He tossed aside the flogger.  Next the vibrator went still inside Gelan.  A moment later, Wynhod slipped it out of him.  The Nobek groaned.

“If you could see how good you look.  Open and ready for me to fill you.”

Gelan said nothing.  He could only moan as Wynhod’s thighs pressed between his and a hard, slick heat pressed against his anus.  The Nobek was mounting him.

Wynhod eased into his ass with a sigh.  The work he’d done with the vibrator had loosened the ring of muscles guarding Gelan’s entrance, allowing him to fill the Dramok without trouble.  He was still quite thick, making Gelan feel full.

Wynhod gripped the Dramok’s hips and slowly, sinuously pumped into his ass.  His lower cock slid beneath Gelan’s, the friction yet another point of wondrous persecution.  Gelan moaned.

He knew begging wouldn’t make any difference, and he wasn’t sure how to form the words anyway.  Still, he couldn’t stop himself from groaning the other man’s name.  “Wynhod.”

“Oh yeah.  Let me hear my name on your lips.”  The Nobek’s pace quickened.

“Wynhod.”  Gelan didn’t repeat it so much to please him.  The name was like a talisman, the only thing the Dramok had to hang his dissolving sanity on.

“That’s right.  I’m fucking your sweet, tight ass.  Feel me in there.”

“Wynhod.”  He clenched his fists tight.  He could move again, but he still couldn’t use his cuffed arms, couldn’t reach down and release his aching dicks from their imprisonment, couldn’t come.  In his desperation, another word escaped Gelan’s gasping mouth.  “Please.  Wynhod, please.”

“Fuck,” the Nobek said in a breathless whisper.

His hips slapped harder and faster against Gelan’s sore ass.  His grip on the Dramok tightened, and he pulled Gelan back onto his cock as he buried it deep.  It pounded mercilessly on the sweet spot.  Gelan threw his head back to shriek at the ceiling as his groin tried to contain the swelling agony of impeded climax.

“Wynhod!”

“Getting there.  That’s almost what I want to hear.”

He yanked Gelan back and forth, impaling him over and over, finding that horrifically delicious spot every time.  Gelan’s guts twisted tight, and that area between his cocks clutching with violent need.    He couldn’t take anymore and screamed at the top of his lungs, beyond sense of anything but the vicious brutality of obstructed release.

“There it is,” the Nobek said with a strained grunt.

Wynhod’s words might as well have been in a foreign language for all the sense they made to Gelan.  But the warm hand that moved between his dicks, he knew that touch quite well.  He howled to feel it when he couldn’t orgasm.  The agony…

Suddenly, the chokehold on his cocks loosened and then released.  Something else clutched not quite as tight and moved up and down his primary.  It was a hand, it was Wynhod’s hand, bringing the raging stream of acute pleasure that was nearly pain, pouring from the second dick, spilling over into the larger one, finally releasing…

Lightning pulses gushed in rapid-fire jets from Gelan’s primary cock.  Spasms seized his lower abdomen, discharging the agonizing fullness in long, aching seizures.  The world flashed white and remained that way for some time.

He came back in degrees, his belly and chest dripping with the evidence of passion.  Wynhod still hammered into him from behind, the Nobek’s rhythm stuttering as he neared his own end.  A long groan unfurled through the air.  Wynhod froze, stroked twice more, and then the cock buried in Gelan’s ass throbbed.  His lover moaned, fingers digging into his hips as he emptied into the tight passage.

After Wynhod’s cock stopped pulsing and he had started breathing rather than gasping, the Nobek rubbed up and down Gelan’s back, his hands further relaxing the Dramok’s depleted body.  Gelan couldn’t help but sigh.

Wynhod managed a weak chuckle.  “That wasn’t a bad start, was it?  Give me a few minutes, and we’ll get serious about this.”

Gelan growled, but there was no real malice behind the sound.  This was only the beginning of many such nights with his lover.  A lifetime rolled out before him, a lifetime of nights in which he’d fight for supremacy, nights where he’d sometimes be the victor and sometimes the conquered.  Nights he would never be the loser, however.

