“Well he is very busy,” the woman said. “He will be unavailable for at least an hour. What exactly is it that you want to see him about.”

“Umm…, it’s a personal matter,” Brittany replied, suddenly feeling all the more foolish for what she was doing.

“OK,” the woman said. “Well like I say, it will be at least an hour before he is free. You are welcome to wait, but I’ve no idea if he will be able to spare the time to see you. He is a busy man.”

Brittany considered what to do. Being elsewhere seemed like a good idea, but she reasoned she’d come this far and another hour didn’t seem too long a wait for a chance to see the billionaire. “I’ll wait,” she finally said. She turned to look as the woman behind the desk pointed towards a small coffee table and some chairs in the corner of the reception area. Moving across to them, she sat and picked up a magazine from the table to flick through it. The next hour seemed to drag. Brittany finally gave up reading the magazines and just looked around. People came, people went, but there was no sign of the one man she wanted to see. As the hour turned to an hour-and-a-half, she finally decided she was wasting her time. Standing up, she moved across to the reception desk and was about to ask how she could go about arranging a meeting with the billionaire at another time when she heard the laughter. She turned to look and saw Ashton Cooper walking across the reception area with a couple of other men. They moved across to the elevators and stood chatting as they waited for it to arrive, Mr. Cooper shaking the men’s hands and bidding them farewell as they finally stepped into the elevator and disappeared from sight.

He then walked towards the reception desk and Brittany just stared. The billionaire’s muscular frame was impressive and he appeared to be well over 6 foot tall, certainly towering over Brittany’s petite 5 foot 3 inch frame. His blonde hair was swept into a smart side parting and it gave him a handsome look, the cool blue eyes adding to his appeal.

“Any messages Sally?” he asked the woman behind the reception desk when he reached it.

“Only a couple,” Sally answered. “I left the details on your desk.”

“OK, thanks,” Mr. Cooper said and turned to leave.

“You also have a visitor,” the woman said and as Mr. Cooper turned back the woman pointed at Brittany who was still standing next to the reception desk.

The billionaire frowned and stepped up to her. “Is there something I can do for you?” he asked.

“Well…” the teenage girl started hesitantly. “I wondered if I could have five minutes of your time.”

“For what?” he went on.

“I wanted to discuss something private with you,” Brittany went on. The billionaire looked at his watch and then back at the teenage girl. She thought he was about to say he was too busy, but was surprised when he agreed to speak to her and led the way along to his office. He moved to sit in a comfortable looking executive chair behind the large desk that dominated the room and motioned Brittany to take the seat opposite. He looked at his watch again and it seemed a pointed gesture to show that he was busy.

“So what can I do for you?” he asked.

“My name is Brittany Murphy,” she started. “You know my father, he…”

“You’re John Murphy’s daughter?” Mr. Cooper cut in. Brittany nodded her head. “Does he know you are here?” the billionaire went on.

Brittany shook her head in answer to the second question. “He probably wouldn’t be happy if he knew I was, but I needed to come and see you. I guess you are aware of his difficulties in paying back the loan. I just wondered if there was anything you could do to help him.”

Mr. Cooper frowned again. “Like what?” he asked.

Brittany sat silently. “I don’t really know,” she finally answered, “but if something doesn’t give, I think it will end up in the break-up of my parents marriage. They spend their days constantly arguing about money and life at home is becoming unbearable.”

It was Mr. Cooper’s turn to sit quietly. “I’m sorry to hear that,” he finally said. “But I’m not really a charity. I made the loan to your father in good faith and would expect him to pay it back in full. It’s nothing personal, just business.”

“Oh,” was all that Brittany could think to say and she suddenly felt helpless. “I guess I wasted my time coming to speak to you then. I won’t waste any more of your day.” She moved to get up out of the chair, but stopped as the billionaire went on.

“Don’t be so hasty,” he said. “If your father can’t help himself, maybe there is something that you can do to help him.”

“Me?” the teenage girl exclaimed. “I’m just a college girl, it’s not like I have a pile of money stashed under my bed that I can give you to pay off a loan.”

Mr. Cooper stood up and moved around the desk, standing behind the chair that Brittany was sitting on. “Money isn’t the only way to pay off a loan,” the billionaire said. “A pretty young thing like you has so much more to offer.”

The hands suddenly caressing onto Brittany’s shoulders made her shudder and her nerves kicked in. She didn’t need to be a genius to work out what Mr. Cooper was talking about, but wasn’t sure it was something she wanted to give. The question played on her lips though and she finally gave in to temptation and asked. “What exactly are you talking about?” she asked. The teenage girl shuddered again as fingertips stroked up her neck and caressed onto her earlobe.

“Let’s just say that for a night of your time, your father might find that he owes me less than he thought he did,” Mr. Cooper went on.

Brittany suddenly felt shy and stood up, moving a little away from the chair so that she was out of reach of the billionaire’s touch. She looked at him and saw the smile on his face. “I’m…, I’m not sure,” were the only words that came to mind and she again felt foolish for having come to see him. It appeared that his preference in women extended to teenage girls and that he would happily use the problems of a business colleague to his advantage.

“OK,” Mr. Cooper said. “I’m not putting any pressure on you and it’s entirely your call if you want to help your father.” He reached to his desk and grabbed a business card. “If you change your mind, you can get me on my private number.” The billionaire picked up a pen and circled the correct number on the card then held it out to Brittany. She stood looking at it, finally stretching out her hand and taking it.

