“Okay, hold on,” She hopped of the bed and rifled around in her nightstand drawer. “There was a long list of suggestions and lube was at the top of the list. I found some kiwi-strawberry in the trunk …”

Caelen
 …”

“Sorry.” She was rambling. Eager to get started, she spread the pink goo all over her hands and rubbed around and in between her breasts. She groaned long and low, so ready for him. He positioned his dick so she could reach forward and pillow it with her round breasts. His breath caught as she squeezed them first with her biceps, and once friction started to create mini goose bumps up and down her chest, she switched to her hands. She wanted it harder, pushed on either side of her breasts until he shouted out in pleasure.

Or was that her?

“Baby, you’re so sexy.”

“Do you like it?”

“You’re supposed,” he started to thrust his hips forward, obviously needing more, “to tell me what else you want to do.”

“I want to see if you like my teeth on you.”

“What? I don’t—”

She swooped down and noticed the look of terror on his face seconds too late. She had her teeth bared, only planning on lightly scraping him, when he started to scoot back. He couldn’t quite escape her mouth, so he tangled his hand in her hair. She moaned, and he barked out a,
hell no
. Finally, Caelen came up for air after he refused to let her give it a try.

“I’ll be gentle, I just wanted to try it out. Some men love it.”

He growled. “No.
Teeth.”

Was it the mention of other men? No. It was definitely the teeth. “Okay, okay. Sheesh.”

He looked so tense she felt sorry for him and decided he still needed a little attention. “I’m really sorry. This is all about you. No teeth, I promise.”

“Damn, straight. That’s a big fear. Nightmare-sized fear.”

“Big fear. Got it,” she said as she started peppering kisses along his semi erect penis. The teeth thing had affected him so deeply that he’d actually gone soft, which inspired her. She had always wanted to try the … “Soft Serve.”

“What?” he said hesitantly, his hand still tangled in her hair.

“You trust me?” She smiled, aware she was throwing his own words back at him.

He hesitated only a second, and then pulled his hand from her hair. “Always. As long as we agree on no teeth.”

She nodded her confirmation, so he settled back down, still watching her every move. She engulfed him, placing his entire penis in her mouth. Softly, she suckled him, undulating her tongue against his. The feel of him growing and hardening inside of her was amazing. It reminded her of how he might feel inside other places.

Soon, he was too big to fit, so she moved onto the next technique. True to her word, she announced, “The Criss Cross.”

“Yes.”
Dare said, and by his expression, he was too turned on to ask questions. His hands were touching her everywhere, as if he couldn’t help himself. Still, he watched.

Instead of bothering with an explanation, she placed two hands on his dick and began to squeeze and turn them in opposite directions. Then she placed her mouth over his head and sucked her cheeks hollow.

“So good. That one.
So good.”
He groaned and fell back on the bed. His hands clutched the sheet and his face screwed up in
need.

Caelen loved this one, loved the effect it was having on Dare. So she kept going and going, relentlessly, around and around.

Dare’s hand latched onto her hair, and she marveled that even though it was firm, he was always gentle, even in the throes of passion. “Nothing has ever felt so good in my life.”

So Caelen kept at it, allowing Dare to buck his hips, taking him in deeper and inching her hands down to give him anything he needed. He was mumbling, saying incoherent words and phrases that Caelen didn’t bother to pay attention to, until she felt a firm tug.

“Caelen, something’s wrong,” he said as he urged her on. “Feels so good, but I can’t come. I can’t…”

Finally, his words penetrated her lust-haze. She knew exactly what was wrong. He’d had so many orgasms in the last few days, his poor dick was on overload. All the starts and stops had thrown him off balance. It just meant that when he did finish, it would probably be the best orgasm of his life.

She could
give him the best orgasm of his life
. The idea of it was…
heady.
She was so turned on, she would have to appreciate her punny-ness, another time.

Power sang in her veins, making her feel brave and strong. This would be the perfect opportunity to try the Ice Cream with a Cherry on Top, but would Dare go for it? Some guys were really sensitive about the “cherry” part of the technique. No way she’d give him the heads up. Instead, she would keep her promise, no teeth. As for the rest, he said he trusted her, and she believed him. “Shh. It’s okay. I know what to do.”

