Colton’s hands wrapped around his thighs and held him tightly while his tongue kept sliding in and almost out…then deeper in. It was un-fucking-believable. Fireworks went off in his head and then traveled straight down to his cock and he would have achieved one hell of an earth-shattering orgasm if Colton’s hand hadn’t suddenly reached around and grabbed his balls, holding them in a tight grip at the base that prevented him from shooting his load.

Colton’s tongue slid out only long enough for him to growl, “Don’t you dare come until I’m finished tasting every delicious inch of you and I haven’t even fucking started yet.”

“What the hell are you doing?” He gasped and sputtered, still unable to believe Colton’s tongue was shoved up his ass…and the guy was making the sexiest sounds alive as he slurped, licked, suckled, and did all sorts of other wicked things with his mouth. In. His. Ass.

“Eating you out, babe,” Colton answered. “I’ve fantasized about this for years, so shut up and let me enjoy myself!”

A long wail tore up Jagger’s throat and slid out his mouth. “Fuck!” At least that came out as a roar instead of a whimper. Instinctively, his hips pumped, helping Colton’s tongue any way possible. The pressure built inside him and again he was overwhelmed with the need to explode. Colton continued. His tongue darted inside, stroking the dark recesses of his ass in the most delightfully dirty way. Nothing had ever felt this good. He couldn’t have imagined anything feeling this delicious.

“I’m going to let you cum for me in a second, babe,” Colton murmured and then his tongue dove straight back in.

“Wh-wh-when,” Jagger sputtered…because it was the best he could do.

“You’ll know when,” Colton answered and Jagger could have sworn he felt him smile against his puckered hole.

The tongue continued darting and twisting and Jagger’s head literally dug so deep into the mattress he feared it might leave an indention that would never go away. From his position, forehead smashed into the bed and ass straight up in the air, he could see his cock, a deep purple shade and begging for release, hanging between his own legs. His balls were raised and tight against him. What felt like slow motion, but he was sure it wasn’t, he saw Colton’s hand lazily
reach between his legs and lovingly fist Jagger’s cock, stroking it once and then twice…before pushing the tip of his finger into the slit on the crown.

That did it.

He exploded with a shout that had to have shaken the house off its foundation. He couldn’t breathe. He couldn’t think. He could only
feel
.

Chapter 14

Jagger supposed that as far as walk of shames went, his was pretty simple but embarrassingly intense. He walked down the long hallway, Colton flat out on his heels, humming like he was the fucking king of the jungle (and Jagger guessed he was), and then, before he had time to even wish he could vanish into thin air, he was in the dining area where he and Rory had talked all things Colton last night…and where a group of men, some he knew and some he didn’t, stood around eating breakfast, drinking coffee, laughing—acting like this was just another normal day. He felt a burning blush start at the tips of his ears and start working its way down the rest of his body. Yeah, as if his screams of pleasure hadn’t been enough to let the whole fucking world know Colton had just given him the best climax of his life, the blush tossed out any doubts anyone might have had.

When his eyes fell on Riley, he wanted to turn and run away from the dangerous look in his friends’ eyes. To sum it up, Riley looked mad enough to rip Colton to shreds. Oh fuck, this wasn’t going to go well and every damned bit of it was his fault. “Hey, Riley,” he mumbled. “I’m sorry, man. I shouldn’t have called you last night. I was damned well past drunk.” He felt Colton move up against his back and then muscled arms slipped around his waist. It was a possessive stance…and fucking hot. The way Colton’s huge hand rested not-so-innocently against his lower stomach made dirty thoughts start to tumble around in his head.

Riley took a step, then another…then another. He didn’t stop until he was mere inches away from Jagger’s face. With every step Riley had taken, Colton had pulled him even tighter against his hard body, marking him as his own in front of a man he clearly thought might still be a rival.

“You okay, Jag?” Riley asked softly. His big brown eyes studied Jagger’s every move as he waited for a response. To make matters worse, Jagger could feel Colton’s long length twitch against his ass. How the fuck was he supposed to concentrate when he had
that
to contend with?

