“That isn’t how I wanted our first time to go.  I planned on making slow sweet love to you,” he explains looking remorseful.

“I have to admit I didn’t picture it going down like that either.  I had no idea you were dirty like that Cooper.  I’ve never had anyone touch me there.   I mean it wasn’t nasty or anything.  Damn it! What I’m trying to say is you blew my damn mind and you can fuck me any way you like if I get to keep feeling like that.”

Cooper starts chuckling.  “So, what you’re telling me Skye is that you loved what I did to your body?” he reiterates.  I nod my head in agreement.  “I knew we were perfect for each other,” he comments turning to me and kissing me on the lips.  “Ready for round two?” he asks climbing between my legs immediately sliding his ready cock easily into me.

I throw my head back and moan as he slams into me.  I open my eyes to see him staring back at me with those bright blue eyes of his.  “I love you,” I tell him.

“I love you,” he responds.  He leans down to kiss me and I tangle my fingers in his soft hair pulling him closer to me as he continues to slide in and out of my dripping cunt.  I swirl my tongue around in his mouth and suck on his bottom lip.

Cooper adds a little swirl to his hip thrusts and I feel myself starting to climb that invisible peak again.  He covers my right breast palming it with his hand and rubbing the nipple between his thumb and forefinger.  I grab his ass forcing him to speed up his leisurely thrusts.  He laughs against my lips.

“My greedy little Skye,” he comments and lowers his lips to my neck.  He begins to thrust harder and faster and just as I’m about to come undone he bites me on the arch of my neck and I shout out loud my release.  Cooper quickly follows with a release of his own and then collapses on top of me.

“Merry Christmas,” Cooper mumbles against my shoulder.  I glance at the clock to see that it’s after midnight.

“Do you think that they’d miss us at Grandma Rose’s for Christmas if we just stayed home and made love all day?” I ask Cooper half-jokingly.

“Since everyone is waiting to see you with your cast off, I’d have to say yes.  They would definitely notice if we didn’t show up,” he answers and kisses me on the nose.

Cooper slowly climbs from on top of me and hops out of bed.  He runs to the bathroom and returns with a warm wet washcloth and washes the evidence of our lovemaking away from between my thighs.  He has got to be the sweetest man on the planet.

He hops over me back into the bed.  He throws the covers over us and snuggles up behind me in the spoon position.

“Good night,” he says from behind me.

“Good night,” I respond and before I know it, I’m asleep.

Chapter Twenty-Four

Cooper

I didn’t mean to get kinky with Skye so quickly.  I didn’t know how she would respond to anal play, but once I saw that beautiful ass of hers I had to have it.  Luckily for me, she seemed to love it, but I didn’t press my luck again last night or during the other two rounds of sex we had this morning.

We’re getting ready to head over to her Grandma Roses to celebrate Christmas.  Skye’s in the master bedroom rushing to wrap her presents.  I’m already ready in my dark blue jeans, a modern-fit ribbed-knit gray cardigan with brown suede pockets and elbow patches that match my brown cowboy boots.  This is about as dressed up as I’m going to get unless it’s my wedding day.

I knock on the bedroom door.  “Come in,” she calls out.  I step inside the room to see her closing the front of her black wrap around dress.

“Wait a minute.  What’s that you have on underneath that dress?” I demand, pulling back the side of the dress, revealing red lacy lingerie.  I open both sides of the dress and suck in my breath at the sight of her body encased in red lace that wraps behind her neck like a halter and dramatically plunging past her belly button in the front with small scraps of lace covering her breasts.

“Please tell me those are crotch-less,” I implore as I push her towards the bed.

“Uh uh.  We don’t have time for that,” she informs me as she closes her dress again securing it with the attached belt.  “You weren’t supposed to see this until later.  It’s one of your Christmas presents,” she says, sitting on the edge of her bed to put on her heels.

“What if I want to unwrap my present now?” I pout.

“Too bad.  You can sweat all day knowing what’s under this dress.  Oh, and by the way,” she says propping her leg up on the bed exposing the pink flesh of her womanhood to me.  “They
are
crotch-less.”

