She threw her head back and cried out in ecstasy. His body pressed against her from behind, enveloping her. One hand gripped her breast firmly, sliding against her sweating, slick skin as the other hand held her swollen mound, his fingers slowly sweeping into her tunnel.

Rhythmically, his fingers worked her as he whispered in her ear.

She was lost in his seduction—eyes closed, his voice guiding her as if she were trying to find her way through the forest on a pitch black night.

“Yes, Kallie,” he said, into her ear. “Let me fuck you the way I want to fuck you.

I’m so hard for you, right now. Do you feel me against you ass, spreading your cheeks while I spread your pussy with my fingers?”

She was past speaking or even nodding. She simply let him tell her what to do and what he wanted from her.

His hand gripped one breast and then the other, tweaking her nipples, rubbing them between his fingers and then grabbing her breasts again, while his other hand continued to delve inside her pussy. Soon, he was also massaging her clit.

Kallie was panting, knowing that soon she would explode into her climax.

And that’s when he stopped.

“Good,” he said. “We’re done here.” He abruptly released her and she felt cold and alone, opening her eyes, blinking into the bright lights of the basement.

“What? What do you mean?” she said, her voice betraying her frustration.

“We’re done? Just like that?”

He began turning the crank and the pulley system engaged itself, and the chain holding her arms up grew slack. Soon, she was standing with her arms down in front of her, hands cuffed like a prisoner in a jail cell.

Hunter came before her and unbuckled them, briefly massaging her wrists, which were red from where the restrains had bound them.

“Just like that,” he said, smiling. He started for the stairs.

“No, that’s not fair,” she said.

He turned, his smile fading. “What do you mean, not fair?”

“You said that I’d come. I didn’t come. You purposely stopped right when I was about to. I don’t know why you did that.”

“I stopped when it was time to stop,” he told her. “That’s all.”

“That’s bullshit.”

He laughed, shrugging. “Whatever you say.”

“Maybe you’re the one who’s afraid,” she said, as he started up the stairs. “I think you knew that I was brave and I did everything you asked, and so you chickened out!”

She heard his footsteps halt. Slowly, he came back down, his eyes blazing. His chest was heaving, and his arms seemed larger than just a moment before. “Is that what you think?” he asked quietly.

“I don’t know why you did that to me. I just know that you promised me something.”

“Okay, then.” He grinned. “Sometimes you have to get used to disappointment.”

She was naked, but for her panties, and emotionally stripped bare. The look in his eyes was suddenly so cold and uncaring that she burst into tears. She sunk to her knees.

That was when he came toward her, kneeling down and taking her head in his hands. “Look at me, Kallie,” he said.

When she met his gaze, he leaned in and kissed her deeply and passionately. A moment later, they were wrapped in each other’s arms, and he was kissing down her neck and licking the salt and sweat from her breasts.

His hands caressed her body with firm intensity. He continued kissing and licking down her body, licking her belly, and then her legs opened up for him as he suddenly slid her panties down her thighs and past her ankles.

Hunter’s head dipped down, and he licked up the slit of her opening before sucking her throbbing clit.

Kallie came unexpectedly, her hips bucking up and down.

When she’d finished her climax, Hunter unzipped his fly and reached inside his boxers.

A moment later, his erection was out and he was on top of her. His bodyweight pressing down, she was reminded of that night in his bed, the way he’d made love to her—she’d been fantasizing about that ever since.

“Take me,” she moaned. “Take me, Hunter. Please.”

There was a look of deep concentration on his face as he maneuvered his cock directly against her swollen, dripping entrance. She spread her legs wider and opened for him, opened herself as far as she possibly could.

The head of his cock pushed against her slit, spreading it, pushing past all layers of her trembling flesh. She came again as he pushed deep inside her.

“Kallie,” he whispered in her ear. He was still fully clothed, and as she wrapped her arms around his muscular torso, clutching his back, she could feel his heart pounding against hers.

“I’m so wet for you,” she told him.

