“Yes!” Fari shouted, her back arching and her head flung back.
Pleasure washed over him in warm lapping waves, and he gave his own muffled shout. His strokes slowed, but he didn’t want to give up the sensations bombarding him.
When her arms collapsed and she tumbled to the bed, he followed her down. He wrapped his arms around her and turned them both to their sides.
Spooned together, he caressed her belly and breasts, enjoying the way she snuggled deeper against him as though she too wanted to keep their bodies connected.
Caleb kissed her cheek. “I’m crazy about you, Fari.”
“Feeling’s mutual, cowboy.” Her head turned, and they shared a slow, sexy kiss.
Eventually, his cock slipped from inside her.
Fari turned in his arms. “Are you ready for this?”
“For us, you mean?”
Her expression was watchful, a little guarded.
He gave her mouth a soft kiss. “I won’t ever let you go, sweetheart. Be warned.”
Her smile was radiant. “Remember you said that.”
He gave a little growl. “What did you do?”
“Wasn’t me. But General Ashton thought we worked well together.”
“Dammit, Fari.”
“Ma’am,” she quipped.
Caleb had the aching suspicion he wasn’t going to like what the two women had hatched up between them. But if it kept Fari close, where he could keep an eye on her for the next few months, then so be it. Besides, he’d already seen how well she could take care of herself. He rolled, pinning her to the bed. His cock twitched between them, filling quickly. “We still have a month.”
“Plan on keeping me in bed the whole time?”
“If I’m lucky.”
Fari traced a finger over his bottom lip. “Cowboy, you won’t hear me complaining.” She wrinkled her nose. “Guess I shouldn’t dare you.”
Caleb laughed. “Yeah, you might be an Amazon, but I’ve got the advantage now.” Her thighs parted and he flexed to nudge between her folds.
“Looks like
I’m
about to get lucky,” she said breathlessly.
As he sank inside her, he kissed her. They had time to plan a future, but for now, he knew his destiny lay wrapped inside her arms.
