His fingers played on her shoulder, “I have never said that before, honey. ‘Wealthy.’ But it’s the truth. I have a great client base, terrific employees, and we’re doing good. I was smart enough after the first five years to invest wisely, got in at the right times,” he grinned, “and OUT at the best times. I’m doing really, really good!”

“No kidding? Gosh, Tom, I never would have guessed.”

“You’re a real smart ass sometimes, you know. I’m trying to impress you here.” His hand roamed to her bottom and applied a swat.

She took his head in her hands and kissed him fully and deeply, her tongue sliding over his with promise. Breaking the kiss, “you impressed the hell out of me years ago, Mister Eldon,” she purred. “Now go on. I don’t have a dossier on you, you know.”

“Right.” He was silent for a moment before he continued.

“I married Beth when I was in my late twenties. She was the manager at my firm, a drop dead gorgeous, hard working gal and I fell for her. Beth continued working for a short time after we married. She eventually quit and focused on running the home, socializing, managing dinner parties for clients we entertained. She’d always wanted a family. When it became clear that I was infertile, she drifted away from me emotionally and eventually left.”

“Infertile? You?” Annik raised her head from his chest and looked at him with round questioning eyes.

“Yeah. I can’t have kids. Is that a problem? Let me know now, Annik. I can’t go through that again.”

“Well, no. It’s not. Well, not really. I mean, I’m in my thirties. That’s pretty old for a first pregnancy-” She looked at him and smiled, “It’s pretty early to start talking about a family anyway, isn’t it?”

“Maybe,” he looked away, “but maybe not. We didn’t find out until after we were married.” He chuckled sardonically. “The money I wasted on rubbers. But let me go on with the ‘Tom Saga', okay?” She nodded, and rested her head on his chest again.

“Anyway, I wasn't bitter. I knew how much it meant to her. We divorced. I gave her a lifelong interest in the business, which pays her a nice annual income. She married a couple of years after we split and now has three children. She's pretty happy, and I'm glad for her.

“Then I went for years working hard, but also playing hard when I needed a break. There were a series of women I dated, each briefly. It usually ended when they became serious, with plans on being in the second Mrs. Eldon.

“When I was in my forties, I met a girl who I fell for. Actually, she introduced me to non-vanilla sex. She was exotic and hot and together we explored the BDSM, D/s lifestyle. Marina was about twelve years younger than me and interested in living, the D/s lifestyle—not just as a sexual enhancement—but 24/7. She moved in with me and it worked well for a while, although it was a kind of a weird initially.”

“What do you mean, Tom?”

“Well, I do get a kick out of role playing. But… I don’t know… I need a partner, not a sub. Is that a problem?” He tilted her head up to look into her eyes.

“Hey, I couldn’t be submissive 24/7 either.” She smirked. “As if you didn’t already know that.”

“Yeah, I do. It was cool, kind of… but, I don’t know… it was limited, I guess. I mean it was hot. When I would come home from the office, she would rush to the door and kneel at my feet, waiting for her Master to direct her on his wishes. Any kinky thing I wished for was offered up, no questions.

“Well as I said that was fine at first, although my socializing with clients and senior staff had to drop off the cliff. It was a bit awkward as Marina never left the sub role, not even for my career. Actually, it became a bit tedious and boring for me.”

“Kind of one sided?”

“Yeah. Which is ironic as hell…”

“What do you mean?” She raised her head and looked at him.

“Well, us guy types fantasize about a woman who says ‘Do what you want to me’.”

“I know—I make a great living at that. But go on…”

“Yeah. Well, I think women have a different take. I’m not positive about this, okay? But I think women want to say ‘Do what I want you to do to me’. Does that make sense?”

