Mary Quattlebaum is the author of several books for young readers, including
Jackson Jones and the Puddle of Thorns
, which won the Marguerite de Angeli Prize and a
Parenting
Reading Magic Award;
The Magic Squad and the Dog of Great Potential
, winner of the Sugarman Award; and most recently, the picture book
Aunt CeeCee, Aunt Belle, and Mama’s Surprise
