Isobel responded with a moan and his lips came down on top of hers, kissing her passionately while he held her head in place with his hands, stroking at her hair while his tongue danced with hers. The intensity was building once more and his cock found its way to her opening almost with a mind of its own, sliding fluidly inside her heat. She moaned into his mouth and Tyler maintained the pace as he started to move his body slowly and purposefully backwards and forwards in and out of her slickness.

His movements sped up and became more intense as her pussy contracted and squeezed around his shaft. He could feel his balls shifting and tightening as his own orgasm started to build, and almost as though Isobel could sense it, she started to match him stroke for stroke.

They were both panting with exertion as their bodies came together again and again, his balls slapping against her asshole and adding a new dimension to her desire. Isobel’s arms slipped around him and her nails dug into his shoulders as she clung on for dear life while he pounded her into the mattress. They were both dripping with sweat, but neither of them noticed or cared. All they could think about was the pleasure that was coursing through both their bodies.

Tyler looked down at her and thought that he had never seen her look so erotic or desirable. His cock ached as he thrust in and out of her, the wetness he encountered a mixture of her juices and his pre-cum. It took everything he had not to slam into her and pound her into the mattress, but as desperate as he was to explode, the need to make this last as long as possible was paramount. He was in absolutely no hurry to finish, and he slowed his pace down to a more languid one.

“Don’t stop, please, Tyler!”

“I’m not stopping, baby. I’m just getting started with you.” He had no intention of stopping any time soon, and could quite happily spend the whole day in bed fucking her. He couldn’t believe how much he’d missed her last night, and how joyful he’d felt when she’d walked through the door.

Tyler bowed his head down for another kiss and then pushed his body up; making sure that his cock didn’t slip from her. While he slid in and out of her his hands stroked over her skin gently, and Isobel gasped as his fingernails lightly grazed over her sensitized flesh. Her back arched up off the bed as he trailed his fingers down to her pubic mound and found her clit, applying pressure and rolling over the top.

He watched her face closely, gauging by her expression that she was close to climaxing again, and without warning he pulled out of her.

Isobel groaned in protest, her body feeling suddenly vacant and aching to be filled again. “No! Please!” She sounded almost desperate as she pleaded him to put his cock back inside her, but her pleas fell on deaf ears as Tyler backed away slightly, pulling her up and flipping her over so that she was now lying on her stomach.

He placed his hands on her hips, pulling her ass up as she automatically brought her knees up underneath her. Tyler loved to see her like this; open and wet, just waiting for him to slam back into her. And he was eager to oblige sliding into her pussy without needing to use his hands to guide himself.

She knew from experience that this was one of her favorite positions. She had told him previously that when he felt her from behind she could feel his whole length as he buried himself in her. It was also a position that he loved because he could feel her inner walls grasping him like a velvet glove as he slid in and out of her.

Tyler kept the tempo slow, gently gliding in and out so that the head of his cock pressed against her G-spot on the inward stroke, and almost completely came out of her on the outward one. He kept up the pace until Isobel began to push back against him, her cunt squeezing his shaft as she silently let him know that she wanted him to go faster.

He bent his body over her back, reaching forward to take her hands in his own and holding them next to her head. As Isobel’s climax drew closer, her grip on his hands tightened as her pussy contracted in readiness. Wordlessly, she pushed Tyler’s left hand down underneath her, guiding him to her heat.

“What do you want, baby?” Tyler’s voice was gruff next to her ear. “Is it this?” He pressed his hand into her, his finger brushing over her swollen clit. “Do you want me to finish you off?”

Isobel groaned. “Yes!” The single word held desperation, and there was no way that Tyler could deny her what she wanted.

He started to slide his finger over her pussy lips, touching his cock as it slid in and out of her and then bringing his finger back up to roll over her clit. She tightened her grip on the hand she still held and he knew that she was close to the edge. Tyler picked up the pace even more, slamming into her deeper and faster with every stroke, and making Isobel moan with every thrust.

When Isobel buried her face in the pillow, she knew that she had reached the point of no return, and Tyler pulled his hand away from her and placed both of them on her hips, pulling her back and into him as he ferociously thrust into her. As her muffled groans increased, her inner walls spasmed around his cock and he exploded with a groan of his own. Streams of molten cum hit the deepest part of her pussy and triggered another rippling orgasm from her.

Chapter Three

Time seemed to stand still as they lay on the bed, with Tyler draped over Isobel’s quivering body as they both struggled to catch their breath. Wrapping his arms around her, Tyler slid out and off her and then turned so that he was lying on his side with her cradled in his arms with her back to him.

“I missed you.” His voice was deep and heavy, contentment coming through in every syllable, and immediately Isobel stiffened in his arms. While he’d been missing her, she’d been worried sick about what it was he wanted, and ultimately what it was that
she
wanted as well.

Tyler felt her tighten up and he immediately came alert, his arms tightening around her as he kissed the top of her head. “What is it, darlin’?” Raising himself up on one arm, he turned her so that she was lying on her back, making it easier to see her face while they talked.

