Chapter Seven

When
Tamsyn
surfaced into consciousness she kept her eyes closed, not wanting to see that
he wasn't with her. Disappointment blossomed in her heart at the thought. But
what a hot dream! She turned to lie on her back then suddenly gasped. She was
naked.

And sore.

Tamsyn
sat up so fast that the room
spun a little.

“This can't be happening,” she
muttered.

How could her body feel as
though it had been thoroughly pleasured and her clothes in a puddle on the
floor?
You probably took it off in the
middle of the night
, her pragmatic mind scolded her.

“And the soreness between my
thighs?”
Tamsyn
asked, challenging her sane mind.

There was no chiding voice to
rebut what she asked.

This was really bad.

Tamsyn
got up and took the fastest
shower she ever made. Then in the middle of the spray of water she felt her
eyes prickle. Soon tears joined the water that fell down her body. She started
to sob uncontrollably.

She was in love with someone who
only lived in her dreams.

She dressed a little slower and
prepared to greet the day even if she wasn't up to it. But heck, she was on
vacation and she would make the most of it. She was going to the Royal Mile
again today. If she had felt him close there, maybe she would find that tingle
again and finally see him. That was the only place
Tamsyn
had sensed him.

Otherwise, she'd personally
commit herself to an asylum.

Alec waited by the Radisson
Blu
Hotel, scanning the host of tourists that trekked
towards
Castlehill
. He still couldn't sense her.
Could he have been wrong?

Last night was the closest he
had ever gotten to her. She felt more real than ever before. They had spoken
and she had told him she was in Edinburgh. That admission made their lovemaking
so intense that it seemed real. Could it be that the closer they were to each
other the more they could physically feel each other's presence?

Alec lowered his head,
pretending to read the newspaper he had in his hands. He closed his eyes as he
remembered their lovemaking. The four-poster bed they had made love on fit her
personality perfectly. All lace and woman. All sweetness and passion. All
romance and wild sex.

She was all he wanted.

Alec's eyes opened. He removed
his sunglasses and placed them inside his shirt pocket. He eyes narrowed so
nobody could see the beginnings of the desperation eating into his soul. She
had to be real. She just had to.

Because she was the love he
couldn't live without.

That was when he felt it. The
tingling sensation made him close his eyes momentarily. His body remembered the
afterglow of their lovemaking. He opened his eyes. The sensation was moving
away from where he was and toward the center of the Royal Mile. He followed it
as he snaked his way through the crowd of tourists making their way towards the
castle. As he walked in front of Starbucks and the
Tron
Kirk, the tingling became so strong he thought it would burst out of his chest.
He looked around. He tamped down his frustration as he raked his hand through
his hair. He concentrated on the two buildings. She was here among the throng
of tourists.

But where?

Alec prayed. He had not prayed
in a very long time. But he hoped that after a dry spell this one prayer would
be answered.

“Please,” was all he said.

Then he saw her.

Tamsyn
entered Starbucks again. It was
the place she felt the tingling sensation the strongest and she hoped that
somehow staying in the coffee shop would help her find him.

She queued awaiting her turn
when she almost doubled over. The tingling sensation slammed against her sex,
making her wet. The barista at the till was the same barista who took her order
yesterday and he was looking at her oddly.

“Are you okay?” he asked.

How could she tell him she was
about to have an orgasm in the middle of Starbucks? That would give her a free
ride to the closest asylum or court for charges of indecency.

“Yes, I'm fine,”
Tamsyn
said, her voice trembling a bit. She gave him the
briefest of smiles. “I'll just wait for my drink over there.” She pointed to
the end of the counter where a few tourists were waiting for their orders,
unmindful of what came over her.

The strength of the tingling
overwhelmed her. The possibility that he was here and so close heated the blood
in her veins. Goosebumps appeared on her upper arms. The caress of the air on
her neck almost made her moan. Her mound quivered as her clit throbbed.

But where was he?

The door to Starbucks opened.
More people were coming in to get their morning dose of caffeine.

“Tall iced
decaff
latte for
Tamsyn
!”

“Thanks,” she said. Her voice
sounded strangled. She cleared her throat and thanked the barista again. Her
heart still kept beating at a fast pace.

And she hadn't even drank from
her latte.

She found an empty table by the
window and sat down. The tingling was more forceful now. Like invisible hands
caressing her.
Tamsyn
looked out of the window and
closed her eyes when she felt her nipples beading. She opened her eyes again as
she scanned the faces of the men that walked by. No one remotely resembled him.

She inhaled deeply before she
buried her face in her hands. Squeezing her eyes shut, she willed her tears not
to fall and forced lump in her throat to subside. If he wasn't real she needed
to get him out of her mind. For the sake of her sanity. Probably it was time to
let go of the dream. He was probably the love meant for her but she could never
have. Someone she could not physically be with to share her life, her passions,
and her dreams.

