By the ancestors, this
makes me a Crown Prince now. I’ve got a lot of work to do, getting
up to speed on things. But first, I have another task to
perform.

All at once, he was not so tired. He
barely managed to keep an evil smile from curling his lips as he
said, “Now let me out of these binds so I can celebrate
properly.”

Clajak laughed, the sound as
lighthearted as it had been before hell had been unleashed on his
life. “By what? Beating my ass?”

“No, by fucking it. It is an amazing
ass.”

Bevau was certain Clajak wouldn’t let
him go right away ... at least not without biting or sedating him
first. The high commander was a dangerous Nobek, after all. Clajak
had to know Bevau would look for revenge after the last three
days.

It turned out the decision wasn’t left
up to Clajak. The beaming Egilka said, “We did agree to let you go
as soon as you joined our clan. Cuffs, release
prisoner.”

The cuffs opened as Clajak gasped,
“Egilka, no!”

It was too late. Bevau fell to the
floor in a crouch. He growled, feeling the weakness of his
incarceration. It didn’t matter with adrenaline pumping through
him. He growled at the hurriedly backing up Clajak, baring his
fangs at the Dramok. Payback time had arrived.

Egilka was either terribly naive when
it came to Nobeks or euphoric to the point of recklessness. Bevau
suspected it might be a mixture of both. The chortling Imdiko
grabbed Clajak and shoved his clanmate at Bevau. “He’s all yours,
my Nobek.”

Bevau sprang forward as the yelling
Clajak was shoved towards him. The Nobek grabbed the prince and
shoved him facedown on the sleeping mat. Clajak had no chance to
fight back before Bevau had him at a disadvantage. The Nobek bit
his Dramok’s neck, sending intoxicant into the flailing man’s
body.

Within a few seconds, Clajak’s body was
lax with submission. He groaned. “Damn my clanmates and their
conspiracies.”

“You’re in for it,” Bevau agreed,
licking the two drops of blood that welled where he’d sunk his
fangs into the other man’s flesh. “Stay right where you are. Don’t
move from this spot.”

Egilka still snickered a few feet away
... until Bevau rose from his first victim and turned his
predator’s gaze on him. “Don’t think you’re not paying for this
too, my Imdiko. You’re every bit as much to blame as
Clajak.”

Egilka’s eyes were wide as Bevau came
for him. Perhaps sensing the hopelessness of the situation, he
didn’t try to run away or fight. Feeling the long body shivering
against his as he bit the Imdiko into submission, Bevau moaned in
anticipatory delight. Revenge would be sweet indeed.

He sent Egilka to sit next to Clajak on
the sleeping mat. He stood over the pair, stroking his swollen
cocks as he eyed the two men. His to care for, for a lifetime. His
to fuck right now.

Bevau grinned at them, enjoying
himself. It had been a maddening three days. Despite the torment,
somehow he’d enjoyed being at their mercy. He was going to enjoy
having them serve him in return even more.

“You two may suck me to start with. You
will do so to the utmost of your abilities, desperate to please me.
Do it knowing that afterward, I am going to strap the hell out of
both your asses and fuck them to my very great
enjoyment.”

Unable to withstand his influence, his
new clanmates scrambled to kneel before him. They put their mouths
to work, sucking, licking, and kissing with abandon.

Bevau enjoyed the oral pleasuring for a
long time, letting his arousal reach the point where it felt best;
blissful with anticipation of all that was yet to come without the
torment of needing immediate release. Sometimes he fucked a
submissive mouth, swaying his hips to fill the warm environs all
the way down Clajak or Egilka’s throat.

Neither asked for mercy. Their cocks
were swollen and dripping, indicating their excitement of being
Bevau’s to enjoy. Even control-happy Clajak accepted his penance.
His eyes shown up at Bevau, speaking of adoration ... with a glint
of mischief, of course. No doubt the crafty prince was already
thinking of what he’d do to Bevau the instant he could reverse
their positions.