But Isobel couldn’t tell him what she needed to while they were naked side by side; it just seemed too sordid for her liking. She pulled away from his embrace and swung her legs over the side of the bed, getting to her feet and pacing across to the dressing table.

She looked at him in the reflection of the mirror above the vanity area, her eyes welling up with tears at the thought that what they had just shared could end up being the last time they ever made love.

“Isobel? Is everything okay?” Tyler got to his feet and walked towards her, his expression changing to one of genuine concern.

She couldn’t reply. She tried, she really did. But when she opened her mouth nothing came out and she promptly burst into tears. Tyler was right there in the blink of an eye, wrapping his strong arms around her shaking shoulders as she sobbed into his chest. “Sweetheart, what is it? Shhh, come on baby, calm down, please. You’re scaring me.”

What he said got to her more than anything else. The wonderfully strong and masculine Tyler James scared because she was having a meltdown was incomprehensible. She sniffed and hiccupped through a final sob and then pulled away from him enough to look up into his handsome face.

“I’m s-so sorry, T-Tyler. I’ve let you down h-horribly and you didn’t d-deserve it.” Isobel knew she was making no sense, but she couldn’t think straight.

Tyler kept his arms wrapped around her, and he looked down at her upturned face with a soothing smile on his. “Darlin’, you could never let me down. Tell me what it is that has you so upset and we’ll work it out. I promise.”

Isobel hiccupped around another sob as she slowly shook her head. “You can’t promise me that, Tyler. I think I may have totally screwed everything up.” She looked up at him with her eyes still full of tears. “I’m so sorry Tyler. I’ve been a complete idiot.”

“I doubt that very much, Isobel. Why don’t you come and sit down and we can figure out what ever it is that has you so upset.” Tyler moved away from her just enough to take hold of a hand and his thumbs stroked her wrist as he walked her over to the table. The fact that they were both still naked and disheveled after the passionate sex they had just shared was inconsequential.

Isobel waited until he had sat down and then she took a deep breath, hoping against hope that he would be able to understand why she had done what she’d done. “I was just so confused yesterday, Tyler, and I really did think I was doing the right thing. I know you’re going to be pissed off and you have every right to be, but I just needed to get my head straight and try to figure out what to do for the best.”

“I don’t doubt that for a minute, Isobel, but unless you tell me what’s been going on I can’t help you.” Tyler’s voice was full of patience, but Isobel could tell that he was getting really concerned. “Has somebody hurt you?” She could hear the steel in his voice and knew without a doubt that if anybody had hurt her they would pay a high price.

Isobel was quick to reassure him, hating the worry that she could see on his handsome face. “No, Tyler. It’s nothing like that, I promise.” It was her turn to take hold of his hand and reassure him. “I was just a complete idiot. I was told something by somebody and instead of confirming it with you I ran away like a scared child.”

She took another deep breath before continuing. “And then I made the situation worse by going to see somebody I shouldn’t have.” She could feel the emotion welling up again but this time she fought to keep it under control. She had to tell Tyler everything now, because if he found out later it would look like she had been keeping things from him, and one thing he could never forgive was deception.

Tyler frowned in confusion, obviously not knowing where to start or how to calm her down. “Why don’t you start at the beginning, Isobel? You said you were told something by somebody, so why don’t you tell me who that somebody was and what they told you exactly.”

Isobel nodded. He was always the voice of reason, but she wasn’t sure how reasonable he was going to feel by the time she’d finished. “Okay. The person I saw was Jessica, and she stopped me outside of the suite door yesterday after you’d left for your meetings.”

She could sense Tyler getting tenser by the second. There was definitely no love lost between him and his hopefully soon-to-be ex-wife, and just mentioning her name pissed him off. “What the hell did she want?” Even his voice had hardened and Isobel felt her stomach churn at the thought of how he was going to react when she told him what Jessica had said.

“She informed me that she was still a shareholder in all of your businesses and that when push came to shove you would choose her and your money over me.” She gripped Tyler’s hand and tried to reassure him by her touch. “And I wouldn’t blame you, Tyler. Who in their right mind would give up millions of dollars just to be with me?” She took another deep breath. “Especially when they have a beautiful wife who is willing to forget everything that’s happened and who obviously wants to be with you?”

Tyler stood up from the table, running his hand through his hair as he paced the room in an agitated way and obviously trying to get his thoughts and his words together. Isobel sat there silently, giving him the time he needed to think things through.

It was probably only a minute or two but it felt like hours, and then he stopped and turned to face her. “Okay, Isobel, I thought I’d made myself perfectly clear with regards to Jessica, but you obviously either didn’t believe me or didn’t want to believe me.” Isobel could tell by his face that he was infuriated, to say the least. “Jessica means absolutely nothing to me, and if I have to choose between her, money and you, you will win every damn time. This silly insecurity of yours has to stop before it causes real problems between us. If I could get my hands on the asshole that made you feel so insecure about yourself, I would ring his fucking neck!”

