“You were with him when he took off, which way he went?”
“I don’t know, hold me Gudama, I need you.”

Strong sexual energy tempted Gudama to fall into lust. His heart beat in over drive as he fought himself to resist temptation. The urge was unlike anything he felt before. Sexual thoughts cycled rapidly in the screen of his mind. He drew nearer as he saw her exposed body waiting for him to experience. Just near the zone of danger, a flicker went off from the depths of Gudama’s soul. He felt calm, a gentle holy awakening of divine guidance revealing to him the reality behind the illusion.

“Do you remember what you said before, about those warm fuzzy feelings? At first I ignored it, forcing it away with will power, but now I realize it was much more,” Gudama said with bent arms sending the energy of love from his heart to her.
The expression on the girl’s face was that of confusion.

“You were right Layla, I did have mutual feelings,” he said looking down.

The woman’s eyes morphed into that of a reptile’s. Gudama then looked back with piercing eyes and a smirk, “and that is something, you’ll never understand.”

Shape shifting back, the monster screamed and flew at full force, but Gudama parried, flicking with his foot a sharp piece of wood from the debris which pierced Draco’s heart. He fell silent of the pain and crashed out through the window. Gudama leaped out to follow.

Free falling with Draco above him, Gudama twirled his arms around in a circular manner gathering energy. Sensing his attack, Draco opened his mouth wide and projected his deadly plasma breath. The beam drew near as Gudama was focusing his spirit within.

“Go to hell,” he said and with the roar of a dragon released his powerful Gitma Sun Beam, incinerating the Draco’s projectile upon collision

Soaring high above earth, the monster roared in agony as it felt its flesh disintegrating from the radiation of the blast. In orbit, Andy teleported outside of his ship and with a push of his arm sent an invisible shockwave completely obliterating the horned beast off the face of earth.

Lighting the skies, everyone watched the explosion high in space, cheering for the defeat of a hideous evil plague.

Unknown to Gudama, Layla slipped through Draco’s grip before their crash, screaming as she was helplessly falling a long way down. Guilt plagued him as he dwelled on the worst regarding Layla’s predicament.

Dust, rocks, and other rubble fell from the sky as Gudama pressed a button on his belt and flew through the debris. Bystanders saw him emerge from the smog and Gudama slowly floated in the middle of a crowd where much to his amazement, Layla was sighted. It was the same street where she first saw his global message.

Bystanders applauded Gudama as he descended down. Maneuvering around many people, his eyes met Layla’s through the crowd being taken away by an ambulance. Gudama quickly intervened halting them from leaving and ripped open the door, pulling Layla out.

“Gudama,” she said faintly.

Paramedics were performing an operation using minor surgery, disinfectants, and a gel to seal her wounds in an attempt to save her. Angry, Gudama intervened, demanding that they ceased their activity. Reasoning that Layla needed medical attention, Gudama shoved them away and ripped Layla out of the strap, placing her gently on the road.

Examining her wounds, Gudama took out a few materials from his utility belt. Using acupressure, Gudama directed Layla’s own body energy to heal itself, his hands moving so fast that paramedics were speechless by his performance. After finishing, he concentrated energy in his hand and placed it over Layla’s body. Through willpower he focused healing light into her and right before everyone’s eyes, Layla’s wounds miraculously healed as if nothing had happened at all. She got up in amazement embracing Gudama in a warm hug.

“You ok?” he asked.

“Yeah, you?” she said.

“Never been better,” replied Gudama smiling.

Seeing each other’s faces delighted them.

“How did you do that?” he asked.

“Do what?”

“Heal me, when you held me in your lap, I never felt that before…it was amazing.”

“I…don’t…know,” said Layla.

Andy was right she’s not a mere human, he thought.

Gudama smiled and simply took her in, hugging her to which made Layla shine inside.

“Thank you,” Gudama sincerely said in gratitude.

Both gazed at each other’s eyes looking into their soul. Layla’s bright bluish green eyes delighted Gudama’s sight. His smile, however faded as something plagued his consciousness.

“What is it?” asked Layla concerned.

Feeling bad for failing to prevent her fall, Gudama’s expression quickly morphed into that of guilt.

“I’m so sorry I let you fall…” Gudama said with his head down in shame, “I was blinded in rage.”

“Hey, you saved my life,” Layla said lifting his chin to meet her eyes making him feel better.

“I cannot be more grateful for your survival,” he said placing a hand on her face.