I’m tempted to tackle her but we’ve already had sex six times in the past twelve hours and we’re going to be late if we don’t leave soon.  I take one last look at her pink goodness and turn around.  Why tempt myself by continuing to stare at it?

“I think you might want to rethink your shoe choice, Skye.  No heels for a while remember?” I remind her.  She sighs sadly.

“You can turn around Cooper, I’m done teasing you,” she says.  I turn around to see both feet planted barefoot on the carpet.  “It kind ruins the whole look if you have to wear flats,” she complains.

“You could be wearing a cast instead,” I remark.

“You’re absolutely right! Besides, I’ll need shoes I can run in so that you can’t catch me,” she teases, sticking out her tongue.  She slips on her snow boots and puts a pair of ballet flats in her purse.

“I’ll put the gifts and the macaroni and cheese in the cab of the truck while you finish up,” I tell her.  I grab two shopping bags of wrapped presents and walk them out to the truck.  I walk back inside and get the casserole dish of macaroni and cheese Skye made as a side dish for the dinner at her grandma’s.  I’ve never had her cooking before so I can’t wait to taste it.

When I come back in for the last time she’s putting on her black peacoat, red knit scarf and matching knit cap.  She looks absolutely adorable and I can’t help but lean down and kiss her on the nose.

“Alright, beautiful, let’s go,” I say offering her my arm.  She looks down at it, smiles and hooks her arm through.  I walk her to the truck opening her door for her and closing it behind her once she’s in.  I hop into the driver’s side and start the engine.  I look at Skye and she’s got a goofy grin on her face and I can’t help but think I just past some imaginary test of hers.

I shrug my shoulders and back out the driveway.  We arrive at Grandma Rose’s house in less than three minutes and it looks like everyone else is already here.

“Wow, I wonder who all these cars belong to?” she asks out loud.

I don’t respond.  I just park in the driveway grateful that someone thought to leave spot open close to the house so Skye doesn’t have to walk too far.  I jump out of the truck and run around to the passenger side opening the door for Skye and helping her down.  I grab the Mac & cheese out of the back. I’ll get the rest later.  We head to the front door.

Summer whips the door open before we even get up the stairs.  “Merry Christmas!” she shouts running out the door and throwing her arms around Skye.  Skye just laughs hugging her back.  Summer pulls back, taking in Skye’s appearance.  “You look beautiful Skye.  There’s a glow about you,” she remarks in awe.

“Thanks, Summer.  You’re looking good too,” Skye says bracing her hand against the newly painted siding of the house to take off her snow boots and slip into her flats.  She knocks the snow off the boots and places them on a rubber mat inside the front door and walks in, with Summer leading the way and me following close behind.

The inside of the house has been redecorated in warm earth tones.  The old carpets were removed to reveal hardwood floors.  There are Christmas stockings hanging over the fireplace and a large Christmas tree next to it.  Sitting on the beige sofa and loveseat are a mix of her family members and mine.

Skye looks at me in surprise.  “Skye you’ve met my Dad, Harold.  This is my younger brother Scott home on winter break from college,” I introduce her to a younger version of me with brown eyes like my father’s.  “I don’t know who the young man next to him is,” I say, gesturing to a young man with black hair spiked in the front and slightly slanted hazel eyes. “And of course, you know Jason Greene, the owner of Acorn Grove Bar & Grill.”

“This is my friend from school, Noah Fukui.  He didn’t have anywhere to go for the holidays so I invited him here,” Scott introduces his friend to us.

“Nice to meet you Scott, and Noah,” Skye replies.

“Where’s Mom?” I ask my father.

“In the kitchen with the other women,” he replies, taking a sip of what I can only guess is hard eggnog because it leaves a frothy mustache behind on his upper lip, as he sets the glass down on the wooden coffee table.

I take Skye’s hand and pull her towards the kitchen with the now cream colored walls new black distressed cabinets with tan granite countertops and all new appliances.  Dawn is sitting at the round kitchen table with a tall black woman with short cropped hair, beautiful mahogany-colored skin, and large luminous dark eyes.

