“Not me, man,” Brian said. He pointed to Rasheed, who just laughed.

“You haven’t told her?” Rasheed asked, holding out his hand to Brian. Brian grabbed a beer and handed it to him, assuming that was what he wanted. It was, and he unscrewed the top and took a drink.

“We’ve known each other not quite twenty-four hours,” Ty said dryly. “I thought we could work our way up to that.”

“And how long do you think that might take?” Randi asked seriously. “A week? Maybe two? Before you tell me, I mean.” She swiped a finger across her phone and tapped the screen. “Usually I don’t get shot for a guy for almost a month, so we’re on an accelerated schedule. How about next Tuesday, maybe?”

“Next Tuesday sounds good,” Ty said, humor in his voice.

“All right,” Randi said. “Let me put that on the calendar.” She began typing with her thumbs. “Ty going to tell me he’s into kinky shit. There, I’ve put that in. Now a reminder to myself.” She tapped the screen again and then spoke into her phone. “Tell Ty I’m totally into that.”

Brian was biting his lip, trying not to laugh.

Jo Jo immediately got out his phone and looked at it. “I’m good for Tuesday,” he said.

“My schedule’s clear,” Rasheed said, sipping his beer.

“I can cancel my dinner reservations,” someone said from down the bar.

“What about you?” Randi asked. She was looking at Brian.

“I think I might be busy,” he said, refusing to look at Ty. “Sorry.”

Jo Jo’s mouth dropped open dramatically. “Are you nuts, man? Chick like this makes it known she’s into your ass, you say when and where. End of story.”

They had no idea how much he wanted to say that. His palms were sweating at the thought of fucking Randi with Ty. But he knew damn well that would never happen again. Ty wouldn’t let it, and Brian shouldn’t want it. He’d done that dance before and it had nearly broken him.

“He can’t,” Ty said flatly. “He’s married.”

Brian looked at him in surprise. Ty was behind the times. “Divorced, actually,” he said.

Now Ty looked surprised. “You left Janine?”

“It was a mutual parting of the ways,” Brian said. “It turns out the only thing we had in common was you. She sends her best.”

Ty smiled and there was a hint of nostalgia to it. “Janine always gave her best.”

“She did and I imagine she still is,” Brian said, smiling back. The truth was he and his ex had an almost-too-good-to-be-true split. They were still good friends and there were no hard feelings, even though she’d been the one who slept around. Brian didn’t blame her. He’d known what he was getting when he married her. Just turned out it wasn’t what he wanted after all.

“Your loss,” Randi said with a shrug. She chugged the rest of her beer and handed Brian the empty bottle. Then she awkwardly climbed up on the bar and reached for Ty. He moved closer to the bar at Brian’s side and she wrapped her arms around his neck. Ty lifted her off the bar into his arms. “Take me to bed,” she told him, wrapping her legs around his waist. “I’m horny.”

“Yes, ma’am,” he said with a laugh. His eyes caught Brian’s as he turned and Brian wasn’t sure what he saw in them. The moment passed quickly as Ty headed toward the house. The two of them looked perfect together.

“That’s how you respond to a woman like that,” Jo Jo said wistfully. “Where can I get one?”

“Over here!” a voice called from the pool, and peals of laughter followed.

Brian had lost interest in everyone else. The sight of Ty carrying Randi like that had slammed into him with a painful sense of déjà vu. He’d been here before, standing on the outside watching Ty walk away with a girl in his arms.

“Hey, Ty!” Brian heard someone yell. “Where are you taking that girl?”

The whole room erupted in laughter around them. The party was crowded, and the tiny apartment didn’t help. It seemed to Brian every square inch of space was occupied. He leaned back against the wall near the beer kegs, which were sitting on the kitchen’s pass-through counter. Even though he was officially off the clock, he was monitoring how much alcohol the university football players had. He didn’t want any incidents to mar what was turning into a winning season. He was only a student intern on the coaching staff, so it was easy for him to fit into scenes like this, unlike the older coaches. The head coach hadn’t ordered him to keep tabs on the players, but he read between the lines and the directive was understood.

