A
condition of his Grandpa's will
stipulated
that Brad
must
get married and stay married for a year, if he's to inherit
Reinehart
I
ndustries. The deadline by which Brad has to get married is
approaching
quickly
, so he proposes to Alexis Jones, the cute receptionist he met
two
days ago.

Alexis isn't
really sure
about the whole thing. But then Brad suggests that she go with him to
Paris
for
the weekend
,
so
they can both spend a bit more time together before
she makes her decision
.

Alexis is conflicted about the choice for a number of reasons. But two passionate days in
Paris
, followed by a day in Brad's glamorous
New York
world, help her to make up her mind.

Chapter One

As soon as I stepped out of the office, I spotted the limo parked
by
the curb. I knew it was Brad, even before he rolled down his window to wave me over.

I sighed and
walked to the car
, sliding in when he opened the door.

"We're going straight to the airport," he said.

"No," I shook my head, "I should pick up some things from home
, first
."

He'd suggested the trip
today at breakfast. Afterwards, we'd stopped for five minutes at my apartment;
he waited in the car as I
fished out my passport,
put it in my bag
and ran back to the car to get a lift to work
.
I didn't even have a toothbrush on me.

"They have shops there, you know," he sounded amused, "You'll get whatever you need from there. We don't have time to make detours right now."

"Ok." It was just as well, I supposed. I didn't want him to
come inside my
tiny apartment - it was probably the size of one of his bathrooms. He knew I was broke, but I didn't want to rub it in his face.

As if he'd heard the niggling doubt in my mind, Brad said, "Your contract will cover all your expenses, of course."

Yes, the contract. It was going to be called a pre-nup, but we both knew that if we got married it would
just
be a sham - if we stayed married for a year, Brad would inherit
Reinehart
Industries
outright
, and I'd get a cool million dollars as my divorce settlement.

I felt a bit uneasy about the whole thing. I desperately needed money, I needed to pay off my student debt and the remainder of my mom's medical bills, and the kind of money Brad was offering would allow me to get back to college, get a degree and hopefully get a job I liked.

However,
I really did
feel something for
Brad.
The moment I saw him my stomach had done flips. It
wasn't just
his
sculpted face, gorgeous eyes or chiseled muscles - I felt something in the air between us, a kind of friction
that made me want to remove any distance between our bodies. I'm sure Brad felt it too.

Brad could have any girl he wanted, so I didn't want to get my hopes up about "the two of us", but at the same time I didn't want to destroy the slim chance of something real happening between us by getting into a fake marriage.
To add to my inner conflict
, I wasn't sure if I could stomach the pretense for an entire year, and if I could tolerate feeling like an expensive hooker.

I settled back in the plush leather seats as the limo sped forward. Brad was busy reading something on his tablet, and I wondered if I should buy a magazine for the flight.

"I have to get through some emails,"
he
said
,
when I looked at him quizzically
. "I always fall asleep on flights."

I
nodded like I understood,
pulled out my old iPod and closed my eyes as the music washed over me.

It was a long drive, and by the time the limo pulled up, it was dark outside. I
hadn't paid any attention to the route,
and now
I noticed we hadn't gone to
JFK
Airport
, and had instead arrived at the smaller
Teterboro
Airport
in
New Jersey
.

The door opened and Brad helped me out. We sped through security, crossed the small waiting area and were taxied across to our waiting flight.

It
came as
a
small shock to me when I realized we'd be getting
i
nto Brad's private jet, and not a commercial flight. I should've expected this, but in my world, people shared a massive plane and cramped their bodies into tiny seats. Obviously, th
at
was unheard of in Brad's world.
I climbed up the narrow stairs, and looked around as the pilot came out to speak with Brad.

The
inside
of the
jet
was decked out like a modern hotel, lit with small overhead lights
which
gave the sitting area a warm glow. The seats themselves were cream leather, and wide enough for two people to share. There were only a few seats, and I could tell by the distance
s
between them that they reclined completely.

A
fter
we sat down, the pilot disappeared into the cockpit, and the plane began to hum to life. Brad and I
sat
across the aisle from each other, and we did up our seatbelts as the plane taxied forwards.

