Stupid, arrogant fucking prick!

Bringing my feet down from the table, I stride out of the assembly room up to the bar where Acid is looking at his reflection in the bar mirror along the back wall of the bar and pulling strange faces at himself. Furrowing my brows, I clear my throat grabbing his attention. He spins around baring his teeth and growling as if I startled him. He spots me and then smiles brightly like the fucking freak he is.

Who the fuck found this guy?
That’s right, Lookout, another fucking freak.

“Prez, bevvie?”

“Nah, son. I want you to ride with me, I have a job for you.”

His eyes light up, and he smiles wide. “For me?”

“That’s what I said, dip shit. You in or not?”

“Fucking yeah, do I get to kill someone?”

Chuckling, I shake my head. “No, not quite, but you get to do a little damage. Will that do?”

He nods with a sideways grin. “Yep, that’ll do fine. When do we mount the Hogs?”

“Now.”

He grins, grabbing the bar and hoisting himself up on top of it awkwardly as he tries to jump over the top, but it just looks like something out of a bad cop comedy.

Shaking my head as he falls over the bar bench and crumbles falling to the floor, I raise my eyebrow as he springs up off the floor and stands in front of me. “Right, let’s go, sir.”

Taking a deep breath, I wonder how anyone can be born with a full brain, but only have a quarter of it working.
Must be all the drugs.

“Righto, lead the way.” I swipe my hand out gesturing for him to go.

He saunters toward the black door while I roll my eyes behind his back. He pushes on the door using all his weight to open it, the door is heavy and he’s a lightweight, so watching him struggle brings me a little piece of joy. Smirking as he slides through the door, I stride out behind him and we march over to our Hogs. I grab a brick from the bottom of the fence and hand it to Acid. He furrows his brows and smirks at me.

“Right, so follow me. We’re going to head to Cupiditas, and when we get there, I want you to hurtle the brick through their window. Then we’re gonna need to high-tail it out of there quick smart, okay?”

He bounces from foot to foot and nods emphatically. “Fuck yeah, this is the shit I love.”

“Right, get on your Hog and follow me.”

He nods and races off with the brick in hand over to his Hog. He places the brick in his satchel bag and pulls on his lid, just as I throw my leg over my ride. Starting my engine, I pull back the throttle and hammer down. Rover opens the gate, and I ride out with Acid by my side. The wind licks my face and I smirk the whole time knowing this payback for Papi might only be small, but it’s still sweet.

We pull onto the esplanade in the mid-morning, which means there’s not a lot of traffic, which is perfect. I glance to my left to look at Acid and nod. He leans down into his satchel bag, pulling out the brick, and rests it neatly on his lap ready for when we ride past. It’s fast approaching, and I nod toward the building with the giant one-way windows. He nods as he brings the brick up, hurtling it right at the glass. I don’t look to witness, but the unmistakable shattering noise echoes through the street. I smirk and ride off, high-tailing it down the esplanade, laughing as we make our way back to the clubhouse, leaving the whorehouse in ruins.

The wind cools my face as it heats up from me laughing so hard.
Suck on that Papi!
The ride back to the clubhouse didn’t take too long as Acid and I rode hard and fast. Riding down the dirt road back to the clubhouse, Rover spots us and starts to open the gates, allowing us to ride straight through as soon as we arrive. Shogun greets me, wagging his tail maniacally as I stand off my Hog.

“Hey boy,” I whisper to him as he cuddles into my leg while I pet him. “Good Job, Acid, you hit your target perfectly.”

He chuckles and jumps around in a circle like a two-year-old might do when they’re excited. “That was so much fun, Prez. I fucking love this club!”

Chuckling and shaking my head, I slap his shoulder and start wandering back toward the clubhouse. Pulling the heavy door open, it creaks under its own weight, and I smile remembering how Acid struggles with it. We stride in, and I notice Blade behind the bar.

He glances at us and nods with a smile. “Hey Prez, beer?”

“Yeah, but first, I want your help with something. Can you bring your tablet thingy over, I want you to tap into something?”

He nods and bends down under the bar pulling out his device and leans over the bar. “What can I show you?”

“Can you tap into the security footage at Cupiditas, from about thirty minutes ago?”

He nods tapping a few things into his tablet. I huff as I wait. Patience is not a virtue of mine.

“Right, got it.”

He spins it and shows me the footage of the inside of the building. A red-head is standing with a stocky guy that’s built like a brick shithouse. But I can’t see him much, he’s hidden by the red-head. But they’re definitely fucking or want to be. Suddenly the brick is catapulted through the window narrowly missing the red-head as the brick shithouse grabs her and holds her tightly. Chuckling to myself, I nod and exhale.

