Chapter 4

Gianni grasped his cock at the base, and held tight. The vision of Leah before him, bound and flushed with desire, was nearly too much.

He leaned forward toward the high bed and touched the tip of his erection to her wet tissues. The feel of her heat against him made his cock lurch. God, she was beautiful tied up on the bed.

Her eyes half closed when he pushed deeper. Slowly, she stretched around him. Her pussy was so wet and hot. The knowledge that Leah enjoyed this as much as he did made it even better.

Rocking his hips forward, Gianni slid deeper, until he was lost in her. Leah’s panting matched his, and a light sheen of sweat covered his body. Her lush breasts were heavy with arousal, and her nipples distended.

Her lovely brown eyes were glazed with need, and her flat abdomen was tight. She was ready, and seeing Leah in such a vulnerable state took him to the brink of release. It was tempting to deny her orgasm, see the suffering in her eyes, and know the power he had over her.

To have her submit in that way would be too much for the first time. Plus, he
wanted
her to come, bound tight as she was. The orgasm would take on a different character, because she wouldn’t be able to move. She would be forced to feel.

Leah made a feminine sound in the back of her throat when he fucked her fast and hard. His swollen cock filled her. And with her sweet pussy stretched around him, Gianni didn’t know how long he could hold on.

But it was important to remain strong, to keep the upper hand. It would be so easy to just give in, and a part of him wanted to. However, Leah was counting on him. This was for her. This was what she needed, what
he
needed.

As he fucked her, Gianni watched her body rock on the bed, and drank in the sight of her naked breasts swaying with the motion. He reached down to cup them, loving their warmth. Then she convulsed around him involuntarily.

Leah’s eyes widened. He knew the effort it took for her to hold back. But she would do it for him. He would see that she did. “Not yet,” he said.

She bit her lower lip, and her hands clutched the ropes that bound her. His cock felt so good inside the velvet glove of her pussy. Gianni didn’t want to delay his pleasure, but even more, he wanted it to last.

He refused to give the command just yet.

He stroked, more slowly, and watched her face. Loving to see her agonized by the pain of holding back, and knowing the intensity of what was to come, Gianni didn’t rush. Each stroke was slower than the last, and he felt every inch of her as he slid deep.

Leah whimpered, gasping for breath, and clinging to any shred of resistance she had left. With his hands on the bed next to her head, Gianni leaned down and kissed her lips. Just a light touch. Only a mere sense of closeness, knowing that more would make her come apart before he gave permission.

Leah raised her head, reaching for his lips as he pulled away.

“I want to feel you come, baby,” he said.

At first she stared at him, as if unsure he had really said that. Then her eyelids grew heavy, and her body turned to steel underneath him. With her abdomen rigid, her pussy gripped him like a vise.

Leah screamed, loud and long. The heavy convulsions racked her body, and she gasped through her yell, releasing in the only way she could. Gianni knew her orgasm would be more than she had experienced before. Unable to move, the power of it would consume her with little she could do to lessen it.

As the climax exploded inside her, Gianni let go. His cock hurt and his balls ached, then release came hard. He pulsed into her, shooting all his cum inside her sweet channel. The climax was so powerful it sucked every ounce of strength from his body.

His moan echoed against the walls, in harmony with Leah’s cry. Knowing the magnitude of what she felt, how deeply it would affect her, pushed Gianni higher into the stratosphere of pleasure. He caught a glimpse of her face, witnessed the tortuous sensations she was a victim of, and he groaned deep in his throat.

Leah’s eyes were closed, and she fell limp underneath him. Gianni caught his breath for a moment, then pulled out of her. Yanking on the end of the ropes, he quickly undid her restraints. Her legs straightened out and her arms moved. He rubbed her wrists and ankles, noting there was no sign of irritation.

Gianni tossed the ropes to the floor, and cradled her in his arms. For a moment, Leah was motionless. Then she gave him a weak smile. He knew that it would take a bit for her to fully come back. After such intensity, there was recovery involved.

He carried her to the bathroom and sat her on the edge of the tub. After filling it with warm water, he lowered her into the bath and got in with her. Leaning against the porcelain, he pulled Leah into a gentle embrace.

For a few minutes she was silent, and her breathing gradually returned to normal. When she moved, Leah reached up and touched his cheek. Then she put her fingertips on his lips, and he kissed them.

“How are you, baby?”

She gave him a little smile. “Good…very good.”

Gianni was relieved to hear her say that. Although he had tried to stay in tune with her responses, he didn’t have a lot of experience with Leah during that type of scene. Different women responded in different ways. She had seemed all right, but he needed to hear it.

“We can talk about it,” he said. “You can tell me how it was for you. I want to know.”

