Andy and Chiz were only a little late by the time they arrived.  Judging by the knowing smirks they got from the club family, everyone had accurately guessed the reason for their tardiness.

The night passed in a whirl of congratulations and introductions.  The dominants and submissives that would be working at the dungeon were enjoying the party as guests, and ended up joining the congregation of the MC. Together they formed a happily loud and merry group.  There were a few minor hiccups to be resolved, all small inevitabilities that accompanied any such event.  But all in all, the night was a resounding success.  Andy wasn’t the only person who had watched Lyla’s performance in open-mouthed wonder. 

Andy was standing on the stage, a glass of champagne in her hand, looking over the sea of people before her, with their glasses raised to toast the success of the venture.  She picked out the faces of the club family, her new family.  This was her new life.  It was a full life.  One to be grabbed by the throat and shaken until it begged for mercy.  She found Chiz in the crowd, and blew him a kiss.  He returned it, much to the amusement of his brothers next to him.  This new life was full of love.  It was a good life.