The redshirt freshman Ty Oakes had surprised him this season. He was the third-string quarterback, but he was playing like a starter at practice. He’d really taken to Brian’s coaching style, which included heavy physical training every morning and lots of visualization. Brian was pretty sure the head coach would have kicked him out with a spiked boot if things hadn’t gone so well. He’d been pressured by boosters to give Brian the internship, and wasn’t too happy with a “New Age quack”—his words—on his coaching staff. Ty’s progress in practice was the main factor in Brian’s continued presence with the team, though he hadn’t told Brian that in so many words.

Ty had two weaknesses: alcohol and fucking. Not sex. Not romance. Fucking. It was as if he’d arrived at college and suddenly discovered what his dick was for. If someone on this campus was fucking, there was a good chance Ty was somehow involved. And apparently it was better when he was drunk. There was no doubt about it, Ty Oakes was the life of the party. Any party, since he apparently was an equal-opportunity fucker. Boys, girls, men, women, individually, by twos or threes or more, Ty loved it all.

And Brian hated it.

He could see Ty’s career spiraling down the toilet if he didn’t get a handle on it. He was good enough to start thinking about the NFL, or would be with a little more coaching. Ty had scoffed at the idea, never imagining he’d go beyond college ball. But Brian, and to his credit the head coach, had told him differently. He was wicked smart, quick on the field, and played a strong passing game. But Brian had seen all that amount to nothing before, because some young kid in college couldn’t keep a handle on his extracurricular activities. Brian genuinely liked Ty. A lot. He was determined Ty wouldn’t be one of those statistics.

The tiny apartment was actually Ty’s. He shared it with two other players, both of them also redshirt freshmen, in their second year of college and their first year of playing. Ty was smart enough to make Academic All-American, and would, Brian was sure. He’d redshirted his first year, opting not to play with the team, only practice, because the starting quarterback was too good. Brian knew it had been a smart move. Ty would have wasted a year of eligibility sitting on the sidelines. But Dobby would graduate this year, and if Brian and Ty had their way, Ty would take the starting quarterback position next year.

Ty came into view, carting a girl over his shoulder. Brian had no idea who she was, but she was laughing and squeezing Ty’s ass, so she was clearly willing. Brian understood all too well everyone’s hard-on for Ty, guys and girls alike. He was amazing looking, tall, built, blond, and blue-eyed. He’d done a little modeling on the side for a local agency to make money over the summer. He was the stuff NFL dreams were made of, but he was also a terrific guy. Nice, friendly, modest. He’d give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He had a smile for everyone, every day. And nothing ever upset him. He was as calm and cool as they came. Perfect for a quarterback.

“Brian!” Ty said, spying him. He veered to the right and came over, still carrying the girl over his shoulder. “Meet Janine,” he said, spinning so Janine could see him.

“Hi,” Janine said with a smile. She had long brown hair that was partially covering her face as she looked up at Brian. He could tell even from her awkward position that she was pretty in that Colgate-smile, eat-your-Wheaties sort of way that Midwestern girls had.

“Hi,” he said, as if this were a normal conversation.

“Want a beer?” Ty asked Janine over his shoulder.

“Sure,” she said, still laughing.

Brian did the honors, pouring two red Solo cups half-full of beer. Ty looked inside them with a frown. “Are we rationing the beer?” he asked.

“I am,” Brian said, passing the cups to Janine.

Ty just sighed. “Don’t spill it on my ass if that’s all I’m getting,” he warned her.

“I’ll lick it off,” Janine said happily.

“Now that’s an offer I can’t refuse,” Ty said, wagging his eyebrows at Brian. “Want to help?”

It took Brian a moment to realize Ty was talking to him. He was suddenly hot and flustered and felt conspicuous, as if the entire room were watching and listening. Which they weren’t. Ty’s antics were old hat to this crowd. They were eating and drinking and dancing and making out without paying any attention to what was happening in Brian’s little corner.

“I, ah, better not,” Brian said. “Thanks, anyway.”

“Ah, you know you want to,” Janine said, leaning around to look at him. “Oops. I spilled some. I think it went down your pants.” She giggled.

“I know it did,” Ty said, shaking his ass a little. “And it’s cold.”

