To

Catz

then
stood.
She

rubbed her s

in a

the

right

He

at

in
awe,

that

but
sensing
she
wouldn’t
let that
happen
until
her

Licking

wiping
it
over

face,
she
began
to
answer
the
question
he had
asked.

“Forgive

but
there

So

Unlike

Meeka

neither.
She

Catz
explained.

You

Mr.

different.
We

Kerrigan
stared
in
disbelief.
What

A
feeling
of

to

pricking
his

“I
don’t

should

but
for
the

I’ll
give

the
benefit
of
the doubt.
You
never
answered
my
question
about
why
this

needs
protecting.”

“There

Her

perhaps
a

Kerrigan
turned
his

to
the
sleeping

in
his

What

Kerrigan
could

he
couldn’t
