A pearly drop of dew beckoned. Her tongue lapped his moisture, exploring his mushroom-crown. He jerked. She grinned. The man was huge and swollen, the head a nice, rich purple. She swallowed him, her lips compressing along his length—up and down for a few minutes, conscious of the way his fingers twitched in her hair.

She released him, feathered her tongue over the thick ropey veins, and then teased that sensitive patch of skin beneath his head.

“Fuck, pet. Take me inside. I need your hot mouth sucking me.”

Taryn drew him deep inside and kept her rhythm nice and slow as she sucked. At the same time, her fingers caressed his balls. She slid her nails over his sensitive flesh. His string of fucks urged her on. She was determined to not only please and pleasure him, but to give to him the way he gave to her.

Holding his shaft with one hand as she slid him in and out of her mouth, she focused her attention on driving him over the edge. Reaching around, she squeezed his ass, her fingers sliding into his crease, loving the feel of his muscles as they clenched and unclenched. God, she loved his ass.

“God, enough. Fuck me, Miss Jones.” His voice came out harsh and low.

“As you wish, Mr. DeMitri.” She closed her lips around him and sucked him in fast and hard. He’d stopped her before. She was determined that this time, he belonged to her. He’d given her so much pleasure and, yeah, he’d pushed her past her comfort zone, but he’d been right. She’d never experienced so much pleasure, hadn’t known it was possible to be driven to the heights he’d taken her.

His salty-sweet taste warned that he was close. Seeing the taut lines of his face and the firm line of his lips, thrilled Taryn. Watching him, she slipped her hand between his legs, past his balls, to a patch of skin between balls and his anus. She pressed hard, as he’d done with her G-Spot.

He shouted and thrust his hips forward, dragging her head. She welcomed his cock back into her mouth and ended her teasing. She sucked him hard, let him guide her with his hands bunched in her hair.

It pleased her to have him thrusting in and out, fucking her hard and fast. She could barely keep up. His loss of control meant she’d pleased him. His harsh gasps surrounded her and each shouted, “Fuck,” sent jolts of need slamming into her clit. Sensing he was close, she opened her throat, took him deep, and swallowed. His shout echoed over the water as he thrust hard one last time and went stiff.

Taryn swallowed and milked every last drop of cum from his cock.

Gio prided himself on his rigid control, but with this woman, that control was hair-thin and, once snapped, he’d be unable to regain it. He didn’t think he’d ever been shot into an orgasm that hard, that deep.

His fingers rubbed the silky blond strands of her hair between his fingers and, when he pulled his throbbing, pulsating cock free, he nearly cried out when her lips compressed, gripping him still, as though reluctant to release him. He finally slid down to his knees, grabbed her, and brought her close.

He kissed her. His heart pounded, each breath was a gasp of air, and still, he kissed her, needing to feel her in his arms, taste her in his mouth, and know she belonged to him. His hands swept across her back, one palm sliding down to gently cup her ass.

God, what was he going to do? Every plan he’d set in motion was backfiring. He couldn’t just seduce her and be done with her. He had the feeling that, no matter how many times he fucked her, he’d never get her out of his system. Was he willing to cause a rift between him and his family because of this woman?

Of course, the damage was done. He’d screwed himself yesterday when he fucked her in his office. Once, a man might say it just happened. But there was no excusing today, and he had no regrets, just worries about how he could keep this woman without destroying his family.

Taryn let Gio pull her close. Her knees slid over his as she sat on his lap, his cock throbbing against her belly. She wrapped her arms round his neck and feathered her lips along his jawline, up his firm chin to his mouth. It was the first move she’d made and, when he returned her kisses, she sighed.

His arms banded around her, holding tight as though afraid she might flee. She’d never believed in love at first sight, she believed it had to grow out of a relationship centered on mutual respect. And required time. After all, how could you love someone you didn’t know?

But she’d been wrong. Maybe she’d been in lust with this man since day one, but since yesterday, that lust had morphed into love. Her mind might protest but her body had chosen. It didn’t matter that she didn’t know that much about him personally. She knew enough to know he’d always treat her with respect—even honor.

And he certainly knew her body and what she needed. With all the other men she’d slept with, none had brought her to such mind-numbing orgasms. In fact, she hadn’t thought herself able to experience anything beyond a pleasant pop. She’d never thought of herself as a very sexual person.

Gio had dispelled that notion. She was a sex slut under his guidance and, she suspected, ruined for any other man. Her heart swelled. She loved this man who was kissing her so passionately. Nothing else mattered. He pulled back.

