Tears continued

flow

Meeka
washed
up
and

closet.

he wandered
back to
the bed
and
grabbed
the
pillow
his head
had rested
on. Hugging
his pillow,

he carried
it
back
to
his
bedroo
m
, even
though

he
knew
he
wouldn’t
be
there.
Catz
looked
up
at
her as

he
entered
the
roo
m
. Meeka
looked
at
Catz
and
broke
out
sobbing.

Catz
patted
the
bed
with
her
paw.

Meeka

ed
across
the
room
and
dropped
the
pillow
to

her

the

asked

the
tears away
from
her
cheeks,

sobs

ettled to
hiccups.

sarcas

tears
started
flowing again.

stared

silent
