Dalton held his breath, but when Liam smiled, he let it go.

“Cool. Okay, we’ll see you in half an hour.”

Dalton sat up, rubbing his eyes, aware how messy and sticky he was all of a sudden. “I need a shower.”

“I know, me too. We don’t have time to mess around, so that means we have to share.” Liam waggled his brows suggestively.

Dalton burst out laughing. “Okay, we can share, but no touching.”

“Are you kidding? Have you seen how small that shower is? Even if you had the plague and I didn’t want to touch you, there’d be no stopping it from happening.”

Dalton sighed heavily. Liam, plus water, plus him in an enclosed space wasn’t going to end innocently. “You're too sexy wet. You being in the shower is what started this whole thing in the first place.”

Liam leaned over and kissed him softly on the lips. “I'm so glad you saw me.”

“Me too, even though I felt like dying of embarrassment afterwards.”

“If you’d stayed, I would have dragged you in there with me.”

Dalton laughed, moving off the bed and stretching, their cum now drying over his skin, and he took a moment to look over the state of himself. There was one thing to say about sex with another man. It was messier.

He blushed a little when Liam splayed his hand over the mess and drew him backwards into his body. “I'm thinking things are going to get messier when Troy joins us. We may need to buy a bigger shower. That way we can all get… clean together.”

“Clean, yeah, right.”

“Oh, come on! Like you would mind having both of us in there. I’d have you on your knees sucking us both off in under a minute.”

Dalton opened his mouth, ready to come back with some sort of denial, but he didn’t want to. He just smiled and walked out of the room. “I think a bigger shower sounds good. Maybe we could try the group one out at Aspire?”

Liam chuckled, delivering a short, sharp slap on his arse as they entered the bathroom. “Hmm, that can easily be arranged.”

“I’m behind on my gym time.” Dalton turned on the shower, stripping off his dirty shorts and watching Liam do the same before he stepped under the lukewarm water. “I need a sauna too.”

Liam smirked as he got in.

“Do you and Troy use the steam room and sauna after everyone’s gone?”

“Yeah, sometimes, not so much now because we’ve been busy, but when we first had them fitted we were in there every night.”

“How about tonight?” Dalton leaned his head under the jets of water, feeling overly brave.

“Tonight? Us three, in a confined, hot place? I think that’s a good idea. Like our own personal bath house.”

Dalton choked under the water before laughing loudly. “Oh, God, what have I suggested?”

“Baby.” Liam leaned in, pressing him up against the tiles and staring into his eyes. “Tonight you're going to have the best steam of your life.”

“Promises, promises, Liam.”

“Oh, that’s not a promise, that’s a guarantee of what’s going to happen.”

Dalton smirked one last time, and then passed him the gel. “We don’t want to be late for Troy now, do we?”

Chapter

T
roy was just locking up when Liam and Dalton turned up. He gave them both a once over, slowly, liking the fact they both appeared nervous, but really just having fun with them. He knew when he left them in bed together that something would happen, and it didn’t come as a shock when Liam said it had. He didn’t know what they'd done, but he guessed it was what they’d done previously. “So, you two smell nice. Had a relaxing shower, did we?”

“We did.” Liam stepped forward and checked the door was locked, then leaned in slowly, testing the water by looking into Troy’s eyes. When Troy didn’t stop him, he placed a soft kiss on his cheek. It was the first welcome kiss they’d shared and they both seemed a little coy and nervous when they parted, but both soon sported huge grins on their faces.

Dalton was chuckling as he moved in to take his turn, sweeping full lips over Troy’s and wrapping an arm around his waist. “I missed you. Everything okay? No complaints from people about shutting the shop for a couple of days?”

“Nah, they’re fine. I just had to finish off some guy’s ink this morning because he’s going away in a week and I wanted it to be healed over by the time he got in the pool.” Troy walked in between the bigger men, enjoying the fact he now had two. “I'm starving.”

“Yeah, us too.”

“I can't believe it’s their last day.” Troy frowned as they turned the corner, all three of them seeing the flashy bright yellow writing of Zappinie’s ahead.

“Something else will open up.”

“Oh.” Dalton stepped in, lips breaking out in a big grin. “I think there will be, and it’s closer to you, Troy, on the same row.”

“What? Where? The old post office building?”

“Yeah.” Dalton looked down at him. “Remember Milo?” They all fell silent and Dalton chuckled. “Of course you do. Well, his partner, Samuel, he’s going to be opening a bistro there. It’s run down, but from what he was saying last night before all the fun kicked off, it should be up and running in six months.”

“I’ve never met either of his partners.”

“I have.” Liam stepped in front of them, giving a lady pushing a pram more room. “Danny’s a good guy from what I know. We don’t really know much about each other, but he comes in the gym every now and then, and I've run into him a few times out and about. Milo introduced me to Samuel after I caught them kissing outside of the gym. Thought he was cheating and gave him a right look.”