“Perfect! Can you get me information on all the employees that work there? I have a feeling I’m going to be seeing a lot more of these
‘escorts,’
and I use that term loosely, from now on,” I exclaim as Blade fast forwards to another view of the boss lady talking on the phone. “Hey, stop it there, she looks pissed off. Can you see what she is saying?”

“Sure can. Let me just up the frequency. Aaand… got it.”

“A brick was just thrown through the front window of the business and the sound of a bike leaving directly afterward. Would you happen to know anything about that?” the boss lady asks and then huffs listening to the other end of the line.

“Yeah, everyone is fine… this time, but my window isn’t. Do you know how much one-way glass costs, Papi? Why the fuck would anyone want to do this to us, huh? What have you done?” she asks forcefully and exhales, as I look at Blade and smirk knowing she’s called Papi, and our idea of getting him in trouble has worked.

“Don’t lie to me, Papi. If you’re in trouble, tell me and I can try to help you.” She tilts her head and sighs listening to his answer.

“Okay. Well, hopefully, it was just a kid playing a prank or something, but if anything else happens, I’m going to want better answers, Papi. You got me?” she demands. I like her, she’s feisty and bossy. She’s actually giving me a semi-boner, and she’s really fucking hot too.

She pinches the bridge of her nose, exhales and closes her eyes leaning back into her desk chair. “How’s Star doing?” she asks, and I’ve seen enough.

“Okay, turn it off. At least, we know the damage has been done. The boss is pissed, Papi’s in trouble, and he knows it would’ve been us, and we’re not letting up. He
will
cave. I’m sure I’ll be receiving a phone call soon enough.”

“He needs to stop fighting it, and just come to the dark side, bad shit would stop happening if he did that,” Blade tells me and I nod matter-of-factly.

“Yeah, but Papi is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Might take a couple more times before he realizes that he needs to step it up. Or not. Maybe this will be enough, just have to wait and see.”

Suddenly, my phone starts to vibrate in my jean’s pocket. Smirking to myself, I pull it out and look at the caller ID. “Speak of the devil.” Swiping the screen, I crack my neck from side to side waiting for a tirade of abuse. “Papi, how goes it?”

“You win.”

My head jolts back slightly at the sound of the utter defeat in his voice. “I win?”

“Yes, you win. My girl is sick, my work is being vandalized, and I have no idea what’s next. So, I’m in. Just keep your brutality at bay and I’ll start selling. Don’t know how, and I’m going to probably lose my girlfriend because of it, but I’ll do it to keep her safe.”

Half smiling, I nod, even though he can’t see me. “You’re smarter than I gave you credit for, Papi. Moving the eccys won’t be hard. Once you start, you’ll find it will flow easily. Just watch who you sell to, and make sure it’s no one undercover.”

He exhales and does that quiet reflection thing he’s renowned for. “Papi?”

“I’m here. This is not what I had planned for my life, you know?”

Chuckling, I shake my head. “No, I gather not, but paths cross, people change, things happen for a reason, Papi. It’ll work out.”

He clears his throat as I hear someone call out his name softly in the background. “Look, I gotta go. I’ll inform you when I start making a move. Don’t call me, I’m going to be with my girl, and I want to try and keep this from her. So please, let me call you, okay? Can you, at least, do that?”

Smiling at his nerve, I nod my head. “Sure, but don’t leave it too long, or I will do more than just call you. You hearing me?”

“Yes, loud and clear.”

“Carlos?” The delicate cracking voice calls out again.

“I gotta go.”

The phone goes dead, and I take a deep breath remembering that his real name is Carlos. Carlos Rivera, the man whore from Adelaide. Bet he never thought he’d end up a mutt, working for me. Mad Dog fucking McNamara–President of the Virginia Satan’s Savages–the toughest MC Club in all of South Australia. Shaking my head, I smirk and make my way to the bar.

“Acid, call Boiler will you? Get me a bloody burger, extra bloody, and make it quick. I’m fucking hungry,” I demand. Acid nods curtly, picking up the red phone behind the bar to dial the kitchen out the back.

Chapter Three

It’s been a few days and thank fuck Papi has checked in and has started to distribute. I’m sitting in the assembly room a couple of hours after dinner with Chops, talking about the progress.

