To my agent, Nic Resciniti, for restraining me when necessary, and supporting me when I had to tell the story the way the characters needed.

To the editors: Jessa Russo and Bethany Hagen, whose edits whipped MAKE ME’s ass into shape, then rubbed the sting away.

Jessa Russo, AKA Jessalyn Jameson, AKA The Chunk to my Sloth. Thanks for the pep talks and the love. I can’t wait until we get together in real life so I can scare you with my face. I’M SO GRAPHIC, and so is my deep love and appreciation for all you are, and all you do. *sparkly thumbs up for MASTURBATION*

To my amazing formatter and even better friend, Cait Greer, the corset that made these words hold their shape. <3

To Jill Caperton, proofreader extraordinaire, I’m glad your pearls are still intact!

CPs who made this better, even if it was more of a slippery nipple than your regular cup-o-tea: Cait Greer, Brandi Lynch, Heather Griffin, and Amber Tuscan-Clites. Thank you for being glorious!

To my amazing Beta readers: Geneva Lee, Emmie Mears, Angie McLain, Marieke Nijkamp, Marisa Cleveland, Jessie Devine, Bethany Hagen, Melanie Harlow, Mina Vaughn, Angi Black, Kayti McGee, Jenna Tyler, Lydia Aswolf, and Lisa Otto, for reading different incarnations of this book and helping make it WAY better.

Roselle Kaes, for sending me delightfully inappropriate things that made me laugh when I really needed it. You’ll always be my peen pal. <3

Sara Taylor Wood, for keeping it inappropriate in public and on the DL ;) And to Dahlia Adler for hooking us up.

My NAturals girls, Laurelin Paige, Kayti McGee, Melanie Harlow, Sierra Simone, and Gennifer Albin, may we one day parade around in kaftans in person.

To the WrAHM’s. Thanks for the laughs and the commiseration and virtual dick punches to my nemeses.

To Date Book Designs for the AMAZING cover and teasers!

To the bloggers who have no idea how much their support helps me out, not just in getting the word out, but in lifting my heart up.

To my family, who I hope never ever reads this book. Ever.

To everyone who reads my work. To everyone who takes the time to write a review. To everyone who recommends it to a friend. Thank you. I appreciate every single one of you.

Tamara Mataya is currently a librarian. She lurked there for so long recommending books to patrons and shushing people that she suspects they only hired her so it would be less creepy. Now she’s armed with a nametag and a thin veneer of credibility. She’s also a musician with synaesthesia—which isn’t an issue until someone plays a wrong note, which makes her want to squirm inside out. It makes for a good live show.