“I’m good. I seriously shouldn’t have bothered you. I’m sorry,” he apologized again. Every eye in the room was watching the exchange. For a person that loved to hide in plain sight, the attention was killing Jagger. He was accustomed to being able to blend in and not even be
noticed but that wasn’t going to be the case in this crowd. “I cannot believe you came looking for me. I shouldn’t have bothered you last night. I was drunk and stupid.”

“Of course I came, Jag. We’re friends and it sure the fuck sounded like you needed a friend last night.” His eyes cut around to glare at Colton for a few seconds before he returned his attention back to Jagger. “He messing with your head?” He asked with a jerk of his head in Colton’s direction.

From the other side of the room, Rory snorted at the comment but Riley shushed him with a glare. Obviously he didn’t think it was time for jokes or sexual innuendos.

“Nah, I’m good.” Jagger seriously wanted to disappear, tumble down a rabbit hole, get abducted and never be seen again…anything to get him out of this mess he’d created.

“I’ll say,” Rory cut in with one of his famous smiles. “I think he was good about three times if my ears didn’t fail me.” He turned to Tobias. “Three times, right?” When he turned back to Jagger, his smile had gotten even bigger, stretching his handsome face in a cartoonish way. It was cute. Jagger might have gotten pissed or even more embarrassed, but the look in his pretty eyes made it impossible to be angry at the meddling bastard. It was pretty damned easy to see Rory wanted him and Colton to be happy together.

“Shut it, Rory,” Colton warned. “No teasing until you know he’s comfortable with it.” Turning his attention to Riley, he said, “What the fuck are you doing here?” There it was—the jealousy he warned Jagger about. “I thought we had this mess worked out last night? Am I going to have to see your ugly face every time Jagger and I have a spat?”

“Cleaning up your mess, Colton,” Riley answered without the slightest hesitation. “And, hell yeah, you’ll see me every damned time you act like an ass and hurt my friend.” He eyed Colton up and down. “Since you’re a total ass, I’d say you’d best get used to having me around.”

“Uh oh,” Rory whispered. “Sexy boy bites, too.” He looked at Colton. “These wildcats sure know how to use their teeth and claws, don’t they? It is fucking hot, sexy boy,” he said to Riley. “You can use either of those on me anytime you want,
cher
.”

Riley ignored Rory’s teasing, his gaze and attention solely on Jagger and Colton. “Come out on the porch and talk to me for a few minutes, Jag.” He reached for Jagger’s forearm, but Colton jerked him away from the grasp…which led to Jagger jerking out of Colton’s arms.

“Colton,” he warned when his new lover tried to reach for him as soon as he freed himself.

“Jagger,” Colton mocked but his hands dropped innocently to his sides. When Jagger continued to glare at him, he finally said, “Go outside and let your bodyguard know you’re alright.” He motioned toward the door. “Go ahead; shoo!”

“Asshole.” Colton’s answer was to smack his ass, damned hard, as he walked away. It felt fucking good.

Outside on the porch, Jagger took a deep breath and tried to prepare himself for Riley’s questions. Would he make fun of him? Call him out on really being gay? Was he mad because he’d called him last night, begging for help, and then pretty much forgot all about him? Would Riley be upset that he’d walked into yet another battle with Colton this morning? He had to be getting tired of that shit. Fuck, he had to be getting tired of all things Jagger.

“Riley, I’m sorry…”

Riley held up his hand, cutting him off before he could even get started with his apology. His self-appointed bodyguard took another step closer and put both hands on either side of Jagger’s face. He held him tightly and looked deep into his eyes…deep enough that Jagger felt the urge to try and squirm away. Accustomed to being a closed book, he didn’t like feeling so exposed.

“Are you okay, Jag? Look at me and tell me you’re okay,” Riley said quietly, his gaze never wavering or giving Jagger a chance to escape. “This is your business and I, contrary to what Colton thinks or how it may look right now, don’t mean to be all in your shit, but I’ve got to know you’re okay…that you’re not regretting any of this.” His big hands tightened their grasp on Jagger’s face. “You scared the shit out of me last night. You sounded hurt. Your pain was eating straight through the phone and I couldn’t get to you.” He took a deep, steadying breath and continued, “You’re here because of me, Jag. I cocked-up that free throw and you are here paying the price for my…mistake.” A blush suddenly stained his face and he quickly added, “I’m sure Colton told you what I said about the free throw, right?”

