“We’re going to have to go back to the city in the next few
days,” he said, pulling her out of her thoughts.

“Will we be coming back?” she asked.

“How would you feel to be working on a farm?”

She gazed up his body, and his shaft thickened as she washed
him.
“Where?”

“The land over from this one,” he said.

“The farmer who was killed on his land?” she asked.

Damon nodded his head. “The club and the city life are no
longer for me,” he said.

“What about your
reputation,
and
what will Don think?”

She loved the thought of moving away from the city. The idea
of stripping off her clothes held no appeal, or worse, fucking every man that
wanted her. She was Damon’s woman, and no other man would see her naked. Not
even at Don Michael’s orders.

“I’m tired of my reputation, Penny. I don’t want to be in
the thick of the fighting. I’ve done everything to show my loyalty. I love you,
and moving out to this farm is the right move. I know it is.” He sounded so
adamant.

“I’d move wherever you want to move to. There is nothing for
me in the city. I don’t want to strip for anyone but you.”

“Then why were you training?”

Penny couldn’t control the blush that filled her cheeks. “I
was trying to gain your attention. I wouldn’t dance for anyone else or fuck
anyone else. I love you, Damon.”

She stood rinsing his body off with the bath water.

“I’m so pleased to hear that, Princess. I thought I’d have
to kill every man who saw you naked.”

She chuckled. “Not for me.” Penny kissed his lips.

He moved out of the bath grabbing two towels from the hand
rail. Damon wrapped one around his waist then around her before helping her
out. They walked into their bedroom hand in hand.

Penny thought about Laura’s words. The world wasn’t an awful
place when she had hope. Damon pulled her against him, and they tackled each
other to the bed. He lifted her over his body seating her over his cock. She
felt him pulse against her core. The thick length of him pressed against her
pussy. They’d made love twice, and she wanted him again.

“Will this ever stop?” she asked.

“What?”

“This need I feel inside. Every time we make love I feel
it’s not enough. I want you again and again. I can’t get enough of you.”

She watched him reach down between his thighs grabbing his
shaft. He pressed the tip inside and thrust to the hilt. She cried out. The
angle took him deeper than she’d ever felt.

“I can’t get enough of you either.”

He cupped her ass, his fingers squeezing her flesh. She
moaned as he lifted her body him and then slammed her down. Penny gasped when
she felt him hitting her core deep inside.

“This feels different,” she said, closing her eyes.

Penny leaned her head back relishing the feel of him. It was
like he possessed her soul from the depths of her cunt.

“Do you feel me?” he asked.

“Yes.” She gasped as he bounced her on his cock. She
screamed when his fingers slid along her clit. Her body was sensitive to every
touch he made.

Damon worked her until she was begging him to let her
orgasm. He held her at the peak but didn’t let her go over. Her eyes were still
closed as he turned her to her back under him.

Her eyes opened to stare into his. They were no longer
guarded. She saw the love he felt for her. Penny recognised it in her own
feelings. He lifted her thighs over his shoulders and plunged inside her.

“Look at us, Penny.”

She lifted to her elbows and watched his glistening cock
disappear inside her body. The sight made her splinter apart in his arms.

“That’s right, baby. Come for me. Let me feel you give me
yourself.”

Penny came apart under his onslaught. There was nothing for
her to do other than ride the wave of pleasure and give him everything.

Damon threw her into another orgasm. She screamed unable to
stop herself. She didn’t know if anyone else would hear her cries of pleasure.
In that moment, she didn’t care what they heard.

“I love you,” he said. His body tightened, and she felt the
kick of his cock as he reached his climax. He lay down over her, his cock
buried inside her to the hilt.

She felt each jet of his semen as it pulsed in her. Penny
stroked his back and hair loving the weight of him on her body.

She felt close to him.

Chapter
Nineteen

Over the next couple of days Damon filled his days with
working the fields and training Penny. She wanted to protect herself. He knew
there would never come a time when she was in a situation where she’d need to.
He understood her desires and so spent a few hours each day training her.
Several times those training sessions ended up with his cock inside her body.
The most tantalising experience of all had been when she went to her knees
behind the shed. Penny had sucked his cock all the way to the back of her
throat.

She liked sucking his shaft. On a few mornings he’d woken to
her lips around his cock bringing him to orgasm before he got chance to do
anything other than submit to her wanton mouth. The love he felt for her was
able to be let loose in the country. He watched Laura and George together. Despite
the threat of Grimes and their dire situation, the couple still looked happy in
love. Witnessing the couple together gave Damon hope.

Penny was his world, and he’d do everything for her. He stared
at her across the field. She was hanging out washing as he unearthed some
potatoes. Edward worked close by to him. Pearce had agreed to keep the other
two away in order for him to have a chance to speak to the younger man. It was
still early morning. He glanced behind him to see Pearce taking the men farther
afield.

“She’s a lucky lady having a man like you around,” Edward
said.

Damon glanced at the younger man. He nodded his head. The
idea was not to show too much interest in what Edward had to say. He had no
wish to scare the young man.

“I’m lucky to have her. Not many men can have love in this
world.” Damon threw a potato into the sack. Edward looked sad.

“No, love is not for this world.”

Damon wiped the sweat from his brow. His arms ached from all
the extra labour. Working in the city at the sex club had made him weak. The
hours he’d spent training for a fight had been hard work. Watching a bunch of
men get hard for naked girls had made him unfit.