“I can feel you.” He looked into her eyes as he pushed in and then slid out, in and out.

His hips pounded against her pelvis, up and down, and her buttocks slapped the basement floor.

The reverberations felt like magic, felt like waves of ecstasy, and she was coming again as his urgent thrusts grew more and more powerful.

Soon he was slamming against her, spreading her open and filling her up—and then he drew out of her.

“Take me in your mouth,” he commanded.

Greedily, she sat up and took Hunter’s manhood into her mouth. She was flooded by a salty taste, but she sucked it down with relish. She thought to herself that he tasted amazing, and clean, and perfect.

Even as it finished, she was wishing for more. More of him.

“Do you want to have a shower?” he asked her.

She nodded, unsure of what to say or do, now that their lovemaking was over.

“That’s probably a good idea,” she said, “if I’m going to go with you to the hospital.

Luckily, my clothes are mostly dry. But I don’t think I’ll be getting back into my panties right now.”

Hunter smiled a little, nodded and turned away as she gathered her clothes.

“Come upstairs, to the second floor. I’ll get you a towel and a robe.”

He started up the stairs and Kallie followed behind him. She felt weak and tired, and more than a little confused.

What were the rules now? Had they suddenly reverted back to some sort of pseudo-professional relationship? Were they pretending that the activities in the dungeon never happened?

She didn’t know, but for now, she didn’t really need to know.

Hunter brought her to a large, immaculate bathroom with a large soaking tub and a separate standing shower. “You can take a bath or a shower, whatever you prefer,” he said.

He left momentarily and came back with a large white robe and white towel.

“These are for you,” he said.

“Thanks.” She didn’t know what else to say.

“I’ll be downstairs, in the other shower,” he said. “See you in a little bit.”

“Okay.” She smiled bashfully, feeling her cheeks flush again.

Hunter left the bathroom and she heard his footsteps receding. Kallie couldn’t believe how awkward it suddenly was between them. Was it her, was it him? Was it both of them?

Shaking her head, she ran the bath, testing the water for the temperature that she most preferred. Eventually, the water got high and warm enough, and she slid into the tub, letting the water continue to run as she laid her head back and relaxed.

Soaking in the tub, Kallie relived the episode that had taken place in Hunter’s basement. Everything had happened so fast—from the time he’d caught her snooping around, to Kallie giving into his demands for obedience and submission—and now she was trying to reconstruct it and decide just how she felt about it all.

Even now, as she pictured her hands tied above her head, and the way he’d unsnapped her bra…her nipples tingled with remembered pleasure. It was as if his voice was still whispering in her ear, telling her to let go, telling her to trust him.

Breaking out of her reverie, Kallie washed up and then stepped out of the tub, toweling off and getting dressed again. For a brief moment, she considered how exciting it would be to go back downstairs with nothing on but the white robe he’d provided, and whether or not all that visible skin would incite Hunter to passion once more.

But she didn’t think they had the time for another go around, and she didn’t know if she could mentally take it, either.

When she came down, Hunter was dressed and waiting for her. He was wearing dark blue slacks, a white button-down shirt, and his hair was still damp from the shower.

The top two buttons of his shirt were open, and she could see the beginning of his broad chest expanding beneath.

“Refreshed?” he asked her.

“Yes,” she said, sounding formal to her own ears.

He watched her carefully. “Is something wrong?”

She shook her head no. “Everything’s fine.”

“Good.” He smiled and gestured to the door. “Shall we?”

“Is it time to go?”

Hunter checked his watch. “We’ve got enough time to get to the hospital, but I want to leave a little extra room in case we hit rush hour traffic.”

“Oh, yeah.” She smiled and started outside.

When they got inside Hunter’s car, he turned to her. “Are you okay to have a discussion about what happened between us today?”

She licked her lips. “You mean—what happened in the basement?”

“That’s exactly what I mean.”

“Of course. I’ll talk about anything you want,” she said. “But remember, you still have to answer my questions too.”

