"WHAT………..! sigh. Yes. I like her for a long time. Well……. although I got dumped"

"EH!? YOU GOT DUMPED!!?? UWAHHH~!"

"Shut up auntie! Why are you so excited…….."

Hibiya shyly lowered his head although he said that.

He is just a boy whose mind suits his age, that was what I had in mind.

.

However, although I hardly could understand what was being told, I still think that Hibiya’s situation, was really cruel. I don’t think that, this little boy here can do anything.

.

"but I must save her"

However, ignoring the worries, Hibiya murmured, softly yet with determination.

"Well then, you must save her okay"

"……….Yes. Definitely"

Is there anything, that we can help.

Wait no, firstly why did Hibiya want to go by his own.

"Hibiya. I know you ran away because you wanted to save the girl, but that’s pretty troublesome right? Instead of being alone isn’t it better if everyone look for her together?"

"Haaa….." facing my question, Hibiya made a big sigh as if he was annoyed.

"Because even an auntie like you needs a long time to understand the situation right? Because it was urgent, so don’t you think there’s no choice but to make me think that it’ll be better if I go by myself?"

"uhm……."

Within a blink of an eye my words were completely debated by his.

I didn’t regret it, but I was impressed that “elementary school students these days are really smart”.

"Also……….."

"Also what?"

"Also, it’s okay if they don’t believe me, but it’s NOT OKAY if they stop me. Because I want to save her as soon as possible."

Hibiya’s eyes, were so young yet they steadily looked forward, they even seemed reliable.

.

However, that youth also contained a lot of weakness.

Hibiya who comes from the countryside, doesn’t understand much of this place, and he doesn’t have enough money.

Plus, because of his new born eye power he still doesn’t know how to use it by his freewill, so it’ll be terrible if a rampage happens.

.

"………. Still, I’m going with you. I’m worried okay"

As I said that, Hibiya stopped, and looked at me with an intrusting glare.

I wasn’t good at handling that kind of glare, so I grinned to cover it.

"What benefits you if an auntie like you helps me? Those people are like that too. Why do you want to help me? That’s the part where I cannot trust"

There was a thorn in Hibiya’s words, but I don’t know why that made it kinda cute.

That feeling, the reason why I couldn’t ignore this kid, was as easy as a pie.

.

"………………. just like my brother"

"Eh? What did you say?"

"All~right! Okay! If that’s the case then how’s this. I help you, if we found the girl, you stop calling me ‘auntie’, and also ‘cow’. And …..f-fat…… not even ‘fat’….."

Because of that word that even I couldn’t say it out loud, it became a fine start but a bad finish.

I shouldn’t put in too much momentum for the front part.

"Huh? What. That’s auntie’s ‘benefit’?"

"Yes. For me if that happens I’ll be very~ satisfied! Ah, I can be your partner if you want!"

I crossed my arms, and said it with confidence, Hibiya smiled for the first time.

"………. weird. Well then, what if auntie can’t find her? What will auntie do?"

"Hmm? Let’s see…….. I will……"

I was considering what will I do, but actually it wasn’t necessary, and it was easy to the max.

.

"What will the Mekakushidan say"

Because all I had to do, was to just tell Hibiya my answer, word by word.

.

Staring at Hibiya’s pupils, I clearly told him.

"…………… till we found her, I will always stand by your side"

.

Everyone in Mekakushidan, clearly understands how hard is it to face the problem alone.

I was saved by them, thus I can smile.

And now it’s my turn to stand by someone’s side.

As a Mekakushidan member that must be my most important mission.

.

.

.

"A-auntie why are you saying such words?"

Hibiya blushed, and turned his head.

And then to be honest I also realized that I said something that makes people embarrass, so my face also went hot, and I lowered my head.

Why the heck am I being shy towards an elementary school student.

When I was thinking about that, suddenly Hibiya’s body wobbled.

I quickly held his back, Hibiya regained his balance and pressed his head.

"Strange, what’s happening. I don’t know why I feel so unstable….."

"w-what’s wrong……… AAHH!!"

