The cups fell open, freeing her breasts to his sight, his mouth, and his hands. With her shirt still covering her eyes, she couldn’t anticipate what he would do next. The mystery heightened the sensations traveling through her. She trembled, her nipples pulsing madly in expectation, her clit throbbing as juices leaked from her center to coat her inner thighs.
A startled gasp left her when his mouth closed over one breast, his tongue licking her nipple between his teeth for a bite that teetered on the thin line of pleasure and pain. She writhed against the window, whimpering as he released her nipple, licked a path between her breasts to her other one, and gave that nipple the same sanity-claiming treatment.
“Please.” She moaned as he all too quickly released that breast, too, his tongue returning to the valley between her breasts before traveling down.
He let go of her blouse as he painted a trail down her abdomen and belly with the tip of his tongue, leaving a blazing fire of need in its wake. Absently, she hurried to get the blouse the remainder of the way over her head, then tossed it to the floor. It didn’t help her to see any better with her vision blurred by the sexual intoxication he’d created in her head. Her eyes heavy-lidded, she gazed down, seeing only the top of his head as his tongue reached the barrier of her skirt.
He made a sound of sheer frustration, jerked his head back, and made quick work of unfastening her skirt before shucking it and her panties down her hips. She lifted one foot from the pool of material her skirt and panties made around her feet, kicking the garment aside with her other foot. His fingers closed around her outer thighs, his breath hot against her pussy when he spoke.
“Spread your legs for me. I can smell you.” He threw his head back. His eyes closed as he took a deep, audible breath before returning his face to her pussy. “I have to see if you taste as delicious as you smell.”
Chrystal’s legs wobbled as she opened them for him, one hand finding purchase on the top of his head as the other latched onto his broad shoulder for stability. If not for the window behind her, she would have fallen backward at the first probe of his tongue between her sodden folds.
“Oh, Gods.” She moaned the words as he pushed his tongue over her engorged clit, flicked it, circled it, then delved further between her feminine lips.
“You taste like sweet nectar, hot and plentiful.” The heat of his breath only added to the inferno building in her channel. “You’re creaming enough I could make a meal out of you right now.”
Chrystal dug her nails into his shoulder, fisting her other hand in the hair on top of his head as he dipped further and thrust his tongue into her cunt. Her head fell back on her shoulders, smacking the window at her back, and her eyes closed as his tongue plunged into an instant rhythm that was brisk, reckless, and soul-consuming.
Pressure accumulated in her channel, escalated to the point of madness, and rendered her powerless to stop it. He fucked her with his tongue, licking the sensitive walls of her channel, thrusting and twisting inside her until the weight of the impending orgasm became too much to bear.
“Andrew.” The air sparked around them as she cried out his name. The release tore through her, spilled out of her, and treated him to a river of cream he greedily lapped up until he’d gotten the last drop.
Her hold on him went slack as her body jerked, then settled into a persistent quiver. She felt him straighten in front of her, lifted her head, and saw him shucking down his jeans and briefs and tossing them aside. She parted her lips, to say what she didn’t know, but managed only an undignified squeak when his arm circled around her waist and he yanked her against him.
Wildness filled his expression, the gold of his eyes still that same thin ring around the hazel, both darkened and flaming with lust and more emotions she didn’t dare attempt to define. “More.” The growl that accompanied that single declaration sent equal parts fear and excitement racing down her spine. “I need more. Now.”
He didn’t give her a chance to respond. His hands dropped to the backs of her thighs and he lifted her off her feet as if she weighed little more than a feather. He guided her legs around his waist and locked her ankles behind his hips as he impaled her with his cock in a fluid motion that sent her straight to heaven.
The noise that rumbled from his throat sounded of more animal than man as he buried his cock inside her pussy to the hilt. His fingers dug into the tender flesh of her ass as he adjusted his hold on her, gaining a firmer grip before he lifted her only to drop her onto his cock once more.