He grinned. “Believe me, I haven’t forgotten.” Hunter started the car and they zoomed out of the driveway and onto the road that led down the hillside. “So go ahead and ask away,” he told her.

She glanced at him. “Maybe I should hear what you have to say first.”

“A deal is a deal, Kallie. Ask me your questions. Better make them count.”

She didn’t know what he meant by that, but it unnerved her. He unnerved her, actually. Her brain was sluggish and her thoughts rambling. Kallie always had questions about him, but now that he was ready and waiting to answer, she couldn’t seem to conjure up anything worthwhile.

“Did you plan to tie me up like that?” she asked.

He smirked ever so slightly. “It wasn’t planned, exactly. But I certainly had hopes in that direction. And then you helped the cause by sneaking around my house.”

“I’m sorry about that.”

He glanced at her as they rounded a corner and sunlight flashed against the windshield. The sun was beginning to descend behind the trees and approach the horizon as evening approached. “No need to apologize, Kallie. As long as it doesn’t happen again, we’re fine.”

“It won’t.” She gathered herself. Somehow, he’d put her on the defensive yet again. She was supposed to be the one asking questions, and he was supposed to be on his heels. “Do you enjoy hurting women?” she asked, hoping to shock him.

He didn’t appear shocked, though. Instead, he reflected on her question, his brow furrowed. “No, I don’t like to hurt women. I don’t feel like I was hurting you earlier.

Did I hurt you, Kallie?”

“I’m the one asking the questions,” she smiled.

“We didn’t say I couldn’t ask questions as well,” he replied. “As long as I’m answering, I’m keeping my part of the deal. So, did I hurt you or not?”

“No, not really. At times there was a little discomfort.”

“But you enjoyed it, didn’t you?”

“So if you don’t do it to hurt anyone, then why do you do it?” she said.

“Why do I do what?”

“You know what I mean. Why do you tie women up and all that stuff?”

He didn’t answer for a little while. And then he simply said, “Without going into too much detail about my past—which we agreed was off the table—I’ll simply say that I discovered BDSM at a critical time in my life, and never looked back. In other words, I do it because I have to do it.”

“Well, that doesn’t make any sense to me,” she said. “That’s hardly an answer.”

“It’ll have to do.”

She crossed her arms and glared ahead at the road. “You’re not a very nice interview subject.”

“Most journalists aren’t. It’s kind of like how doctors make the worst patients.”

That made her smile. She looked at him and he grinned back at her.

Some of the tension dissipated. “So what did you want to talk to me about?” she asked him.

“I wanted to talk to you about my proposition to you. I want to know if you’re interested in continuing our relationship.”

“Yes, I’m interested,” she admitted slowly.

He smiled wider now. “Good. Then I have something for you.”

She looked at him, slightly afraid of what was coming.

He gestured to the glove compartment. “Open that up and take out the envelope.”

“Okay.” She opened the glove compartment. Inside, everything was neat and orderly and all of his papers, the owner’s manual, registration were stacked perfectly one on top of the other. She thought back to her old car and how messy her glove compartment had been in comparison.

She’d open her glove compartment and find napkins, old letters and invoices, pens, sticks of gum.

But not Hunter—everything was tidy and perfect. Everything was in its place, she thought. Just like how he wanted to manage her and put her in her place—and he intended to make sure she agreed to stay there. That much was clear.

Kallie took the envelope that sat on the top of the pile and withdrew it, examining it more closely. It said “For Kallie” on the outside in clean script, written in black ink.

“Should I open it now?” she asked him.

“If you’d like. I’m sure you’ll have questions.”

She stared at it, suddenly uneasy. Kallie had the distinct feeling that she wasn’t going to like what she found in the envelope. At the same time, there was no point in putting off the inevitable, so she slowly opened the flap and took out the sheet of paper folded inside.

It was folded in thirds. At first she assumed it was a letter, of course, until she opened it and found a neatly typed contract.