“You, Karyn Jones, are incredible.” He slid a hand down between them. “I think it’s your turn now. Orgasm number four?”

She moaned, partly with need and partly with guilt. She wanted to hear
her
name on his lips, wanted to tell him the truth—needed honestly between them. His fingers tunneled through her pubic hair.

“Gio—” She gasped when he found the heart of her desire. “Gio, we have to talk.” She whimpered when he stroked her.

“Talk later, pet. Right now, all I want is for you to feel.” He lifted her onto the cushion, spread her legs, and dipped his head down. Staring at him, seeing his dark hair mingling with her blond curls, she thought how lucky she was to have her very own dark god. Then his tongue plowed through her seam.

She cried out, ran her fingers through his hair, and held him to her. Her head fell back and her mind went blank, as she had no choice but to feel.

Gio woke first. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d spent the night on his yacht. He felt refreshed and energized and horny as a teenage boy. He was hard as a rock. He turned his head, watching Karyn as she slept. They’d spent the entire night working on her other orgasms in between eating dinner and enjoying the moonlight reflecting on the bay. Then, they’d both fallen asleep, after orgasm six for her and his third time letting her bring him to fulfillment.

Reaching over the side of the bed, he pulled open a drawer. He fished out a condom and quickly rolled it on, then turned to Karyn and pulled the covers back. The chilly bay air puckered her nipples and had her shifting restlessly. He palmed one pert tit, then leaned forward and closed his lips over her mound and suckled. Her sleepy groan pleased him. She blinked down at him.

“Are you awake, pet?”

“I am now, Sir. Do you need something?”

He grinned. “Oh, I need something all right. I believe you might need the same thing. Never did finish last night. Someone fell asleep on me.”

She wrinkled her nose. “Your fault for wearing me out, Sir.”

He bent his head and kissed her, taking his time, going deeper, until they were both panting. He lifted his head. “Thankfully, we can fix that oversight now.” He ground his hips into hers, rubbing his pubic bone over her soft mound, feeling her cushion of curls mingling with his.

“Hmm, you might be right, Sir.” She parted her legs and sighed when his finger slid down, probing, stroking.

“Wet already. Good. I need you now.” Gio threaded his fingers with hers and cradled her head with his arms. He lifted his hips and probed her entrance.

Taryn drew her knees up, widening herself in invitation. Gio slowly eased his huge cock inside, filling every inch of her. She groaned. She needed him to go faster, harder and deeper. Staring into his dark eyes, she parted her lips, panting as each stroke went deeper.

She loved the way his body blanketed hers. Where she was soft, he was hard. His breath mingled with hers and his fingers gripped hers. They were connected, physically and emotionally. The look in his eyes as he watched her gave her heart hope.

She tightened the walls of her vagina around his cock. He froze, just sat there, his throbbing shaft buried deep. She gasped when he slid out and whimpered when he slid back into her pulsating sheath. Nothing had ever felt so good. Yesterday, their fucking had been fast and frantic and fantastic.

This slow mating turned Taryn’s insides to goo. She fought to keep Gio inside, needing to be one with him. Each time he pulled out, she felt abandoned—then joyous when he thrust back inside.

“With me, love.” Gio bent his head and kissed her.

She moved with him, meeting each thrust of his hips with her own. They came together. He ground his public bone into her, pressing hard against her clit until she cried out. Then he pulled back, leaving her gasping with need. He repeated his motion, driving deep, grinding hard, and circling his hips—over and over—a slow, erotic dance that shoved her into a fog where ending this torture was all that mattered.

“Gio,” she whimpered. She tried to get him to go faster and harder, but he kept his pace. She wanted him to rocket her into a world of pure bliss. She was so close.

“With me, Karyn. With me.” His hips pumped into action, thrusting harder and deeper.

Taryn gasped, arched her back, and exploded. She cried his name.

Gio sucked in a deep breath as she shuddered and convulsed around his cock. It was all he needed. “Fuck! Fuck!” He exploded inside her.

After, he rolled to the side, pulling her over him like a comforting blanket. “That was amazing,” he murmured, wrapping his arms around her. Her soft gasps were the sweetest music. Another sound intruded. A phone.

She lifted her head.

“Let it go,” he murmured.

“Not mine.”