Leah looked up at him. “It was like a dream, like something I wanted for so long. But I didn’t think existed.”

He watched her, loving the glow he saw there.

“You were right. Being bound made the release so much stronger.” She looked away, as if remembering. “It was so powerful…the orgasm exploded inside me. But I couldn’t move. I had to feel every intense second.”

Gianni placed his palm on her cheek.

“I…it was…”

“I know, baby,” he said. “I’m glad it was good for you.”

“And you,” she said. “Did I satisfy you?”

The fact that she would ask touched him. “Yes, you more than satisfied me.” Gianni spoke the truth. “I know that you haven’t experienced sex in that way before. But I have. And you should know it hasn’t been better for me. Not with anyone.”

Leah’s eyes sparkled, and he put his hand on the back of her head, pulling her close. Her lips were soft, and a sweet scent of sex still emanated from her. Gianni was deeply affected, more than he was prepared for.

There was something about how Leah responded to what he did that gripped him. It touched him to his very soul. He had maintained control. This time. But he didn’t know about the next. Leah affected him in a way no woman had.

He didn’t mention it, because he couldn’t explain it. And he didn’t want her to assume more from it. But Gianni felt it, and he knew the effect wasn’t going away anytime soon. In one way, it was a welcome feeling.

But it left him unsettled, as though all his careful plans were dissolving. Gianni forced his thoughts back to reality. They had played out a scene, one that Leah was comfortable with, and had wanted to participate in. It had been good for both of them. He needed to stop making more out of it.

*****

For the rest of the evening, Gianni was gentle with her. And Leah was grateful for that, because she needed time to understand what had happened. The sexual sensations were simple enough to explain.

But her emotions were not as clear. What Leah felt when the man she craved, tied her up, and controlled her completely was unexpected. She had known she would like it. Or had thought she would. And she had.

But when she served him, let Gianni do what he wished with her, it had felt amazing. But in a new way. Leah felt bonded with him like she had not felt with any man. It was as though he owned her. And she wanted him to possess her more than she wanted anything.

Her thoughts, her senses, her body, were all for Gianni’s satisfaction. Leah had not been with a man she could give herself to as she had with him. And she realized the need for it ran deep. Sex with Gianni that night carried her to a new place.

It was a place that felt right, and it felt like
her
. To submit to Gianni was a thrill she wouldn’t grow tired of. It seemed that she needed it, as much as he needed for her to do it. And the truth of her sexuality came forth in its wake.

The one thing that frightened her, more than what he might ask her to do next, was the possibility of losing him. Despite the intimacy they had shared, Gianni voiced no emotions. He had told her that she satisfied him. But he never mentioned anything that involved the heart.

Leah hadn’t expected him to. He hadn’t so far. But the scene that played out moved her deeply. And she marveled that he didn’t feel the same. Was it not the same for men? Could a man dominate a woman, possess her, and yet not feel?

She wasn’t sure. But as it stood, he was the man she wanted, in every way. Yet he had no ties to her. Gianni could leave whenever he wanted to, whenever he found another woman he thought could satisfy him.

What would Leah do then? How would she survive his absence in her life? It had taken her so long to find the one man who could give her what she needed. Depression loomed at the thought of not having him anymore.

But she couldn’t think of that. Leah had all night with Gianni. And even when they went home, she expected that he would want to see her. So, for as long as she pleased him, Leah would drink in all that he gave her. And give back as much as she was capable of.

*****

The next morning, they woke early. Leah dreaded leaving. Something about being away, alone in the luxury hotel, was secure. As long as they were there, she had Gianni. Back home, who knew? Leah tried to be strong and have faith.

Gianni was warm, if distant. He didn’t mention the night before, and was already on the phone to his company. She watched him, and admired his efficiency. Leah stared at him when he wasn’t looking, loving the sight of him. He was the sexiest man she had known, and it was difficult to take her eyes off him.

When they left the hotel, Leah felt the loss. But once they were aboard the private jet, Gianni turned his attention to her, which was reassuring. He touched her, and he wanted her. Once again, they had a long flight during which they could enjoy each other. And she knew they would.

Things almost seemed normal, except Leah had changed. She felt different, in a significant way. Finally, Gianni wasn’t being careful with her. At last, he was willing to push her limits. That was what she wanted him to do. And she was certain she was ready. It was what she needed.

Soon they would be in New York, and return to the business world. But that wouldn’t make her feelings go away. Looking forward to what they could enjoy together as the days and weeks progressed excited her. And although Gianni didn’t open his heart, she knew he wanted her. That
had
to be enough. Leah hoped it was.

Chapter 5

In some ways nothing had changed for Leah. After a late night with Gianni once they landed in New York, she went home to her tiny apartment. She took a day to recover and get organized before going back to work.

