Jake stood there peering at me avidly, biting on his lip. His erection peeking through the band of his pants. He had a satisfied look on his face as he wiped my juices from around his mouth. He stuck the finger he used to penetrate me in his mouth and smirked, and with a low satisfactorily hum, he asked, “You okay?”

“Yeah, I’m fine. I just, uh, I never. That never happened to me before.” I replied.

“Really?” He responded coquettishly. “Glad you came for me, baby.” He joked.

I sat up and pulled him toward me and once again he invaded my mouth. “Taste yourself?” He joked and I smiled against his lips. “You’re so gross. Just shut up and fuck me!” I replied, pulling down his pants and springing him free.

He pulled me off the table assertively, spun me around and bent me over, pinning my head down with one hand as the other travelled down my spine. My skin tingled and my pores raised instantly. His fingertips brushed lightly over my rear and down to my intimate opening.

He leaned over me, his lips to my ear. He swept my hair to the other side and pressed his lips against the back of my neck, all the while fingering me. “I’ll be back.” He whispered.

“Where are you going?” I frowned.

“To get a condom. Don’t move.” He nibbled at my ear just before exiting the room.

He came back in less than a minute with the condom pack in his hand and made his way behind me. He ripped open the pack with his teeth, placed it on top of his erected head and pulled it down its shaft.

Without warning, he stuck the tip in and slammed hard into me, making my body jerk. I yelped with the unexpected force.

He wrapped his hands around my hair and pulled hard, forcing me to arch my back and feel the fullness of his body. I felt his pulse inside me and I was so ready.

He began to fuck me hard from behind. Rigid strokes. In and out. Gripping and slapping on the cheeks of my ass as he continued his torturous movements. I hissed in satisfaction as my groans grew louder. He knew just what I liked.

He eventually cupped my breasts and sucked on my neck. Sweat dripping from his hair and running down my smooth back. I kept moaning and calling him out. I was so out of breath. It was so painful, yet so damn pleasurable all at once. I wanted him to stop, yet I wanted him to continue.

He carried on, thrusting himself into me and after one last hard thrust and a low hum, he stopped and I began to feel a strong pulse as he released. He collapsed onto my back.

We stayed like that for a while; his head on my back and his hands on my breasts, our bodies sticky and warm. He then pulled out and I faced him. He threw himself back into his chair and relaxed, exhaling heavily as his head reclined. His sweat slick hair stuck to his forehead as he removed the condom. “Now that was amazing!” I panted, my legs feeling like jelly and the aftermath cramping ensuing, making me feel slightly uncomfortable.

He passed his hands through his hair, slicking it back. “Amazing is an understatement, you … You wanna stay with me tonight?” I hopped off the table, my knees almost buckling, as he redressed.

“Uh, I don’t think that’s a good idea. How am I gonna get to school. Pull up with you in your Prius?” He chuckled. I began dressing as well, finally finding the strength to do so.

“Alright, fine. When’s your birthday, again?”

And with that question, it dawned on me, we hardly knew each other. I mean yeah, sure we talked a lot, but apart from that what the hell did I know? I don’t know anything about his past except for Lena, and he only mentioned one other ex in passing. I agreed to be with him and allowed him the chance to see me in the most intimate way and it’s only been less than twenty-four hours.
Am I fucking insane?
And as my worries were evident on my face, I could see the apprehension on his. It reminded me of Heath.
Holy shit, Heath! What the fuck am I doing? Wait, calm down… Heath isn’t into you! But he must be worried! I never told him where I was. Shit! I didn’t even check my phone. He is going to lose it!

“Reese?” Jake’s brows were raised.

“Huh?” I snapped back to reality.

“What’s wrong?”

“I’m sorry, nothing.” I bent my head. He cupped my chin and tipped my head back, meeting my gaze.
This man really loves eye contact, doesn’t he?

“Come on, I told you one thing I love is good communication. Talk to me.”