“Good.” He didn’t want anything to intrude on his time with Karyn. Then he groaned. “Damn, it’s probably my mother. She usually calls Sunday mornings.” Especially since Stefan was gone. The ringing stopped but he knew he’d have to call her right back or she’d start to fret. He rolled them back over and kissed her hard. “Go shower while I go up on deck and call her. Better reception there.”

Up on deck, he got his mom back on the line. “Hey mom. What’s up?”

“I hope I’m not disturbing you?”

Yeah, but he wouldn’t tell her that! “Nope. Spent the night on the boat.”

“How nice, dear. I wanted to tell you how glad I am that you let Karyn join Stefano in New York. ”

Gio frowned. “What are you talking about? Karyn’s not in New York.”

“Well, maybe she flew out for the weekend. Anyway, there’s a nice picture of the two of them at some charity dinner thing. My friend Elsa was there and she took it and texted it to me. I’ll send it to you. I know you don’t approve of their engagement, but I think it’s wonderful. I do like Karyn. I’ll let you go. Talk to you later.”

The call ended and then an incoming text sounded. Had Stefano found someone else? Gio’s hope rose. That would make life a hell of a lot easier. And guilt free. He tapped the image and nearly dropped the phone. There was his brother, sitting at a table, his arms around a woman wearing a black dress with baby blue eyes and pale blond hair swept up. She was laughing.

He went cold inside as he stared at those same full, pink painted lips and thought of the unpainted lips, of the same shape and size, he’d just kissed. If Karyn was in New York, who was her look alike down below?

Chosen Book 4

Taryn stared at the closed door to Gio’s office and frowned. It’d been four days since she’d seen him. She wondered if he was okay, if his mother was okay. After taking to her on Sunday, he’d been quiet and distant. She’d come up on deck to find him dressed and raising the anchor, stating that they were returning to the marina.

He’d been quiet and immersed in his own thoughts during the trip back to her apartment. Had she displeased him? How could that be when the sex had been absolutely wonderful, at least for her and, as far as she knew, she hadn’t displeased him in that area either.

But something was wrong. She chewed her lower lip. Had he somehow found out about her from his mother? She didn’t see that happening, as both Karyn and Stefano had decided to keep it a secret. And from what she knew of Gio, had he found out, he’d have let her know immediately. So what was going on? Where was he?

She’d arrived at work on Monday to find a message that he’d been called away. He’d left her a list of work to be done but had not called in. All communication was via email. Leaning back in her chair, she sighed. The office wasn’t the same with him gone. It was too quiet.

She stood and paced the small room, eyeing the file cabinet where it had all started with the breaking of her heel. Dammit, she missed the man and not just for the sex. His quiet energy and commanding presence kept her mentally alert, and his quick mind challenged her and kept her on her toes. Then there was the sex. The weekend had been pretty incredible.

Maybe he was tired of her.

That thought depressed her, but really, what did she know of the man? She’d only worked for him a few weeks. Though after the office sex, and the weekend of sex, what more did she want to know? He made her feel alive—whole. Everything else could come later.

If anyone had told her she’d participate in any form of BDSM, she’d have been horrified. She grimaced. Same was true if anyone suggested she might be submissive in nature when it came to her sexuality. But she had participated, had loved everything Gio had done and, at least with him, she was more than happy to be submissive.

Returning to her desk, she started on her next report and hoped Gio didn’t stay away too long, and that he wasn’t avoiding her because he was tired of her.

***

In New York, Gio brooded. He felt betrayed, not just by Taryn, but by his brother as well. Family and loyalty were as important to him as breathing and eating. He’d been tricked and deceived. So much made sense now. Like why all of a sudden he was attracted to his brother’s fiancé when he’d never felt any sort of sexual interest before.

Karyn didn’t stir him. Taryn on the other hand had reached out with an invisible hand and gripped him by the balls. He’d been drawn to her since that first meeting. He’d certainly been attracted to other women, even the instant want-to-fuck them attraction. But Taryn was different. She’d appealed to more than his physical needs.

They shared many interests, she was intelligent, she was confident in herself as a woman and she didn’t hesitate to put him in his place if he became to overbearing or demanding. Except sexually. There she was the perfect sub—brave, trusting and so incredibly giving and responsive.

Before Taryn, Gio hadn’t figured on finding anyone he could love or even consider building a relationship with. But Taryn changed that. He’d grown used to seeing her every day, needed her smile, yearned to hear her voice, the different tones—professional and controlled on the phone, easy and friendly with co-workers, her laughter with his sister.