Well, of course it went down his pants
, Brian thought with aggravation. The man wasn’t wearing a shirt to stop it. And that was causing more havoc in Brian’s overactive imagination. It wasn’t the first time he’d been aware of Ty sexually, but he’d never really been attracted to men before Ty. He wondered how many guys on campus were questioning their sexuality with those exact same words.

“If you’re sure,” Ty said, and he sounded disappointed. Brian didn’t take it seriously. Ty was probably in the mood for something kinky and just looking for the nearest available relatively sober guy he knew.

“But, Ty,” Janine cried out as he started to walk away. She was facing Brian and pouting. “I want him. He’s cute. Make him come.” She laughed out loud. “I mean with us. Make him come with us. Then he can come with us.” She laughed like that was the funniest joke she’d ever heard.

Ty stopped and turned back to Brian. “English majors,” he said with a little grin. “Always ready with the pun.” He winked. “The lady insists,” he told Brian. “Come with us. I want you to.”

“And do what?” Brian asked, playing dumb.

“Have sex,” Ty said, as if it was the most natural thing in the world. “It’ll be fun. Come on.”

“I’m not sure that’s a good idea, Ty,” Brian hedged.

“Why not?” Ty asked, frowning. His confusion seemed genuine.

“Well, technically, I’m a coach,” Brian explained.

“Technically, you’re a student intern,” Ty replied. “Not the same thing. And don’t think I didn’t notice that you didn’t say you don’t want to have sex.”

“I’m a man. I always want to have sex.” Brian sighed. “But if I have sex with you and Janine I think it will affect our working relationship.”

“That’s bullshit. I’ll still ask ‘How high?’ when you say jump. Now come on. Because I really want to fuck. With you.” He patted Janine’s ass. “And you.”

“Good to know,” Janine said wryly. “I thought you’d forgotten about me.” She winked at Brian. “Technically, you’re nothing but a studly piece of meat to me, so there’s no barrier to our fucking like bunnies.”

Brian snorted with laughter. “True. When you put it like that.”

Janine reached out and grabbed his arm. “Gotcha. Let’s go, Ty, before he tries to run away.”

“Yes, ma’am,” Ty said. Brian didn’t try very hard to get away as he let Janine tow him along.

A few people laughed at their little train and made some rude comments, but overall it was treated as just another night at Ty’s. Brian tried not to think about that too hard. Ty stepped into a bedroom and Brian let Janine pull him in behind them without protesting. Ty kicked the door shut and tossed Janine down on the bed, where she landed with a delighted squeal. Luckily, she’d let go of Brian’s arm as she fell.

Brian immediately had second and third thoughts. He was trying to get Ty to stop fucking everything that moved, and now here he was joining in. What the hell was he thinking?

“Stop it,” Ty said to Brian cheerfully as he wrapped an arm around his shoulders and watched Janine shimmy out of her jeans and panties. She was hot. Long legs and full hips, with a perfect Brazilian on her pussy.

“Stop what?” Brian asked.

“Thinking so hard,” Ty said, squeezing his shoulder. “I know you. You always think too much.”

“You don’t think enough,” Brian countered. “This is a bad idea in so many ways.”

“Janine,” Ty said. “I think we’re going to have to convince him.”

“Oh, hell, yes,” Janine said, crawling over to the edge of the bed in front of them. She reached for the buttons on Brian’s jeans and he grabbed her hands.

“How drunk are you?” he asked, belatedly resurrecting his inner gentleman.

Both Ty and Janine laughed. “Not drunk at all,” she said. “I’ve hardly had anything to drink tonight.” She sat back on her heels. “Let me be frank, Brian. I’m a senior. This is my last year to do this sort of stuff. You know, fuck the quarterback and his friends and generally be a happy-go-lucky slut sort of stuff. Once I have that diploma in hand, it’s off to a boring adult life where I’ll be expected to marry, produce progeny, and work in some mind-numbingly boring job and pretend I’m happy. So, indulge me, yeah? Fuck me senseless tonight with Ty and make me a happy woman.”

“He’s only the third-string quarterback,” Brian pointed out.

