Some people think that love is like passion
, or like falling a long way down. Love is like a lot of things. Maybe it’s different for everyone. For us, love was knowing that we’d found that person that we were meant to walk this life with. When I met Charles, I knew that the reason my life had seemed so hard, so empty before was because I hadn’t known him. In that second I connected eyes with him across that room, and he smiled at me… I thought, this is why life has been so hard… because I didn’t have this man to walk through life with me.

Now as I looked at this man whom I’d made a life with, who I’d made a home with, had a child with… I couldn’t help thinking how lucky I was. I’d never felt so complete in my life.
I reached up to caress his beautiful face, looking deep into his eyes. For a second, it was as if I were looking at him from across that room again, and for a second, time ceased to exist, and all that was and all that would ever be… was us, forever. I smiled into his eyes as I placed my lips on his, planning to lose myself in his touch, again.
