I was shivering, though it wasn’t a cold night, and Drake circled in front of me with a salacious grin. I felt like Little Red Riding Hood with the way he gazed at me, his otherworldly eyes hungry, and he licked his lips. I told myself it was a dream, that I’d been knocked unconscious when I’d been taken, and this was my mind’s manifestation of danger, but as Drake moved to stand with mere inches separating us, his body heat almost equaling the heat of the flames as it radiated from his chest, I swallowed hard against the dread that still encroached.
Then he kissed me.
Long and hard, deeply, sensually, and I fell under the spell, tilting my head and letting my tongue dance with his as he pressed me against him with both hands splayed over my back. I couldn’t touch him, my hands still bound, and I felt more than heard the slicing motion that removed the rope as my hands came free.
They shook as I touched his chest tentatively, and I sensed power, raw and thriving, as if it was fighting its way to the surface. All of it felt too real, the reaction my body had to the kiss, the hardness of his chest, and the heat of the bonfire behind him that lit up the forest around us like the sun at midday.

It settled something deep inside me as the hands on my body ran from my neck over my shoulders, down my arms, over my hips, up my legs, and roved over my back. It was intoxicating, likely heightened with the strangely earthy location and the testosterone-riddled group of men and beasts around me. My reaction was so atypical I didn’t even recognize myself in that moment. Things deep inside, intimate parts of me between my thighs, throbbed, and I wanted someone to touch me in places I’d refused anyone access to before.
My head fell back on my shoulders as hands massaged them so I was completely loose from head to toe, and Drake’s fingers curled around my chin, drawing me back into a kiss that made my legs weak, the hands that felt like they were multiplying the only things that kept me steady. I was enraptured, and I barely noticed as he drew my blouse over my head, until he moved to the side and the heat of the fire touched my nipples. They puckered, my breasts feeling heavier than usual, and my eyes flew open as a pair of lips closed over one taut peak.
I looked down to find a strange man, probably my age, with white-blonde hair and silver blue eyes gazing up at me as he teased me with his tongue, and I gasped for breath as a spark went straight from the spot his tongue licked through my stomach and into my core. I was hot, and not just on the outside now, as molten lava shot from that heady spot below through my veins.