“Doesn’t mean you can’t have it,” Damon said.

“What do you mean?”

“I’m more interested in the future. There is a chance for
all of us to have a life. We all want a good life and one we can sustain.
Looking back does no one any good.” Damon let his words sink in before going
back to the potatoes.

“I see what you mean,” Edward said.

Seconds passed. “
Are you wanting
it
to stay like this?” Damon asked.

Edward shook his head.

“Well, you’re going to have to fight for what you want. No
one else is going to do it for you. I know what I, Pearce, and Don
want
. What do you wish for?”

He watched the younger man. Edward stared in the direction
of the other two men. Pearce had them inspecting some kind of plant. George was
helping out as well.

“You got to make a choice, son,” Damon said. He gave it a
few seconds and then started digging.

Edward cleared his throat.

“What’s the matter?” Damon asked.

“Grimes
has
a plan,” Edward said.
The younger man licked his lips looking nervously around him. “I was told not
to tell you, but I can’t do it. I want a world where I can go home to a wife and
kids. Being here and seeing George with his woman has been a wakeup call. I
don’t like killing people.”

“What’s going to happen?” Damon asked.

“Grimes has his area convinced you and the other area
leaders are going to kill him and his people. He’s been recruiting men to kill.
He has a secret bunker where they’re all training. They have weapons and are
working to keep them running.”

“Are you telling me Grimes is starting a war?”

Edward nodded. “He’s taken Tristan Kendrick’s land. I don’t
know what happened to the leader. No one has ever heard from him since his
family were killed.”

Damon glanced behind him at Pearce. This information he
hadn’t expected. His gaze moved to Penny.

“The attacks on the farms were his first wave, right?” Damon
asked.

“He says without food you’ll be weak.”

“What were you and the others supposed to do?” Damon turned
to the other man. A plan formed in his mind. The farmers were the weakest spot.
Don had most of his recruits and men in the city protecting them. The farms had
been set up along the edge of the city. The men before them had wanted them
close but far enough away from the centre of each main area. Damon imagined all
four areas had their farms near the borders. Living in the centre of the city
was vital for trying to fix or mend the city. Don wanted to make his city worth
living in. Damon could understand that. Looking at the farms, there was not
enough area of land for the people living in the city. His leader had hope that
they would be able to repair what had once been broken

Edward had tears in his eyes. “We were the ones responsible
for doing that other farmer. We stole the food and escorted it back to Grimes.
He’s using it as proof that you’re doing better than we are, and that is what
is making the men willing to fight. He’d convinced them we could have slaves
doing all the work.”

“When is this attack supposed to happen?” Damon asked.

“In a matter of weeks, but we haven’t reported back. They
might come sooner looking for us.”

“Shit, I need to get to Don.”

He gained the other men’s attention. Pearce brought the
other men over to the shed. Damon locked them inside the shed and made Edward
tell the others the plan.

“Shit, fucking shit. I knew that bastard was a crazy fuck.
What are you going to do, Damon?” Pearce asked.

“Is there enough sunlight to get me back home?”

Pearce looked at the sky and did some calculations. “If you
floor it you will.”

“Great. I need you to stay here. We don’t know what is going
to happen. If you see signs of Grimes then get the fuck out of here. Hide out,
or go and alert the other farmers. Whatever happens we need to get Don and the
other men here.”

“Then you’re going to need this,” Pearce said, handing him a
key.

Damon looked at the keys in confusion.

“You’re going to need a lot more jeeps to get the people up
here. If you bring Don and his men it is going to show leadership. It is the
only thing they’ll listen to. Don knows I’ve been storing the jeeps around the
city when I finished making them. It is time to take them out for a test drive,”
Pearce said.

“I thought you only had one of these jeeps?”

“I lied. I take it you’re taking Penny with you?”

“Yes, we’re leaving right away. I can leave you to handle
everything.”

Pearce nodded and then turned to the other two. Damon left
him to it. He was the best man to be in charge.

“What’s going on?” Penny asked. He caught her hand leading
her out to the front of the house. Damon lifted her up into the jeep. “Damon,
what is going on?” she asked again.

He waited until they were on the road travelling towards the
city.

“Grimes
is
planning a war, a flat
out war with every area. He intends to take full control. This is what they
tried to avoid before.”

“The reason you started fighting?”

“Yes. The farmers were the first step. They’re taking out our
food in order to get us to weaken. We’re loyal to Don and would fight back.”

Damon cursed. He should have seen it sooner. He’d known
something else was going to happen.

“What are we going to do?” she asked.

“We’re going to the apartment first. By then it will be close
to sunset. We’ll get everything we need to pack up and drive to the club. By
the time we get to the club it’ll be nightfall. Tomorrow we’ll head back out.”

He turned onto the main road. Penny had to grab onto the bar
above their heads. The roads had too many potholes in it. Damon tried to avoid
the potholes.

“What do you think Don is going to do?” she asked.

“I don’t know. Hopefully what he does best.”

“Which is?”

“Lead.”

She grew silent, and Damon was thankful. The sun glared down
on them. Penny handed him a drink in a plastic bottle that Laura had made for
them. He took a sip at the liquid and stared at the sun. The day passed with
him driving. He stopped once for them to walk out the kinks in their legs and
relieve themselves.