“Neither can I. Thank goodness for friends. We brought emergency rescue with us to cover the story. They were able to break my fall with a giant trampoline,” she explained, letting out some laughter. Turning towards her friends and the volunteers,

Gudama sincerely thanked them for their heroic efforts, Eric being among the bunch that tracked Layla’s position and notified emergency responders of her fall. Officers and rescue personnel smiled in acknowledgement, happy to have saved a precious life so dear to him while Layla’s secret admirer stood stone like as he watched her embrace another man.

Wrapping her arms around his neck, Layla smiled as she glowed in the light of joy.

“You healed me too,” she said smiling.
“Well…”

“And you defeated the monster. How do you do all these miracles?”

“Through spiritual energy and my notorious stubbornness,” he said jokingly.

Layla let out a bellow of laughter closing her eyes, leaning back as her mouth opened wide with her glistening teeth. Her complexion resembled a blissful rosy child’s as she shook her body to shake off the barrels of uncontainable joy.

Picking up her contagious bubbly personality, Gudama too joined in on the laughter.

“Heh, are you a god Gudama?” she asked smilingly.

Gudama merely smiled.

“I didn’t know you can fly.”

“Antigravity belt,” he said pointing to his waist, let’s me do the trick for a while, but it’s not the best for aerial combat,” he chuckled.

“Hey look, back to where it all began,” Layla said looking at the big screens on the building where she first saw his message.

“And where it all begins again,” Gudama said taking her in his arms. Electricity went up Layla’s legs and down her spine as her eyes locked on Gudama’s mesmerizing gaze. The crescent moon on his forehead seemed to add to the excitement and anticipation sweeping her off her feet. As he drew nearer, her neck was stiff, petrified from nervousness. With a caress of his hand through her hair Layla’s fright all seemed to vanish and like a snake wrapping around its mate, she yanked him closer giving herself completely in a warm loving kiss. Gudama was taken aback by the intensity of her passion.

“No need to wait anymore, God has already given you someone Gudama, I’m right here,” she said.

Gudama slightly nodded in acknowledgement and was pulled again by Layla for some more love.

On lookers whistled and cheered, and the sun couldn’t have been brighter bathing them with light.

While the crowd cheered celebrating their victory, Eric felt a sinking pit down his stomach at the sight of it.

Peace had been restored once again, and everyone was relieved to know that evil had finally come to an end. Over the next months, most of the damage had been cleaned, and although the economy suffered greatly, civilization continued with a new purpose and meaning as human beings had a new beginning.

Era of Gudama

Stepping out of her brand new black convertible, Layla met Gudama at his new secluded home. It had been three months since his epic battle with Draco, and now Gudama felt cozy after building his new mansion nestled in the heart of nature. He was waiting out in his spacious open back yard admiring the scenery.

“Hello handsome,” said Layla walking towards him.

Gudama smiled at the sight of her, “You look great,” he complemented.

Layla wore an exquisite white dress with heels.

“Love the shades,” he said.

“Yeah, makes me feel cooler driving that baby,” she said referring to the convertible.

“Oh yes, the car,” Gudama said taking notice.

“But I guess you don’t care for such material comforts right, because you’re Gudama, the great hero of earth,” she said teasingly flexing her muscles.

“Right, care for some berries?” he offered.

Walking through the garden, Gudama and Layla enjoyed some fruit, picking them fresh from nature. Inside, Layla flipped open her laptop clicking away.

“Alright, let’s talk marriage, I got it all figured out.”

“Oh put that away Layla, you know I don’t like those,” he said irritated from the screen’s mercury coated fluorescent light.

Layla showed Gudama her big plans for their wedding which was scheduled in three months.

Nodding his head, Gudama merely listened to her rambling letting her have her way for the big celebration. No one had been invited yet as they didn’t want a big show. Only Layla’s family and Andy were being considered to be attendees.

Bored of planning, Gudama caressed Layla’s shoulders, running his hands down her smooth silky skin. They embraced each other and extended their passion, sharing feelings while releasing pent up tension. Their intimacy grew stronger as Layla submitted herself completely in his arms. Gudama stroked her hair and massaged the back of her neck with a gentle hand.

Gazing at her eyes, he felt himself pulled into her and kissed Layla’s luscious lips while she began to undress his shirt. Slowly feeling the temperature rise from body heat, Gudama held her head in his palm while sweeping her off her feet on his sofa, running his other hand down her warm legs. He tickled her ear with small circular strokes. Layla giggled in pleasure and she enjoyed his playful stimulation. He then placed a hand on her lower back and rubbed, doubling her joy. Excitement grew, and as Gudama went forward for the next move, he felt something break in his fingers while his ears heard a cracking sound.