She removed her hands and he groaned. Sitting up, wild-eyed he said, “Don’t stop!”

“I won’t. This is going to be so good, Goldie. I promise.”

“Yes! Fuck yes!
Yes!
I need it. Need
you,”
he mumbled as his head fell back on the bed, one leg bent, his hips grinding high.

She started slow, just giving a balls-to-tip stroke to his dick.
Yum.
So long and wide. Then she slowly massaged and tugged at his balls, his grunt an affirmation of pleasure. Hesitantly, one finger travelled beyond, under him to the smooth skin between his balls and his anus. Slowly and methodically, she massaged his taint.

’Tain’t this and ’tain’t that…

He jacked up straight.
“Caelen.”

He shushed him and concentrated on that area, not moving an inch more. He leaned in and pulled her up by the shoulders, kissing her, hard and fast, with teeth bumping and lips meshing.
Here goes nothing.
She pulled back from his kiss, latched onto his cock with her mouth, and took a mental deep breath. She suckled him, her cheeks hollowed, with every ounce of passion she had. Her hand inched past his sack, penetrating his anus just beyond the puckered rim, with her forefinger.

“Oh,
fuck!”
Dare bolted up, knocking her off balance as he shouted to the heavens. In her hand, she felt his cock convulse, stream after stream of his semen soaking her chest, her hand, his chest. As he came, he kissed her again, including her in the amazing experience, enveloping her in his warm arms.

After a few minutes, she asked with a lazy smile, “You ready to get started on that feedback?”

His arms tightened around her. “Don’t know if I’ll ever be able to talk about that,” he said with a rusty laugh. “That was… It was…” Not able to complete the thought, he finished with, “Thank you, Betty.”

His quiet words touched her to the core. So, they cuddled up. After a few minutes, Dare pulled back, readying to leave for the night. Caelen held tight. She wouldn’t—No,
couldn’t
let go. When he finally settled back in bed, holding her even tighter, she let out a long held breath, as he threw the comforter over both of them.

He held her the rest of the night.

Chapter 27

D-DAY

C
AELEN’S EYES POPPED
open, and before she took her first breath, the memories of the night before flashed in Technicolor brilliance in her mind’s eye. There was no confusion, no excuses, no hazy dreamland that would allow her to pretend she hadn’t let Dare have his wicked way.

No confusion about how she’d sleepily reached over to him, when he’d made a move to leave. No alcoholic haze that made her forget that Dare was now snuggled up behind her, his chest plastered to her back, crowding every spare inch of her personal space.

And for once, she’d take reality over fantasy. With Victor, all she’d ever done was pretend. She pretended he loved her, that he would put her first in his life, that he was a truthful person. Not anymore. No more pretending.

Dare was by her side, a good man that teased and tortured her but always,
always
made her feel special. He’d never hidden his feelings or played cruel games. Because of this, and because the idea of letting him go made the breath in her chest stall, she snuggled into him, content to hold on to every last second together.

He’d hate her soon enough, when he found out the truth. For now, she would cherish these stolen moments.

It was way too early to get up, the hazy sunshine filtering through the curtains, draping the room in a soft glow. Dare was everywhere, his scent surrounding her, and she couldn’t help but respond. His smell was in her pores, invading her cells, and it ignited a spark within her, a need. Surrendering to her body’s response, she felt her nipples pucker and her thighs weaken.

One of Dare’s arms was under her neck, pillowing her head, the other rested on her stomach, under her shirt, only inches away from her breasts. She fought the urge to slide down and nuzzle into his palm. Caelen kept her eyes shut tight, taking in slow deep breaths to calm her rampaging heart and aching body.

Dare shifted in his sleep, coming in tighter, pressing his pelvis against her soft bottom. Guess it was true what they said about morning glory. Dare’s hard length was firm and long, making itself known through his jeans and her pajama shorts. A small gasp escaped before she could stop herself, and her whole body froze when Dare’s deep, even breaths stilled.