Jagger stared back at Riley, shocked by the fear dancing around in his worried eyes. Is this what a friend was? Is this how they acted? He’d never bothered to really have one and he wasn’t sure he would even be able to recognize the
relationship
when faced with it.

It was troubling just how warm and happy it made him feel when he considered the thought that Riley really cared about him. The ugly truth was he’d never done a fucking thing to earn the friendship, but he wanted it. He wanted it damned badly.

“None of this is your fault, Riley. Yeah, Colton told me what you said about missing the shot on purpose. I also know I could have turned Colton down and nobody would have said a thing about it.” He paused, took a deep breath, and prepared to voice the truth. “I’d be lying if I told you I regretted coming here with Colton. Fuck, I’d be lying if I told you I hadn’t been almost as excited as I was terrified. You were right, Riley, the moment you said Colton’s name, you knocked me flat on my ass and I never really recovered. He’s always been there…lurking in the back of my mind and mocking my life of lies.” Taking another deep breath, he said, “I don’t have a clue where this will go with Colton…if it will go anywhere, but I want to…to…try.”

A smile spread across Riley’s face and his eyes warmed instantly. “That’s all I needed to know, Jag. That’s all I needed to know.” He pulled him a tight hug and then released him quickly because he felt Jagger’s entire body tense. “I’m still not entirely sure I like Colton, but I’ll stand by you with whatever decision you make. I’ve got your back,” he promised.

“Why?” The word slipped out of Jagger’s mouth before he could stop it. None of this made sense to him—how Colton acted like he felt about him or how Riley wanted to be his friend.

Riley frowned. “What do you mean? Why, what?”

“Why do you have my back? Why are you here, checking up on me and making sure I’m safe? Why…why do you even care? I know I was a damned good point guard and you respected that but let’s be honest, that’s all I ever was…all I ever tried to be.” He shook his head, disgusted with how he’d spent his last four years. “I never tried to be your friend. Why are you trying so hard to be mine?”

Riley studied him. His eyes were a mixture of sadness, pity, and confusion and Jagger hated that he was the reason those emotions were swirling there. “Do you want to be my friend, Jag?”

Could he admit it out loud? To Riley? To himself? For so long, it’d just been him…and it had been so fucking lonely.

“Yes. I don’t understand why you want to be mine, but I’m thankful you do. I don’t have many…
any
friends and I’m pretty sure I won’t be any good at it, but I still want to try.” He knew he sounded pathetic but the words were nothing but honest so he went with it.

“I bet you do just fine,” Riley answered with a huge smile. “Now, friend, let’s talk about you hooking me up with Colton’s friend, Rory. Dude is totally hot, right? Is he with that Tobias guy or are they just roomies?”

Jagger’s eyes widened.

“What?” Riley asked. “This is what friends do. You can be my wingman with Rory and I’ll keep a close eye on Colton and kick his ass if he starts any shit or hurts you in any way. Deal?”

“Deal…but I’m not sure how much help I’m going to be with Rory.” He smirked at Riley and added, “I’m not accustomed to the mating habits of you gay guys so I might not read the signals properly. I’m a newbie.” He eyed Riley up and down. “You’re a
twink
, right? Rory explained what a
twink was and I’m pretty sure you fit the bill.”

Riley growled. “I’ll kick your
twinkish
ass if you say that again. I am most certainly
not
a twink
. Don’t get me wrong,
twinks
are good and they definitely are sexier than hell; I just don’t fit the bill.” He wanted to smack Jagger’s ass for fun, but he was pretty sure the dude didn’t like to be touched. “Just put in a good word for me, okay?”

“Good word - got it. I can do that for you.”

“Let’s get back inside before Colton falls off the balcony and blacks his other eye.” He motioned to the upstairs balcony where Colton was leaning over, eavesdropping on their conversation and not looking the least bit ashamed for it. He gave them a wave and smile before disappearing back into the house.