Gelan couldn’t wait to officially make Wynhod his Nobek.  Two weeks sounded like an eternity right now.

Chapter 11

Gelan felt incredibly sore the next morning.  Seeing him move slow and stiff seemed to make Wynhod rather cheerful.  The Nobek’s solicitous offer of stim tabs and pain inhibitor was accepted with a scowl, though Gelan prized every ache as well as his fatigue.  The night before had been every bit as arduously delightful as he’d hoped.  Wynhod had not spared him the slightest mercy.

Getting to work sent all thoughts of the night before away, however.  Gelan was eager to question Latwik and see if Krijero’s insights proved fruitful.  Wynhod went ahead of him to collect the Delir dealer and put him in an interrogation room.  Meanwhile, the investigator checked the guards’ reports from the night before.

Less than an hour after arriving at the precinct headquarters, Gelan entered Room 12 where Wynhod and Latwik waited.

Latwik was once more in a suspension field with an armed Wynhod covering him.  This time, however, his legs were bent as if he kneeled, and he was set low so Gelan could look down on him.  Putting the criminal Nobek in such a subservient position was an insult, designed to both belittle him and make him appreciate his helplessness much more.

Gelan stood over him, noting Latwik’s bloodshot eyes.  The reports had said the Nobek had not slept at all.  He’d tossed and turned on the hard floor.  For a Nobek, sleeping rough on an uncomfortable surface was normally no great problem.  They were trained from their earliest days in the camps to put up with the most troublesome of circumstances.  No, something definitely bothered Latwik to keep him on edge.

Right now the Delir dealer feigned disinterest in Gelan.  However, there was tension at the corners of his eyes and a muscle kept twitching in his jaw.  Gelan looked him over, snorted as if in derision, and leaned back on the table behind him.

“Well, Nobek Latwik, here we are.  Sleep well?”

One corner of the gang member’s mouth lifted in a vicious sneer.  “I might have slept better with some company in my cell.  You could have brought me that sweet Imdiko who was here yesterday.  I would have enjoyed him keeping me warm.”

A flash of anger sparked in Gelan’s chest at the thought of gentle, clumsy Krijero under the brute’s hands.  He had to steel himself to not respond to Latwik’s baiting.

“I thought maybe you’d have preferred a family member to talk to and share your sorrows.  Maybe your nephew, Nobek Byd?”

Latwik started at the mention of his kin, a youngling with a learning deficit disorder.  Gelan got a mean sense of gratification at the reaction; a little payback for the Nobek’s continued disrespect of Krijero.  The slight widening of Latwik’s eyes and increased rate of respiration made Gelan think the psych had been right about the dealer.  He did have someone he genuinely feared for.

Pressing his advantage, Gelan added, “At least if Byd was in here, you would know he’s safe.  That’s not the nicest neighborhood you and your sister are raising him in, especially since he requires supervision.  He’s easily led away by strangers, is that right?”

Latwik’s face had gone sickly pale.  He refused to meet Gelan’s gaze.

Gelan dug even deeper.  “Perhaps the rest of your gang will be so kind as to take care of Byd and Matara Eki since they no doubt know we have you here.  I’m sure their unprotected state is of great importance to them.”

Latwik snarled between clenched teeth.  “Get them out of there.  The others will kill my family.”

Gelan’s heart leapt at his words.  He’d ordered Byd and Eki collected before leaving work last night.  The pair were presently in a safe house under armed guard.  The call he’d placed to check on them this morning had assured him mother and son were doing well.

Latwik didn’t need to know that right now.  Gelan was perfectly happy to see him sweat it out.

Instead, he asked, “Now why would anyone want to harm them?  A defenseless woman and her disabled son?”

Latwik bared fangs at him.  When Gelan didn’t react he reluctantly said, “They’ll kill one and hold the other hostage to keep me quiet.  If I remain alive for any length of time, they’re both dead.”

“Because as long as you’re alive, there is the chance you’ll talk.  Where is Matara Eki’s clan?  Surely they should be around to keep them safe.”