Oh no, he thought fearing for the worst.

Hesitantly, Gudama pulled back worried for her wellbeing swallowing saliva.

“What happened?” she said.

Gudama examined his hand and realized he crushed Layla’s earring. He felt relieved he didn’t crush her.

“Oops,” he said.

They both sat up and saw the broken earring.

Layla burst into laughter upon seeing it.

“I guess I don’t know my own strength,” he said holding what was left of it, “I’m so sorry.”

“That’s ok, just buy me a new one,” she said raising her eyebrows as if challenging.

“Ah sure, not a problem, what ah, what do you like?” he asked scratching his forehead.

“Mmm...Pearl, get me pearls, nice big beautiful shiny pearls,” she said happily.

“Blackmail huh?” Gudama said looking at the remains of her former earring.

“Yea, you crushed mine, so now get me better ones. I can’t walk down that aisle with one pearl can I?” she said putting on a puppy dog face blinkingly.

Taking a deep breath, Gudama’s head fell down.

Shopping overseas was not his thing, but Gudama in disguise, checked out a few gems the following day in the jewelry section at an expensive high end department store known for its mega rich customers. A young girl in her twenties greeted him and showed him their best pearls.

“How much is this one?” he asked upon inspection.

“Twelve thousand,” she said.

“What, no way, it’s not even real!” he said further examining it.

Not loving her job, the girl confessed.

“I know, you’re right, but I’m sorry sir, it’s the best we have,” she whispered.

“You’re a high end big brand store and sell this?”

Gudama let out a sigh, “I can’t give her this. I need a real one,” he said a little stressed.

“If you really want a pearl, go diving in the pacific. Latest geological news reports gems popping up under ocean ground after all the global catastrophes. Now is the season to find them,” she said.

Gudama’s eyebrows rose.

“I was a marine bio major,” she said in an Australian accent.

“Why’re you working here?”

“Can’t find work, it’s a tough economy,” she said with an unsatisfied expression.

Thinking, a crazy idea lit up in Gudama’s head.

“Would you like a new job?” he said leaning over the bullet proof glass counter.

The girl looked at Gudama in amazement recognizing him as he gave her a smile in return.

Together they both left to find a real pearl for Layla on a boat off the coast of Australia.

“Thank you so much Mr. Gudama this is a dream come true. I never thought I would meet you, let alone go treasure hunting,” she said enjoying the sun and the cool breeze playing with her brown hair. The boat was big and she loved driving it.

“Yeah, yeah, let’s just find this pearl eh? I got a deadline to meet,” he said looking around sea.

“Aye, aye, captain!” she said saluting him.

Hours flew by as Gudama, strapped with a camera and communication equipment dove deep down into dangerous sea levels repeatedly, bringing up whatever he could find while Sam, the girl, stayed behind providing backup and guidance. He collected several pounds of various precious gems throughout the Pacific Ocean ground. None of them however pleased Gudama, as he needed a pearl.

“Still no luck,” he said holding a large emerald.

He casually tossed it away, Sam dove to catch it.

“Are you crazy, what are you doing?” she said.

“I need a pearl.”

“Do you see this? These are worth a lot of money!” Sam retorted stashing the emerald in the bag filled with other different kinds of previously found gems.

“I’ve brought up whatever you told me, yet nothing. It seems we’re only grabbing what you find attractive,” he said disappointed.

“Nothing, look at this?” she said showing the gems.

He took a break while Sam counted the booty.

“Where else can we look?” Gudama asked.

“Well, there’s one area south from here, but I’ve heard it’s unsafe,” said Sam snacking on chips.

“Hey you’re with me, remember? Don’t worry about that. Let’s go, if there’s pearls, we’ll find it.”

Several miles away at ocean Gudama and Sam arrived at a spot outside of radar and sea traffic.

“Where did you hear about this place?”

“Well, actually I just heard stories. Legend says there’re exists untouched under water mines and scary sea monsters,” she said enthusiastically.

“What, you brought us all the way here on a myth?”

“It’s not a myth, it’s an adventure!”

Gudama sighed, “Whatever, there’d better be pearls. Ok, so how deep are we going?”

“Oh no, you need to suit up, you can’t just dive in, this is much deeper than before,” she warned.