Chrystal cried out, discovering holding onto her sanity was no longer an option. She held onto him instead, locking her hands around his neck as he repeated the move, fucking her with a reckless abandon that had the air thickening around them. Power sucked the oxygen from the room and she struggled to breathe. She felt crazy, overrun by a force she didn’t understand but couldn’t find the willpower to wish it to stop.
“More.” She echoed his earlier declaration, not truly knowing if she could handle more, but feeling the need overwhelming her to take it. “Please, Andrew. Fuck me.”
He slammed her against the window and she could’ve sworn she heard the glass splinter. He didn’t give her a nanosecond to dwell on it. Using the window for leverage, he pistoned his hips, driving his cock into her channel in vicious thrusts that brought her straight to the edge of orgasmic bliss once again. It was pain. It was pleasure. It was beyond madness. It promised a release more powerful and soul-consuming than the one he’d just given her. He had a handle on the beast within him, but the man had definitely lost control.
Chrystal loved it! The pressure inside her core grew claws, raking at the supersensitive walls of her channel as it demanded escape.
Andrew buried his face in the side of her neck as he continued to pound the solid length of his cock inside her. “Come for me.” He accented the command with a violent thrust of his cock that hit right on her G-spot, and she couldn’t have disobeyed him if she’d wanted to. “I want to feel your pussy drown my cock in your juices. Come for me, all over me. Now.”
Chrystal screamed as the dam broke inside her, the orgasm ripping its way out of her. For the second time that night, she felt as though she left her body, but this time she saw nothing except shimmering energies and explosions of color.
Somewhere in the cacophony of sensations claiming her mind and body, she heard him growl and felt the heat of his seed fill her as he reached his own release. He stumbled, his hold on her weakening for an instant, before he stabilized himself and held her firmly in place once more.
On the verge of passing out, delirium already taking hold, Chrystal let her head fall forward to rest on his shoulder. “I think we need a bed.”
His shoulder trembled, both from his ragged breaths and the quiet chuckle he made. “As soon as I’m sure I can move without dropping you, I’ll carry you there.”
Chrystal moaned and rolled her head to lay her cheek on his shoulder. “That’s fine. I’m perfectly content staying right here for a while.”
“We still have a few minutes before the SD arrives. We could’ve stayed in the club a while longer. You know, so you could tear up the dance floor for a song or ten?”
Michael opened the office door and stepped inside, not sparing Gideon a glance. Any reaction out of him would only give his brother more encouragement, something Gideon rarely needed.
“That was quite a show you put on last night.”
No, encouraging Gideon in this matter was definitely not necessary. His brother was going to get his kicks at Michael’s expense and Michael could do little more than take it.
Michael headed for the wet bar in the corner of the office, poured himself a wine glass of synthetic blood from a bottle kept in the warmer, and carried it to his desk.
“Man, I didn’t know a vampire could blush, but you sure as shit did last night.”
Michael settled in the chair behind his desk, sipped from the wine glass, and only then did he spare his brother a glance. Gideon had taken up perch on the edge of the desk, one thigh swung over the corner, and a shit-eating grin spread across his lips.
“I assure you it was the lighting on the dance floor,” Michael said, purposely keeping all inflection out of his tone. “I have not had the ability to blush in more than a century, brother.”
“I was under the impression that wasn’t the only ability you had lost.” Gideon refused to let up. “You proved last night you still know how to dance.”
“Just because I chose not to dance to that stuff you call music does not mean I cannot do it when I must.”
Gideon lifted a brow, his midnight-blue eyes twinkling with boyish amusement. “And last night was a must?” He shook his head and pursed his lips. “I don’t know, Mikey. It sure didn’t look to me like that gorgeous blonde had to twist your arm very hard. Of course, I did look away for a half second or so. Maybe I managed to miss seeing you kicking and screaming your way to that dance floor.”
Michael leaned back in his chair and regarded his brother with a steady gaze. “That gorgeous blonde, or the woman she was before, never had to do more than make a request to get me to do anything. You know that as well as I.”
Gideon’s expression softened despite the trace of skepticism Michael saw swirling in his eyes. “You honestly believe that woman was Rebecca.”