I looked at Hibiya’s face, it was blocked by his right hand, but I saw his left eye turning into bloody red.

Oh no. This colour of eye……. is undoubtedly the symptom of HIbiya’s power being activated.

Till now I haven’t seen any power that will cause destruction to the surroundings, but because the relationship between the powers are too unrelated, so I can’t predict what kind of power Hibiya has.

.

.

(((illust of momo)))

.

.

Looking at this development, my fear attacked.

No. Didn’t I just say I will support him. I must stay strong…….!

"Hibiya! Do you feel anything weird in your body?!"

"U-uhm. My body is fine……. but I don’t know why I can see weird things. What is this, clock tower… a building with around four floors. Is this…… a school. I can see some athletes"

.

Hibiya suddenly stared at the sky, and described a place.

And, the more Hibiya stated the characteristics, the more I noticed that was a place I knew.

"I-isn’t that MY SCHOOL?"

"EH!? THERE!? Ah, really, There’s a shoe locker written ‘Kisaragi Momo’. This is……. the staff room? Ah, ‘Kisaragi Momo’s’ Geography test result is……… ONE MARK!!??"

"UWAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!???? W-WHY DO YOU EVEN KNOW THIS!!??"

He suddenly stated my Geography test result, and it was undeniably correct.

.

Why did Hibiya know about that, if it’s Hibiya, eyes turned red, even the idiotic me could easily guessed out the power.

.

.

"T-
teleEye………
?”

"……. I think so"

When our eyes met, the red in Hibiya’s eyes faded away, turning back to its original colour.

"E-EHH?! I can’t see it now…. Why!?"

"Huh~ These eyes can really come up with anything"

From Hibiya’s new born power, I guess it’s a power that can see far views.

From the point where he could describe my school correctly, and even saw my test paper, I’m afraid it’s a power that he can see the things he wants to.

"Isn’t that amazing….."

I childishly dropped my shoulders.

Hibiya’s power, if there’s some kind of “Top Powers You’d Like To Have Chart”, it’d undoubtedly be one of the tops.

And just look at my power……… conspicuous. It’s always CONSPICUOUS.  It’d be better if I have a more convenient power, that was the first time in my life I’d thought about that.

.

"Eh? What? What’s going on!!??"

Hibiya panicked, he couldn’t understand anything at all.

Well of course. Because when I just had this power, I didn’t notice it either.

"t-that. In short, you have a power that you can see things from far away when your eyes turn red….. something like that"

"Red eyes…………..?"

"Yeah, just now, your eyes became red"

Hibiya stunned, then he gave me a bright look that I had never seen before.

"Means I have super powers!?"

"y-yeah…… sort of"

To be honest I also don’t really know what’s the truth of this power, but if that’s the case, well I think I’m not wrong.

But why did Hibiya want to see my school on purpose. I wonder why….

"I’m not too sure but, if I have TeleEye… means I can use this to find Hiyori!?"

Hibiya’s words made a click on my head.

.

THAT’S RIGHT. Isn’t Hibiya’s power the most suitable one to find a person.

If we use this power, to find where Hiyori is…….

"That’s right Hibiya! Great! Faster, try it again!"

"Y-YEAH!! AL~RIGHT. WWHHHOOOAAAA….. LET MMEEEE SEEEEE………"

Hibiya was just like a manga character whose hair’s gonna turn gold, he made his pose and started to work hard on it.

"WHHHHOOAAA……."

"YEAHH YEAHH! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!"

"GUUUUUHHH….. AAAHHHHH………….."

"THAT’S THE SPIRIT!!! FIGHT!!!

"HHHUUUUUU……. WWHHHOOOOAAA…………!!!!!!!"

.

.

.

………………………. I think 3 minutes passed.

I felt pity for Hibiya who was still working hard on it.

"…… still can’t see anything?"

"UUOOO….. CAN’T…. SEE ANYTHING AT ALLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!"

Maybe it’s because he still can’t use his power well, I guess he still can’t use it on his freewill.

It’s rare to have a power that can make Hibiya’s wish come true, but it’ll be useless if we can’t use it.