“It’s ok Sam, I’ll be alright. Just tend the boat,”

Gudama said gesturing for her to relax.

Splashing underwater, Gudama swam down below to sea levels which no man nor machine have ever dared venture before. He turned on a light on his utility belt to see in the darkness and headed further down exploring the depths of underwater caverns.

Navigating around, he didn’t find his target, but stumbled onto an opening revealing an ancient ruin deep beneath the ocean floor.

“Sam, are you getting this?”

Communications didn’t seem to work, but Gudama continued onward. He checked his wristlet device which projected a mapped out holographic image of the area, but it didn’t provide much further insight. His eyes were amazed to find the array of amazing spectacles of structures hidden in this secret abyss. Although, he found it interesting, Gudama was focused on his priority. He didn’t see anything valuable until a particular clam like structure caught his eye.

Clams contain pearls, this is it, he thought.

The closer he swam to it, the more he realized its enormous size. The giant clam appeared to be fossilized as he examined it. Wrapped around it was sticky goo, but Gudama managed to pop it open sweeping away the slimy junk. Expecting to find his treasure, Gudama came up empty handed as all he found were ancient remains of the clam.

Venturing further, he found more fossilized clams and cracked them open only to find old carcasses.

There’s nothing, he thought.

Turning back, Gudama bumped into what felt like a massive tentacle. He looked around in both directions as he heard something move. Another clam became visible from the debris and fell to the floor.

Eh, why not, he thought?

Despite its smaller size, Gudama picked up the fossilized clam and opened it. Glistening inside were pearls like no other.

Wow, I hit the jackpot, he thought raising a fist.

Swimming faster than a sailfish, Gudama returned back to surface with his loot.

“Hey, I was worried about you, our communication got cut off!” Sam said leaning over the rail.

Gudama had a big smile on his face upon boarding.

“Any luck?” she asked noticing.

“I got it,” he said holding a pearl between his finger and thumb, it sparkled in the sun light.

“Wow, that’s incredible. I’ve never seen one like that before,” she said holding it up to magnifying glass.

“That’s because it’s genuine unlike any you’ll find,”

Gudama said proud of his catch.

“Fantastic job,” Sam said amazed high-fiving him. “What do you say we turn this baby around and head back eh?”

“Aye, aye captain,” she said impressed with his diving skills.

Their celebration was cut short when the boat rattled briefly, knocking over some items.

“Oh my God, what was that, earthquake?” Sam said holding on for dear life.

“No…something else,” said Gudama looking around suspiciously.

Both remained still anticipating something, but all was quite.

Submerging from the waters, two massive tentacles arose, Sam screaming on top of her lungs at the sight of them.

“Run!” Gudama yelled snapping her back.

Wiggling, the tentacles smashed the boat repeatedly like gigantic whiplashes, knocking over goods wreaking havoc. Sam narrowly avoided the strikes, curling against a corner petrified. One of tentacles was coming down at her hard.

“Move!” exclaimed Gudama grabbing her, dodging the oversized tentacle.

They barrel rolled inside the cabin, Gudama ending up on top of her.

“You alright?” he asked.

“Yea, thank you,” she said grateful.

Suddenly a tentacle whipped from behind wrapping around Gudama’s neck, dragging him on the floor to the end of the boat.

“Gudama,” Sam cried!

“Argh,” Gudama grunted, struggling to get loose.

Stomping with his feet, Gudama used his leg strength against the edge of the boat. He managed to pull himself a few meters, but another tentacle swept his legs tripping him and pulled him in. Gudama caught the edge with his hands and pushed resisting the force, but a massive arm double wrapped itself around his neck and hurled him under water.

“No, Gudama!” Sam shouted leaning from the edge, extending her open palm.

Deep below sea level, Gudama saw the perpetrator, a giant squid of humungous proportions reeling him in with its arms. Countering, Gudama went with the force and delivered a punishing punch using the pre-generated momentum to his advantage. He connected with another hit and broke free.

Leaping out of the ocean, Gudama re-boarded the boat shaking off water.

“Thank God, are you ok?” asked Sam.

“I’m fine. Let’s get out of here,” said Gudama.

“Don’t have to tell me twice,” said Sam scared.

They ran inside the cabin and up the stairs for the steering wheel, but another arm wrapped around Gudama’s ankle, dropping him down face first on a step. It pulled him with its suction while Gudama crawled and scratched to resist the force.

Sam quickly grabbed an emergency axe and began chopping away on the squid’s arm, blood gushing from each strike.