I've always loved air travel, and as the plane finally moved faster and left the ground, I
gazed
out the window. I was pushed back
in my seat at
takeoff, but I couldn't take my eyes off the bright lights
of
the city which made
a gorgeous mosaic below us. To me, this was the best thing about flying at night, and even Brad put his tablet away to adm
ire the
lights
sparkling below.

The "fasten seatbelts" sign finally switched off as the city was left far
away
and the plane began to fly smoothly.

"There's a kitchenette if you're hungry."

I nodded, and got up from my seat. I was always hungry, and I'd just skipped dinner. Exploring the kitchenette, I poured myself a glass of orange juice and found a sandwich, which I gobbled up.
This
wasn't as bad
as regular flight meals
, I thought, as I
discovered
a plate of brownies. Grabbing one, I headed back to my seat. A few moments later, Brad got up and came back with a sandwich of his own.

I leaned back, pressing buttons that made the seat recline completely. It was time to sleep, but the plane was getting chilly.

"There are blankets somewhere here
,
"
said
Brad
as he finished
his sandwich and opened an overhead cabin to pull out the woolen blanket.

I looked up at him as he spread the blanket over me and asked,
"You're cold, aren't you?"

I nodded mutely, as he spread the blanket over me and sat down beside me.

He stroked the side of my face, his fingers rough and gentle at the same time. I felt my body flushing with heat, and I knew he felt it too. His hands slid under the blanket, and reached the hem of my blouse,
which he grabbed and pulled up
over my head. The blanket slip
ped down to reveal my lace bra. He traced the top of the bra, sliding his hands up the straps and slipping them off my shoulders. His teeth grazed my collarbone and his lips began to move downwards, towards the hollow between my breasts.

I felt him reach around and unclasp the bra
.
H
e slid it off me, exposing my naked breasts.

I lay back in my seat and looked up at him as his mouth met mine, his tongue parting my lips and finding its way in. The kiss started off softly, but soon I was moaning into his mouth, the fire between us building up, as his chest crushed against me, my breasts naked and pressing into his soft shirt. His tongue lashed against mine as I responded with a passion I didn't know I had, skimming my nails down his back and arching myself against him.

I felt him wrap his arms around my hips as he
pulled
me to him
.
W
e turned together in one fluid motion till I was
half-sitting
on top of him
.

The blanket had slid off, and
I felt him undo the zip of my skirt, sliding it off, pulling
down
the thin panties under it.

I pulled my mouth away from him and sat up, grasping at his buckle, trying to undo it. His fingers joined mine and the belt was loosened and the button undone. I slid the zip open and
lifted my body so that I could slide his pants down.

Once again, he pushed me back against the seat, and lay on top of me. I felt his erect member straining against the fabric of his boxers, pressing into me as he kissed the side of my neck, travelling up and tracing the shape of my ear with his tongue.

I hooked my fingers under the band of his boxers, and slid th
em down, gasping for air as his lips moved down again, finding my nipple and chewing at it gently till I moaned out loud.

His lips moved to my other breast, and his fingers moved down between my legs, finding my engorged nub and rubbing it in circles, before travelling down to my moist folds and stroking them gently.

I groaned out loud, begging him for more, and he obliged,
sliding
two fingers
into
my wet entrance. I gasped as they stretched me out, filling me up
and making me ache for more. As he plunged his fingers in and out, I arched my back, breathing deeply with delight
. I felt his fingers move out and
he pressed his palms against my thighs, spreading them apart.

I wrapped my legs around his waist, hoping he would enter me, but he merely looked down at me and grinned.

I whimpered in dismay, arching my back and wrapping my hands around his neck. He brought his lips down on mine, and I felt the heat travelling through our mouths.

Finally he lowered his hips, and I groaned with pleasure as I felt him position the tip just on top of my entrance. With a gentle thrust, he pushed his shaft in, and I moaned with delight, clenching my muscles and trying to suck him in.

As I rotated my hips, Brad pulled out and thrust in again. I felt him enter deeper within me, stretching out my muscles, throbbing inside me. I realized I'd been wanting him all day, and felt the pressure build up quickly as he thrust into me again and again, going deeper each time.