When she leaned forward, he snuggled in tighter, his arm a tight band against her stomach, his stubbly jaw scraping against her cheek as he gave her a full body hug. She wanted to cry when he pulled back and sat up, running a lazy hand through his rumpled hair. This look really wasn’t much different than his usual style.

Time to say goodbye
. Caelen shut her eyes, not ready to watch as he gathered his shirt and left for good.

Instead, he pressed a soft kiss to her arm, obviously waiting for her to say something. Caelen rolled over to face him, but couldn’t muster the energy to put on a brave face. The fake smile she used to manage the men in her life just wouldn’t present itself, so instead she just looked her fill, tracing her gaze along his ruggedly handsome face. The cut of his hard jaw, his liquid, brown eyes, and soft,
soft
lips had become an addiction in only four short days.

The small smile on his lips faded and the furrow between his brows grew. The tilt of his head signaled he was trying to figure her out. She should sit up, give him a quick hug and usher him out the door before Ms. Hattie and the staff arrived to get ready for the event. Instead, the two of them continued to stare, not speaking, just taking each other in.

Finally, Dare leaned forward, laying his large frame directly on top of her. Unconsciously, she spread her thighs wide. He must have pulled on his pants somewhere in the middle of the night because the pressure against her core from the rough seam of his jeans made her eyes flutter shut in ecstasy.

He gathered his arms under her, tangling his hands in her flyaway hair, and brought her a few inches off the bed. The soft touch of his lips, brushing against lids she hadn’t realized were wet, was almost her undoing. But today wasn’t about tears, so she blinked them away.

She opened her eyes again, and he looked
tortured.
She raised a hand and caressed his cheek, trying to take his pain away. Pain, she knew, she was ultimately responsible for.

“I won’t let you go.” No pretense, just raw truth.

The intensity of the declaration shook her. There was no reason to respond. It was now out of her hands. Because of the stupid choices she’d made, the faith she’d had in a married man, he would never forgive her. She wouldn’t have to say goodbye, he would do it for her.

His hands tugged, still trapped in her hair, making her scalp shiver and goose bumps race down her spine. Then, he kissed her. Feather soft, gentle sprinklings across her lips, cheeks and face.

One last kiss goodbye
.

Then she let her arms fall to the bed. She let him go.

D
ARE BURNED, WAS
swamped with an urge to brand this woman, make her his, mark her so deeply she wouldn’t even think about leaving him. Because that was what she was trying to do.
Leave. Him
. The words hung between them, unspoken yet heavy in the air.

The idea of it made him crazy, but he wouldn’t rush this. He would take her as he always imagined, slow and deep ’til he broke through her walls, until he was inside so far she couldn’t let him go. Wouldn’t want to say goodbye.

He stood and saw the tears trapped in her long lashes. Were those for him? Dear God, he hoped so. He stripped off his jeans and burrowed under the covers. Caelen still didn’t speak but she welcomed him with open arms.

Her creamy chest pressed against him. He eased back, groaning long and low, the puckered peach nipples straining forward, begging for his kiss. He opened his mouth, rolling her pebbled peaks between tongue and teeth. Her small gasp was ambrosia, making him suck harder.

It wasn’t enough. He wanted more, needed more. With one hand, his mouth still intent on her breast, she stripped her pajama shorts and panties away with a tug. Nothing remained between them. She pulled back and her plump breast slowly slid from his mouth. Frowning because he wasn’t finished, he took a deep breath in relief when he felt her small hands swiftly caress him. He felt his raging hard on slide against her knowing fingers, and he had to fight back the urge to impale her, to enter her long and hard ’til she felt him inside her womb.

Instead, he reached over the side of the bed, grabbing for his jeans and finding the condom in his back pocket. It’d been there since meeting Caelen.
Never expect but always prepare,
a lesson he’d learned a long time ago, and he sent a silent prayer of thanks to forward thinking.

Caelen squirmed on the bed, rubbing her beautiful naked body against him, her eyes halfway open, watching him as he placed the condom on his rigid cock. Passion lit her eyes from behind, making them glow a light green that pierced him and filled him with a warmth that scared him to his core. Because all he could see was her, all he wanted was her, like this, open to him, ready for his love.
