She could feel his arousal against her buttocks and rocked her hips against him. “Back on Earth, they would call this a honeymoon, but I don’t think that honey is involved here.”

He laughed. “I don’t know about that.”

Kurat reached between her thighs and stroked her openings. “There seems to be quite a bit of honey here.”

She watched his absorbed expression in the mirror, and seeing it and feeling it at the same time sent her senses from two to ten in a moment. She moaned and watched as she felt the slow thrust of his fingers inside her before he replaced his fingers with his cocks. It was slow and delicious as he watched her expression, and she watched his with every thrust.

He cupped her breasts and pulled at her nipples while he stroked into her with a leisurely pace. She arched into him and shivered as the slapping of their bodies in rhythm brought them to a completion that was reflected in the silvery expanse of the mirror.

Two weeks later…

Teaching Ularan dance to a group was fun. The women of the Na-Lanvin were well educated, but the dance gave them a chance to walk on the wild side.

The education centre was in the design stages, and the excitement had caused an influx of occupation permits for aliens on Na-Lanvin.

It was a chance for them to be part of history in the making as Na-Lanvin was one of the oldest known worlds with a population that defied its own evolution. The mystery of the gods of Na-Lanvin was something that Readers were lining up to solve, but Del knew that they would come up short of an answer.

Hell, she was a host to two goddesses and she only had an inkling of where they had originated. The spawn of the original species to walk the world was still unknown.

The book that Kurat had shown her did solve some mysteries. The gods were larger, stronger and had more emotional issues than anyone could guess. Gornita was still lost in a sensual haze and a morass of regret for centuries lost.

Ulara simply enjoyed her time with Rothu during the honeymoon and grabbed every opportunity to catch Kurat alone and bring her lover to the surface. Del didn’t mind. Usually, there were four in the bed when Ulara and Rothu had their way.

Dance instruction took up her afternoons and allowed Kurat to have some time to attend matters of state. She would offer her opinion—or Gornita’s opinion—in the evenings over dinner.

None of the women in class ever needed to know that Ularan dance was a melange of nine different dance styles. They only needed to know that it celebrated beauty and the true goddess within.

Author’s Note

This one got away from me. I swear. It was going to be so simple, and then, WHAM. I guess sleeping with a book of mythology in your bed is not a good idea.

Delyth is a character with a lot of character. She has that thing so rare in normal life, acceptance. The past is the past, time to look to creating a brighter future.

In the next book
Defender,
we return to Ikanni as we tackle the issue of the space station left behind in
Command
and
Conflict
. She needs the knowledge locked in the mind of the previous station guard, but the Ikanni do not wish to let her access it. Perhaps a trade can be struck.
