“Boss, I’ve been putting the little money
back so that the count doesn’t come up short because I don’t want
nothing to happen to lil homie,” he said.

“Bray you may leave.”

“But Boss”

Before he could finish his sentence I said to
him one more time, “You may leave!”

That time I knew he got the picture because
he jumped out of his seat then turned to leave quietly. Who did he
think he was fooling? I know that he hates the lil homie. Ever
since I told him that he was becoming too cocky and flashy it has
been a problem. I could tell he wasn’t feeling it when I told him
that he was drawing to much attention to the GMB but I didn’t care.
It was time to move the team around again so when I rearranged my
street team he didn’t get a demotion, he got a promotion.

I had Infamous put one of our young runners
over Bray’s spots and had Bray do the pickups. After that is when
he started the shade. Since he couldn’t get to me he channeled his
rage towards Roe. He used to always say that I showed favoritism to
Roe but what he failed to realize was that Roe was the weed
connect. Why the hell would he be stealing from his damn self? Roe
is a very significant member in the organization. The only reason
that he even picked up money for Roe is so that I could have it
washed and cleaned up for him. He wasn’t hurting for money and he
damn sure don’t have to steal.

The minute he walked out I called Infamous
and told him to put the watchers on Bray. In this business you can
never be too careful. See what nobody knows is that I have mini
cameras set up in different places at each of the stash houses.
Each trap contains twenty-five bricks there at a time. Nothing more
nothing less unless it’s sold. I placed those cameras there to keep
the family safe but at the same time to watch my money. That’s not
all; I also have a team for backup set up right across the street
from each stash house that they know nothing about.

Those teams are the clean-up crews. They are
put in place to monitor the spots, stay on top of police, and kill
if and when needed. The teams are made up of men and women who have
went AWOL, either injured or were kicked off the force from the
Navy, Army, Marines, and even a couple of black listed contract
killers with all kinds of skills are on the payroll. Those are the
ones who served our country but can’t catch a break since they were
discarded like trash for a mistake. I provide them with great pay
and benefits through my security company called A-List security and
for their families stability they give me their loyalty. I find a
way to make sure everyone eats.

Each of my members are set up in different
parts of Dallas. From Oak Cliff to Cedar Hill and all the way to
Tyler. That’s not where the hustle ends though. We serve Texas and
a few other states down south. To know me and to be in my inner
circle means that you are a part of the family; a family that is
built on loyalty and respect. I sat back in my chair sipping some
Hennessey as I continued to think about this situation that was
brought before me and I was left boggled because I will never
understand the greed in people.

All he had to do is pick up the money, count
it and drop it off. He still gets paid as the others do and he had
less responsibility. If you ask me he’s the one winning. The reason
things have ran so smoothly all these years is because nothing
stays the same and my team is made up of solid people. We have rode
for each other for a long time so there was no way that I would
allow this snake to put a rift in the team. I could hear the hiss
of his tongue a mile away.

The only reason Bray even got on is because
his cousin Jude vouched for him. Jude is my man’s so I had to run
this situation by him before I made any moves. Jude said he had
been seeing a change in Bray too long before now and had spoken
with him about it. Although Bray is Jude’s cousin that didn’t mean
shit. Jude said that where he is from family can get it too if the
trust and loyalty is breeched.

I guess Bray missed being in the limelight
and felt that now would be the perfect time to get it back. As I
zoned back into reality I smiled while he fought with all his might
to keep me from getting to his hand. After watching him for a
moment I lost control to my inner being then my eyes glazed over,
my face twisted, my breathing changed and Legend had become no
more.

“Shit!” Bray said when he noticed that Dark
had officially taken over for Legend.

With fire in my eyes and the devil whispering
in my ear I reached for his hand and poured the acid right in the
middle of it. It was always funny to see the look of terror on my
victim’s faces and I couldn’t help but to laugh with delight as the
acid melted through his skin and bone. Now that there was pure
comedy to me. Bray let out a scream so loud that if we weren’t in a
sound proof room, people miles and miles away would have heard
him.

After all the screaming that he did to no
avail, he started shaking and trying to pass out. I slapped his
face a few times and had the lil homie Roe dash him with water.

“Nah, nigga you got to stay woke for this,” I
said.

Bray opened his mouth and tried to speak but
I grabbed his face then pour acid down his throat before he could
make a sound.

“Speak no evil nigga.”

His eyes rolled to the back of his head so I
poured acid in them too.

“See no evil.”

I then grabbed his head and poured acid in
both ears.

“Hear no evil.”

I looked around at the team and they were all
still leaning on the wall chilling as if nothing happened. I
laughed at the sight of the scene before me then blinked twice and
that’s when the change happened again and Legend returned.

“Get him to the crematory and clean this mess
up,” I said as I was taking off the kill suit that Infamous
provided me with.

When I turned to head out Jude looked at
Infamous and whispered, “You know when Dark surfaces, there will be
more bloodshed before he fully returns.”

“I look forward to it,” Infamous replied.

I walked right out of the mortuary and got in
my 2010 Rolls Royce Phantom. True enough, I have a whole fleet of
exotic cars but this here is my baby. My Phantom was the first car
that I bought once I graduated from college and my fortune
five-hundred company took off. My baby is cocaine white with
cocaine interior and I love it. When I ride in her I feel a sense
of accomplishment because I started from the bottom but now I’m
here.

In case you didn’t know I am Legendary
Hendrix, a twenty-eight year old multi-millionaire. I was born and
raised in South Dallas, TX and I never would have imagined that I
would be getting it like this. I was born to hustle baby, it’s in
my blood. My mom was a booster who then turned to credit cards. For
years she ran the biggest identity theft ring that the feds had
ever got wind of. She is one of the lucky ones who was able to walk
away free and retire from it all so she stayed on my back to do the
same.