Loneliness took hold, and Leah realized she was homesick. She had always been close to her family, and no matter how long she was on her own, she missed them. But it wasn’t practical to visit often.

She knew a call would be welcome, as her family would want to know she had arrived safely. Her younger sister, Aubrey, lived at home while studying theater arts at a community college in Portland. She was three years younger than Leah, and two years younger than Jena, the middle sister.

Leah felt motherly toward her youngest sister. Although Aubrey had been dating for years, she still felt protective toward her. Texting kept them in touch, but both of them were busy. Leah didn’t talk to her sister often enough.

Her other sister, Jena, wasn’t in Portland. Since graduating from college, she had decided to take some time off for travel, and had recently flown to Greece. Leah wasn’t sure when she would be back, but emailed, and had received a trickle of news about the trip.

It was Aubrey who answered the call. “Leah, it’s good to hear from you. How was Amsterdam?”

“So beautiful. I took pictures. I’ll email them when I get a chance.”

“Yes, do. That would be great,” Aubrey said. “You sound good.”

“Maybe a bit jetlagged, but good otherwise.” It was nice to hear her sister’s perky voice. “And how are you?”

“Fine.”

Leah imagined her sister as she spoke. It had been months since she had seen her, but didn’t think she would have changed much in that short time. Aubrey was a beauty, with her blond hair and delicate features. Plus, she had gotten their mother’s blue eyes.

“Are you dating anyone?” Leah said.

The hesitation was telling. “Yes, and he’s an amazing guy. But I’ll tell you all about it when you visit.”

Leah knew she could talk for hours with either one of her sisters, and clearly, the details of Aubrey’s current romance would take more than a few minutes.

“And how’s Gianni?”

Just hearing his name warmed Leah’s heart. “Things are good. We had such a great time. I’ll share more when I see you. I don’t know if we are forever, but we will see.”

“Mama is doing pretty well,” Aubrey said. “She’s sleeping now, but you could call later. Since the surgery she has gotten stronger, and you’d hardly know the cancer ever existed.”

That was what they all wanted to think. Leah thought it best to leave it at that, and not share any concerns about the return of the disease. “And how’s Dad?”

“Oh, you know, he works hard. I guess he has to. But the bakery is doing well. The downtown establishments seem to be thriving.”

That was good to hear. For as long as she could remember, her father had risen before dawn each day to go to the bakery. Although he had help, some items took special talent to create. Leah loved his marionberry croissants. Her mouth watered for the black juicy fruit.

Leah chatted for a few more minutes, and her sister filled her in on all the things happening in Portland. Her update about mutual friends was welcome. And Aubrey was particularly animated when talking about theater. “I think I might specialize in costuming,” she said. “What I’ve worked on recently has turned out well. Maybe I have a knack for it.”

“Well, you used to dress us up, all three of us. I know we still have pictures of the costumes you had us in.”

Her sister laughed. “I remember. Both you and Jena were good sports about it. Now I am so much better at it.”

When they ended the call, Leah felt good knowing that her sister was doing well. She could hear it in her voice. Whoever she was dating was probably good for her. Plus, Aubrey had always come to life around theater. Finally, she could carve out a career to follow her passion.

Maybe Leah could arrange a visit soon. Somehow she would fit it in. She’d check with Jena about when she would be back. Possibly, the three of them could be together again. Each of the sisters was different in many ways. But they would always be close.

It made Leah wonder about Gianni. He had a big family, and she knew he cared about them. It wasn’t that he didn’t have love in his heart. Maybe he just didn’t have it for her. That was a horrible thought. She pushed it aside, knowing it would only depress her to think more about it.

*****

Leah’s fears that Gianni would drift away from her once they were back in New York were unfounded. Although he worked as much as ever, he still made time for her. She looked forward to those evenings more and more.

When on her own, Leah focused on her work. She was easily lost in the intricacies of marketing for a large company. But her skill was improving rapidly, and she was proud of her accomplishments. Amsterdam had fueled new ideas, as she knew it would. But she hadn’t heard any more from Mason.

Vadim was his usual annoying self, but there hadn’t been any incidents since her return. There was little trust between them, so Leah kept an eye on her boss. It was stressful to work in an environment where she had to watch her back all the time. But she had no other choice until she had accrued enough experience to go elsewhere.

She met with Kyra a couple of times a week. And there was Pilates, too. It kept her going, and offered relief from her pressured career. One day, they decided to splurge for lunch at one of the pricier establishments in Manhattan.

They ordered crab salad and white wine, then settled into the posh restaurant to catch up, even though it had only been days since they had spoken. Kyra wore a sleeveless blouse and skinny jeans, and was as fashionably attractive as ever. She looked refreshed, not tired, as Leah was used to seeing her.

