Rome traced her lips with his fingertips, his eyes following the movement before lifting to pin her with a fierce gleam that radiated to his soul. “You mean the secret that I love you?”

She was such a girl. At the confession she felt her lips curve hard and wide. Stupid tears burned the backs of her eyes. “Yeah?”

“Yeah. Just like I know you love me.”

Her mouth dropped. “How did you know that?” She squawked. Love wasn’t a scent!

His grin would brightened the darkest of days. “You just told me.”

“Oh. You.” She reached out and twisted the skin above his hard pectoral muscle.

“Ow. Hey. What was that for?” He asked with faux confusion.

“For being a beast.”

“That might be.” He nipped at her lips. “But I’m your beast.”

She felt him grow hard and thick inside her and she raised her brows to look at him in shock. “Again? Rome, I have to work in the morning.”

He was already moving, a gentle slide of his body through hers, creating a delicious friction that sparked a flame of desire from one stroke to the next. “I’ll talk to your boss,” he said, leaning down to kiss her. “I’m pretty sure I can get you the morning off.”

Gwen chuckled and wrapped her legs around his waist, letting Rome take her for another wild ride, thinking how wonderful it was to be the mate of the boss’s son.