My mom said she had a plan and she stuck to
it so when she hit her mark she could walk away. When I asked her
why did she choose to go that route in life she simply stated that
she did what she had to do to take care of me and Infamous since
our father was never around. My mom said not to blame him because
he had no choice and if he could be with us then he would. She can
save that because there is no way that I was trying to hear
anything she said to take up for that man. He abandoned his family
and that’s all there is to it.

Infamous protected me as if I were his son
and for that I will forever be my brother’s keeper. Infamous is the
oldest by three years and people say that we look just alike. The
only thing that sets us apart is the skin tone and Infamous is
slightly taller. I stand six feet three inches and my skin is
caramel brown. My eyes are dark gray and I wear my hair in a low
cut with the tight fade. I make sure to keep my beard and mustache
trimmed neatly and that seems to drive the ladies wild.

When I talk or smile you can see my dimples.
My mom said that the ladies love the dimples but to me it is just
small dents in my cheeks. I’m not studying no ladies or the drama
that come with them right now because I have had more than enough
to last me three lifetimes. I’m just waiting patiently on the right
woman to come along.

I keep a very low profile and you would never
know what I do or how I do it unless you are in my circle. It seems
that this brain that I have been blessed with never stops working.
I had to learn to meditate just to give it a break. While I’m
thinking I’m hustling and while I’m hustling I’m thinking. I
graduated from Princeton University with a M.P.A. (Master of Public
Affairs). I worked hard for my three point eight G.P.A. My mission
was to get out the hood and make it big. College is where I met the
other top members of GMB. We all have a hand in legal activities
but two feet planted in the streets. My team is uniquely made up of
lawyers, doctors, engineers and accountants. Again you will never
know who we are and what we do unless you know us.

After driving around helplessly I decided to
go ahead and stop at the store so that I can get what I need to
clear my head. I exited the freeway and pulled in at the Kwik Mart
that is located in the north off of Skillman and Audelia to get me
some cigars. I don’t usually smoke but after a kill I do so that I
can try and calm the yearning for blood that has built up in my
gut. I never wanted to be a killer but I find myself enjoying the
kill more and more each time it happens. The only thing that really
bothers me is afterwards I have a craving feeling for the kill.
It’s as if something has been awakened inside and only more
bloodshed can put it to sleep.

It was nice outside so I took off my brown
Polo jacket and placed it on the hook in the back. Today I was
dressed down in my green Ralph Lauren Polo shirt and some dark
denim Polo jeans. On my feet I have on a pair of high top Polo
boots with the Polo socks to match. Before I could open the door to
step out of my car, the most gorgeous woman that I had ever seen
walked by. For a moment I was lost and could only stare. I had to
shake my head at myself because no woman has ever had that effect
on me.

She had on some peach looking high waist
pants with a cream mid top and some cream with peach red bottom
heels. She has the sexiest body I have ever seen and when she
turned to go into the store that ass grabbed all my attention. Oh
my, that ass was right. She walked as if she was ripping the run
way and her hips swayed seductively with each step. I had to gather
my composure then adjust my pants before I exited and walked in the
store.

When I walked in the store it smelled of
stale cigars and incents. The cashier sat behind the register and
eyed everyone who came in as if he thought they were going to
steal. I walked over to the ice machine to get some ice and that’s
when I saw her.

“Damn!” she whispered.

She probably thought I didn’t hear her but
with me being me, I heard her. I slowly walked over to her and
spoke,

“Hello beautiful, my name is Legend.

“Hello Legend, I am Trutice,” she said.

“I think you are beautiful and would like to
know if it will be okay to if I could take you out sometimes,” I
said

She blushed then batted her eyes at me then
said, “I think I may can arrange that.”

“Where is your phone? I will give you my
number and you call me whenever you are ready.”

She handed the phone over to me and I
programmed my number in it then handed it back. She looked down at
the number for a few moments as if she was programming it in her
mind. I smiled at her because I liked that. She pressed talk then
my phone rang in my pocket.

She said, “Now you have my number as well so
neither one of us have a reason to be strangers.”

I smiled again so hard that I know she could
see all of my pearly whites and said, “I like how you move
beautiful.”

I grabbed her hand, placed a soft kiss on the
back of it and walked off.

“Hello, may I have a box of cigars?” I
asked.

“Sure sir, do you need anything else?” the
cashier asked in return.

“No that will be all.”

The cashier looked around me then bent down
to whisper, “I’ve seen that one around before and she never speaks
to the guys who hit on her. That one is a great catch so treat her
right.”

“I will do that,” I said while smiling.

I laid a hundred dollar bill on the counter
and said, “That’s enough for both of our items. Give her what she
wants and you keep the change,” then I walked out.

When I reached the outside of the store it
was a few dudes standing at the end of the building eyeballing my
car kind of hard. I smiled on the inside because I had a feeling
that these fools thought that they may have had an easy lick.
Little did they know was Dark was idling inside just waiting for a
chance to appear. I nodded my head to them in recognition as I
turned my back on them and unlocked the door. I knew they were
coming. I could feel it plus I could see the three walk up through
the glass. I turned around to face them with blood red eyes. There
was no need to grab my four five off of my hip because I knew they
were scared. I can see it in their eyes. I wonder do they know the
devil when they see him. Obviously not!

“What’s up, you youngsters look like y’all
want some trouble,” I said.

The ring leader stepped up and said, “Nah, we
don’t want no trouble but we do want your car so if trouble come
with it then it is what it is.”

My eyes turned a dark black and I could feel
myself leaving. A few moments later I started laughing
uncontrollably and said, “You fuck boys have ten seconds to save
your lives so don’t let it go to waste.”