“I’m working my way through the lineup,” Janine joked with a straight face. “And, just for the record, this isn’t the first time I’ve been with two guys. This isn’t the first time I’ve been with two guys with Ty. Have I cleared your conscience? Because I really, really want to do this.” She scooted to the end of the bed on her knees and placed her palms and forearms along Brian’s chest, coyly looking at him from beneath her lashes. “Pretty please?” She slid one arm around his neck. “You know, for a kind of short Sir Galahad type, you are unbelievably hot.” She bit his earlobe.

Brian looked helplessly over at Ty, who was standing beside the bed with his arms crossed, watching them with a wicked smile on his face. “Don’t look at me, bro,” Ty said. “I want to fuck as bad as she does. And she’s right. You are a Sir Galahad type. And unbelievably hot.”

Brian felt himself blushing again and cursed his awkwardness in these situations. He was no virgin, but he’d never done anything like this before. “Thanks,” he said. Ty laughed.

“I think that means go,” Ty said to Janine.

Her hands slid down Brian’s chest and slipped under his T-shirt, then slowly traveled back up, sliding the shirt up. “Holy crap,” she breathed. “You are built.” Brian stepped back and pulled the T-shirt off, tossing it aside. He knew he had a good body, he saw it in the mirror every morning. Not like the players, but cut and lean. “You have a freaking six-pack,” Janine said with wonder. “And you’re a coach?”

“I figure if I have to be there when they work out, I might as well do the same,” Brian said with a shrug. “But I don’t go crazy. I don’t need muscles like Ty’s.”

“No one needs muscles like Ty’s,” Janine agreed. “But we all thank God he’s got them.” She tugged Brian back with a hand wrapped around the waistband of his jeans. He felt like he should be taking charge, but instead he was letting Janine and Ty lead the way. He really didn’t know the boundaries here, wasn’t sure what was expected of him. And to be honest, while he was nervously excited about some potential sexual contact with Ty, he was in no way ready to fuck a guy. Not even Ty.

Janine unbuttoned his jeans and pushed them down just over his ass. “Commando, huh?” she asked with a grin.

“Laundry day tomorrow,” he told her honestly. She reached into his pants and pulled his dick out. At the first touch of her fingers, he jerked a little, but then he stood perfectly still and let her do it. A tiny little voice in his head was screaming out warnings. After all, he was the most inexperienced one in the room. What if it was a joke? What if the rest of the team came busting through the door to have a good laugh? But the rational side of his brain knew Ty better than that. Knew that the same sexual awareness he’d had of Ty, Ty had had of him. It had simmered between them since their first meeting.

“Jesus,” Ty whispered as he stared at Brian’s cock. After Janine pulled it out of his pants, she let it go, and it stood up against his stomach now, hard and aching. He could feel cool air on his balls, too. He had to spread his legs a little to keep his jeans from falling all the way to the floor. He was pretty blasé about his cock, to be truthful. It was big, wide, and long, and he knew it, but he’d been staring at it his whole life, so for him, it just was what it was. He used it to pee, and exactly five times to fuck. Tonight would be number six.

Janine was breathing pretty fast, and he could see her nipples were hard under her thin T-shirt. She wasn’t wearing a bra. Brian prayed Ty was as commando as they were, because he was dying to see him naked. He’d seen him before, of course. Ty was not shy. He stripped right down and stepped into the shower in front of everyone in the locker room. But Brian hadn’t seen him like this, where his being naked meant fucking was about to happen. His heart was racing.

“Ty,” Janine said softly, staring at Brian’s dick.

“Yeah?” Ty asked, his voice amused.

“Please,” she said.

Without another word, Ty pushed his shorts off and Brian got his wish. Ty had a great cock, too. Long, but not as wide as Brian’s, it had a curve to it when it was hard, dipping toward his left hip. Brian hadn’t known that, hadn’t seen it like this. Ty opened a drawer in the dresser and pulled out a strip of condoms. He ripped one off and tossed the rest on the bed. “For later,” he said with a grin at Brian.

Brian bit his lip, determined not to ask who was getting fucked later. He lost the ability to speak when Janine suddenly dropped back down to her hands and knees on the bed in front of him and took his cock in her mouth. He’d had blow jobs a few times in his life, but Janine actually knew what she was doing.
