I didn't want to let go.

I never wanted to let go.

He was perfect.

Everything was perfect.

"Come, let's get changed and go out" He grabbed my hand and took me inside. "Now did you remember to pack that dress."

"The black one?" I raised an eyebrow in a suggestive manner. He cocked his head to the side and gave his special smile."No I didn't bring that one. I brought a nice evening one." I walked over to my suitcase. "I'll be a while."

"Take all the time you want . . ." He strolled over to me, placed his fingers under my chin and tilted my head up. "I've waited this long for you... I don't mind waiting a little bit more." With that he kissed me. The most passionate and affectionate kiss I had ever had in my whole life. The butterflies started fluttering in my stomach. When he pulled away. I wasn't sure if I would be able to stand up alone.

Him and his perfect mouth.

We walked hand in hand. People were walking past and not even taking a single bit of notice of us. It was wonderful to not have to worry about hiding and keeping everything secret. We could be ourselves and feel free to do whatever we pleased.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

“My friend has a bar here. I thought we could go, have a drink and I could introduce you. " He put his arm round my shoulder. "I can finally show you off. Let everyone know that I am with the hottest woman in England."

I gushed at his words.

I wanted to be shown off. I wanted to meet his friends. Maybe uncover something real about him. I beamed.

I wondered what he was like when he was younger?

What was he like before he became the boss?

All in good time, Georgina, all in good time!

He led me down a little back street. The bar must be close as I could hear the music, people cheering and the smell of cigarettes. I missed that smell.

We stopped at a little door and made our way in. I couldn't see anything it looked really dark. We went down some stairs and all of a sudden it was bright and loud. The bar was crammed with people. Maxwell headed straight for the bar never letting go of my hand. He pushed his way to the front.

"What do you want?" he yelled into my ear.

"Vodka and orange" I yelled back. He smiled and took his attention back to the bar.

A man wearing a tight white t-shirt with black spiky hair came over. "Maxwell!!!" He yelled, he took Maxwell’s free hand and shook it. "What the fuck are you doing here?"

"Just came away for the weekend" He placed his arm round me and pulled me close. "This is Georgina - my girlfriend."

My eyes widen. W
ell he couldn't exactly say I'm the PA he's fucking!!

To hear him say my name and girlfriend in the same sentence was breath taking.              "Hey" he smiled. "You can call me Brett. Right, you two must go upstairs to the VIP suite. I'm on a break soon I'll come and join you." HE leant towards me. "I have lots of stories to tell." He winked.

"Anything he says he's lying!"

With that Maxwell led me upstairs.

We took our seats in the flashy VIP area. There was not as many people up here like downstairs. A woman came over  took our drink order  and within seconds she was back. "All on the house" she beamed.

I looked over at Maxwell. "Well, it certainly pays off coming away with you." I took a sip of my drink his head was resting in his hands and his eyes blaring at me.

"When you're in that tiny dress it pays off coming away with you!"

I looked down at my red boob tube dress. I did look amazing. It hugged all my curves and showed off my best features-my legs.

I tilted my head the way he did and tried to copy his special smiles.

His eye widen and we were locked in our own world.

"Oh Miss Dawson" I shifted in his seat. "I will fuck you right here and now. I don't care who's watching." That was a threat. I had those tingles again.

To tell the truth I would jump on his lap and let him take me.

"But, I don't want any other man knowing how good it is to see my girl come."

I reached out and grabbed his hand. "Your girl?" I blushed. "That has a good ring to it. So, does that make you my man?"

A little grin came to his lips and took a sip of his drink.

Did I say the wrong thing?

Was I coming on too strong?

No, he had already told me he loved me. I felt the panic rush over me. Had I destroyed this weekend already?

Me and my stupid big mouth.

He leant forward brushing his fingertips along my cheek. "I'm yours" he seductively whispered. "I love you" with that his lips brushed against mine and the biggest smile appeared on my face.

I knew it was wrong?

I was engaged. But to have this man gain procession over me was out of this world.

"Ummm" said a voice, I looked up and it was Maxwell's friend who owned the bar. I felt heat in my face and shyly turned away. Maxwell grabbed my hand. "Am I interrupting?"

"No" Maxwell said. "Sit your arse down. I see you brought gifts." Referring to the tray he was holding there must of been over twenty shot glasses all filled.