“They’re both really nice.”

“Unlike Milo then?” Troy stiffened up and Dalton felt it, pulling him closer as they neared the deli.

“He’s okay, Troy. He was just confused and overprotective. I need to talk to him and settle things down with him. He's not just my friend, he’s my boss.”

“Yeah, well, when you go, we’re going.” Liam and Troy nodded and Dalton shrugged, trying for blasé and cool, but not really pulling it off. “Let’s sit outside.” Liam pulled out a chair and let Troy settle in it while he glanced through the window. “There’s a huge queue. Let’s wait until it dies down a bit.”

All three of them sat down, the afternoon sun just starting to warm up and Troy made the most of it by taking his jacket off and tilting his head back. He joked with them what they’d gotten up to in bed, and Liam brazenly described in a little too much detail just what happened. Troy was semi-hard by the time he’d finished and Dalton was beet red.

“Oh.” Liam stood up, looking through the glass door again and checking the queue. “We’re having a mini spa evening tonight at Aspire. I'm thinking as we're the only ones…” He sat back down again, big grin on his face. “Clothing should be optional.
And
, this was all Dalton’s idea.”

Troy tilted his head, biting his bottom lip while he glanced at Dalton. “Your idea, really?”

“Sort of. Liam turned it into some sort of bath house experience.”

“Right, well, I guess you’d know what they’re like, Liam.”

Liam snorted. “I went to one
once
. And… I was safe.”

Dalton raised a brow and Troy huffed.

“That was over five years ago.” Liam looked between them both, seeing the mistrust playing on both of their faces. “Look, that’s all over and done with, and anyone else, that’s over with too. It’s just us three.”

“I hope you can do it, Liam.” Dalton smiled softly, but Troy didn’t join in, too busy now watching several tall, uniform clad firemen leave the deli, arms crammed with packages and making a lot of noise as they made it out onto the street.

Troy was gazing appreciatively up and down a medium built, brown-haired, sexy man when the guy noticed, smiling cheekily at Troy before looking over his shoulder to Dalton.

“Dalton!!” The brown-haired fireman dressed head to toe in navy, the fire station logo emblazed on his polo, gave a massive grin at Dalton and several of his station mates turned to look at their sexy blond who was trying his best not to hide behind Liam.

“Hey, Danny, Guys.” Dalton waved, smiling more, but it was a fake, professional one and Troy felt for him.

Danny? Milo’s partner? Was he a fireman? How had that bit of info slipped past?

A few of the firemen waved, shouted out their hellos, one even called over and said Dalton should join them at the weekend for a boys night out so he could pick up a new lass to have fun with. Dalton blushed so furiously, the cute Danny stepped in and waved them away. “Get going, I’ll meet up with you back at the station.”

Dalton sighed in relief, then stood up and they shared a hug. “You come here often?”

Danny snorted. “Worst and most overused pick up line ever!” He sat down, dropping his food on the table and sharing smiles with Liam and Troy. “Okay, me and you—” He pointed to Liam. “—we know each other. You I'm not too sure about.” He smiled sexily at Troy.

“I'm Troy.” He held out his hand, enjoying the twinkle in the brown eyes staring at him.

“Nice ink.”

“Cheers.”

“So…” Danny looked at Dalton.

Dalton rolled his eyes. “I know. I suppose Milo filled you in on what happened last night?”

“Yeah. He’s at home with Samuel if you need to chat. Might do you good to have that buffer there. That buffer being Samuel.” Danny grinned. “Thought I should warn you, Blue’s there too. He stayed over last night. Both of them were pretty drunk.” Danny sat back, running a hand through his brown hair. “I'm telling you, there should be a law over two such sexy men being in the same room and not being able to do anything about it.”

Dalton chuckled. “I'm guessing you mean Blue and Samuel, or is it Milo and Samuel?”

“Blue this time.”

“Danny!” Dalton gave him a hard shove as he burst out laughing.

“What? I would never cheat, you know me. But come on! Him and Samuel… Shit! I could have wet dreams over them two all day every day. Anyway, Milo was too peed off, so I stayed up and let him cool off in bed. That Blue.” Danny whistled. “You should see him dance, man. Oh, and he’s totally upset about this whole thing with you guys by the way.” Danny smirked, winking at Dalton.

Troy raised a brow. “Who’s Blue and why is he upset about us seeing Dalton?”

Dalton quickly sobered up and acted more like an adult. “He’s a friend of Danny’s partner Samuel. I’ve met him a couple of times—”

Liam leaned forward, arms crossed on the glass table. “He’s the pixie who was all over you the first time we bumped into each other on Canal Street, right? Big heels, white blond hair, legs which went from here to the moon?” Liam shook his head, but he was smiling.

“Yeah, that one.” Dalton looked between them. “It’s nothing… I mean… Nothing ever… Danny!”

“What?” Danny had a mouthful of his panini and was grinning at the same time.

