‘I believe it's the Dutch word for club.'
‘Have you ever tried to play? It doesn't look too hard.'
‘They make it look easy, those guys. Yes, I gave it a go once. Milka took me out one time, but I'm too erratic. I can hit the ball hard when I T-off, but there's no direction. Maybe when I'm older.' She sank into silence, engrossed in the game. She watched someone who, having landed in the rough, struck the ball aggressively to dominate the grass and produced a superb chip shot onto the green. He finished within perfect distance of the cup to make a birdie. She cried out in admiration.
Ten couldn't figure out what was wrong, but it was obvious idle conversation between them was not on at the moment. Time passed then Sid checked her watch. She jumped up saying: ‘Let's get started, we've still got a bit to get done.' Her actions took on the look as of one possessed; somewhat frantic and driven by who knew what task master.
Ten looked up at her, her ebony eyes soft, full of tenderness and love. ‘Of course, whenever you're ready.' The tug Sid felt at her was impossible to ignore. Standing so close she could have brushed Ten's shoulder with her thigh. She said her name with painful awareness: ‘Ten … would you … would you … like a drink?' Her voice began to wobble perilously so she moved away, busying herself with clearing up the remains of lunch. Ten sighed as she got up to move over to the bed and begin sorting her clothes and knick-knacks.
‘I'm okay for now, love.' She wasn't okay. Something was wrong, but she didn't know what and this was upsetting. All she could do was try to be her normal self and wait for Sid to come around. She felt she was moving through an arid waste of desolation, with no directions as to the way out.
‘I'll have one,' Sid called out. She felt she needed something; was acutely aware of what that was, but wouldn't give in. Not 'til she was sure everything was right for Ten. Her heart felt to be thudding in her head. She looked down at her hands bunched together on the counter. Slowly she shook her head. “
Cool down Sid, cool down. We've got a job to do here,”
she admonished, uncapping a soft drink and joining Ten in the bedroom.
It took them another hour before they were satisfied with the location of everything. Anything they couldn't decide on, Sid took to the spare room. It was amazing how much they had between them. Progress had been a little slow too, since Sid had to be the legs for both of them and sometimes Ten would change her mind. This hadn't bothered her though; she was better when she was active.
‘Sid.'
‘Mm..m,' a muffled voice from the closet.
‘How about that drink now?'
‘Sure thing. What do you fancy?' she asked, thinking:
“I fancy you. Right now I could rip off that little wrap around of yours and lick you 'til you beg for mercy.”
She was shocked by the intensity of the feeling and struggled to regain control of these wayward desires. “
Nearly lost it.”
‘Do we have lime juice, can you remember?' she called.
‘Yeah. Beer and lime is it?'
‘Thanks, Honey.'
‘Why don't you stretch out and relax? I'll get us both drinks and be right back.'
Ten was glad to take her up on her suggestion having been bent over for so long. When Sid returned she had her sandal off and her hair freed from the restraining scarf she'd worn for working. Now the silky tresses tumbled loosely over the pillows where she rested her head, taking in the tall cedar tree, outlined darkly against a pure blue summer sky. Such a change for Toronto, a clear bright day. The clouds had shifted allowing the prismatic light in the room to shed a faint, crimson radiance across her face. The afternoon sun was hot, but here the air was cool. A peaceful silence had settled over the neighborhood and the usual sounds of endless lawn mowing had finally ceased. An occasional fly buzzed at the windowsill; as yet there were no drapes.
A lump came to Sid's throat, seeing her lying there. Suddenly she felt herself swamped by such an intensity of emotion for this distracting woman. Desire spiralled through her, plunging into her heart. Ten was everything she had ever hoped for or dreamed of and there she lay. She had always been moved by her darkness; her otherness. Only the thin cotton of her blouse and skirt separated them, as she rested lazily, as yet unaware of her lover's passion; this fierce longing which could no longer be denied. She turned her head at Sid's approach and smiled welcomingly, an intimate quality to the classic curve of her mouth that touched something inside, deep and elemental.
