. She went running down the hall until she found a bathroom. Looking in the medicine cabinet, she found nothing, but under the sink, she did found what she needed. Thank God. She ran back to
Razor, who had already taken his boots off.

“Take your pants off.” With the wound being in the upper thigh, she couldn’t simply roll it up.

“Really, kitten? Thought maybe we could have a drink or something before we played, but okay.”

“No, you
idiot, I want to look at your leg.” She waited until he sighed and then stood and tugged his jeans down. He was right, the bullet had just scraped along the skin, but it still needed to be cleaned. It didn’t help that his cock was right next to her face and was starting to get hard. She looked up at him, raising an eyebrow.

“Gunfights
turn me on, and the fact that you’re right next to him with your sexy mouth that feels so damn good… I may have to partake in that again.” He gave her a crooked smile as his eyes shined with lust.
Oh, that damn look
; it made her instantly wet. They’d had sex for the first time less than twenty-four
hours ago,
and already he knew how to play her body.
Evil bastard.

*****

Razor couldn’t believe how damn horny he was all of a sudden.
Okay,
maybe he could. Faith was right there next to his junk and the sweet memories of her sucking him off last night floated across his mind. Damn, her mouth could get her
into
trouble, or out, depending on how he played it. However, right now she was cleaning his wound. She used alcohol, which burned like hell, to clean it before putting some weird cream on it and taping it up.

“That should work for now. I can see if I can find some painkillers for
you
or Tylenol at least.” He grabbed his jeans and slid them back up. He knew something that would work better than drugs. He spotted a cabinet that housed the booze. Sure, he drank some- okay, a lot- but he knew that it would work better than pills. Not that he was against them, but he didn’t know how long they were here. He grabbed a cup he found in one of the other sections and poured what smelled like tequila. Downing it all
within
one gulp, he allowed the warm burn to fill him. He filled it again, and looked around.

The place was nice, something he would like to have at some point.

Faith returned with a bottle of Tylenol and the concerned look on her face was endearing.

“You should be sitting down.”

“Yeah, well I needed something to take the edge off.
Plus I want to clean up some and find a place to crash after we eat.”

“Oh,
you’re hungry? I can see what we have to eat while you go rest. I can bring it to you.”

“That would work. I
wanna check the layout anyway.”

“You need to sit or lay down.”

“Not happening, kitten. Need to make sure I have everything covered. You cook; I’ll find everything else. Tag team it.” He turned and left, not letting her say anything.

He needed to take a breath, away from her. She was doing something to him; turning him soft. Sure, she was amazing in bed, and she was the first chick who actually fought back with him. She didn’t just smile and do what he said.

Things seemed to be happening so fast, and that scared him more. A week. He had known her a
week,
and he was already starting to feel something for her other than lust. She intrigued him.

Looking around the rest of the house, he found two bedrooms
but didn’t like the layout of the second room. It was on the opposite end from the main bedroom. Not an issue. She would sleep with him. It had felt so good to sleep in a bed instead of on his damn lumpy couch.

Looking in the main bedroom, he spotted some spare clothes. Mostly sweats, but they were better than his jeans right now. Going to the bathroom, he cleaned up some before changing and heading down the stairs. The smell of food filled his nose. Damn, he was hungry, and it was early.

“Pancakes?” When was the last time he ate pancakes?

“Yeah, sorry, there’s not much to work with, but I found some sausage links in the freezer. It’s something to eat, and then maybe we can sleep.” She continued to flip the food in the pan while he went to look for something to drink. Nothing but alcohol and water. What he wouldn’t give right now for some coffee. But he wanted to sleep later, so he grabbed two
waters,
and sat down at the small table that was already set for the two of them. Faith came
over with the rest of the pancakes and sausage before setting a new bottle of syrup on the table.

“It’s not homemade; it
’s the just add water kind of stuff, but it’s food.” She lowered her head as she took a seat opposite him.

“Looks great, kitten.” He grabbed some pancakes and dumped syrup on them before taking a giant bite. From scratch or not, the pancakes tasted great to him. He was used to take out, or simple shit he could heat up. But this was, what was the word Johnny would use, oh yeah, nice. It was nice to sit and enjoy some food with someone.