It was that kind of love that
never died even though it was never meant to be.

The sensation was very, very
strong now. It held her spellbound and cocooned her desperation in a sea of
longing. Slowly the tears finally fell.
Tamsyn
vaguely heard the scrape of the chair beside her being pulled, but she didn't
take her face out of her hands. Damn, she wasn't even sure if she had any
tissue in her purse and she hadn't taken some napkins from the counter. She
didn't want to let people see her crying.

Tamsyn
felt heat emanating from
someone beside her.

Someone very close beside her.

Christ! She didn't need this.
She needed to be alone. She couldn't have someone's body heat beside her. It
would only make her think of him and make matters worse.

But the body heat did not move,
and with it the tingling peaked.

Then it hit her.
Tamsyn
stiffened, her breath coming out of her in a whoosh.
Could it be? Her heart galloped as though wanting to bolt out of her ribcage.
She could feel her heartbeat in her ears. She began to breathe heavily. She
removed her hands from her face, her eyes still closed. The cool air started to
dry the trail of tears on her face. She turned her head to the heat source,
anticipation putting a slight frown on her forehead.

Tamsyn
opened her eyes.

His blue-black eyes crinkled at
the corners the way they did when they were together. His smile dazzled her.
His thumb brushed away the wetness from her face before he leaned toward her.

It was him. She couldn't believe
it, but he was here. In front of her. He took her mouth in his and she closed
her eyes savoring him. His kiss was just as how she knew it would be and more.
Then he lifted his head.
Tamsyn
didn't give a damn
about the stares they were getting. New tears threatened to fall down her
cheeks, but she successfully held them in check. She smiled. His eyes mirrored
her happiness. They had finally found each other.

“Hey, you,”
Tamsyn
said, her mouth curving to a smile, her voice husky.

“Hey,
Tamsyn
.”
His lopsided grin turned her into jelly. Oh, God, his deep voice thrummed
awareness through her entire body.

“You know my name?”

“I came in just as the barista
called your name,” he said inclining his head towards the bar.

“Oh, God, you're a Scot!”

“I didn't realize God had taken
citizenship, but aye, I'm a
Scot.
” His shoulders
shook slightly with mirth.

Tamsyn
almost laughed hysterically.
She so loved the way he spoke.

“I don't know yours. We could
never always get to that part.”

He arched his brow in amusement.

“I wonder why,” he said, his
voice deep and sensual.

Tamsyn
felt her body respond to him.
She bent her head over her arms folded on the table. She had to take control of
her desire but it was difficult with him beside her.

“It's Alec,” he said softly in
her ear, causing a shiver to traverse her spine and spike in her womb. The low
timbre of his voice was the sound that held the puppet strings to her body. She
bit down on her lower lip hard. Her moan turned to a hum that expressed the
delight coming out of her. He leaned closer to lick the sensitive spot behind
her ear before he whispered, “It's the only name you will know from now on.”

Tamsyn
looked up, unable to stop the
desire burning in her eyes. She heard his low growl. She encircled her arms
around his neck and as he held her close.

As though he would never let her
go.

“I don't doubt that,”
Tamsyn
said cupping his face and gave him a kiss that
promised him a lot more. “So now that we've finally seen each other, what do we
do now?”

“Time to make it real,” he said.
He stood up slowly before he held out his hand to her.

“Your place or mine?” She cocked
her head to one side, her eyes lighting up mischievously.

“Why not both?” He grinned.

Tamsyn
laughed as they left the cafe,
her latte forgotten.

Chapter Eight

Tamsyn's
heart pounded as they neared
Alec's house along
Redhall
House Avenue. He switched
off the car's engine before he got out, walking around to open her door. When
she got out he looked at her. Overhead, the clear blue sky was a gentle
contrast to the cream-colored houses. A soft breeze played with the wisps of
chestnut brown hair that framed her face. Alec tucked the strands behind her
ear as his hungry gaze zeroed on her slightly parted lips. An involuntary gasp
escaped her when Alec curved his hand around her nape, his thumb caressing the
skin behind her ear. He leaned in to kiss her. She welcomed his tongue that
didn't demand entry because she opened up willingly. Her mouth, her entire body
was his for the taking. She encircled her arms around his neck as she sucked
and flicked his tongue with her own. She felt her power over him when a growl
rumbled in his chest as he brought her flushed against his body and his thick
rod strained against his Levi's.

“We're here,” Alec said against
her mouth.

Her body was taut with desire.
Overwhelming lust slammed against her, making her teeter close to the brink of
desperation.
Tamsyn
knew she should be ashamed of the
way she felt, but with Alec here in the flesh she was about to spiral out of
control.

