I didn’t know where Cerul’s dominant side had come from, but I liked it. He was in control, as he had said. He was strong, powerful, a man. A dragon. And I adored everything about him.

My back arched, but my arms couldn’t move from where he had pinned them. I wriggled playfully, knowing he wouldn’t let me get away. I didn’t actually want to move, anyway. I was already exactly where I wanted to be.

He moved on top of me, his lips finding mine with sudden urgency. Returning to his true form had given him new enthusiasm. Every time our lips locked, his passion sent heat rushing through my entire body. The erection straining against my stomach only made me more excited.

“Give me that,” I murmured. “I want it.”

Instead of sliding it home inside me the way I craved, he tortured me some more. “Tell me what you want,” he said, pushing that hardness against me.

My hips undulated against the blanket. The night sky above me seemed less infinite than the things I wanted to do with Cerul. I wanted to hold him, feel him, bring him deep into my core. I wanted to make love to him until the night turned into morning, not stopping. Once we started, I never wanted to stop. I just wanted to keep going until the end of the world.

“I…”

“Tell me,” he growled, his breath hot on my neck. His fingers squeezed my wrists, and he grated himself against me.

“I want you,” I finally gasped out.

That was good enough for Cerul. Pulling our clothes off, letting them land where they landed, he was back atop me in a second with that gorgeous erection ready between my legs. My mouth watered and I reached for it. I needed to feel it, if only for a second. Needed to guide it into me.

We both cried out as he entered me, his thick cock stretching me and my warm core enveloping him. He silenced my cries with his lips, though, and pushed each of my hands to the floor by my head. He kept them there, keeping me pinned down as he sank himself all the way into me.

He stayed there for a moment, his eyes locked into mine. When he started to move again, I could hardly feel it. His movements were that slight, that subtle. Each motion was a little bit longer, though, and soon the tiny undulations turned to long, forceful thrusts.

With him holding me down like that, I couldn’t move. I wouldn’t have known how to move, anyway. Having my range of motion limited was actually a relief. I could lie back and simply let him drill into me.

There was nothing gentle about this, and there was no question of who was in control. He slammed into me, using me, making my body his. He owned me and with every cry, I thanked him for it.

My love. My dragon. I might not have seen him from the beginning. Now that I knew what he was, I would never let him go.

As much as I didn’t want it to end, the dawn’s first light found us deep asleep, wrapped in each other’s arms. Cerul’s warm body was the first thing I noticed; the city spinning slowly around us, the second. I couldn’t remember how or when we had finished.

“We’d better get out of here before someone finds us,” I murmured.

“It’s okay. I plan to buy this building. It’s not good enough for my vegetable girl, but it’ll do until we can build something better.”

My heart swelled. I had almost forgotten the amount of money that Cerul had. But as I rolled onto my side to face him, I worried. “I don’t want us to be like your parents,” I whispered. “Only thinking about material things, and more worried about keeping the bloodline pure than about the things that are important in life.”

His lips twitched up. “We will never be like my parents,” he promised me. “We’re nothing like them. I should have cut my mother off a long time ago. She’s dead to me now. I’ll always be grateful to my father for helping me heal myself. But I can’t respect him. He didn’t stand up for me, and he might never have told me what to do if we hadn’t gone to their house.”

It was harsh, but as I thought about it, it seemed fair.

“You’re going to be at my side,” Cerul continued. “You’ll guide me and make sure I never go off course. It might have taken a while, but I realized that listening to you can be good for me sometimes.”

“Sometimes?” I asked, eyebrow raised.

“All the time.” He kissed me softly, and we gazed into each other’s eyes. “One thing, though. I hope you won’t mind if I work out with you a little less. Flying is going to keep me quite fit.”

I reached around him. “As long as you keep doing your squats. I’m not giving up on that booty. It’s bigger than it was, but I want to see it even bigger.”

“That sounds like a plan.”

Still holding onto each other adoringly, we stood up and got ready to start our lives together.