“I was starting to worry that I was going to have to send another message to Papi, but he’s stepped up and seems to be going okay now. So fingers crossed, we can find some more lackeys. I’ve set Penetrator on it. Hopefully, he’ll come up with something soon.”

“Yeah, Papi is… interesting. He’s a slow mover, and we need someone to bring in the income a fucking lot faster than Papi is.”

“Yeah, for sure.”

A firm rapping on the door grabs my attention, and I look across.

“Yeah?”

The door opens slightly, and Penetrator pops his head through. “Prez, I have some news.”

I nod my head for him to come in. He steps through the door and closes it behind him, the wood creaking with the age it shows. He steps up to the table and takes a seat, resting his fisted hands on the table. “So, I’ve been looking into the rave scene, and I found this guy.”

Raising my eyebrow, I nod my head. “Good idea, I wouldn’t have even thought of that. Details?”

“His name is Randy. He’s really well known in the scene and would be the perfect distributor.”

Nodding my head, I smile. “Great, you have his number?”

He smirks. “I do.”

“Give him a buzz.”

He chuckles pulling out his phone and placing it on the table. He presses some buttons and the phone starts ringing.

Loud music blares through the phone and we all flinch back. It turns down like it’s a car radio. He answered first, then turned the music down.
What a dick.

“Yo, this is Randy.”

“Randy, it’s Penetrator.”

He laughs a belly laugh. “You know I still love that that’s your name. It screams total man whore.”

I smirk and raise an eyebrow.

“Right, well, you’re on the line with my president and vice president, too.”

“Whoa, holy shit, really?”

Chuckling slightly, I shake my head. “Yeah, really, name’s Mad Dog. Pleasure to talk to you, Randy.”

“Well, hey there, big boss man.”

I glance at Chops, and he smirks like he’s trying not to laugh. This kid’s obviously a bit of a punk. “Right Randy, we wanna set up a meet. You available to meet with us now?”

“Hey, for the Satan’s Savages, I’ll drop my dacks and run in circles. You tell me where and when and I’ll be there.”

Wincing at the imagery, I exhale. “Right. The carpark at the Salisbury Interchange. Meet us there in say…” I look down at my watch, “…thirty?”

“Can do, boss man. Guess I just look for the guys on bikes, right?”

Chuckling, I tilt my head. “Guess you do.”

“See ya there then.”

I don’t bother to say anything else, and nod to Penetrator, who hangs up the phone. “Is this guy okay, Penetrator?”

He smiles. “He’s a little… quirky, but I think he’d do anything for us. You just gotta get used to him. He’s well liked in the underground scene, and I know he has no ties to the heat. He’s been in trouble with them a couple of times, though. I’ve known him for quite a while. We can trust him, Prez, he’s weird, but he’s a good kid, he’ll do well for us I’m sure.”

Nodding my head convinced enough by Penetrators advice, I signal for us to leave. “Let’s ride.”

We all stand up and walk out of the assembly room, out of the clubhouse and toward our Hogs.

As we wait a Commodore SS-V in phantom black, pulls into the interchange. I turn to Penetrator raising my eyebrow as the 6.2 litre LS3 V8 engine purrs driving into the car park. If I didn’t like Hog’s so much, I could imagine myself driving something like that or a hotted-up ute.

“Nice ride,” I murmur and Penetrator nods.

“Yeah, kid’s got more money than sense.”

A man steps out of the black beauty and the sight assaults my eyes. He’s wearing a neon tie died T-shirt that’s about three sizes too big for him, bright yellow pants, and a bright red baseball cap. Glancing over at Penetrator, I furrow my brows. He shrugs and winces as the young kid walks over to us with a bright smile plastered all over his face.

“Yo wassup,” he booms and I duck down at his loud voice.

“Oi, you ever heard of being inconspicuous?” I berate.

He smirks looking down at his top as he steps up to us and smiles. “Umm, no offense big man, but… you’re in the middle of Salisbury, in your bad ass Satan’s Savages cuts, with your Harleys looking like the hairy bikers you are, and you’re worried about me being inconspicuous?”

Furrowing my brows, I take a deep breath as I notice the bus pull up and people getting off. So I step closer to this freak and lower my voice. “If you think for one second, that it’s okay to talk to the President of the Satan’s Savages like that, you have another think coming, son. I have the ability to make you disappear without anyone noticing. I can lock you so far underground no one can hear your screams of agony as I rip your tiny shriveled balls from your sacks and make you eat them. Don’t think for a minute you can act like a fool with me, son, ‘cause I’m the thing your nightmares have nightmares about.”