The prisoner snorted.  “She never clanned.  The Dramok who fathered Byd wasn’t part of a clan, and he’s dead.”

“I suppose he was part of your gang?  Men do die quite young in that lifestyle.”

Latwik’s temper rose.  “Who gives a fuck?  I take good care of my family.”

Gelan shook his head.  “I’m sure you usually do, except you’re in here.  That’s not going to change, Latwik, and we are going to keep you alive.  I guess your family will have to take their chances.”

The Nobek screamed at Gelan.  “Damn you, the kid’s disabled!  He doesn’t deserve to die!  Especially the way they’d do it.”

“Well, maybe your friends will take pity on his condition.  And a fertile Matara is always in great demand.  Usually such a woman would be snatched up by powerful men by now, no matter her background.  Your sister would be quite a catch for your lowlife associates.  No doubt someone will be happy to take Eki in.”

Latwik snarled.  “You bastard.  They’ll keep her around just long enough to rape her.  Get them out of there!”

Gelan arched an eyebrow at him.  “What’s in it for me?”

A thread of desperation filtered into the prisoner’s voice.  “If I talk, they’re definitely dead.”

Gelan leaned close, his face only inches from Latwik’s.  “If you don’t talk, they’re the gang’s meat.  I will not lift one finger for them, Nobek.  Your friends can have them with my fondest wishes.”

His stomach curdled at what he said despite knowing the threat was empty.  It was unthinkable he would leave an endangered woman out there unprotected.  Not to mention a disabled boy who would never be more than a child in mind.

Gelan could see Latwik’s mind working frantically, trying to find a way out of his situation.  At last the Nobek’s body sagged in its containment.  Gelan’s heart leapt; he was giving up.

His expression set, the dealer asked, “I give you information, and you’ll get Eki and Byd to safety?”

Gelan nodded.  “You give me names of the gang leaders and the central location where your group operates from, and I promise your sister and nephew will get new identities.  The department will set them up with whole new lives elsewhere.  I think Eki would enjoy a fresh start, don’t you?  A chance to do things over, maybe find a clan who will care for her and Byd?”

Latwik drew a shuddering breath.  It was obvious he was desperate to protect his family members.  Dangling the promise of a better life for them only pushed him to cooperate even more.

As a law enforcement officer, Gelan too often saw the worst of his people.  But he had also come to realize that the worst often had a noble streak lurking somewhere inside.  It might be as slender as a hair, but it was usually there.

At last, Latwik spoke.  “No names.  And there’s not a central location where the gang does business.”

Gelan leaned back against the table again and folded his arms over his chest.  “No deal then.”

Latwik clenched his teeth, his gaze hectic on Gelan’s face.  “You don’t get it.  If I give the names up, there will be those who will hunt down Eki and Byd no matter how well you hide them.  Someone in the organization is a badass when it comes to getting through security and shit like that.  I don’t know who he is.  I’m just a dealer and gang enforcer, okay?”

Gelan stared at him.  Suddenly he wished he’d had Krijero observing this from the viewing room and giving comments via an earpiece.  He thought Latwik was sincere about what he said, but it would have been nice to get the psych’s insight right now.  Then again, he could always show Krijero the vid recording of this interview.

Damn it, I want to know what I’ve got here and now.  Next time, I’ll definitely have that Imdiko on hand.

For now he’d have to trust his own instincts.  Fortunately, his innate grasp of what was going on in a prisoner’s head had been pretty reliable in the past.

Gelan cocked an eyebrow at Latwik.  “What will you give me?”

The Nobek drew a deep breath, obviously bolstering his courage before speaking.  “I’ll tell you where the lab is.  I know where the Delir is coming from.”

Gelan’s pulse quickened, but he made himself look unimpressed.  “All I’ll find there are soldiers marching to orders, the same as you.  No one of any real importance.”

Latwik scowled.  “I’m not done.  I’ll also give you the locations of some of the meeting places I know about, the places where we get our orders.  There are computers there where whoever is in charge sends messages to.  It could be you’ll find some sort of trail you can follow that will give you the names of the guys in charge.  But you got to hit those places first before the lab.”