“That’s it, I don’t know you other than what you told me about you. It’s been less than twenty-four hours and we’re in a relationship? And fucking each other’s brains out. This is madness!”

“Reese, calm down. It’s not like we’re strangers. We’ve talked over the past year.”

“Still, that’s no excuse! I don’t want to get hurt, Jake.”

“Reese!
Lena
cheated on me, do you really think
I’m
the type to hurt anyone?”

“Look at you. Everywhere you go, girls fawn over you. You’re fucking gorgeous! Why me?”

“You think I care about all that? I’m not Andrews, why not you?” I paused, my glassy eyes securely locked to his, tears pooling in them. Unable to speak, I felt a lump forming in my throat. “Look, I’m a man that knows what he wants, and I want you. I used to flirt with you for fun and you always brushed it off, you’re above all that. I can tell you genuinely appreciate a good personality and I guarantee I won’t disappoint.”

“You mean that?” I said in almost a whisper.

“Swear on my life.” He placed his palm on his chest. “Come here. He pulled me in. His chin resting on the top of my head as he wrapped his arms around me, stroking my hair. He then kissed me on the forehead and held me at an arm’s length. “Are you going to be okay now?”

I nodded my head and wiped away the tears that escaped, and smiled. “Thank you.”

“No, thank you.” He smirked. “After, I finish my work, I’ll take you out, wherever you wanna go and then drop you home. Cool?”

“Sure. I’m gonna go take a shower now.” I told him and he nodded.

After a long relaxing bath, I slipped on my dress. I stared at my face in the mirror of Jake’s bathroom and pulled my bottom lip into my mouth. I took an eyeliner out of my clutch and reapplied it, wrapped my hair into a messy bun and placed my earrings on my ears; hoops on top, stud below, on either side.

Buzz! Buzz!
My phone was vibrating like a maniac in my clutch. I pulled it out to see Heath trying to call - again. I couldn’t answer him, I didn’t know what to say, so I ignored it.
Whoa!
67 missed calls, 11 voicemails and 89 messages on WhatsApp and Facebook.
I totally fucked up! He is going to have my ass!

“Reese?” Jake knocked on the door, startling me in the process.

“Yeah.” I responded, sticking my phone back into my clutch.

“You ready?” He asked.

“Yep, coming.”

Heath was clad in a pair of plaid trouser and a Tee, sitting on the sofa in the living room, his phone pressed against his ear as he pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. Just then, Caroline came downstairs dressed in gym shorts and a vest humming to herself, suddenly stopping when she noticed him. “Seriously Heath?” She grumbled.

“What? Seriously What, Carr?” He shot an angry stare at her.

“I can’t believe you’re doing this.” She stomped towards the refrigerator, got out her bottle of Minute Maid orange juice and slammed the door shut.

“Doing what? What exactly am I doing that you can’t believe? That I’m worried about my best friend and I would like to ensure her safety?”

“It’s not even that, you know.”

“Then what is it?” He got up from the sofa and placed his hand on his hips.

“Forget it, you don’t even see it. It doesn’t fucking matter.” She took a swig of her orange juice.

“What? Your yabbering is like that of a lunatic. Ya fucking mad at me, because I am worried about Reese.”

“She is a big girl, Heath! She doesn’t need your protection or for you to worry.” She slammed her juice onto the breakfast bar and sat on the stool.

“Carr, she isn’t home. She didn’t tell me that she was going out.” He said running his hands through his hair.

“She doesn’t have to tell you these things, Heath. What about that don’t you get?”

“Carr, while I respect all that you’re saying, that’s the bond we share…”

“Ya, know what…I hate the bond you share! This is why we need our own place. Why are you still here with her? You should be with me. We couldn’t even enjoy our time last night because all you’re concerned with is her. This is…”

“Carr, you are a mad cunt right now. You are being bloody unreasonable and I am not in the mood.”

