Chapter 24 - Kelly

Kelly's legs and arms were in a constant state of cramping. The pain was so intense she couldn't even breathe through it. She had no idea how long she'd been left hog tied and attached to the heavy chains. The two men who had been left in the room to watch her hadn't even battered and eye lid when she screamed in pain each time a fresh wave of cramps hit her tender muscles. She wanted them to help her, to save her. But she also knew that the likelihood of that was next to nothing. Every man that Devlin employed was just as depraved as he was, and none of them would consider crossing him unless they had a death wish.

Kelly closed her eyes and forced herself to breath. She kept holding her breath as the pain increased and her muscles continued to spasm. She had to remind herself to breath so that she wouldn't pass out. She knew what would happen if she passed out.

She heard the locks engage and Devlin sauntered back into the room. Kelly averted her eyes and turned her head not wanting him to see her struggle with pain, knowing he would enjoy it too much.

Suddenly he yanked her head back, pulling her hair tight against her scalp until the chain at her collar was pulled tight and he couldn’t pull her up any higher. She screamed out in pain, as her body rejected the new movements which caused her back to arch further and her muscles to spasm. Devlin then slammed her head into the floor.

“Get her up and put her in the guest lounge. We’ve got some old visitors that want a show.”

Devlin chuckled as he left his men to do his bidding. As a new wave of pain launched over her when they unbuckled the ties the bound her arms and legs. She’d take the cramping over this. This pain was different and so much more intense and unforgiving. It came in quick waves one after the other, not allowing for any break.

The men roughly held her legs down to stop them from automatically resuming the hogtie position and then forced her arms over her head. Kelly heard a distinctive pop as her shoulder came out of its socket. The edge of unconsciousness blurred her vision and she begged it to take her under. Instead, it lingered just out of reach, forcing her to endure the overload of pain.

“Fuck, Devlin’s going to be pissed if you broke something.” A rough voice said.

“Nah, not broken, she popped it. When we stand her up I’ll pop it back in. Should leave it out and let her feel it for a while.” The sadistic guard said. Kelly noted that their voices seemed further away, like she was floating, the pain was ebbing.

They stood her up, although her legs couldn’t hold herself up, which forced them to do it for her.

“Just hold her up so I can fix her arm would you?” Sadistic grunted.

Kelly ignored the banter that went back and forth breathing through the pain. She needed a drink, her muscles were screaming for hydration. She knew enough about bondage to know she’d been tied up far too long in that hideous position. Pain flew through her shoulder and down every nerve in her back as her shoulder was roughly pulled and shoved back into position. It didn’t feel right, but Kelly knew better than to ask them to help her. They would enjoy raping her much more than helping her. She bit her lip in an effort to stifle the scream that erupted from her throat.

“No wonder Devlin likes this one so much, she’s very vocal.”

“Fuck…you. Assholes.”

The silence around her grew thick before one of the men wrapped his massive hand around her throat and dragged her towards the door. Kelly couldn’t even get a breath in as she clawed at the hand around her throat, desperately trying to get him to loosen his grip.

He continued to drag her through the house until they arrived in the very familiar guest lounge area. She’d been here many times before. Devlin liked to show her off to his guests, letting them use her as they pleased until he grew bored.

“What took so fucking long you fucking rejects? I’ve got guests waiting to come in here and I want her up there
before
they get in the room." He said pointing to the St Andrew's cross that was centre point to the room. "And for god’s sake let go of her throat before she passes out or I’ll have
your
ass up there!” Devlin strode from the room after growling that they only had five minutes to have her ready.

Kelly crashed to the floor, sucking in deep lungful’s of air. She’d nearly passed out because Devlin’s men had no control over their hands.

They dragged her by the arms to the cross and quickly had her secured, her head was turned to the side and her stomach was pushed tightly against the cross. She noted the pleasure that they took in grabbing her breasts and making sure they were on either side of the cross. Once she was secured at her ankles they unbolted the cross and turned it on its custom made base so that she was sideways to the well placed lounge chairs.

“When he’s done with you, whore, we’ll be waiting.” The man who had pulled her shoulder out of its socket pulled her head back and slammed it into the hard wood of the cross, Kelly welcome the blackness that enveloped her, thankful for the short relief it would give her.

“Time to wake up now, whore.” Kelly flinched trying to move away from whatever was under her nose. Memories of where she was came flooding back and her body went rigid. Her arms and legs were still aching and her shoulders were already protesting being cuffed to the cross. “That’s better, we can’t have you missing out on the fun now, can we?”