"Perks of running the place" he took a seat next to Maxwell. "I thought we could have a party." Another woman joined the table, pretty  looking  with black hair and dressed in jeans and t-shirt. "This is Libby. My girlfriend."

"Girlfriend?" Maxwell looked confused. "What happened to the wife?"

Libby took her place at the table. "The wife is long gone" she spat. His eyes directly hit Maxwell. "You must be the long lost friend Brett has told me about."

"Indeed I am" Maxwell spat back. "This gorgeous young woman is my girlfriend Georgina Dawson."

"Please to meet you Georgina."

I gave a half smile. On first impressions I didn't like Libby and I don't think she liked me very much. All in the name of female rivalry.

"You too."

"Yeah yeah yeah!!! It's all nice. We are all introduced." Brett picked up a glass. "Let's get fucked!!"

"Cheers to that!" Maxwell laughed grabbing a glass and downing the shot. This was a whole new side to him. He actually had friends and he could socialize. I liked this Maxwell. I took a shot and followed his lead. Libby just looked at us as if she was too good to join in.

The night was turning into a blast. Maxwell was really enjoying himself. Libby had left apparently we were all too childish for her. Maxwell had gone to the bathroom and left me alone with Brett.

"So, how did you meet Maxwell?" Brett asked. I laughed the shots had affected me. "Really .... That's bad!"

"No," I laughed. "It's just not something I want to go into. It's complicated." I gave a sigh. I wished it wasn't complicated. I wish it could be straight forward.

Why was everything such a challenge lately?

"Well" Brett began. "I haven't seen like this in years." He caught my attention. "You know about Debbie." I nodded. "That really messed him up. When she walked away with Olivia it crushed him".

I felt a pang of despair for him. I remembered when he told me about Olivia. The agony he went through. My poor Mr Golden rule.

"But you!" He opened his arms. "What have you done to him?"

"What do you mean?" I hesitated.

"He's happy Georgina. He's socializing. You know many times I have had to beg him to come out?" He let out a little air. "That man would rather stay hidden away working. No, you're good for him. Never leave him. He needs you!"

Brett’s words hit me hard. Never leave him?

Oh, if Brett knew the full story....

I felt distraught. I was going to hurt Maxwell. I was engaged and Maxwell was introducing me as his girlfriend. That wasn't right. I couldn't be both. I couldn't live two lives.

I grabbed my bag. "I gotta go!" Brett looked surprised. "Can you tell Maxwell I've gone back to the apartment." He nodded and I left.

I ran all the way back to the apartment. I didn't stop until I burst through the front door. I closed the door behind me and fell to my knees.

What was I doing?

The tears came fast and my stomach twisted in sickness. Everything Brett had just said to me was a lie. A lie I had made him believe. I wasn't good for Maxwell. In a month or so I was probably going to get married and destroy Maxwell's world.

He needed more than me. He needed a loyal girlfriend. Not some stupid wanton woman like myself. I felt disgusting in more ways than one.

What I was doing to Blake?

Stringing Maxwell along.

Two wonderful men who could have anything or anyone they wanted and they wanted me. I was greedy and selfish. Everything like my mother was. The thought made me feel even sicker. This wasn't me!! I didn't go round hurting people. I had always been a good girl. When had I turned into this?

I heard the door close behind me. "Georgina?" Maxwell asked concerned. He knelt down next to me and ran a hand through my hair. "Why did you run here?"

I looked up and wiped some tears away. "I'm sorry" I wept. "I am really really sorry."              Maxwell cupped my face with both hands and looked lovingly into my eyes.

That's when I saw it.

This man was completely besotted with me.

It made me feel worse because deep down I knew I was completely besotted with him.

"Why are you saying sorry?"

"Brett said I was good for you. That I should never leave you and that you need me." I felt the tears rise again. "And I know that I am hurting you. I will hurt you like Debbie did."

Maxwell pulled me onto his lap and hugged me tightly. "Don't ever think you're like her. She just used me for a baby, somewhere to live and money. The minute she met someone else she was gone." He pushed some hair out of my face. "I knew the circumstances when I met you Georgina. Me falling in love you was an accident. A wonderful accident and do not regret anything we have done."

"But Blake?"

"But Blake nothing" He shook his head. "I know one day you may or may not marry him." His voice trailed off and he took a deep breath. "I'll just deal with it when it happens. At the moment we are here together and no one should get in the way of it."