With him, she preferred haughtiness, a firmness few took with him. Most of all, he missed their battle of wills. She wasn’t afraid of him, even when he turned hard and cold, as he did when he thought himself right—sometimes based solely on the fact that he was the boss!

But Taryn didn’t let him get away with using his status to browbeat her into agreeing with him. When she believed she was right she didn’t back down and, he’d learned, when it came to the projects they’d worked on together, she was more than often right. Her instincts were spot on and she wasn’t afraid to stand up to the boss. Because of that, she’d increased the company’s bottom line.

He stared out the window of his apartment at the street below. His family owned the building and they each had a home here, though he was the only one with a tri-level penthouse. Below, people the size of ants rushed this way and that. Tiny toy taxis zipped through traffic or dropped off ants and took on new passengers. New York boasted an energy and life not found anywhere else, not even in San Francisco. Had Taryn ever been here? He wished she were there so he could take her out to dine, dance, and see the sights.

Shaking his head, he slumped into a chair. What a laughable mess he was in, all due to a damn broken shoe. He leaned his head back, closed his eyes, and relived that first encounter. God, she’d been so responsive, so damn eager, and so delicious. And the time on his yacht. “Fuck.” He couldn’t think of that. He jumped up and paced.

He had to figure out what he was going to do about Taryn. That thorn beneath his skin was now a festering wound. He’d brooded and paced his apartment in San Francisco for three days, attempting to work from home. When he’d left California late last night, he’d been furious. He’d planned to confront his brother and Karyn.

A check of both women’s employment files confirmed that they were sisters, and the fact that their birthdates were the same explained why they resembled each other. He’d been bested by twins using one of the oldest cons in the world. They’d switched identities and he’d fallen for it, hook, line, and sinker. He tunneled his fingers through his hair. And why wouldn’t he? He didn’t know Karyn that well.

Except there had been little tells—her much more conservative office attire, the fact that she took her coffee black, her lack of shyness and, of course, she never talked about Stefano. He’d figured she was keeping their engagement low key and trying to impress him. How wrong he’d been.

Since dropping her off on Sunday, his emotions had ping-ponged back and forth between anger, betrayal, and guilt. It didn’t matter that he no longer had anything to feel guilty about. It still burned his gut that he’d actively planned to take Karyn—Taryn—from his brother.

And that meant that Taryn meant more to him than just a sexual partner. Standing, he was about to storm out of his room and go for a walk when the room phone rang. He answered it, a bit more curtly than normal. He smiled grimly when the doorman informed him that his brother had just returned, with a Miss Karyn Jones. He thanked the man.

Minutes later, he knocked on his brother’s door. It opened and there stood Karyn.

“Gio!” her voice ended on a squeak. “Stefano!”

He studied her, seeing the differences—Taryn’s nose was a bit slimmer and she had a tiny mole on her temple, right side. Even their eyes were different. The shape and color was the same, but the soul of the person staring out was totally different. He’d never mix them up again.

He moved past her, seeing his brother coming down the stairs.

“What’s wrong, Karyn—” Stephano started. He stared down at Gio then sighed. “Oh shit.”

“Yeah. Though I prefer, ‘Fuck.’ A bit stronger.” He folded his arms and glared from one to the other. “That was a pretty sneaky, dirty ploy, Stef.”

His brother shrugged, and then grinned as he put his arm around Karyn. “I don’t know. I thought it was pretty ingenious.”

“Stefano—”

“Giovanna DeMitri, it’s your own damn fault. If you weren’t such a nosy busybody, we wouldn’t have had to resort to deceit,” Karyn said. She pulled away from Stefano, shifted slightly in front of him, and shoved her hands on her hips. “So don’t you come in here and start shouting. You are not Stefano’s father, and you have no right playing with other people’s lives.”

Shocked at her boldness, Gio couldn’t help feeling a new thread of respect. “Well, now I’m seeing a bit of Taryn in you. Talk about playing with people’s lives, do you know how guilty I’ve been feeling?”

Stefano pulled Karyn to the couch and sat. He grinned. “Why have you felt guilty?”

Gio saw the amusement in his brother’s eyes. “You knew I was sleeping with your fiancée?”

“Well now, Taryn’s not my fiancée, is she?” He laughed. “God, Gio. This is rich. I leave my ‘fiancée’ in your care, and you take her to bed. Not very brotherly.”

Karyn punched Stefano. “Stop teasing him, Stef. I think he really feels guilty.” She grimaced. “I’m sorry, Gio. None of us thought this might happen, that you and my sister—” She covered her mouth with her hands as though to hide her smile.

