Cast on 160 sts with 1 strand of Angora 70 and 1 strand of Magic. Knit 2 rows in garter. Proceed in pattern as follows:

Work in K5, P5 rib for 2". Decrease 1 st for size 38 and start double moss stitch pattern until piece measures 12” (12", 13”).
ARMHOLE SHAPING
Bind off 3 sts at beginning of next 2 rows.
Bind off 2 sts at beginning of next 2 rows.
K2tog at beginning and end of needle every other row 1 x (3x, 5x).
When armhole measures 8” (8", 8½”) put all sts on stitch holder.
FRONT
Proceed as for back until armhole measures 4".
Put center 10 sts on stitch holder.
Attach another ball of yarn, at neck edge and every other row.
Bind off 3 sts 1x.
Bind off 2 sts 2x.
K2tog 1x.
When armhole measures same as back put all sts on stitch holder.
FINISHING
Armhole and neck:
Single crochet 3 sts in a row, skip 1. Continue all around.
Follow with a row of reverse crochet.

Make two pieces alike for front and back.
Cast on 94 (106, 116) sts in navy.
K1, P1 rib for 4 rows.
Change to white and work in stockinette until piece measures 12” (13", 14”) or desired length. Do not cut yarn when changing colors; twist and carry the colors on the side of your work when changing colors.
Shape armholes. Bind off 5 sts at beginning of next 2 rows.
Bind off 2 sts at beginning of next 2 rows.
K2tog at each end of every other row 5x (8x, 9x). 70 (76, 78) sts remain.
When armhole measures 7¾” (7¾", 8¼”) change to navy, K1, P1 rib for
¾".
When armhole measures
8½”
(8½", 9”), put all remaining sts on stitch holder.
SLEEVES
Cast on in navy 40 (42, 44) sts.
K1, P1 rib for 4 rows.
Change to stockinette and white. Increase 1st at each end of needle every 7th (6th, 5th) row 10x (12x, 13x).
When sleeve measures 17½” (18½", 19½”) or desired length bind off 5 sts at beginning of next 2 rows.
Bind off 2 sts at beginning of next 2 rows.
K2tog at each end of needle every other row 9x (12x, 14x).
When cap measures 5½” (5½", 6”) bind off 2 sts at beginning of next 2 rows.
Bind off 3 sts at beginning of next 2 rows.
Bind off remaining 18 sts at once.
FINISHING
Weave loose ends.
Put shoulders together with a three–needle bind–off.
Leaving a 9” opening for neck.
HINT
Place safety pin in the middle of the back to mark beginning of armhole bind–off.

FINISHING
Join shoulder seams with a three–needle bind–off, leaving a 9” opening for neck. Sew seams. Tie with a bow on each shoulder if desired.
