“Yes,” Rees said, nodding. “Funny. After meeting Peggy, I've been thinking a lot about Caroline. They have much in common.” He sighed. “It's time to deal with my sister. And I can hardly wait to see the children again. I missed them.”

Nodding, Lydia took his arm and gestured at Annie. “Let's go home then.”