As she moved nearer, her heart started its crazy leaps. Ten held her gaze, causing an up-welling of passion so strong, it threatened to engulf her, leaving her body trembling and her legs weak. She let her eyes travel along the length of the beautiful body, the long slim legs, firm and shapely, fine hairs glistening blonde in the noon's sun. She had crossed her legs, so the cast was almost hidden. Her breasts, so round and inviting, lay slightly flattened against her rib cage, just a hint as to the existence of nipples, which she knew she could arouse with a look. Finally Sid swivelled back to Ten's face and their eyes met; a magnetic exchange that sent a warm flush sweeping across Ten's breasts. A rippling tingle of sensuality invaded her at the thought of Sid's approaching proximity, her young, warm body pressed next to hers. Suddenly a slippery wetness came hot between her legs. She looked back at Sid, the turbulence of her emotions openly reflected in the black eyes, yet she spoke in a normal tone, one of natural concern.
‘What is it, darling? You're so still.'
She had automatically reached out her hand for the glass, but Sid stood, rooted to the spot.
‘Sorry Babe.' She came to herself with great effort. ‘Yes, here's your drink.' As she handed it over, her eyes caressed her body. Ten felt naked before that look. Naked and alive.
She placed her own glass on the night table as she sank her weight onto the bed. They had covered the sheets with Ten's midnight blue, damask throw which brought out the bronze tones of Sid's skin, still only lightly tanned. She removed her joggers and tucked her feet up under her as she turned round and took a long draught from her drink, trying to recover her composure. She tried a smile. They drank in silence, each acutely aware of the other's presence. Ten raised her eyes and sought those of her love, receiving a queer, bright look that seared her to the core. She waited, feeling she had exposed her breast to a shining blade. She wanted to speak, but found her throat painfully constricted.
Sid was startled by strange physical sensations. Her head was spinning, while she was surrounded by bright, bright light. All the feelings she had battled during these past weeks, which she had thought conquered, surged upwards in a wild fountain of desire, mingled with the longing and trepidation of her frustration. This was not like her. She always sought to give satisfaction, not receive. Her cerulean eyes returned the stare, but blankly. Her vision had blurred, by a need she hadn't known ran so deep, but coming to, she saw the smoldering desire in Ten's eyes and was held, mesmerized. She replaced her glass without moving her gaze from that desire. The eyes before her blazed and she knew, with hammering heart and reeling head, what the answer to her unspoken question would be. Leaning forward, she reached out and pulled her up against her, her hands trembling on her shoulders. Ten held herself still, but pliable as tremors of intoxicating excitement raced through her, everywhere Sid's fingers touched. Slowly, she lowered her mouth, slow enough they both knew Ten had time to move away if she chose. She didn't. Sid's lips brushed hers once then lifted. At this point the pounding of Ten's heart was so loud, she wondered Sid couldn't hear it. For a moment they gazed into each other's eyes; bodies aching, passion mounting.
Sid's husky whispers skimmed over Ten's face and down her neck as she tilted her head back and her mouth lowered again. An involuntary sigh escaped Ten's lips. It was all the answer she needed. Effortlessly she parted Ten's lips with hers and lightly ran her tongue over. Her gushing saliva flowed into her mouth causing Ten to swallow this delicious nectar as a sweet warmth rose from the hollow of her throat. Sid inhaled the heady aroma from her skin, heated by the pounding of her pulse. It filled her senses as no perfume ever had.
She moved her body to one side, lowering Ten to the pillows, but she lost her balance and they collapsed in a heap. The unexpected weight of Sid's body on top of hers sent spirals of ecstasy through her gut; the touch, the scent, and the taste of this girl drugged her. She twined her fingers into her thick hair, tugging slightly as she looked into her eyes, aflame with passion. Now her kisses fell on Sid's neck and trailed across her face, leaving her skin scorched by blazing desire. Her lips tantalized, her tongue teased and tormented as it slipped into her mouth and pulled back, inviting her to taste and explore. Sid gave in to the temptation and followed her lead. She discovered the dark tastes and textures that were hers. Fire consumed them as a white heat rose. Sid caught her in her arms, holding her tightly against her. Ten felt the trembling longing in her embrace and knew she would satisfy her soft need with her hard desire.
