As she came down, he was still with her, inside, and she embraced him there, clenching him in.
“The Whisper did promise me a better place when I finished my quest,” Costin said, resting in her with a carnal hum.
Dawn wrapped her arms over her stomach, as if she’d never let him go, even though he’d be returning to Jonah’s body soon.
“We’re both in a much better place,” she said.
As the waves continued outside, Costin spread through her inside, taking up the rhythm of eternal whispers.
