KENDRA

“What!? Your sister? How can that be?” I said pacing the room. I could not wrap my head around what Jaysun had just told me. So much had happened since I started working at his billion-dollar tech company Plaerus and now it seemed to escalate to a dark secret that could put me in danger. It had been a whirlwind of emotional ups and downs, heated passions, life-threatening situations, and mysterious words. Now, it was only getting more complicated. I didn’t understand any of it. To top it off Jaysun had told me that he loved me. I knew that I loved him too, but I couldn’t acknowledge that. Being in love with this man puts so much at stake. I finally knew what I wanted out of life. I wanted to be a marine biologist studying whales and being involved in a relationship with a man that had so many secrets, so many lovers, and a jealous streak guaranteed that I wouldn’t be able to focus on making my career dreams come true. Now he dropped another bombshell on me. The woman who I first thought was his secret wife, was not his secret wife, but his secret sister. Her name was Janet Raydon, and Jaysun’s last name was Rubic, but on the passport I found it was Raydon.

“I don’t understand Jaysun. What is going on here?”

“I know, I’m sorry. It’s complicated. Janet Raydon is my sister, well my stepsister. You see Plaerus is really her company. She owns it, and she owns me, sort of. She is the tech genius, but when she was first starting the company no one would take her seriously, because she was a woman. She would hit dead end after dead end with investors. So finally she asked me to partner with her and be the face, so to speak of Plaerus, in name and appearance only because she knew the tech world is a boy’s club. She wanted me to use my father’s name of Rubic so that we didn’t look like a sibling team. She thought people would take the company more seriously if I said I had hired her as chief engineer and I ran the company, with my ideas and such. She was right. As soon as we had the first meeting, with me leading and Janet explaining the engineering portion, we had investors lining up. In no time, it was a million dollar company and a billion dollar company. Then we were forced to keep the charade up of having me be the face of Plaerus. So now, if anyone found out our lie, we would look untrustworthy to the world and to our investors. Companies are brought down over personal behavior of CEOs. It only takes one public incident for people to make a public outcry that could cost us billions. That’s where the blackmailing comes in. You’re not the first woman I’ve been with to find out the secret. There were two others over the years and both of them are kept quiet with a very generous allowance. That’s why I thought you were going to blackmail me as well. I’ve just become used to it. But that’s all of it Kendra. That’s the whole secret,” he said taking my hand in his and looking at me with relief on his face.

I stared at him with my mouth wide open. It was so much to process. I had just been told a billion dollar secret. It was information that people would kill, in the corporate espionage world. It was information that costs lots of money to keep quiet to those that knew.

“Holy shit Jaysun,” was all I could say.

“I know. It’s a lot to take in. It’s also a big responsibility to keep it quiet. That’s why I don’t tell anyone. It’s a burden that they should not have to bare. It even takes its toll on me.

“Then why did Janet say she was your wife that day?” I asked confused.

“Because she is a bitch for one, but really she does it to sabotage any relations I have because of what has happened in the past. Those girls were just lovers, not anything special, but they hung around enough to find out crucial information that we now have to pay to keep quiet. Still at any moment any one of those girls could sabotage us. So Janet finds joy in sabotaging any relations I might have in order to keep it from happening again.”

“I see. I guess, that makes sense on her part.”

“Yeah, she’s a little nuts. Always has been, but like any genius she is crazy but also brilliant. It really is her company though, I am sort of a partner but not a true fifty-fifty partner, and yet it has made me a billionaire. That’s how much money the company makes,” he said as the brilliant arrogant grin that I had grown used to come on his face. I was turned on as soon as I saw it. Damn him for having that effect on me.

“Now, so much makes sense. All the mystery that you’ve had about you since we met, and all the secrets you were keeping.” I said.

“Yeah, secrecy is necessary,” he said. Then we just sat there staring at each other until I finally spoke up.

“So now what?” I asked wanting him to have all the answers.

He pulled me into his arms and kissed me hard and fast. I melted into him and then finally pulled away laughing. “Not that! I think you know what I mean. Us,” I said.

“Hmmm…” he said sitting down and putting his finger on his chin like he was playfully thinking hard.

“Well, we should probably get you started on your dream. That’s if you would allow me to pay for it. Pick any University you want to go to and I’ll cover it all.”

“What! No, I can’t let you do that!”

“I want to do it. Please let me. It would actually mean a lot to me. I can spare it anyway.”

“Well, I did look at the University of Hawaii. I already filled out the paperwork. Even if I’m not accepted there are a few other institutes that I could study at in Hawaii. It really is the best place for marine biology and whale in particular.”

“Hawaii it is then! But that is farther from me than I would hope you to be. Good thing that I have a private jet that can get me there in a matter of hours. So I think we will be okay.”

“We?” I asked.

“Well, I would hope you would want to continue seeing me. See where this goes. I will pay for university either way. It’s the least I can do for almost killing you on my kayak,” he smiled.

I laughed, “That is true you jerk!”

“So Hawaii, then?”

“Yes, Hawaii.”

“Well if you have to go to boring school it might as well be in paradise.”

“That’s very true. I am very excited. For so long I was very unsure of what to do with my life. Now I know more than ever. It just feels right and I’m ready to get started as soon as I can.”

“Well I don’t like the idea of you leaving me soon, but no matter where you are in the world, we can try this. I am determined, and when I’m determined I get what I want,” he said looking at me up and down. I knew that look. His mouth covered mine and I could not protest any longer. I wanted him. I needed him. This gorgeous billionaire man had told me that he loved me and I believed him.

“Jaysun…”

“Yes, Kendra?” he said between kissing me.

“I don’t want to fuck.”

“No?”

“Will you make love to me?”

