CHEUNG CHUNG TAT COVER DESIGNS

I first came across Cheung’s work on Facebook, as a Godzilla image he created made the rounds. I was so impressed by his work that I found him on DeviantArt, marveling at the numerous works of Godzilla and dinosaurs. Inspired by his work, I reached out around the world, to Hong Kong, pretending there was no language barrier, and asked if he would like to redesign the covers for
Project Nemesis
and
Project Maigo
, and design the cover for
Project 731
. To my delight, he accepted. And while you might have seen the covers, you haven’t seen the sketches that came first, and as a fan of line art, I find them equally amazing. The following sketches are all for
Project Maigo
. And for more of Cheung’s art, visit:

FAN ART GALLERY

Soon after the release of
Project Nemesis
, I started receiving fan art inspired by the book. After the release of
Project Maigo
, which included the first fan art gallery in any of my books, I wasn’t sure if the trend would continue, but over the past year I’ve been continually surprised by the amount of Nemesis art being produced, and by the quality. And that’s saying a lot, because Nemesis is really hard to draw! I’m an artist in addition to being a writer, and I haven’t even attempted drawing Nemesis yet. So kudos to all of you who are brave enough to draw, paint, sculpt and 3D render Nemesis. You guys inspire me every time you send art my way, and I thank you for that.

If you would like your fan art to be featured in any future Nemesis books, send it to
[email protected]
at a 300dpi image quality. The only real rule is that the images have to feature Nemesis (or any of the characters and new Kaiju from
Project Maigo
and
Project 731
) and cannot feature any trademarked or copyrighted Kaiju, such as Godzilla, Gamera, etc... Thank you very much to all the amazing artists who submitted their work for publication in
Project 731
, and I look forward to seeing more!
