Her cunt clenched around his fingers, and he gritted his teeth to keep the groan in. She started to thrust her pussy onto his fingers.

“I want to try something,” he said.

Releasing her pussy, he heard her growl, and he eased her down the bed until she was hanging off the bed. He gripped her waist, and placed her ass just off the bed, and he got it so that her feet rested on his shoulders.

“Shaun?”

“I’ve got you. Don’t be nervous. I want to try something.”

Opening the lips of her pussy, he used his tongue this time, and stroked from her clit down to her pussy, and plunged inside her, before moving back up.

He got his finger nice and wet in her excess cream, and moved it back to the puckered hole in the crease of her ass.

She tensed up, but he didn’t stop.

“Trust me,” he said, whispering the words against her pussy.

Slowly, the tension eased out of her, and when his finger was slick enough with her cream, he started to press against the tight ring of muscles.

Flicking his tongue against her clit, he sensed Addie didn’t know if to pull away or to thrust down.

“Let go, baby. I’m going to catch you every single time.”

Sucking her clit deep into his mouth, he used his teeth to create a bite of pain that would drive her crazy even more.

He eased past the first ring of muscles, and he pushed the finger slowly within her ass.

“I’m going to fuck your ass, baby. I’m going to own every single inch of your body. You’re not going to be able to look at another man.”

“There’s no one else I want.”

Using his teeth on her clit, he had her screaming out his name, and when she couldn’t take anymore of his teeth, he eased the pain out by licking her clit.

Sliding his cock down, he fucked inside her pussy.

She took his finger in her ass to the knuckle, and he started to work a second finger inside her.

Addie was panting, and she’d started to work her ass on his fingers, and thrust up to meet his tongue.

“It’s too much,” she said.

Flicking over her clit, he used his other hand to slide deep into her cunt. She was so tight, and he knew she was going to come as her pussy tightened around his finger.

“Fuck,” she said, making him smile. “Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck.”

Over and over she repeated the word, screaming his name at the end of it as she came all over his finger and mouth. Her ass tightened around his finger, and he smiled. He made the orgasm last, taking her on a rollercoaster ride of pleasure and sensation.

“Stop, please stop,” she said, begging him.

He slowed his tongue down until he stopped, easing away from her. Removing his hands, he lowered her thighs down to the floor. “Stay there, baby.”

Shaun went to the bathroom, washing his hands, and wiping the excess cum off his face.

He took a cloth into the bedroom, and cleaned her up, before taking the cloth back into the bathroom, and rinsing it out.

Walking back into the bedroom, he saw she was still in the same place on the bed. “You didn’t tell me I could move.”

Fisting his cock, he walked toward the bottom of the bed.

“Get on your knees,” he said.

She stood up and turned going to her knees on the bed. He moved in behind her and ran his hands all over the curve of her ass. “You’re so fucking beautiful.”

“You don’t think I’m too fat?”

Unable to resist, he spanked her ass, causing her to scream.

“Why did you do that?” she asked, looking over her shoulder to glare at him.

“Don’t ever call yourself fat. As far as I’m concerned, baby, you’re fucking perfect, and don’t ever think that I don’t mean what I say. I do.”

He wasn’t going to have her calling herself fat. She was perfect, and she belonged to him. No one called his woman fat.

Running both of his hands over her ass, he spread her cheeks wide. “Do you like the thought of me fucking your ass?”

“Yes and no.”

“Why no?” he asked.

“I’ve never done it, and it sounds painful.”

He chuckled. “I’m going to make sure you enjoy every single second of it.” An image of her across his desk as he fucked her sweet ass entered his mind, and he just knew he was going to do it.

Spreading her ass, he pressed his dick against her entrance, and slowly worked his length inside her.

He took his time, relishing each clench of her pussy around him. It took his breath away with how perfect she was wrapped around his dick.

On the last couple of inches, he grabbed her waist, and slammed to the hilt within her, which had them both gasping out.

Holding onto her hips, he tightened his grip and basked in her pulsing cunt.