“I honestly
know
Chrystal Vaughn, who is, by the way, the blonde you are speaking of,
is
Rebecca Tucker.”
Gideon sighed and raked a hand through his disheveled hair. “Yeah, I know it was,
is
, too. I didn’t have that instant slap in the face like you did. I wasn’t in love with her before. But I saw the energy on that dance floor. I don’t think you realized it, but the power that was expelled off the three of you mesmerized the crowd for a time.”
No, Michael hadn’t realized. He’d been too mesmerized himself by the woman in his arms.
“So, what happens now?”
Michael sipped his blood as he considered his brother’s question, the same question that had been ping-ponging in his mind since last night. “I do not know.”
“She doesn’t realize it, does she? That she’s the reincarnated soul of a woman you and Andrew shared at the outbreak of the Civil War?”
Michael shook his head. “I believe she sensed something last night, but does not have the knowledge to understand what it was.”
Gideon angled his head. “You do intend to give her that knowledge soon, I hope.”
“If I am given the chance. When she is ready, yes, Andrew and I will explain everything.”
“Yeah, about Andrew, are we supposed to believe he’s reincarnated, too, only he got to come back in the same body with added super-power benefits?”
Michael felt his lips twitch at that. “I did not get the full story from him last night on how he survived or why he has apparently been hiding all these years.”
Gideon waggled his brows suggestively. “Then what exactly were the two of you doing in that bathroom for so long last night if you weren’t talking about the past?”
Michael rolled his eyes. “I was struggling not to put him through the wall of the men’s room, while he was attempting to apologize and give an explanation. I accepted the apology for now, as well as listened to his explanation of how he came to have our Rebecca—” He shook his head and started again. “Our Chrystal in his presence.”
Gideon pushed off the desk, moved to the chair facing Michael, and sat. He slouched back, folding his hands over his gut as he gnawed the inside of his cheek. “Care to fill me in on that?”
“The how is not as important as the reason he has brought her to Atlanta.”
Gideon drew his brows together. “I would think that would be pretty damn obvious. He brought her to you, right? The three of you belong together, not just him and her or, hell, not just even you and her or you and him.”
Michael nodded once. “That is true. However, his haste and reason for, shall we say catching me off guard last night rather than giving me warning, has little to do that. It seems when Andrew was spared death by changing, he was taken in by a pack of rogue shifters who persuaded him to vow his loyalty in exchange for being taught how to handle the beast inside him.”
Gideon’s face hardened, his eyes filling with anger, his lip thinning in a grim line. “Nikolas McLeod.” He guessed correctly.
“Andrew has been granted the freedom to live as he chose the last several decades,” Michael continued. “I believe you have heard of the Company Savior?”
Gideon barked a laugh. “That’s Andrew?”
“It seems it is. Andrew is not a fighter. He never has been. His transformation to lycan did not change that.”
“He’s never been a fighter, but he’s never been weak, either. He maintained that strength even through the change, learned how to channel it to control the beast, and that’s made him stronger.”
“It has made him a mark in Nikolas’s pack.”
Gideon sat up straighter. “They’re after him?”
“A member of the pack has been taken, a were-lion. Nikolas is assembling an army to go after him. He’s calling upon every shifter who has sworn his or her allegiance to the pack, but Andrew has refused to join them.”
“Nikolas McLeod isn’t planning a rescue mission. He’s going for a massacre.”
Michael sighed. “I fear so.”
Nikolas McLeod was a were-tiger, a solitary shifter made before the Civil War who started out forming a pack with other solitary shifters. His cause had been a noble one and had given many shifters a family they hadn’t otherwise had. The righteousness of his deeds had morphed and darkened over the decades until he thought himself the king of all those beneath him, the commander who could summon his people and order them to do his bidding or be killed for their disloyalty.
Michael glanced at the clock on the far wall and noted the time. “Our visitor will be arriving in a moment. Before he does, you should know that I also fear Nikolas is either at the heart of what the Secretary of Defense wishes to hire the agency for, or that we will be facing battle with Nikolas’s pack as well as the enemies we are hired to neutralize before it is over.”