He stopped kissing me and pulled away just enough to look directly in my eyes for a long time. I started to panic. Had I fucked up? Was the main reason he liked me was because we were filthy together? Because we fucked without inhibition?

“I would love too,” he finally said arching his brows with a sweet smile.

I exhaled in relief. He grabbed my hand and kissed the tops of it. He kissed all the way up my arm slowly and sensually. I felt my whole body respond, like it was on fire. When he reached my shoulder he kissed up my neck and then he stopped. He grabbed my shirt and pulled it up over my head. His hand trailed from my neck down my chest to my bra. He unclasped the front clasp and groaned as my breast came loose. He slowly and carefully pulled the bra off my arms. Then he picked me up and sat me on his lap. He kissed my neck and massaged my breasts with his hands. His fingers pinched my nipples lightly teasing them until they were as erect as they could be. I moaned at the way he was touching me. He was caressing me, slowly and sensually taking delight in every single move he made. His hand moved from my breast down my belly, down my thigh and to my knee. His hand slipped under both of them as he scooped me up and held me close while he sat on the couch and I on his lap kissing and loving. Then he stood up and pulled me close to his chest as he walked to my bedroom with me in his arms. It was perfect. It was exactly the kind of experience I was hoping for from him. He placed me on the bed softly and then moved down to my feet placing soft kisses on top of them. Then with his soft full lips he moved up my legs. I grabbed the sheets in my fists twisting them as I felt like I was going to have an orgasm just from the slow movements that were sending sweet sensations up my body.

“I love kissing you everywhere. I could do this all day my sweet angel,” he said between kisses. I sighed in sweet resignation. It was a sigh that said I was giving him my heart. I knew it. I felt like he knew it too. Then, we were rudely interrupted.

Ring! The phone rang, but it wasn’t my phone. It was Jaysun’s mobile phone. He let it ring and continued kissing me. We were in the midst of passion. The phone stopped. Then a few seconds later, it was ringing again.

“Maybe you should get that,” I whispered to him.

“No.”

I laughed as he let it ring again and again. Finally he gave up and picked it up.

“Jaysun, this better be good.”

I watched him as he took the phone call. His face went from happy to annoyed, and then to pissed off. “I’ll be right there.”

His last words made me a little disappointed. We were in fact in the middle of something and I wasn’t finished yet. He looked at me apologetically and said, “That was the bitch herself, my sister. She wants me to come to her place immediately. She swears it’s a business emergency and can’t wait. Do you forgive me?” he said planting a kiss on me.

“Well, I’m not exactly finished here, if you know what I mean.”

“Mmm…fuck Kendra. When you talk like that. It’s so fucking hot. But how do you think I feel? I might be wrong on this but I think it’s physically worse for a guy,” he laughed.

“True, you might be right.”

“If this doesn’t take long I will try to come back, but I don’t really know what is up.”

“Okay,” I sighed. He gave me another long passionate kiss and then he was out the door. I was sorry to see him go. So much felt right for the first time since I met him. Now so much made sense. I made a vow to myself to not overreact when I didn’t know the full details of everything. There had been many misunderstandings on both our parts, that it could ruin us because we were both fiery and hot headed. We reacted without knowing everything. It was ridiculous.

JAYSUN

I felt so much relief for the first time in a long time, years really. I had never told a woman my secret before. I never could. I was never close to any of the women that I had been involved with. They were mostly just toys for me. The ones that had found out did not find out through me. Those women were sharks. Telling Kendra my secret about the company was something that I had wanted to tell her since Vancouver when I realized that I loved her, but I couldn’t even then. I was relieved that she had found my passport with my stepfather’s last name on it. I had taken that name after my mother married him when I was seventeen, but that was so long ago. I had always shuffled back and forth between the Raydon name and Rubic name. Some people knew that Janet was my stepsibling, but we never told people if we didn’t have too. However, no one knew that the company was really hers. That was the secret. Basically, I was a fraud. I didn’t like to call myself that, but it was true in some ways. I was not the tech genius. It was Janet. I did handle a good portion of the business and new a good amount of tech, but I was just the face of the company. I would be the laughing stock of the entire business world if anyone found that out. I hated leaving Kendra in the middle of our passionate moment, especially since it felt different. I knew it was different because everything was out in the open, and we had made future plans. She would go to Hawaii to study and I would spend months there at a time as much as I could. Shit, I should just buy us a beach house near the university and just come and go as much as I could while she lived there. I had the biggest shit grin on my face thinking of that thought. I was actually feeling romantically happy for the first time in my life. This small, pale, plain girl had done it for me. I would call my real estate broker as soon as this damn emergency meeting with Janet was over, and have him look for beach houses near the university. I would tell him to make sure it was elevated high with a deck and telescope so she could whale watch from home if she wanted. Damn it felt good to think about taking care of someone. I felt whole all of a sudden. Then, since things were going well. It all came crashing down the moment I walked into Janet’s penthouse.

“Put that on,” she said pointing a black and white tuxedo hanging on the wall.

“What? What the hell is going on here Janet?” I said annoyed at her mysterious way and ordering me about.

“You’re going to the Marston Gala tonight.”

“No, I’m not. What the hell has gotten into you?” I said as I walked over to the bar and poured me a stiff whiskey. I was going to need a drink to deal with her nonsense.

“Yes you are, and you’re going with me. Isn’t that right Janet?” another familiar voice said that ran chills up my spine. I turned to see Sophia Pepperidge standing in the hallway in a glittering yellow long dress. She was dressed for a night at a gala. She was a stunning model with fiery red hair, perfect skin, a gorgeous model, and happened to be one of the evil bitches I used to date that was now blackmailing me for money.
