“I haven’t heard from him since that Sunday, when he said he was sorry. Other than that I haven’t heard from him” I frown. Time seems to get away from me. I do need to get hold of Tate, see if there is a friendship to salvage.

But could we even be friends now that I know he likes me more than one?

“Not a very good friend then, babe. It’s like when the going gets tough he gets going”

  I sigh. I never though
t Tate was like that. We were as close as brother and sister but as soon as Tyler came in the picture, he seemed to have abandoned me.

“Its fine, I have you at the moment, I’m not trying to replace him”

“What do you mean, ‘at the moment’?” his eyebrows pull together. He finally opens his eyes.

“Well I don’t think there will be much of a friendship if you get married to the she devil and if she actually goes through with her little plan for her to get you to sleep with her, then I don’t know”

I lay my head back on his chest with a heavy heart. The thought of him actually getting married is like a punch in the stomach.

“I’m sorry, Cass. If I could get out of this I really would”, he sighs with regret.

  I nod my head.

I know I feel more for him that just a friend but my feelings can’t be a factor in this.

Tyler probably feels the same but there isn’t much point saying how we feel.
It will only hurt us more in the long run.

“I wish I met you first
”, he whispers as he pulls me even closer.

  I end up l
ying partly over the side of his body. He shifts and pulls me so I’m fully on top of him. My face is buried in the side of his neck. My legs either side of him. He wraps both arms around me.

I feel him hard underneath me but
this is more about comfort than sexual.

   “I wish you did too
” I say into his neck. I don’t know if he actually heard me because it comes out muffled.

“I’m going to see if there is a loop
hole, Cass. No I will find one and when I do you will be mine”, he says with determination in his voice.

  I nod again.

I could easily fall asleep like this. He’s so big and warm. He smells amazing too.

I’m not sure if it’s the aftershave he’s wearing or if it’s his natural smell.

  I feel safe and secure.

I start drifting off when I hear him start humming a song.

I don’t recognise it at first, but then I realise its
Charles & Eddie – Would I Lie To You.

  I fall asleep after that.

I wake a little disorientated a little while later. I feel shifting.

  I realise I’m still l
ying on Tyler he’s gone to sleep as well. I smile and go to move off him.

  He tightens his arms around
me so I can’t move.

Even subconsciously he doesn’t want to let me go.

Chapter Eleven

Tyler

I wake up with a feeling of air blowing on my neck.

Did I forget to close the window again?

  I move my a
rm to rub my eyes when I brush against something.

My eyes pop open and I look down at Cassie still sleeping on my chest.

I smile, I remember now we were talking and I pulled her on top of me to cuddle her even closer. I watched her fall asleep, the little crease she had on her forehead from frowning softened.

I stare at her for a minute and think.

I really don’t want to lose her, but I know I can’t be selfish enough to expect her to still be around me when I’m married to Georgina.

  Just the thought
of Georgina hurts like a bitch. I’m 23 and going to be married.

I’ve had enough of my train of thought. I move my arm and brush some of Cassie’s hair from her face.

I see she’s gripping my top in her hand, I smile.

I run my hands down her ribs knowing she’s very ticklish there. She squirms.

Shit I shouldn’t have done that, I didn’t think that one through properly, she moves and it causes her to rub against my morning glory.

My dick was hard when I went to sleep and is now
again, I’m not even sure if it went down.

  Poor fucker was confused h
aving Cassie on top and nothing happening.

  She stirs and moves again.

I can’t help the little groan I let out. It’s like she has a direct place in my pleasure preceptors.

Her eyes pop open and she stares at me.

“Morning gorgeous” I say with a croaky voice from sleep.

“Morning” she smiles softly but makes no move to get off me
.

We stare at each other for a couple of seconds when she talks.

   “
What’s the time?” she mumbles.

I pick up my phone from the bedside table. I’m glad I put it there now instead of leaving it in my pocket.

   “8.47am” she bolts up right.

This position doesn’t help my morning glory.

“Shit! I’ve got to be at work for 9”

“I will drive you, babe b
ut I think you need to get off me now. You’re not exactly in the best position”, she looks down the back up at me.

   “Sorry, sorry”
, she climbs off me and dashes in the bathroom.

Not even 5 minutes later she is walking
back in, in just a towel. Jesus.

   “I’m goi
ng to go wait in the front room” I grumble out. I hear her laughing as I walk out.

Another 5 minutes and she walks in the front room where I’ve been sitting pla
ying on my phone. Surprisingly it still had charge. I thought it would have died by now.

   “
You ready to go?” she nods.

I take in what she’s wearing. I think she puts the definition of sexy
into sexy librarian.

With her skirt coming down to her knees but its tight and she tucks her grey top in.

We really need to go before I haul her back in her room and suggest ‘live porn’ again.

We climb in the car once she locks the house up and buckle ourselves in.

“So when can I next see you?” I ask her while I’m driving her to work.

   “I haven’t even left you yet” s
he chuckles.

I shake my head and look at her for a second.

“Remember I’m working tonight. Oh I know you can come with me to my parents tomorrow because it’s my mum’s birthday” she chokes on her coke she was sipping.

  Breakfast apparently.

“Oh, no I’m not meeting your parents on your mum’s birthday.”