Isobel cleared her throat, feeling her face go red as she listened to his words. She knew she had to tell him that she’d met up with the asshole he was referring to, but she wanted to clear up any confusion or misconception regarding Jessica first. It made her feel good to realize that he genuinely seemed to believe what he was saying, but would he feel the same way if push came to shove and he was threatened with losing such a vast amount of money?

“We can talk about him later, Tyler. I just need you to know that if you did decide that we have to call it a day between us I would fully understand.”

Tyler stalked back towards the table and snatched up some letters, waving them in front of her face as he spoke. “Does this look like I’m choosing money over you, Isobel? Go on, take it.” He pushed the papers into Isobel’s hand, and she had no option but to take them off him, her eyes going wide as she read the header on the page.

She looked up at Tyler with a confused look on her face. “What is this?”

“It’s exactly what it looks like; a divorce settlement proposal.” He sat back down at the table opposite Isobel. “I wouldn’t care if I was penniless so long as I had you by my side, Isobel. But, as it turns out I have a few pennies tucked away that Jessica doesn’t know about, and she’ll never get her hands on.” He gave her a small smile before continuing. “She’s always been a sore loser, Isobel, and she’s a vindictive bitch to boot. She was just trying to scare you and put doubts in your mind about us.”

“Yes, well she succeeded, and I’m nothing but a fool for falling for it. I’m so sorry, Tyler.” Isobel felt close to tears again. The thought that she’d let Jessica almost ruin her relationship with Tyler made her feel sick to her stomach.

Tyler gave her a reassuring smile, and his fingers returned stroking the back of her hand in a soothing gesture. “We’ll deal with Jessica later on. And we’ll deal with her together, Isobel. From here on out we put up a united front, okay?”

Isobel smiled at him shakily. She knew she should feel a lot calmer now, but she still had to tell him about her meeting with Marcus and she was more nervous than she cared to admit.

It was almost as though Tyler could read her mind because his reassuring smile changed back to a look of concern. “You said there was something else as well, Isobel. You mentioned meeting with someone? Do I know who the person is, or do I even want to know?”

Isobel swallowed hard. This was the part that she had been dreading. Would Tyler think that she had been seeing another man behind his back, and would he believe her when she told him that she had not met Marcus on her own before today and would definitely never be meeting him again?

“Well? You need to tell me, Isobel, because all kinds of things are running through my mind right now and I’m not sure if I like any of the scenarios.” His voice had hardened slightly and Isobel gulped and took another deep breath. It was time to come clean.

“Over the past few days you’ve been mentioning that somebody in my past had made me feel really insecure about myself. Well, that somebody was my college boyfriend, Marcus, and I bumped into him in the hotel lobby yesterday just after we arrived.”

Tyler’s face had darkened, and Isobel could tell that he was more than a little pissed off.

“Did he say something to upset you? Do I need to go and have a word with him and put him straight that you’re my girl now and he has no right to even talk to you?” Isobel loved the possessive tone in his voice, and being called ‘his girl’ gave her a thrill.

She shook her head at him before continuing. “No, it’s nothing like that, Tyler.” She took another shaky breath. “He merely hinted that we should meet up and have a talk, and after Jessica’s talk with me yesterday I was feeling a little lost.”

Tyler interrupted her before she could say anything else. “So you decided to meet with him? And did you just talk, Isobel, or did something else happen that I should know about?” His voice was cold and Isobel couldn’t blame him in the slightest. If he had told her that he’d met up with an ex-girlfriend she would have automatically assumed the worst.

“Nothing happened, Tyler. I promise you.” She hesitated slightly.

“But he wanted something to happen, didn’t he?” Tyler’s eyes were flashing fire while his voice was icy.

“Yes, but it was my fault, Tyler. I was the one who called him this morning and arranged to meet him, and he assumed that I wanted more than just lunch.” She shrugged her shoulders. “I only have myself to blame and thank God we met in a very public place so there was no chance of anything getting out of hand or beyond my control.”

“Did you want things to get beyond your control, Isobel? Is our relationship not enough for you anymore?”

Isobel was quick to reassure him. “No! God, Tyler, our relationship is perfect in every single way. As soon as I remembered what a slime-ball he is, which was pretty much as soon as he stepped foot into the restaurant, I told him that he had no chance in hell and got out of there.” It was her turn to hold onto Tyler’s hand reassuringly. “Please try to understand, Tyler. I really thought that Jessica was telling the truth, and I know that’s no excuse, but meeting up with Marcus gave me the answers to the questions I’d been asking myself.”

She paused briefly before continuing. “I’ll understand completely if you decide to call it a day between us, but I really hope that you don’t.”

“I trust you, Isobel. Why would I end our relationship just because you had lunch with somebody else? You’re a person not a possession and I don’t own you, darlin’.”

If there was anyone that I would let possess me, it’s you,
Isobel thought to herself. As for being owned? Hell, he already owned her heart and he didn’t even know it.