“I always knew this was going to be perfect between us.”

“You did?”

“Yes.” Shaun had lived in hope, and as he fucked his woman, his wife, he knew his dreams had come true. He loved her with his whole heart, and one day soon, she was going to realize that she loved him, too.

Chapter Eight

There was no putting off a visit with their parents, and Addison stared at her reflection in her bedroom. Shaun had wanted her to spend some time at his apartment in the city near his work, but she’d held off. He visited her often, well, every single night, which she didn’t mind. She loved being with him.

“Are you okay?” Darla asked, leaning against her bedroom wall.

“I’ll feel better when this is over. Does that make me a bad person?”

Darla folded her arms, stepping into the bedroom. “I’ve told Dean I can’t have anything with him.”

“What? Why?” Addison didn’t understand her friend’s apprehension when it came to Dean.

“We’re two people who are not meant to be together. We had sex, and it’s over.” Darla shrugged.

Tilting her head to the side, Addie stared at her best friend. “What happened?”

“He’s a model, Addie. He’s surrounded by supermodel women all day. They’re perfect, and have amazing bodies.”

“Don’t treat Dean like that. He’s not a shallow person, and you’re saying that he only wants model women. You know him, talk to him.”

Darla shook her head. “I can’t. I’ve told him I’m not going to be with him. I’m going away for a little while, Addie.”

“Wait? What?”

“I’ve got an aunt who lives out in England. I’m going to spend some time there.”

“What about our show?”

“I’m really sorry. I’ve got to do what I’ve got to do.” Darla walked toward her. “Please don’t hate me.”

“I can’t hate you.” Wrapping her arms around Darla, she really didn’t know what to say. “You’re running away.”

“I’m going to do something for myself. I won’t be gone long. I might be back by Christmas. I’m not sure. Take care, Addie.”

She walked toward her door and opened it. Dean stood on the other side, and Addison watched them both tense.

“Darla?” Dean said.

“I, erm, I might as well tell you now. I’m not going to be around for a couple of weeks. I’m going away. Addie will tell you the rest.”

Before either of them could speak, Darla rushed out of the apartment, escaping from the pain she’d just unleashed.

“She’s running from me, isn’t she?” Dean asked, staring after Darla.

“You’re not going to go after her.” Addie was a little disappointed when he shook his head.

“She saw this, and she just freaked at me. I was so close getting her to take a chance.” He held up a magazine, which Addison took from him. She opened to the page that had been dog eared at the corner. Dean was pretty much naked, and the entire spread was erotic. “Three months ago I was approached to consider book covers, so I did, and it looks like it finally got printed.” He ran fingers through his hair. “What am I going to do?”

“Darla is a complicated woman. She doesn’t think she’s good enough for you.”

“What? Why the fuck would she think that? She’s amazing, beautiful, smart, funny.”

Addison pointed at the women he was being rather up close and personal with. “She doesn’t think she can compete with these women.”

“There’s nothing to compete with. Fuck, I’m going to go after her.”

He rushed downstairs toward the main door. Shaun was walking into the apartment building and moved out of the way as Dean rushed past.

“Am I missing something?” he asked.

“Complicated love.”

She placed the magazine in Dean’s door, before closing it. Turning toward Shaun, she gave him a little twirl. “Do I look good enough for this?” she asked.

“To me you’ll always be, Addie.”

“Our parents are going to hate me.”

“You’re a bestseller. I know Paula has had a lot of offers for you to host your own television series.”

“Everything is crazy right now, and our parents could ruin everything.”

“I won’t let them.” He cupped her cheek, tilting her head back.

“How can you stop them?”

“They can cause problems for us, Addie, but we can cut them out.”

Addison laughed.

“What’s the matter, baby?”

“It’s just so simple, and I can’t believe I’ve never thought about it before.”

“Cutting them off?”

“They’re our parents.”

“We don’t need them anymore. We’re meeting them tonight because they’re our parents. We can walk away at any time.”

Licking her lips, Addison stared at his chest and noticed his tie was a little crooked. “What about us?”