Later, Bevau had them both bend over
the sleeping mat. The two asses, waiting in trembling anticipation
of his chastisement, were lovely side by side. Bevau lost himself
for a few minutes in caressing Clajak’s muscular buttocks and
Egilka’s smaller, but so perfectly round offering. He smiled to
himself, seeing how their tension built as he drew out the
anticipation of their whippings.

The strap he found wasn’t as thick as
he’d wanted, but he was a skilled disciplinarian. The men’s yelps
as he striped their gorgeous asses satisfied him greatly. Watching
them jerk beneath his punishment made his cocks ache. He made sure
to redden them properly, making their flesh hot for the
taking.

Take them he did. Snug, delicious flesh
enclosed his, tugging the skin of his cock as he thrust in and out
of first one shuddering sleeve and then the other. He had them
masturbate each other as he took them in turns.

Bevau couldn’t pick a favorite ass.
Both clutched at his primary cock sweetly, coaxing exaltation
closer and closer with every plunge. Each man grunted and moaned
delightful sounds that spurred Bevau to take them harder and
faster. They yielded without complaint, welcoming him, their Nobek,
into the clan.

As Clajak and Egilka brought the other
man off within seconds of each other, Bevau gave up trying to pick
the better ass. He shot thick ropes of cum on both of them, marking
and claiming them as his. It was the most fulfilling climax of his
life thus far, this first orgasm shared with clanmates.

Worn out, all three men lay in gasping
huddles on the sleeping mat. After a few seconds, Clajak reached
out to pull Egilka close, hugging the Imdiko chest to chest. Bevau
crept across the tangled linens to curl against Egilka’s back. It
felt like the most natural thing in the world to lay there with the
two men. Bevau smiled to himself. His loins were wonderfully empty,
but his heart was full.

Kalquor was going to lose its mind when
it discovered it had a new Crown Prince. Bevau never worried over
actions come to pass, only the tasks that lay before him. There was
no room for regret. Still, he couldn’t help but chuckle at what was
to come.

“The poor Empire,” he snickered into
Egilka’s tangled hair.

Clajak propped himself on one elbow and
grinned at Bevau. “Yes. Hopefully it will be a long time before it
has to bow to the likes of us three.”

Egilka frowned at the pair, his
expression one of dismissal. “Speak for yourselves. I’m going to be
an awesome emperor.”

They laughed at their Imdiko and Clajak
dropped a kiss on his forehead. “You certainly are.”

Chapter 26

Summer was edging into fall the day
Clajak and Egilka walked down the purple carpet strip that had been
laid from the Imperial House to the spot on the beach where a huge
awning had been placed.

The sky overhead was clear, traffic
having been diverted for the official clanning ceremony. Though the
moment Bevau had accepted Clajak’s offer to clan marked his
becoming their Nobek and Kalquor’s third Crown Prince, this day
would confirm it for all of Kalquor.

The path to this day had been
difficult, but not nearly as arduous as the three men had feared.
True, there had been an outcry from the Royal Council at the choice
of a dual-breed future ruler. However the public had not been so
quick to judge. The overall sentiment had been that they’d expected
no less than controversy from their Dramok prince. Clajak had not
disappointed them in that respect, so they turned their attention
to Bevau’s record.

As Yuder had discovered, it was
impeccable. Many in the Royal Council agreed that there was no
valid reason to suppose Bevau would not make a suitable Nobek
ruler. Only those most opposed in principle to the Imperial Family
had continued their arguments to force a de-clanning.

A few weeks went by with vigorous
debates and public opinion polls taken and retaken. Most
Kalquorians enjoyed the scandal for the sheer entertainment value.
Few seemed seriously worried about the matter.

The biggest concern for Clajak about
the council’s vote was the number of its members who abstained from
casting ballots. While they saw nothing in Bevau’s record to
indicate he would not be a valiant protector of the Empire, concern
remained that a man who was half-caregiver might waver at the wrong
time. The universe was a dangerous place. With Kalquorians fighting
extinction, there were worries that enemies, known and unknown,
might try to take advantage of their dwindling numbers. They needed
assurances that their Nobek leader would be ready to fight off any
number of foes.