Pulling away slightly, Sid let her hand rest at the base of her neck, the swell of her breasts just beginning their rise. She could feel the tremor of her flesh beneath her hand, knowing how intense the anticipation. Ten's blood drummed in her ears, she had been waiting too long for this touch.
Sid's breath was on her skin as she bent over her, her lips leaving hot brands across those trembling mounds. Heart racing, she strained closer, tilting her head back as she invited her to discover her secrets. Sid's hand brushed across her breast … she gasped … her body so alive. The dark circles surrounding her nipples engorged as her desire, so long denied, gathered itself into those erect buds. All her senses leaped to meet that touch. She could feel her breasts straining against the thin muslin of her blouse, longing for more. Sid sensed the time had come and released her hold and sat up. Ten looked imploringly, dark eyes wide and glittering; face flushed. She cupped her face in her hands, softly murmuring her name: ‘Tenille my dearest; my sweetest heart's desire.'
She brushed her mouth with her lips then protested: ‘Too many clothes.' With shaking hands she began to fumble clumsily at the buttons. Ten offered no help, but continued to lie against the pillows, feasting her eyes on every inch of Sid's face, as the strong hands betrayed their owner's tumultuous state. At last her breasts were released and open to her uninhibited gaze. Her breath caught in her throat as shafts of the afternoon sunlight played over them and accentuated the flushed darkness surrounding nipples, grown huge with demand. Their erectness made her stomach knot with need and the trembling flesh sped her to the brink.
“Not yet”
she thought: “
We've only just begun.”
Their eyes met for an instant then as Sid lowered hers, she followed the path of her gaze.
‘So perfect.' Sid proclaimed huskily. Ten saw the desire in her eyes and her own need grew enormous, making her bold. With her hand she guided her head towards her breast; with the other, she held it up to Sid's eager mouth. As she approached, soft breaths skittered over her skin heating her blood, making her shudder with pleasure.
Her mouth was so hot on her flesh. The gentle sucking pierced straight to her hard tumescence as she experienced the rise of that forgotten sweetness in the pit of her belly. She began to quiver against the hammering of Sid's heart. The pulsating throbbing between her legs grew quickly in intensity and before she could anticipate it, her clit had exploded in orgasm; her body, giving itself up to this glorious, heady release, as wave upon wave overtook her and she clung to Sid. Deep in her throat, a sound started as a sigh then ended as a moan, as her shoulders shook with sobs.
The unexpected climax brought Sid to a frenzy. She pulled her shorts and underwear off in one and pushed up Ten's skirt. She lifted her hips and removed the panties. She climbed on top as Ten opened her legs to receive her and let her nestle her demanding clit between soft, wet lips. Ten's could barely stand the pressure, but then Sid lay still.
‘I want to hold this moment. I could wish it would last forever,' she whispered thickly. Those loving words made her heart pound and her mind cloud. She could feel the pulse in Sid's neck hammering against her mouth as she rained gentle kisses all around. Their bodies this close at last; their naked flesh joined as one. Sid lost all sense of time and place, there was only this woman; this moment. She was consumed by sensations beyond thought, beyond reason. Gradually she began to move, easy undulations of her pelvis against Ten's. Soft moans arose from the back of her throat, like cries from the heart, sobs wrenched from her body after weeks of denial. The delicious sweetness was mounting until she was sobbing with the exquisite, unbearable torment of it. Through the onslaught of sensation consuming her, she became aware that both Ten's hands had cupped her ass and were moving to her rhythm. The grip was hot and exciting. She eased her movements to enjoy the pleasure.
‘Give me your mouth,' Ten commanded in a rusty voice. She raised her head from the crook of Ten's neck where it had fallen and surrendered herself to the kiss. Quickly Ten's lips captured her mouth, nibbling, savoring the softness until she could stand it no longer. With a groan Sid parted her lips and then Ten's tongue was within her mouth, flicking, thrusting, until her own pelvic thrusts took over, becoming harder, more demanding, at speed. These weeks of frustration had stoked her desire to a frenzied pitch. At last she pulled her head away to rise to the final thrusts, which brought her the crest of that first wave of perfect pleasure, then left her drowning in a sensation of love and completeness. She clung to Ten, heart pounding sufficient to break its bonds.