“Sure. I think you just described the battle of the sexes in the bedroom.” She ran her fingers through the hair on his chest. “I love fulfilling your desires, Tom. I don’t want that to stop, okay? But…” she looked up at him, “I want… well… I’ve fantasized about… you doing what I want you to do to me also. I love it when you desire me. That’s a turn on. But yes, I’d love you to want to please my body,” she tapped his chest, “as much as I desire to please your body too…”

“Sure. That sounds a lot healthier to me, a give and take sort of thing.”

“Yes! And it’s best when I can’t figure it out, and I don’t care—”

“Who’s giving and who’s taking.”

“Yes. Exactly.” She was getting aroused, but she wanted to hear the rest of this tale. “Now go on, Tom. I’m all ears.”

“There’s more than ears to you, baby,” He caressed her. “Anyway, it started going sideways when I found myself spending more time at the office, kind of to avoid the relationship at home.

“Marina sensed my alienation and then I saw a side of her that wasn't so compliant. She’d taken pictures of us when we played. Me in the Dom leather fetwear, replete with whips, chains, needle play—her kink, not mine—with Marina decked out with bruises, blood, looking very much the abused victim. And then there was the age difference. I looked like a dirty old rich guy taking advantage of a young woman.

“Long story short, she threatened to spread the pictures around, to my colleagues, clients and even the Toronto Sun newspaper. I panicked and called my kid sister, the lawyer. It was embarrassing as hell telling Bonnie about my lifestyle. But she loves me and came to my rescue. Essentially, what we ended up doing was paying a substantial sum of money to Marina, as long as she agreed to sign a gag order. If she broke the confidentiality she would be a ruined woman. Do you have any idea how vicious Contempt of Court penalties can be if you violate a gag agreement? At any rate, the settlement was enough to satisfy her and make her go away.”

He continued. “So that’s pretty well it. After my Marina experience, I felt it safer to employ Escorts, who I checked out, of course. That's why I had you investigated. I had to be sure. But…”

“But what?”

“With you, I had a much deeper look. You scared me.”

“What? You were always the one holding the flogger. Or the crop. Or the whip. What do you mean I scared you?”

“Not THAT way, and you know it.” He picked and fussed at the sheet. “The other way.”

“Go on,” She purred again, knowing what was coming—relishing in it the way a cat loves sitting in a sunny window.

He held his hand up. “One,” and flicked up a finger, “you’re stunningly beautiful. You could be a model.”

“I know. But that life would have taken me from Mamma, when she needed me nearby. I’m…” her voice hitched, “I was all she had.”

“I’m not surprised I’m not the first guy to tell you that. It’s nice to know why you didn’t follow up on it.” Still holding up his hand, he added, “and what you just said is what I figured. Anyway, two,” and a second finger stood up, “you’re one of the sharpest women I’ve ever talked with, in or out of the bedroom.”

“You think I’m smart! Thank God you haven’t talked to Jessica. She’s a genius.”

“She’s also with Craig and she’s not my type. You are.”

“Oh you have a type?”

“Soon as I met you I did.”

“Good save. Go on.”

“Three,” another finger popped. “Your… fortitude I guess. Your Mum got ill and you grabbed the first opportunity you had to take care of family.”

“It was pretty small by that point, Tom. Just the two of us.”

“Yeah, I know. But even so, you had limited options to make some really good money, right? And you took the opportunity that arose and became really good at your profession.”

“Profession? You mean that?”

He dropped his hand and held her shoulders. “Hey, this whole night came about because I teased you the same way I teased my lawyer, okay?” He leaned forward, “and he's as dear a friend to me as you are.” He stroked her shoulder. “Well, not quite as dear… So yeah, Profession.”

Her eyes glistened again. “Thank you. That means a lot.”

“Now where was I?”

“You were up to number four. How many more are there?”

“I can't remember the exact number. It's more than ten though.”

“What? I don't understand.” Had he really kept this kind of a list? Of her good points? That felt good.