In the end, even with half the council
sitting out the vote, the results were not close. With public
sentiment favorable to Bevau, particularly in the wake of Irdis’
death and Zarl’s health concerns, there was an overall sigh of
relief that the Crown Prince Clan had its full complement of male
members. When Narpok recovered her senses and early tests indicated
she was fertile, a celebratory air reigned over caution. The Royal
Council voted in a two-to-one margin to not challenge the clanning
of Nobek Crown Prince Bevau.

The day of the official ceremony could
not have been more perfect. While warm, it was not insufferably so,
particularly out on the breezy beach. In purple robes made just for
this day, Clajak and Egilka walked between dignitaries and their
clans on their way to formally acknowledge Bevau as their
Nobek.

Clajak’s grin was plastered
on his face. He thought it might never go away. He still suffered
moments of sadness when he wished he could visit his mother. His
heart tugged regret when he watched Zarl suffer through the
aftermath of many surgeries and rehabilitation. He had not escaped
the notion that had he been on the shuttle with them, he might have
been able to do something to save his parents. Common sense and his
clanmates told him otherwise. Yet guilt remained, along with the
soft voice in the back of his head that often whispered,
I was supposed to have been there.

Despite moments of despair, there was
much to be happy about now. Clajak had clanmates he loved above all
others. Zarl grew stronger every day. It was confirmed that he
would remain the Dramok Emperor for some time to come.

Life had its rough moments, but it was
still good.

Clajak tried not to enjoy Head
Councilman Pwaldur’s scowl as he entered the large awning and
walked past him. Back to his bellicose ways, Pwaldur had made no
effort to conceal his opposition to Bevau becoming a Crown Prince
and eventual mate to Narpok. Only knowledge that the Empire’s
citizenry approved had tempered Pwaldur’s reactions in public.
Behind closed doors, he had been a good deal less polite. The
Government House had rung with his shouts for the weeks leading up
to the Council’s vote.

Clajak gave Pwaldur a smug nod, unable
to help rubbing the victory in just a little. He practiced a little
restraint however, and switched his attention to the wan girl at
the Head Councilman’s side.

Narpok’s gown was beautiful, the deep
rose hue of it warming her sallow complexion. Her eyes were no
longer empty, only filled with sorrow. She’d been released from the
hospital some weeks back once she’d come back to reality. She
wavered between grief for her lost parents and screaming tantrums
that Pwaldur sought to appease with pricey gifts. Clajak and Egilka
thought the girl could have done better with more of her father’s
attention rather than presents, but Narpok was not theirs to care
for yet. They, along with Bevau, tried to visit with her when their
schedules allowed. Narpok was often not available to greet guests.
Clajak suspected Pwaldur tried to keep their influence over her to
a minimum.

Clajak gave Narpok a warm smile as he
passed her. For a moment she offered a small smile of her own
before her gaze darted to Pwaldur’s thunderous face. Then her eyes
went distant, and the momentary kindness fled.

There was no time for Clajak to concern
himself with his Matara-to-be. The end of the long purple carpet
was in sight, along with the people who mattered most at this
moment.

Egilka’s parents, minus his Imdiko
father, were there. Fortunately they were a pleasant trio whose
company delighted Clajak. He had once whispered to Bevau out of
Egilka’s hearing, “They make up for Wej being an asshole. His name
never comes up when they visit, so I think they miss his presence
as much as we do.”

Bevau’s parents were also in
attendance, a ruggedly handsome group of men younger than Clajak’s
fathers. Bevau’s mother Pentro stood in their midst, a tiny thing
for a Kalquorian. She stood barely chest-high to Clajak. Yet after
meeting her weeks ago, Clajak had discovered Bevau had only been
half joking when he’d claimed Matara Pentro could have whipped his
Nobek soldiers in a fight. The woman was all fire and spirit, a
force of nature who held nothing back. She was gorgeous to boot. It
was obvious where Bevau had gotten his stunning looks and biting
humor from. Clajak adored her, especially when she gave as good as
she took during a debate with Yuder on environmental
issues.