“Take me right away, Alec,” she
said, pressing her hips against his. The motion made her realize she was very
wet. “I've waited to make this real for a very long time.”

Alec's eyes darkened with the
same hunger she felt.

“We're going to take it slow,
babe,” he said. “I want to taste every inch of you and drink from you.”

Her breath hitched. God, this
was going to be slow burning, fire consuming sex.

Reluctantly they ended their
embrace. Alec took her hand as they walked down the path to the front door of
his house. He took his key out and inserted it inside slowly, then took it out
and inserted it again with slow deliberation.
Tamsyn's
breath caught. Her eyes flew to his.

“That's how I will enter you,”
he said his deep voice stoked the growing fire in her core. “Slow and languid
so you can feel every inch of my cock in and out of you.”

Tamsyn
moaned. “Alec, don't. I won't
last with you talking like that.”

His laugh was sensual, rumbling
in his chest.

“That's exactly what I want.”

With one quick thrust of his
hand, Alec turned the key. The click and noise of the lock turning only
heightened
Tamsyn's
need for release.

As soon as she entered, Alec
closed the door and pulled her roughly into his arms. Excitement coursed
through
Tamsyn
in a rush. They kissed almost
desperately, the longing and pent-up lust that could only be satisfied in their
dreams came like a tidal wave to engulf them. Delightful shivers of wanting him
ran through her as her heart almost burst with happiness.

* * * *

Alec felt he was riding high
over the earth's stratosphere. To feel
Tamsyn's
body
finally underneath his hands, his cock straining against her belly was
incredible. Yes, the kisses were just as he imagined them to be and more. Her
mouth was soft and pliant against his mouth. And her tongue. It was like
sucking on a strawberry, her taste buds the tiniest ridges. His rod hardened at
the thought of her tongue and mouth on him. Finally.

For real.

They shed their clothes. Alec
held her against the wall. They laughed as the coats they tried to clumsily
hang on the pegs fell over them.
Tamsyn
bent to
retrieve them.

“Leave it,” he growled.

Tamsyn
squealed when he lifted her and
carried her to the living room and laid her on the chaise lounge. He
immediately covered her body with his. Heated flesh moved and rubbed against
heated flesh, bringing the friction to dizzying heights.

Alec knelt above
Tamsyn
. Her swollen lips, her seductive smile, her hair
spread like a silken curtain was a sight to see. It was a sight Alec wanted to
wake up to every day of his life. Her breasts pushed against the lacy cups of
her bra. Alec could see her dusky nipples against the dainty material. He
cupped them before his hands gently clawed the cups away so his palms could
take their place.
Tamsyn
was breathing hard. Her eyes
filled with her desire and hunger. for him. At a snail's pace, Alec brought his
thumbs over her nipples, then swirled his thumbs' rough pads around it but not
the nubs.
Tamsyn
moaned. Her eyes looked down at his
raging erection that peeked out of his white boxers. When she looked up again
at him, her eyes were alight with mischief. Right there and then, Alec
completely cupped her breasts before he gently pinched her nubs. She closed her
eyes as a cry came out of her. She put her hands on his abs before hooking her
thumbs against his boxers to pull them off his hips.
Tamsyn
purred when his cock stood long, thick, and proud, and slightly curved upward
before she closed her hand over it while her other hand gently teased his
balls. Alec growled.

“You keep on doing that I'll be
coming in your hand.” He bit out before he leaned down taking one nipple and
sucked it into his mouth while his tongue flicked.

Tamsyn
gave a low cry.

“I want more, Alec,” she pleaded
while she continued bringing her hand up and down his thick shaft. “Please.”

“You'll have your chance later.
My turn first,” Alec rasped. He knelt up again. “Turn around.”

Tamsyn
did as she was told. She was on
all fours as Alec unhooked her bra which fell to the floor.
Tamsyn
shuddered when his hands splayed over her back, then moaned when Alec cupped
her breasts from behind and thumbed her nipples until they hardened. As he
bent, his cock brushed against her undies soaked with her heat.
Tamsyn
moved her hips backwards a sigh escaping her lips
when his shaft’s tip touched her sex. Alec continued to fondle her breasts as
he kissed her neck, her back, trailing his tongue over her spine.
Tamsyn's
breath came in gasps. Her body screamed to be his.
She whimpered when his hands left her breasts, but sighed when he caressed her
ribcage, her belly, her waist before his hands ever so slowly removed her
undies throwing them on the floor. His tongue made a wet trail down her spine
then continued to lick her butt cheeks. Her moans of anticipation were music to
Alec's ears. The sweet scent of her desire made him salivate. His own blood
roared in his veins and thickened his cock.

Tamsyn
was everything Alec knew she
would be. A passionate woman who would fill his nights with ecstasy.

His life with peace.

And Alec was going to make
Tamsyn
know she was his and he was hers.