“If I didn’t know any better I might think I have a reason to be jealous of Summer’s best friend,” Skye whisper’s to me, noticing the way I’m staring at the woman.

“Summer’s best friend?” I ask.

“Yes, the vision you can’t seem to tear your gaze away from.  Her name is Jade Sloan.  She and Summer met in high school and became thick as thieves,” she responds.

“Hi, Jade.  It’s great to see you,” she says walking over to the woman.  “I’d like you to meet my boyfriend Cooper Talbott,” Skye says making the introductions.

“Hello Cooper,” Jade says in a low melodic voice with an African accent.  “It’s nice to meet you,” she slowly finishes.

“Merry Christmas Dawn,” Skye says, acknowledging her sister's presence at the table.  Dawn doesn’t say a word she just stands up, walks over to Skye throws her arms around her neck and starts bawling.

“I’m so sorry I said all those bad things about you.  I didn’t deserve to live.  I’ve been so cruel and selfish,” Dawn continues to cry and mutter almost incoherently.  “I know that none of us are promised tomorrow.  I’m sorry Skye, I’m so sorry Jade,” she says turning towards Jade and then runs out of the room.

“Why is she sorry for you Jade?” Skye asks in concern.  It’s amazing that out of all that rambling and crying the only thing Skye honed in on was the fact there was something wrong with Jade.  Every pair of eyes in the room turns on the beautiful woman in expectation.

“I’ve was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer two years ago, but I’m in remission now.  Summer told me about what happened and the rift between you two.  I was trying to express the importance of family, love and forgiveness to Dawn because tomorrow isn’t promised to any of us,” Jade woefully explains.

“Thank you so much for that Jade.  You haven’t ruined a thing.  If anything you always make everything brighter with your kindness and bright smile,” Skye compliments her.  Jade smiles in appreciation, revealing that gorgeous smile Skye just mentioned.  “Come give me a hug,” she tells Jade holding out her arms.

There’s not a dry eye in the room as everyone returns to what they were doing in an effort to make Jade feel comfortable and no longer the center of attention.

“Looks like you’re getting around pretty good on your new leg Skye,” her mother comments, trying to change the topic.  “I did see you walking a little funny, though, is it sore?” she asks in concern.

“It’s not her leg that’s sore, it’s what’s in between them that’s sore,” Summer comments walking in on the heels of her mother’s remark, winking lecherously.

Grandma Rose guffaws.  My mother turns beet red, Skye’s mother and Jade cover their mouths as Skye ducks her head in embarrassment.  I do the only thing I can think of and shrug my shoulders.  The whole kitchen erupts into a fit of giggles.  I take that as my cue and exit stage left, completely abandoning Skye.

“What’s going on in the kitchen, Son?” my father asks as I walk out.

“Trust me, Dad, you don’t want to know,” I caution him.

                                                                      **************

Dinner is ready and we’re all gathered around the large trestle table in the dining room.  Grandma Rose sits at the head of the table with six people lining each side of the table.  I’m glad Skye added this room and got rid of the antiquated parlor or all of us wouldn’t be able to dine together.

“I hope you enjoy the fact that our families are together for the holiday.  That was one of my gifts to you.  I know how much family means to you,” I say, for her ears only and then kiss her on the top of her head.  She smiles up at me in gratitude.

“Alright, you two love birds. It’s time to say grace.   Harold will you do the honors,” Grandma Rose asks my father.

“I’d be honored,” my father responds, standing.  “If you’ll all bow your heads with me.  Father, we thank you for this wonderful food you’ve put before us, we thank you for the family and friends beside us and those who couldn’t be with us today, we’d like to take the time to thank you for our many blessings and may we always take the time to be mindful and grateful for what you’ve given us and not just on days like today, but every day.  In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.”

“Wow, thank you for that wonderful blessing Harold, that was beautiful,” Grandma Rose thanks my father.  “This table is so quiet.  You know what this house is missing?”