If only there’s a way to activate the power again, but is this a problem where we have a way just by concentrating.

.

"Mm~hmm this is really troublesome. If only we can activate it again, then we can see something….. ah"

.

A girl wearing mini skirt, passed by Hibiya who was trying hard on his power.

The wind blew the girl’s skirt, and Hibiya stared at the girl.

.

"Ah! I think I see something! That girl’s……. room? There’s a photo. … Ah, a mountain of clothes to wash……. UGH OUCH!!??"

I whacked Hibiya’s head, and the reddish colour in Hibiya’s eyes, instantly faded away.

.

"I SAY YOU!! ARE YOU ENERGETIC NOW?! AND HEYY WHAT’S WITH THE POWER’S CONDITION! A PERVERTED HEART!?"

"I- I DON’T KNOW!!! IT NATURALLY ACTIVATED!"

"Ah~ words like ‘I want to save her’. Oh well you’re just worth that age by the way"

"HELL NO!! Ahh, I don’t understand……"

Putting aside Hibiya who was trying to debate, in my head, popped out a hypothesis.

Oh no, if that’s the case then it’ll be really bad.

"Hey, Auntie. So how am I suppose to see where’s Hiyori…..?"

The first time Hibiya’s power activated was when “he saw me”. And he saw my school. The second time was on a girl’s….. wait no I mean when “he saw a girl”. And it turned out to be a nasty way to peek a girl’s room.

It only happened twice, I cannot confirm yet, but from these two examples the things Hibiya can see are………..

"You can ‘see’ places that are related to the people who you have your eyes on?"

"Eh? What does that suppose to mea……"

.

Just when Hibiya wanted to ask me, a car stopped beside us, and made a short honk.

I turned my head, and in the car, it was the person who I will not want to see the most during the holidays.

Yo, Kisaragi. So far so good with studyin’?"

"Teacher can you please be a bit more merciful when you greet….."

Opening the left window of the car, Teacher Tateyama who was talking to me, said in a playful way while dangling a cigarette in his mouth as usual.

"A-Auntie, who’s this person……?"

Hibiya raised his self-awareness when he saw a sudden appearance of a weird uncle.

"Ah, it’s okay it’s okay. He’s a teacher from my school"

"Eh, I see. He looks… funky."

Hibiya, I’m afraid he wasted some time to find an inoffensive word to use, and he chose the most polite one.

However, the word funky isn’t really a compliment either, it’s because the only backup words that can describe Teacher are dreadful.

"Oh, Kisaragi what’s up what’s going on? A date huh. Invite me to your wedding kay"

"Nono, that’s not it. I’m just helping this kid to find someone."

After hearing this Teacher stared at Hibiya for a while and grinned, then he used his thumb and pointed the backseat.

"If that’s the case, ya want me to drive you to somewhere? I’m pretty good at driving yeah"

"Nono, Teacher! This kid isn’t that kind of person!"

I firmly rejected, but Teacher looked really down.

"What’s with it why…… It’s Obon today but I have no place to go…. Is it that fun to leave me alone…….."

It was as if being upset wasn’t enough, Teacher started to evilly make negative appeals.

Nothing’s worse than negative appeals from an uncle in that age.

.

"uhm, that……"

Just when I sighed, Hibiya unexpectedly talked to Teacher.

"Oh? What is it lil kid?"

"Uhm…… I remember there’s a park in front of a bus stop, nearby the crossroad…. if possible I’d like you to drive us there."

For a moment I didn’t understand what was Hibiya saying, but after I recalled the setting Hibiya mentioned in the story that he said thrice, I understood Hibiya’s thought.

"That indeed is a good place…..! Teacher, can you help us please!?"

Teacher gave a happy look, but then he tensed his face, and pointed the backseat again.

Nope, to say the truth he just wanted to do a gesture.

"hum, I mean. Ride on, kids"

"Hibiya I think we should go ride a taxi"

"AAAAAHHH!!!!!!! I APOLOGIZE!! PLEASE RIDE MY CAR PLEASE!!"