“So how long are we holed up here?”

“Not sure. Could be a few hours, could be a few days, a week even.” She scrunched her nose at the thought. Seemed she wasn’t too happy about being stuck here, or was
it him?

“Something wrong with that?”

“Oh no, it’s just that, you see…”

“See what? Having issues about me already.” Damn, he was starting to sound like a chick.

“No, oh God, no. It’s just that well… There really isn’t anything here for us. Not much food, and only a bottle of soap. Not sure how we’ll be okay for a few days. Sure, showering is important and such, but we only have so much we can use that is prepackaged. And some things require milk, and we don’t have that.” Oh, he saw her logic now.

“Don’t worry, kitten, I will make sure to keep you clean.” He winked at her and a sweet red blush crept over her face.

“Eat,” he commanded before he too went back to his meal.

Chapter Sixteen

Razor watched as Faith washed the dishes she’d used before looking around the place. He wasn’t very comfortable in the house
either but was making the most of it.

“Tired?” He didn’t need to really ask her, he could tell just by looking at her, it was as if she was wound so tight she would snap at some point. Maybe he should get her drunk again. She was playful and frisky drunk. Sure, he would love to bury himself into her tight little pussy, but didn't really want to take advantage of her like that. Would she come to him willingly without it? Then he remembered she was sore from the ride earlier.

“Yeah, kinda
. I just feel, well nervous, scared, lost, and slightly happy.”

“That’s a shit load of crap to feel all at once.”

“Yeah, well, when you know that thousands of people count on a single email I have to send to save their lives, it’s kinda
a big deal. I just feel- shit, I don’t know anymore.”

“Gotcha
.” He honestly didn’t know what to say. She was curling inside herself. Maybe he was getting too attached and needed to find a way to break from her, but he was drawn to her.

“Hey, is it okay if I go take a bath? I saw one when I got the first aid kit. I won’t be too long, and I promise to call if I need you.” She was pleading with him, but he really didn’t care. He wanted to let the liquor take the pain away and lay the fuck down. He didn’t like the crazy stupid shit he was dealing with. He preferred to just ink people,
fuck
a local bar bunny and go home. No one to hold him down, rely on him or anything.

“Sure.” Did he really need to say more? She offered him a small smile before turning and heading down the hall.

Razor took the time to sit and relax. He wasn’t sure about sleeping arrangements, but
either way,
she was staying in a room with him. Walking into the back bedroom that housed the master bed, he hunted down some sheets. The bed was
unmade
and figured she would be happier knowing he did something. Oh, and the fact there was nothing to do. No TV, and only a few books. He really wished he was back at his place, at least then he would be able to watch the news.

Looking around the closet, he found some blankets and sheets in a ziplock
bag thing he saw all the time on TV. Opening them up, they still smelled clean. Walking to the bed, he quickly made it before looking for pillows, which he found in the same closet; he then sat down and relaxed.

The sound of the bath had stopped a while ago,
so he knew she was relaxing. He never understood the point of a bath. Water was to get clean, but to sit in it would drive him nuts. That didn’t mean he couldn’t imagine what she looked like wet from head to toe. Her sexy figure covered in bubbles as her perky tits could barely be seen and her ripe nipples peeked through. Damn, now he had a fucking erection. He would usually either fuck until it was down, or jack off, and right now with clean sheets, that wasn’t a good idea. Resigned to his fate, he laid on the bed and closed his eyes letting sleep take him.

The sound of the door creaking caught his attention; jolting upright, he pointed the gun he had rested on the nightstand next to him. An “Eck” made him focus on a shocked looking
Faith. She was dressed in an oversized shirt similar to the one he was currently wearing. Seemed the house had only one style- convenient.

“Fuck, kitten, I could have shot your ass. I thought you would be out by now.”

“I was, but then I had to get some clothes. I didn’t mean to wake you.” She was shaking again. Shit, he’d actually scared her. Setting the gun down, he rubbed his hands over his face.

“It’s okay, let’s get some sleep.” He slid back down into the bed, pulling the covers over him.