“Oh, yes you are. You helped pick out
the present… so you’re coming even if I have to bribe you”

She narrows her eyes at me.

“Where’s your kindle, babe?” she turns and glares at me.

   “You didn’t

I wink her and laugh. I adjust my jeans and focus on the road.

I see her staring at my jeans, I feel myself getting hard again.

“And I just thought you were
happy to see me when I came out of the shower”, she laughs.

   “I was. Y
our kindle was in my back pocket at that time” I wink and she laughs.

“So I’ll pick you up after work tomorrow and you can come with me yeah?”

   “On your vroom vroom
’ bike? You said about it but I still haven’t seen it”, she asks, I laugh again she cracks me up when she calls it that.

“Yes, general. I will come and pick you up on my bike. Don’t worry your kindle will be in safe hands to
day”

  She smiles.

“I don’t want my kindle case to be stuck together when I get it back” she winks. My interest peeks I’m definitely having a read on it now. I wonder what sort of books she reads.

“Were you one of those women who read ‘Fifty S
hades of Grey’ when it was in the craze?” she smile and nods.

“Did you read it?” she asks.

“I’ve read bits but my mum read it” I mock shudder. She laughs again.

I pull up to the curb at the library.

   “See only 5 minutes late”

She leans over and kisses my cheek.

“I’ll text you when I’m finished” she smiles and grabs her stuff and gets out of my car.

I watch her arse swaying as she walks quickly to the li
brary. She gets to the doors, waves and walks in.

I pull away from the curb and drive to my place.

I get to my place and see the last person I wanted to see waiting for me.

My earlier erection from Cassie has just died. I grab my jacket from the back seat
and get Cassie’s kindle from my trousers.

Don’t want her to get the wrong idea.

I walk up to my door.

   “
What can I do for you Georgina?”

   “
Where have you been? I’ve been here for ages”, she says in a whiny voice. Jesus Christ. What did I ever see in her?

   “
It is 9 o’clock in the morning, that’s your own problem if you want to get up at stupid o’ clock and come round, I can’t guarantee that I’ll always be here”

   “You were with her were
n’t you!” she sneers. I roll my eyes. I’ve been round Cassie too much if I’m rolling my eyes.

“She’s my friend so what does it matter?”

“Well what sort of friend is she for beating up your fiancée?”

  I sigh
. I knew she was going to bring that up.

   “She didn’t beat you up

“She ripped my hair out!” she screeches. Fuck
she hurts my ears.

   “You had hair extensions

“That’s the point! They are expensive and she ripped them out and chucked them on the flo
or and she made me hurt my hand”

I don’t want to offer her in but I don’t want my neighbours hearing her screeching voice.

I walk past her and open my front door.

I really should have just slammed the door in her face after I walked in but I know she will draw attention to herself by banging on my door.

“So why did you come round here? Or was it just to bitch about Cassie?” she sighs.

“I came to talk about the wedding. Considering you didn’t answe
r the text I sent you on Sunday”

   “What about it
” I say walking into the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee. I’m not going to offer her one. I don’t want her to stay any longer than she has too.

   “
Well we’re getting married in a month”, she says and takes a seat at the little breakfast bar I have. Make yourself at home.

“Just tell me the time and
the date and I’ll be there” I say still not looking at her.

“You can’t get out of this Tyler. You will be marrying me a month from now. I don’t give a shit if your friends and family will be there. Nothing is going to ruin my big day. And if I find out your cheating on me with that slag you call a friend then
this will be a whole lot worse”

   “Don’t
you dare call her a slag, I’m not ‘cheating’ on you with her. And what if you cheat on me, then what?” I growl at her. She really got my back up by calling Cassie a slag. She doesn’t even know her for fucks sake.

   “Aw
, defending your little friend how cute and what I do doesn’t concern you”, she says with an evil smile.

“So you’re allowed to do whatever or whoever you want but I’m not
even allowed one female friend”

She shrugs a shoulder and looks at her nails.

Stuck up bitch seriously don’t know what I saw in her.

   “You’re a real piece
of work you know that Georgina” she smiles like it’s a compliment.

   “Thanks

   “It wasn’t a compliment” s
he narrows her eyes at me.

“I don’t care what you have to say. Just make sure you’re at the church at 11.30 on Wednesday the 15
th
of July”

   “
Whatever” I turn back around and get a cup and pour myself some coffee.

   “
Are you making me one?” she asks.

   “N
o”, she sighs and gets off the stool.

  I take my co
ffee and walk her to the door more for the fact just so I can shut the door in her face. Wish I could just shut the door on her all together.

   “I don’t want you spending a
ny more time with your ‘friend’”, she says as she walks out the door.

   “And I don
’t give a shit on what you want” and with that I shut the door on her and walk in my bedroom. I hear her call me a bastard and I laugh.

  I put
my coffee on my bedside table and lay on my back on my bed.

Having Cassie sleep on me last night was one of the bes
t night’s sleep I’ve ever had but having Georgina round has tired me out.

How the hell am I going be married to her? I’ll have to live with her!

I throw my arm over my eyes and sigh.

Maybe if I just think of Cassie all the time it
will be ok? No, it will make it worse.

They always say you want something more when you can’t have it and I can’t have Cassie.