He swallows hard and chews on his bottom lip looking me right in the eyes as I slowly back away from him. He looks to Penetrator, who raises his eyebrow at him, and tilts his head. Randy looks back at me, and a small smile crosses his lips confusing me.

He chuckles slightly and shakes his head. “Holy fuck, I think I love you a little bit.”

Opening my eyes wide in complete shock, I jolt my head back. “Seriously?”

“Yeah man, that was some of the twisted, most epic shit I’ve ever heard. You’re a fucking legend, mate!”

Glancing at Chops, who has his arms crossed over his chest and his lips drawn in tight like he’s suppressing a laugh, I shake my head.

“Who the fuck are you, son?” I ask.

He smiles putting out his hand to shake. “Randy, Randy Dayman.”

“Well, despite everything, I think it’s a pleasure to meet you. Question, though, is Randy your real name?” I inquire.

He laughs. “Oh, fuck no, not many people know my real name. Randy was given to me in high school ‘cause I was always as horny as fuck. It’s just kind of stuck, and then in the rave scene with all the drugs and shit and selling, having a
‘fake’
name helps with the cops.”

Smiling, I nod. “Okay, well, after a rocky start, I might be warming up to you. But if we’re going to be working together I need trust… full trust. I need to know who I’m working with.”

He winces. “You wanna know my name, don’t ya?”

I nod and he sighs. “Okay, but don’t laugh.”

“I wouldn’t dream of it.”

He exhales and tilts his head turning his cap backward on his head like he’s uncomfortable, it makes me feel good that he’s nervous. “Okay, fine, it’s Spartacus.”

We all pause and stare at him blankly for a moment. Almost like I’m waiting for him to say
‘just kidding,’
but he doesn’t. He just rolls his eyes and shakes his head. “I’m not joking, my parents are arseholes.”

Opening my eyes wide, I can’t contain my laugh as I throw my head back and let out a loud belly laugh, along with Chops and Penetrator.

“Yeah, yeah, laugh it up.”

Looking back at him, I shake my head and take a deep breath. “Okay, shit. I’m sorry, son. I need to give you a job as a lackey after hearing that shit.”

His eyes sparkle as he jumps from foot to foot. “Fuck me, really?”

“Umm… there’ll be no fucking you, but yes. But there are terms to it. I won’t be giving you the stash and you not distribute it for ages. You do this, you do it straight away. We want the profits to come in immediately
. We
see profits,
you
get profits, you following?”

He smiles and nods. “It’s a Friday night, there’s a rave in the underground in an hour or so, I can traffic a heap out there and get you profits tomorrow. That soon enough for you, Prez?”

I nod. “I’m impressed by your eagerness, Randy. I think you’ll be a good asset to the team.”

“Bonza, where do I get the…” He tilts his head, opening his eyes wide like he’s having a fit.

Laughing, I shake my head. “Penetrator will get the stash to you. Then tomorrow we’ll meet up with you again to reap the rewards. He’ll give you your cut, but if you run off with our money and or the stash, you’ll have an entire biker club after you. Got me, son?”

He scoffs. “I’m not going to run. I’ve always admired bikers, and if I can prove myself then maybe I can prospect in?”

I smirk. “Not in those clothes. But if you prove yourself, we’ll see what we can do.”

“Yes!”

“Nice meeting you, Spartacus.”

He frowns and rolls his eyes. “Yeah, you too, pleasure doing business with you.”

Turning with Chops, we head out to our bikes leaving Penetrator with Randy.

“So, thoughts?”

“I think he’ll do okay. He’s a good fit. Seems like a smart kid, and like he knows his way around the rave scene. He could be good for business,” Chops replies, and I nod in agreement. He may be a fucking oddball, but he obviously has a hard-on for the club, and that’s the kind of commitment I like.

Hopping on my Hog, I pull on my lid and start up my engine. I nod to Chops and then hammer down to ride back to the clubhouse.

I’m lying in bed on a high. The meeting with Randy tonight went well, and he’ll be out now at the rave distributing our eccys making me a nice tidy little profit.
Finally!
Rolling on my side, I open the bedside table drawer and pull out the photo that constantly resides in there. Bringing the picture up to my line of sight, the image of Amelia holding onto Steel as a baby with Byron and Tyson standing next to her on either side, makes me smile. Running my finger over the tattered old photo, the edges are worn because it’s so old, I remember that day as if it were yesterday. Steel was six months old, and the twins were three. Amelia was glowing with her long blonde hair. She’s simply stunning. I wish I could see her now. I know she’d still be breathtaking.