Devlin turned away from her to face the lounge chairs. Kelly kept her face turned the opposite way, not wanting to see who her audience was for the day.

“Good evening, Gentleman. As you can see, I have made good on my promise to bring my own little whore out for a play today.” Kelly could hear the pleasure in his voice as he spoke to his guests. “Today, I will show you the art of the bullwhip. Not like you’ve seen it in the clubs for pleasure. Today I will be showing you the correct way to treat your slaves and use the bullwhip for
your
pleasure and
their
punishment.”

The group begun to talk all at once, collectively creating a buzz like sound in the room.

“Gentleman, please, a little patience is in order. You will be able to sample her, of course, once the demonstration is over. Now, before we proceed, can I get you anything to drink?” Devlin pressed a small button on the back of one of the couches and Kelly turned her head to see who walked in the room. A young girl, who only looked around sixteen came into the room shaking like a leaf. She bore bruises on her breasts, neck and wrists and she kept her eyes to the ground.

“Slave, take the drink orders of my guests. Should you spill any, the man whose drink you spill will punish you in any way they choose. Should you spill
all
of them, I will let every, single one of them punish you.”

“Yes, Sir.” Quickly the dark haired girl moved to each man and took their drink orders before scurrying to the wet bar in the back of the room. Quickly she made each man his drink before placing them all on a tray, there were only five of them, but her shaking left her almost incapable of carrying the tray. She arrived back at the couch relieved that she had made it without spilling or even dropping a drink. She had only done that once, and didn’t want a repeat of that particular punishment.

Kelly knew that serving drinks had nothing to do with Devlin being a good host. No. He just wasn't wired that way. She knew it had everything to do with building up the anticipation of pain in
her
body. Allowing her fear to build until every nerve in her body was alive. She hated that he knew her body so well. She hated that she had let him get under her skin so quickly after arriving.

Kelly concentrated on her breathing, ignoring the banter about her body from the men in the room. The young girl would be lucky tonight, they were too focused on Kelly to worry about terrorising the shaking girl. Kelly hoped that she would find a way out one day, and return to her family. She looked to be around the same age Kelly had been when she was taken. Seemed to be a favourite age for Devlin.

Kelly shook her head as her focused waned again. Pain from various parts of her body stopping her from being able to zone out completely.

She heard the first last before it hit.

Then all she heard was her own screams.

Chapter 24 - Kelly

There was a crackle in the air and Kelly heard shouting over the radios that both men wore. She couldn't hear what was happening but knew that something was wrong. The men immediately came towards her and unlocked her bound body. After she'd been whipped by Devlin he's allowed every single guest to have a go. Even for a profession who practiced every day, using a bull whip on human skin can be difficult. For these amateurs, it had meant deeper wounds and more scars then she already had.

Kelly willed herself to stretch her aching muscles but couldn't. One of them men grabbed both her feet and reefed them down to the floor holding them down so they didn't automatically cramp and bend up again. She knew they weren't doing this for her, they must have been told to move her.

“Just pick her up, we can't wait for her to move herself. Orders are we need to move her now.”

With a grunt the second man hauled her over his shoulder in a fireman's hold. The motion forcing her back to stretch the opposite way to how she'd been chained. Allowing her muscles to slowly stop cramping. She didn't fight the man who was man handling her, she had no strength to run even if she could fight them off. She needed to wait until she could feel her legs and feet, she had to make sure her punches would land where she wanted them, not in mid-air where they would do no damage at all.

Kelly felt them descend down some stairs. The air grew damp and thick raw sewage.
Where the hell were they taking her? What on earth was
below
the dungeon?
She'd never been down here before. In all the years that Devlin had held her prisoner, she'd never even known this place existed.

As they delved deeper into the stone tunnel, Kelly heard the quiet whimpers of girls crying. When they came to a halt they were standing in front of a huge prison cell. When the man who wasn't carrying her unlocked the door using a coded key card, Kelly started to struggle and hit the brute that held her with her fists.

“Stop that or I'll fucking kill one of these girls and make you watch!” He growled in her ear as he pinched at her naked inner thighs, twisting the skin in between his fingers.

“Bastard!” Kelly managed to scream out, her voice hoarse and sore.

“Yeah, well at least I'm a free bastard, Slave.”

He through her down onto the hard concrete floor in the middle of the cell. Kelly crawled onto her stomach and hid her face, protecting her head.

“Let’s go see what the commotion is all about.” One of the men said. “It's almost time for our break, they better not be fucking us around again.”

Kelly lay face down on the floor until she heard a door slam and alarm itself before she moved. She sat up slowly, easing her body into an upright position she finally took in her surroundings.