“He’s just messing with you.” Dalton punched Danny softly.

“Anyway…” Danny swallowed and looked back to Troy. “It’s nice to meet you. I’m not passing judgement, not my style, but I just wanted to stick up for Milo and how he acted last night. Dalton’s his best friend. He was just concerned and he doesn’t handle situations with kid gloves. He just wanted him out of the way so they could talk.”

“I get that,” Liam said slowly. “But Dalton’s not a child. He wanted to stay, and he got stick for it.”

“I know.” Danny wiped his lips and then looked back to Liam. “Some of the things he said were out of order, and I'm not making excuses, but he had a shit day at work and he was hungry. He’s always pissy when he’s hungry, right, Dalton?”

“Yeah.” Dalton smiled wider. “It’s okay, Danny, we’ll sort it out.”

Danny wrapped up his food and looked back to the deli with a sad smile. “I'm so sad to see this place leave the local area. We’re going to have to actually start cooking at the station now, and that means we take it turns, and remember how badly that turned out last time?”

Dalton laughed loudly, leaning backwards and nodding. “Danny here, he set
fire
to the
fire station
while he ‘cooked’ lunch a couple of years ago.”

Troy and Liam snorted.

“It wasn’t so much of a fire, more like smoke. Big black plumes of smoke, but…”

“Hmm.” Dalton folded his arms over his chest, giving Danny that famous look all police officers used.

“Yeah, okay, so it was a fire. Talk about embarrassing. I’ve been banned from cooking.” Danny pouted.

Troy chuckled. “And they didn’t fall for that sexy pout and let you off?”

“I know, right!” Danny shrugged, flirting away with Troy while Dalton chuckled and Liam scowled. “Anyway, I gotta go. You three have fun. Milo’s in all afternoon if you want to pop round. That’s an open invitation to all three of you.” Danny smiled, then waved at them before he gave Dalton a hug and walked off.

“So… a fireman, huh?” Troy deliberately kept his eyes on the firm arse of Danny walking off. “Very nice. We should
so
see more of him. You know, in a friendly, just looking no touching sort of way.”

“Troy!” Liam practically growled out his name, and Troy turned, smiling widely at the jealously etched all over his face.

“Hmm, I like this part of you now I know what’s going on in your head.”

“I'm getting the food.” Liam stood up, giving Troy a gentle shove as he half smiled. “I’ll get your usual, T. What do you want, Dee?”

“Erm, bacon, Brie and cranberry with a side salad, no dressing.”

“Bacon, Brie and cranberry?” Liam checked the menu, then snorted. “Right, the posh sandwich.”

Troy chuckled and Dalton stuck his tongue out. “Get three waters, Liam.”

“Right, be back soon. Don’t go chatting anyone else up while I'm gone. That goes for both of you please.”

“Oh, we won't. We’ll be ever so good.” Troy laughed hard when Liam flipped him the bird through the glass. “So, after this, do we have a date with Milo and sort our shit out so he's not worrying over you?”

“I guess we should. At least we’ll have his support when we talk to him and explain everything. I need all the friends I can while I go through this, and to be honest, I think we could all learn a lot from them. They’re the only ménage I know off, and we could rely on them for a lot to help us work things out in the future when we actually know what’s going on between us.”

Troy chuckled as he ran a hand over Dalton’s head. “Things aren’t going to be the same with us, Dalton, but if they’re okay talking, I'm okay listening. I’m hoping they don’t want to talk about things in much detail because I’ve no idea what to say other than we all want this and we’re trying to make it work.”

“I think we all feel the same way. All we can tell them is that we want this to work. Don’t worry, I'm not going there to have some massive heart to heart about us three. That’s our business and I want to keep it that way for a while, but there’s no reason we can’t all try to be civil at least. You’ll like them all, I'm sure of it. Just give Milo more time.”

Troy nodded, he wanted this out of the way as much as Dalton. Danny he could cope with having as a friend, Milo… he wasn’t too sure, but then they still had to talk about Dalton being in the force. Not that it would change anything, but Troy and Liam both had a past, and it should be made clear what Dalton was getting into before things got too far.

Milo could’ve even run off their records and was planning on telling Dalton everything. Troy didn’t want his history being discussed like that, and as he looked off into the distance, he knew before they would go to talk to Milo, he had to tell him about his dad. Troy was pretty sure that was a big red flag to Milo or other people who Dalton worked with, and he should have the right to know all about it from Troy, not in passing from other people.

“Dalton… before we go see your friends, we need to go back to the loft and talk, okay?”

Dalton dropped a few shades of colour and Troy moved closer, taking his hand.

“Honey, it’s nothing about us, well, it concerns us moving on, but it’s not like I'm saying it’s ending or anything so calm down. I just think we need to chat before we see Milo. I have this feeling he likes to know everything about everyone, and when we go see him, I'm pretty sure he’s going to have some info on us to tell you, and I'd like the chance to explain first what’s in those files.”
