Hey,
So you just finished
Psycho Inside Me
, right?
Well, first of all, thank you. Thank you for reading it and spending your time with me as Cassie and Deegan traveled this journey.
Sexual assault and molestation is a serious problem. Many people don’t report it. In fact, it’s more common than we think. Of REPORTED cases 1 in 20 men have been molested or assaulted in their lives and 1 in 5 women. That means that the reality is more like 1 in 10 for males and 1 in 3 for women. That’s sick. Sad. Sick.
I’m one that didn’t report it.
When I was little it happened to me and then when I was a teenager – again it happened to me. And I can tell you that if I’d had even the possibility of having a knife in my hands, the people that did it wouldn’t have made it out alive. They’d be missing parts. Seriously.
Vigilante work fascinates me. You might see more of it from me in the future.
If you know someone or are one yourself who has been a victim of rape or molestation, don’t be a victim any longer! Report it. Call someone. If you don’t trust the police or teachers or another authority figure, tell someone! Anyone. Even if you’re just emailing it. I promise – it’s not shameful. I always thought it was – I still struggle with it. But it wasn’t my fault.
I refuse to be a victim. Let’s rock the hell out of this and refuse to let anyone else be a victim, too.
I love you! You’re loved. Someone thinks highly of you and you are strong.
Until the next book stop by social media outlets and say hi! I’m always looking for more friends.
Hugs and revs,
Bonnie