There were at least ten girls in the cell with her. None of them would have been older than eighteen. They were all naked some bore similar bruises to her, others looked terrified at the idea that they would be next.

“How many of you are hurt?” Kelly asked quietly, looking around the dimly lit cell.

“Two...” a timid voice came through the darkness before a petite girl of maybe fifteen stepped forward. “One has been unconscious for two days and Lisa over there looks like she's got a broken arm.”

“Can someone help me up, please?” Kelly asked quietly, realising that there was no way she could get up on her own yet. Three girls including the one that had spoken up came forward and slowly lifted her off the concrete floor. “Thank you.”

Two of the girls stepped back away from her once Kelly found her footing. The other girl, who had spoken up, looked over Kelly's body assessing her.

“How bad is it?” she asked.

“I'm sure it looks worse than it is. I'm fine...what's your name?”

“Claudette.”

“Hi Claudette, I'm Kelly.” Kelly stuck out her hand and waited as the small girl flinched at her sudden movement. When she finally took her hand, Kelly noted that she had at least two broken fingers on each hand. “How long have you been here?”

“I lost count at two weeks. There were a few more of us, but sometimes when they take us up there…they don't come back.”

“Tell me what happened to you.”

Kelly listened to Claudette tell her story. From the moment she was snatched from her home, to meeting Kelly in the cell. It was eerily similar to her own story. Kelly cried as Claudette retold some of her encounters with Devlin's men, visitors and potential buyers. Once she was finished, Kelly held her and together they cried for each other's pain. One by one the other girls came forward and shared their own stories. Kelly had been on the receiving end of Devlin and knew of his depravity, but it seemed he had developed some new tastes and debauched needs.

“So none of you have ever been...
seen
by Devlin himself?”

All the girls nodded except for one, Kelly hadn't noticed her hiding in the shadows before. Slowly she stepped forward and into what little light the cell offered.

“I have.”

Kelly took in her red hair, the curl almost identical to her own. The pale skin, the smattering of freckles and the summer sky blue eyes.

“You two could be sisters.” Claudette remarked.

“No...Not sisters. Cousins.” Kelly said with a shaky voice.

“Kelly?” Anna asked quietly.

“Anna, how did you...how long? How long have you been here?”

“You don't understand, Kelly. I came to him.”

Kelly took a step backwards and her stomach churned. Anna was only a year younger than her, but here in the dim lighting she easily fit in amongst the fourteen and fifteen year old girls. She shook her head as tears blurred her vision. Of course she'd never known that Anna was missing. She'd never gone home. She had no way of knowing. James popped into her mind and she
knew
that he would have known about the connection.

“What the hell do you mean? Do you not see the trail of destruction he's left here? Just in this room alone? Do you know just how many others there have been before them?” Kelly hadn't meant to yell but her anger was rapidly rising, although she'd need to tone it down as her ribs were screaming at her for taking in so much air at once.

“I didn't know what he was...not then...I was young, naïve...you were
gone,
Kelly. Just
gone
! Everyone gave up on finding you. Your parents held a fucking
funeral
for you. I was lost and alone! I joined an online support group for family and friends of the missing girls. One particular member stood out from the rest. Offering a listening ear whenever I needed it. My parents wouldn’t talk about you, your parents wouldn’t answer any of my questions! I even went to the police…they pretty much ignored me. Only one cop in the entire station was at least sympathetic. And between you and me, I think he was kind of looking for you in his own time.” Anna paused to collect her thoughts. “We made a friendship of sorts and after a few months he asked me to meet with him. I set up a public place and time, I told one friend where I was going, although I didn't tell her who I was meeting. Not that it would have made any difference, he wasn't who he said he was.” Anna took a step towards her, her arms out towards Kelly. “I know now that he was looking for you. Once he knew that my missing person was you and that we were related he asked for me photo. He sent me one too. I even googled it, trying to check he was who he said. He matched the information he had given me. That he was brother of another of the missing girls. He knew
every
little detail about her. Where she went to school, what she looked like. He even knew everything about his façade character. I was…I was suckered in.”

Kelly sighed as Anna's face told much more than she was.

“He was supposed to be her
brother
. But when I arrived at the cafe we’d agreed to meet at, there was another man there. He told me that there had been an accident and he was to take me too him. I thought his name was Scott.”

“Oh, Anna.” Kelly took the broken girl into her arms and held her while she cried.

Eventually exhaustion took over and the group of girls huddled together to keep warm and to feel a safe connection with another human. Not the monsters the lurked up above them.
