Acknowledgments

I would like to acknowledge my fan-following-friends. I class every last one of you as my friend and I owe every last one of you my deepest gratitude.

I would also like to acknowledge some of the wonderful writers/bloggers/readers I have met on my journey as an indie writer. These women are some of the nicest I have had the good fortune of meeting and their support and encouragement keeps me going on my worst days.

Nikki Ashton
, who is an absolutely amazing writer, with the rare ability to make you laugh so hard your side’s ache. Love you, Nikki, and thanks so much for all your support. I really do appreciate it. If you haven’t read Nikki’s work yet, I strongly urge you to do so.

x.x

Laura McHale, LJ Burnley, Aoife Marie Sheridan, JL Ostle and Joanna Thingsaker – five wonderful women with the ability to transport you into their stories. I love your work, ladies, and I love you. Thank you for having such wonderful minds.

Alycia and Tracey-Lee. Why weren’t you girls in school with me …? I just know we would’ve been bffs. I am so thankful for meeting the both of you. You make me so happy and, because of you girls, I learned how to voice message. Yay! Your friendship means more to me than you’ll ever know. I love you girls. Thank you so much for being you and taking the gamble of reading
Break My Fall
. Xxx

For their endless support and encouragement, I would like to thank my parents, Johnny and Michelle, Aunty, John Payne, and my stepmother, Sinead.

My siblings: Danny, Denis, John, Julie & Yvonne and their other halves, Kathy, Amy, Nina and Martin.

I would also like to thank my husband’s wonderful family, Ned, Imelda, Granny, Michael, Linda, Peter, Annie and Kayla. No woman could have asked for a better family of in-laws.

I would like to mention my nieces and nephews: Jake, Cian, Jennifer, Theo, Emma, Jack, Ria and the bumps to come. And our close family friends: Karen Coughlan, Tracy Quirke, Edel McCarthy, Aisling O Callaghan, John Madden, Paul Spillett and Raymond O’Sullivan.

And to my own little family in particular: John, Ava and Darragh (okay, Bella and Oran too). You guys hold my heart in your hands. I love you guys up to the sky and back again.

I would also like to thank the girls of Chloe’s Clovers. You girls rock my fuzzy little socks off.

Lorrie Moar
(love this woman), Stephie, Lisa, Kim, Maki, Catrina, Amanda, Rhiannon, Rebecca. xoxoxoxoxoxo

I would like to acknowledge the huge support I received from my friends and followers on social media platforms when I spoke out about my personal battle with mental illness. A weight has been lifted from my shoulders, and I would like to thank all of you for that. Oh, and the
Evening Echo
for the fabulous feature they published about me. Thank you so very much.

Last, but certainly not least, I would like to acknowledge and thank every single person who has read any one of my books. Thank you so much for making my dreams come true.

Blurred Lines
is my eighth book. This story was in my mind for over a year, and, to be honest, I was both nervous and unsure as whether or not to write it.

After finishing
Treacherous
, I pulled the finger out and got down to business and finished the story.  If you’ve read any of my other books, you’ll see I did a one-eighty with this one. It’s deep, dark and disturbing, but it’s the characters’ story and I had to tell it in a way that was true to them.

About the author

Chloe Walsh is a twenty-five-year-old wife and mother of two from County Cork in the south of Ireland. The youngest of five children, reading and writing was her escape as a child.

In January 2014, she started to write about a cocky, self-assured man named Kyle Carter, and five weeks later, on Valentine’s Day 2014, she self-published her debut novel,
Break my Fall
, for a handful of friends who had called over for tea, read bits and pieces of Kyle, and wanted to read the story on their Kindles rather than printed sheets. Shockingly – and no one was more surprised than her – the book was a huge success, reaching No. 1 in the UK iTunes and Amazon Bestsellers Lists. Chloe followed it up in April 2014 with the sequel,
Fall to Pieces
, vowing that this second book would be the final chapter for Kyle.

The demand for a third instalment was overwhelming and a series was born! The final book became two:
Fall on Me
, the third book in the accidental
Broken
series, was released in August 2014, and
Forever we Fall
was released in October 2014.

Treacherous
, the first book from her
Twisted Youth
series was released in March 2015.

DiMarco’s Secret Love Child (Parts 1 & 2)
were released in later March 2015.

Blurred Lines
was released in June 2015.

An avid reader, Chloe enjoys lurking in a corner with her Kindle, and playing sports.