“I’m getting more sleep,” Kyra said, and took a sip of wine. “I’m not seeing anyone right now. Nobody steady, anyway.”

“But you’re dating?”

She shrugged. “Sure, but it’s casual. Not the same guy all the time. It suits me for now.”

“You look better…more rested.” Leah tasted her crab.

Kyra poked at her lettuce. “You and Gianni are still okay?”

That was a good question, and Leah wasn’t sure she had the answer. “I guess.”

Her friend looked across at her. “Details, please.”

Leah sighed. “Well, it is good with us. Really good, actually. That’s sort of the problem.”

“You’re afraid it will end?”

“I can’t help it. I’ve become attached, and I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t see him anymore.” Leah shuffled the vegetables around in her bowl. “It’s more than that though.”

“Yes?”

“I’ve changed. I really have.” Leah sighed. “I dress differently. Gianni takes me shopping, and buys me clothes that he thinks look good on me. I resisted at first, but it just sort of starting happening anyway.”

Kyra waved her wineglass as she spoke. “That’s not all bad. What girl doesn’t need more clothes?”

“Maybe I’m making too much out of it. But I just…sometimes I don’t know how to deal with it.” She paused. “He’s in charge, in our relationship, sexually…everything.”

Kyra didn’t say anything, but Leah felt like she understood.

“I have to wonder if I’m giving up too much. Will I still be myself?” She laughed softly. “I know that sounds crazy. But if I wear what he wants, act like he wants, and I’m at his mercy in the bedroom…”

“I see where this is going,” Kyra said. “I can totally see how you feel. But if it works for you…”

“I’ve never wanted a man like I want Gianni. Even if he is bad for me, I don’t think I can walk away.” Leah lifted her glass and balanced it in the air. “I can’t leave. I don’t want to. He’s…everything I need.”

“It seems like it,” Kyra said. “I wouldn’t worry so much. Who’s to say how a relationship should be? Look at me. I date the regular guys, or so I think. And they end up hurting me.”

“I know what you mean.” Leah really hoped that stopped happening to her friend. “That’s the thing. Gianni is so good to me. He treats me well, and seems interested in how I feel. It’s me, I know. I’m just not sure I’ll handle everything well.” She thought for a moment. “I might let him down. And myself too.”

Kyra ate a few bites of salad, looking thoughtful.

“He’s just so…sexy. And handsome,” Leah said.

“Don’t forget wealthy,” Kyra said though a bite of lettuce.

“Can’t forget wealthy. And he is just…powerful. In the bedroom and out.” Leah frowned. “What if I’m consumed by him? Shouldn’t I have my own identity?”

Kyra smiled. “You
do
have your own identity. You’re over-thinking this. It’s
you
Gianni is obviously sweet on, whether he admits it or not.” She waved her fork to make a point. “You’ll always be
you
. That’s something you can’t lose.”

Her friend’s words were reassuring, although Leah had her doubts. “Okay, I get that, I suppose.” She hesitated. “It will be fine. I’ll
make
it be fine. Gianni is too perfect for this not to work out.”

Kyra nodded. “Exactly,” she said, and then waved at the waitress. “We need more wine.”

Leah tried to put aside her concerns. Talking had helped, and her friend’s wisdom had brightened her view of the relationship. Of course, she hadn’t told Kyra the intimate details of what she did with Gianni, or how submissive she was.

She had talked about it with Gianni, and he had assured her that her sexual desires were nothing to be ashamed of. Preferences were just that, a choice. Leah was getting to know what hers were, that’s all. And she wasn’t alone. He was there with her.

That was true. But Leah wondered if even Gianni understood how it felt to submit, to give power to another so completely. To trust
that
much. He seemed to. But then he was the one dominating. How could he know how she really felt?

If they were committed to each other, it might be different. As it was, Leah gave herself to him, both her heart and her body. She was vulnerable, and she knew it. Gianni was not. Not in the same way. It was a risk for her, and a big one at that.

But Leah could see no other way. She needed Gianni, both the man and the sex he offered. No matter the outcome, she would see it through. She thought of a line from one of her favorite poems by Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

“How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I love thee to the depth and breadth and height

My soul can reach…”

Leah realized something she had really known for a while. She loved Gianni, even if he didn’t love her back. Her heart would have to be big enough for both of them. Her love was strong, and could bind them together in a very real way. A surge of confidence boosted her spirits.

She didn’t need to tell him, knowing he wasn’t ready to hear it. It would be her secret. But it provided a lifeline Leah could cling to. It wasn’t easy to face the sexual urges she had repressed for so long, and now, to admit her feelings for the man who satisfied her. But then, on both counts, her life was richer for it.