Gio paced in front of the couple then stopped and jabbed a finger at his brother. “This is all your fault.”

Stefano narrowed his eyes. “There’s no harm done. You know the truth so what’s the problem?”

Gio launched into a stream of Italian that would have made his tough grandfather turn red. He switched to English, his words tripping over each other. “Fuck you, Stef! I didn’t know that when I decided to seduce her to prove she was just after your money. Then she was such a damn good employee, I couldn’t do it. I figured time and distance would take care of your infatuation. If not, I figured I’d transfer her. Then she had to break a damn heel.” He hands were waving madly and, when he stopped, he glared at the couple on the couch. “Then everything changed. She was mine. I planned to do whatever it took to take her from you. I wanted her for myself. I, who lecture everyone else on loyalty and family, betrayed my own brother.” He felt slightly sick. “I would have done it, make no mistake.”

Once again, Karyn elbowed her fiancé. “You’re forgetting one thing, Gio. I would have had something to say about it. As, obviously, did my sister.” She lifted a brow. “And don’t think you’re so irresistible either. Had you tried to kiss me, I’d have taken you down a peg or two.”

Gio’s shoulders hunched. He turned away, strode to the fireplace, and braced his hands on the mantle. “Please forgive me, Stefano. I should never have interfered. I should never have tried to take what was yours.”

“And if you hadn’t, you’d never have met and fallen for my sister.” Karyn had risen from the couch and now gripped Gio by the arm, forcing him to face her.

He drew in a deep breath. “That doesn’t lessen my guilt, Miss—Karyn.” God, there was only one Miss Jones and he needed her at his side. He didn’t dare look at Karyn—look into those eyes so like Taryn’s.

“Look at me, Gio.” She gripped his arm hard.

“Leave it.” He met her gaze.

“Let me ask you one question and you have to be absolutely honest.” She waited.

His gut churned. “What?”

“Have you ever been attracted to me? Tempted by me? Even planning to seduce me, were you at all attracted to me?”

Gio let out his breath. That was an easy question. “No. Not a bit. I’d have gotten you in my bed just to prove to Stefano you were after a rich husband.”

“That’s what I thought, because the feeling is mutual. Now that you know I have a twin, would you mix us up? Kiss me by accident instead of Taryn?”

“That’s two questions.” At her silence, he led the way back to the couches and plopped down. “The answer is no. You may be twins but you’re different.”

Karyn laughed softly. “You don’t know how many people still mix us up.” She rejoined Stefano. “My point is, my soon-to-be brother-in-law, is you. And I’d be willing to bet that you’ve known, on some level, from day one that Taryn was not me. I suspect that, had you known I had a twin, you’d have caught on immediately.”

Stefano nodded. “Had he known, we’d never have tried it.” He rolled his eyes. “I take it back. We’d have done the same thing, as I was determined to have Karyn with me in New York. But Karyn’s right. We wouldn’t have gotten away with it and you’d have still been stuck with Taryn in the office as I hired her officially and just kept the files at home.”

Gio considered. He had picked out the inconsistencies and been confused and off balance right from the beginning. He grinned. “You’re right, both of you. That first day when she was early was my first clue, and then she told me off for sending Stefano away, said she didn’t like me. Then there was her taking her coffee black.”

Karyn looked shocked. “She was early? There goes my reputation!”

Stefano got up and poured a scotch for Gio and himself, and a glass of white wine for Karyn. “So, what are you going to do, brother?”

Downing his drink in one swallow, Gio stood. “I’m bringing Taryn to New York.” He narrowed his eyes. “Not a word. In fact, you, Stefano, have just been sent elsewhere. Pick a place, as long as it’s not in New York, and be gone.”

Stefano grinned. “How about a trip to Italy, love? You can meet the relatives.”

Taryn stared at New York from the back seat of the limo. She was nervous about seeing Gio again. His cryptic call yesterday ordering her to New York had shocked her. At first, she thought he’d found them out, but when he said he was there because Stefano had been called to Italy, leaving him to deal with the New York merger, she’d been relieved.

Karyn’s short text confirmed that they were in Italy and she was loving it. At least she didn’t have to worry about Gio running into Karyn with Stefano in New York. She just had to worry about Gio himself. She hugged herself tightly, afraid of seeing him again. What would she do if he’d lost interest in her? Maybe she was too much of a novice. Maybe he didn’t find her suitable to be his sub.