“What about us?”

“We walk away from them, then we can walk away from each other.”

“No. I’m not walking away, nor am I giving up. We’re in this for life. You can’t tell me you want to walk away from what we have?”

“I don’t want to walk away.”

“Then don’t even think about walking away. We can do this together, as a team, Addie. They’re just our parents.”

Just
our parents? You make it sound so easy.”

Shaun sighed. “I got you a gift.”

“You’re changing the subject.”

“I’m not. Yes, I am, but you’ll see the point I’m making.” He released her long enough to pull out of his jacket a long, slender rectangular box.

“What is this?”

“It’s a present for getting on the bestsellers list with an amazing cookbook, being an amazing wife, and for giving us a chance.”

She opened the box to see a charm bracelet lying in the velvet. “I still don’t understand.”

“I bought you this bracelet, Addie. I’m not controlled by my parents, and we can make the decisions ourselves. If I was controlled, I wouldn’t be able to celebrate your success. We’re two independent people. We can make our own path without them.”

“I feel such a fool,” she said.

“Why?”

“I never even gave walking away from them a thought. How stupid is that?” She’d really not, and right now, it felt crazy not to have thought about it.

“It’s not stupid. We’re not supposed to be thinking about leaving our family, and having nothing to do with them.”

Addison smiled. “It still feels very wrong.”

Shaun shrugged.

“Would you do it?” she asked.

“Would I do what?”

“Leave them behind?”

“Yes. If they make life hard for us, I will walk away, Addie. You mean more to me than they do.” Shaun took a step toward her. “I love you, Addie.”

“You love me?” She hadn’t expected that, and she quickly pinched her arm to make sure she was actually awake and hearing him.

“I do, with all my heart.” He took the charm out of the box, and placed it around her wrist.

“How can you be so sure?”

“I just know from the first moment I saw you, you were different. We had a rocky marriage, and I didn’t know how to reach you. I’ve finally gotten you, Addie, and I’m not letting you go. I love you. We’re in this together, and if that means we’re in this together, alone, then so be it.”

“Together?”

“Together, against the world.”

Wrapping her arms around his neck, she pressed her lips to his. They would be okay.

****

Everything was tense in the Woodside house. Addie’s parents were at his family’s place, and it was just a tense nightmare. Evangeline wasn’t present, and it was just him and Addie against their parents.

His mother had thrust her snobbish nose up in the air, and they were sitting at the dinner table, on opposite sides of the table. He didn’t like the distance between them, and with the way their mothers were glaring at Addie, it was getting on his last nerve.

This was what he didn’t want his own family to be like. He despised the fake smiles, the nasty remarks.

I hate my family.

The realization had Shaun glancing over toward his father, who looked bored with the whole affair.

You don’t need to be here.

He was over thirty years old, and no longer controlled by his family. Tonight, he was going to cut all ties with his family, and build him and Addie a better future.

“Mom, did you hear about the success of Addie’s book?” he asked. He was so damn proud that he’d even got a printed out copy of the bestsellers list, had her name and book circled, and placed on the wall.

His mother snorted. “I never heard anything like it. You should be focusing on having a family, Addison, not making a spectacle of yourself on the internet, or the television. Seriously, you need to see what you look like. You need to slim down some. You look like a whale that should be back out at sea.”

“I’ve told her many times about losing weight, but does she listen? No. She’s more interested in eating, and sitting down all day. It’s really not proper.” This came from Addie’s mother.

His anger grew, and when he looked toward Addie, and saw she had lowered her fork, he’d had enough. Glancing at the clock, he saw they had spent ten minutes in their families’ company, and as far as he was concerned, it was still ten minutes more than they deserved.

“That’s enough!” He yelled the words and slammed his fist on the table. “Don’t you ever think of talking about my wife like that again.”

“Son?”

“No, don’t ‘son’ me. Addie is my wife, and I fucking love her. I’ve put up with your crap because you’re our parents. You’ve invaded our life one too many times.”

“You’re being inappropriate, Shaun,” his mother said.