He snickered. “I keep a diary. I wrote it all down after meeting you the first time. There're tons of pages in my diary--—mm…Journal is a more manly term—about you. But there are a lot more qualities about you, Angel.” He paused a moment. “Never used that term before…”

Her eyes opened wide. That was a name that she hadn’t been called in a long time.

“We’ve been together so many times Tom, but this is the first date for us. Thank you for opening up.”

“It's only fair. Don't get me wrong; there's a lot I still don’t know about you, Annik.”

They held each other silently for a long time before they drifted off to sleep, entangled together. After a few hours, she awoke and quietly crept into the bathroom. When she finished and returned to bed, he murmured her name and reached for her, welcoming her into his arms. Half asleep, he repeatedly thrust his pelvis into her thigh. Soon he was hard. Her mouth nuzzled into his neck as she reached down with her hand to stroke him. He murmured and moaned his arousal.

She threw the covers back and kneeling beside him, took his hard cock into her mouth. Stroking, then sucking him until his whole penis was wet. She took all of it into her mouth and throat.

He thrust into her, moaning with pleasure, repeating her name. She lovingly licked his testicles, taking them one at a time gently, between her lips. She returned to his cock, worshiping it with her tongue. He stiffened and gasped, crying her name before his orgasm shot into her throat. She timed his orgasm to her thrusts—he was as deep in her mouth as he could be when he erupted. She gladly, joyfully felt his come wash down her throat, greedy for him. Even after, her mouth continued to suck and relish his shaft, draining and swallowing every drop into her belly, until he softened. She drew her head back, and with butterfly kisses, honored his penis.

She raised herself to lie beside him and once more, they fell asleep, dreaming of each other.

Chapter 15

Annik opened her eyes and smiled. She was alone in the bed. Tom must have risen earlier. She sat up and looked around their bedroom in the morning light. It was seven thirty AM. Her cheeks felt fat from the intensity of her smile.

Wait a second. This was the morning after, and she was smiling? Not afraid? Not hesitant? She was cheerful this morning? Cheerful?

She hugged herself, welcoming back the feeling like a forgotten friend. She loved Tom and he loved her right back. Her cheeks almost hurt.

What a night. The drama at the restaurant had ended with a boyfriend. Not since university—oh God more than ten years.

Finally, hearing his story. He has a sister. What was she like? He’s had some bad luck with women. No wonder he hired investigators. His attraction was so strong, he had to protect himself. She snickered—you know a guy’s into you when he hires a private eye.

He called her ‘Angel’. It had been so long since she was called that.

What did Kim at the bank say? She had to find herself an angel investor? If you only knew Kim. If you could see me now. Tom would give her all the help she needed to make Pandora’s her own. He would be her partner. And this was just the beginning…

“I’m in love with you, Tom Eldon, and I’ve been in love with you for a long time, sir.” She whispered.

The duvet and bed were so warm and comforting. Just a few more minutes and she would get up.

The bedroom door opened with a snick and he entered. A tray of coffee and toast were set on the night table with a soft clack.

“Rise and shine, Buttercup. I believe you have an appointment at eleven today with an important businessman. You better get up and look sharp for that.”

“Good morning. Thanks for the toast and coffee. That’s nice.”

He climbed into the other side of the bed.

“I’m an early riser. You’re going to have to get used to that.”

“Not a problem. I usually am too. But you have to know, it was a long day for me yesterday.” She took the coffee he passed to her, sipped and looked at him. “Double double? How did you-”

“My investigator is thorough.” He smiled.

“I’m going to run along soon if you don’t mind, Annik. There are a couple of things at the office, I want to look into before my eleven o’clock. You take your time, get dressed and I’ll see you then. Is that okay?”

“Sure, I have time to pop home before I see you. I’d kind of like to shower, change my clothes. Got to make a good impression you know. After all, I’m seeing a
very
important person.”

“Yeah, and he’s got a reputation for being hard nosed.” He leaned over and kissed her softly on the lips. “Trust me; you’ll have him eating out the palm of your hand in no time.”
