„You can"t have known many then," I managed to say.

As he had snuggled up to me, I had automatically put my arm round and under his neck as he had laid his head on my shoulder and I wasn"t sure what I should do now with him virtually in my arms.

„Look," I said, somewhat uncomfortable in what I was going to say. „Don"t think me rude or whatever, but who are you and where are we?"

„You mean you don"t know what happened last night?" he exclaimed, lifting his head up to look me in the eye.