“I better go,” she said and moved over to the door of the room. When she turned back the billionaire was already sitting at his desk again. She quickly left, riding the elevator to the ground floor and leaving the building. She could feel herself shaking as she walked along the street and the sensation didn’t pass until she was almost home. The meeting had been brief and to the point and there was no doubt what the billionaire was asking for. The thought of spending a night with him to pay off her father’s loan seemed tacky to Brittany, but she couldn’t suppress the slight sense of excitement that welled up at the thought of doing it. Her initial instinct though was to turn down the offer, but as she walked through the door of her home she found that events had taken a turn that changed her mind.

Walking into the kitchen, Brittany found her father sitting in a familiar pose, with his head in his hands. “Oh hey Dad,” she said. “How are you?” He didn’t say a word, but the expression on her father’s face told her that he was far from OK. “What is it?” she asked, suddenly nervous.

“It’s your mother,” he answered.

“What about her?” Brittany went on, her nervousness turning to fear as she waited for the answer.

“She…, decided to go and stay with a friend for a while, so she won’t be around,” her father said quietly.

“Oh dad…” the teenage girl groaned in despair. “When is she coming back?” Her father shrugged his shoulders and it became clear that he knew as much about what was happening as Brittany did. She went across and hugged him, her mind suddenly made up that when she went to her bedroom she would call Ashton Cooper. She chatted with her father a little more about what happened and it appeared that after another vicious argument, her mother walked out saying that she needed some time to think about the future. It was a sign that her parent’s marriage was at breaking point and Brittany knew she had to make the call to the billionaire. She finally made her excuses and went upstairs to her bedroom. Taking the business card from her pocket, she toyed with it, her fingers hovering over the keys of her phone as she drew up the nerve to make the call. She finally started dialing, but it took a few attempts before she hit the last key and made the connection. The call was answered quickly.

“Hi, Ashton Cooper speaking,” the voice on the other end of the line said.

“Umm…, hi,” she started. “This is Brittany…,”

“… Murphy,” Mr. Cooper finished. “I didn’t really expect to hear from you, certainly not this soon. So what can I do for you?”

“I need to see you again,” she went on. “Can we meet?”

“Sure. I’m actually just about to go to a business dinner, but will be finished by around ten. I’m staying at the Beverly Hotel tonight. Would you be able to meet me there at say 10.30?” Brittany suddenly hesitated, wondering what she was getting herself into. “Hello,” the voice on the other end of the line went on when the silence continued.

“Sure, I can meet you there,” the teen girl suddenly blurted out. “What room?”

“Suite 207,” the answer came back and Brittany hung up the phone. She looked at the clock on the wall and saw that it was just after six. It gave her plenty of time to get ready and she started with a long soak in the bath. As she dried herself, the teenage girl wondered what to wear. From what she knew the Beverly hotel was fairly exclusive and she didn’t want to look out of place. Walking to her wardrobe she flicked through her clothes, finally opting for a simple white blouse and black skirt combination. She took them out and placed them on the bed, deciding to start with her makeup. It didn’t take long, with some light pink eye shadow bringing out the prettiness of her eyes and a little red lipstick showing off her lips. Moving to a small cabinet, she searched through the top drawer for some nice underwear, finally settling on some silky light blue panties and a matching bra. The teen girl pulled them on and then went to put on the skirt and top. It was the most dressed up she’d been in a while and as she admired the look in the mirror, she was surprised to see just how sexy it made her feel. Looking at her watch she saw that it was almost 7.30 and wondered what to do for the next three hours. Not wanting to sit around the house, she decided to go for a drink, hoping it might give her a little Dutch courage.

Moving down the stairs, Brittany shouted to her father that she was going to meet some friends and was quick to leave before he replied. She made her way to town and went to a quiet bar she knew, sitting in a booth and nursing a glass of wine. The minutes and hours passed slowly and by the time she saw it was past ten, Brittany had got through a couple of glasses of wine. She finally left the bar and walked the short distance to the Beverly hotel, taking a few deep breaths before stepping through the doors. She was a little intimidated by the expensive surroundings, but walked across to a seat in the reception area and waited for the time to hit 10.30. When it did she got up and moved to the elevators, making her way to the top floor of the hotel and along the hallway to stand in front of Suite 207.

Last chance to back out she thought as she stood with her hand raised ready to knock. Before she lost her nerve completely, Brittany rapped her knuckles on the door and waited. She jumped a little as the door swung open and she saw the smiling face of Ashton Cooper. The tight vest he was wearing showed the muscles below and the teenage girl couldn’t stop the slight shudder that suddenly took hold as her sense of anticipation at what was about to take place grew.

“Come on in,” the billionaire said, moving to the side to let Brittany past. He closed the door and turned to follow the teenage girl into the large room. “Have a seat,” he went on, pointing towards a sofa. “Would you like a drink?”

Brittany felt a little light headed from the wine, but decided another drink couldn’t harm. “Sure,” she answered and watched as the billionaire stepped across to a table with an ice bucket sitting on it. He poured a couple of glasses of champagne and moving back across the room, handed one to the teenage girl. She expected him to sit beside her, but instead he moved across to sit on the edge of the bed.

“So?” he asked. “Why did you call?”