“Not in the mood, huh? Well… when you’re in the ‘mood’ for me, maybe then you can call me!” She hopped off the stool, grabbed her car keys off the counter and stormed out the house. Heath held onto his head in exasperation and yelled out. He then redialled my number and called my phone, only for it go to voicemail again. He flung the phone onto the sofa and plopped back down. His eyes darting back and forth and his mind far.

I swung open the door of the bathroom to see Jake admiring his “Adolescence” Salvador Dali painting across the room. His hands deep in the pockets of his dark blue jeans. He had on a beige cardigan and brown dress shoes. He momentarily glanced at the brown Cartier watch on his wrist. “Jake?” He spun around towards me. His dark, brooding stare almost relaxed and admiring. “What?” I blushed.

“You’re gorgeous.” He replied, making me blush even harder.

Jake led me inside his garage downstairs and removed the cover off of the car inside, revealing a black Aston Martin DB9.
Wow!

“Wow.” I breathed. He opened the door to my side and I got in.

We cruised down the road, past Kings Mall. “Where you wanna go.” He glanced over at me, his fingers wrapped around the sleek steering wheel, while his other hand rested on top of the gear lever. “Somewhere simple, relaxed. What do you suggest?” I looked over at him, placing my hand on top of his. He then splayed his fingers for me to take hold.

“Personally, I’m a hotdog kinda guy.” He glanced over at me with a cheeky grin on his face. “And I know where we could get the best hotdogs in town.”

“Hotdogs it is then.” My smile wider than ever.

I stared at him as his stretched arm gripped firmly on the steering wheel, his eyes intense and his jaw tight, his other hand still firmly clasping mine. He had the look of a no non-sense kind of guy, but it was just that – a look. I loved how down-to-earth he was. And yet again, he could tell that my eyes were on him, he turned his head to me, glancing between the road and me with an entertained look on his face. “What?” He smirked.

“Nothing, you’re beautiful.” I teased.

“Ah, shut up, Reese.”
Oh my God! He blushed! Jake Cavanaugh blushed!

He pulled up at a botanical garden in West End Park where a couple of families were gathered around picnicking on the fresh lawn. Some kids were running around flying kites while others were playing in the playground. There were a couple of street vendors in the area.

Jake held onto my hand as he made his way up to a hotdog vendor. “Jake, won’t people from school see us?” I whispered. He scratched his head, an annoyed look flashed across his face and he let my hand go.

The air was cool and smelt like a mixture of fresh pine and street foods. It was so different from the other side of town. Here seemed more like the suburbs of the Stepford Wives.

“Charlie.” Jake beamed.

“Jake? Jake Cavanaugh?” The plump man with beady eyes and red hair asked elatedly. “Say it isn’t so. What are you doing on this side of the town?”

“Came to get me some of the best hotdogs around.” He joked. “This is my friend, Reese.” He introduced me.
Friend?
“Give her whatever her heart’s desire.”

“Hi.” I gave Charlie a small wave and a half-smile.

After we got our orders, Jake and I sat at one of the brown picnic tables. He wasn’t lying about the hotdogs, they were awesome. We talked for what seemed like hours, about random stuff. I told him funny stories from my childhood while he told me about working at Cave Ink. It was pretty calm and ordinary compared to the night before and I enjoyed it.

Jake pulled up in front of my house. Heath peeped through the curtains and saw me getting out of his car, luckily it wasn’t the recognizable Prius so he didn’t know who it was.

When I came through the door his eyes were wide. “Reesie?” He couldn’t hide his astonishment, and he looked angry. I froze, heels in my hand, trying to think of what to say, so I just asked, “Where’s Caroline?”

“She’s not here, Reese.” I seriously have never seen him this angry before. Usually when he’s angry he would shut down, but not now – he looked like he wanted to explode. “Where in the bloody hell have you been?”

“Out.” I began to head for the stairs but he darted in front of me.

“Reese?” And there it was, the apprehensive look that made him look so cute. He couldn’t compare to Jake, but it had a serious effect on me. I pursed my lips and inhaled deeply.
