“What do you mean?” Trevor questioned, confused.

“She’s a few months away from finishing high school,” Renzo answered.  “She doesn’t have anyone to care of her.  I want you to take her in.  Watch over her when I’m gone.”

“What?!” Trevor uttered in shock.  I, too, was jolted by Renzo’s strange request.  “Renzo... do you even know what you’re asking of us?”

“Yes.  Yes, I do,” the old man confirmed.  “Call it... a brother’s last wish.  It’s a blood oath.  It should be fulfilled.”

She held her father tighter as she started to cry.  Tears dribbled from her eyes.  I wanted to hold her, to comfort her, to lick those fucking tears away.  But that’s probably just my erection talking.  I actually pitied her, though.  A young lass like her... she shouldn’t go through something like this.  No child deserves that kind of a trauma.

“You’re not a brother anymore,” Trevor reminded him.

“I still am,” Renzo countered.  “No one has read me my
Final Rites
yet.”

“Fuck, Renz!  What you’re asking... you know it won’t be what’s best for her.”

“I’m the best judge of that, am I not?”

“You daft old fart...” Trevor sighed in defeat.

“Just... take care of her, Trevor,” Renzo pleaded.  “She’d be done with school in four months.  Just watch over her until she graduates, then you can let her go to do whatever she wants to do with her life.”

Once again, Trevor rubbed his beard, a mannerism he developed to cope up with the stress that came with his position.

“Four months?  Just four months?” he wanted to confirm.

“Yes, Trev.  Just four months under your care, and that’s it.  That’s all I ask of you.”

“Okay then, Renz, I can arrange that,” Trevor acknowledged.

“Thank you,
brother
,” the old man said.

“Please... don’t call me that... not anymore,” Trevor responded.  “Don’t make this shit harder than it should be.”

“Of course.  So... should we do this or not?” Renzo asked with unexpected impatience.  Why was he the one in a hurry?

“We should,” Trevor replied.  He looked at me.  I knew what he wanted to do.

I nodded and approached the couch.  I grabbed the girls arm, my fingers brushed against his skin as soft as a flower’s petal.  She looked at me in fright, then she realized what was about to happen... that it was the last time she’d be able to be with her daddy.  She yanked her arm away from my grip.  I could’ve held her tighter, but I allowed her to break free.  She threw herself on her father’s chest and hugged him tight.  She started to cry, uncontrollably, as she buried her head on Renzo’s shoulder.

“It’s okay, Lana,” he whispered to her as he caressed her back.  “Be a good girl, alright?  Make me proud.  Not tomorrow, not the next day, but eventually... make me proud...”

The girl’s head bobbled while it was still squeezed behind her father’s arm and collarbone.  He gently pushed her away.  She didn’t want to let go.  Renzo looked at me, a cue that it was alright for me to take her outside.  I did.  She didn’t resist.

Renzo and Trevor continued to talk as we walked towards the door.

“Funny,” the old man said.  “All this time, I thought that Loco would be the one to do the honor.”

“He’s in jail.  They took him in because ratted on us, remember?” Trevor reminded him.

“Ah yes.  My memory’s gone bad.  Sorry ‘bout that, Veep.  Now... shall we?  My
Final Rites?

Trevor took a deep breath before continuing to speak.  “Lorenzo O’Reilly, for the unforgivable sin of betrayal, you are hereby stripped of any and all the patches you have earned as a member of the Devils’ Due Motorcycle Club.  From this moment forth, your membership shall cease and you shall be forever condemned as an enemy of the club.  Due Process has been made and your judgement has been decided.  The penalty for your transgression is death.  So it is said, so shall it be.”

“So shall it be,” Renzo repeated with what sounded like a chuckle.

The girl continued to sob beneath my arms.  I opened the door and led her out.

I heard the cocking of a gun.

I slammed the door behind us and quickened my pace.  I covered the girls’ ears.  She opposed my touch.  I persisted.  She submitted.

She closed her eyes.

A loud bang echoed inside.

Her tears trickled across my forearm.

It was over.

She’s been crying the whole time, though she stopped wailing as soon as we left her house.  She rode on my bike.  I placed my helmet on her, but the damn lid was just too big.  It covered her entire head... but she didn’t mind.  I guessed she preferred it, even.  It covered her vision, and maybe... maybe she found solace in the darkness.

She refused to wrap her arms around my waist at first, which was quite problematic.  I couldn’t keep up with Trevor’s speed because I was thinking of her safety.  I parked the bike and talked to her.

“Either you grab my waist or hold on to my cock.  Your choice.  Either would be good for me, as long as you won’t fall off.”

She sniffed twice instead of answering.  I hopped on my bike and, thankfully, she hooked her hands over my abdomen.  I pressed on the gas and pushed for 80 to catch up with Trevor.  The speed frightened her, it seemed, as she held on for dear life, pressing her small tits against my back.

Shit.  They felt so fucking soft!  Like marshmallows ready for the tasting!

Aw fuck!  What was I thinking?  She’s just a little girl!  A
pretty
little girl, yes... but Jesus Christ!  She’s gonna make me a sex offender... on top of all the crimes that can be laid on me!

After an hour riding southwards at Interstate 90, we finally arrived at our clubhouse in Buffalo.  Our headquarters used to be a
fire station
in the eighties... until it
burned
down.  Yeah, irony of motherfucking ironies.  Well, we got the place for a bargain and retrofitted it with a bar, a pool table, some rooms, and of course, a chapel.  It has served us well for decades now.  Hell, it’s become so fucking cozy for me that I took one of the rooms for my own.  The brothers kept teasing me about it ever since.
Don’t you feel like you’re living in your mama’s basement
, they asked.  In a way it does, but that room has become my home and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

The clubhouse was empty when we got there, save for two prospects - Bumbux and Dimwit - who were playing a game of 9-ball.  It was late and the brothers were either out screwing some slut they managed to pick up, or at their homes with their families... at least those who were dumb enough to actually settle down with some broads.

The girl was like a refugee who’s fresh off the boat, scouting the place with fearful eyes and a terrified expression.

“This’ll be your home for the next four months,” Trevor told her as he settled on one of the stools.  Bumbux quickly fetched a cold beer for him from the fridge.

She didn’t reply.

Come to think of it, she has never spoken a word since she left her daddy’s side.

Then, as if Trevor’s statement reminded her that her father was gone, she began to sob once again.  Honestly, it was beginning to annoy the hell outta me.  It’s like having a new dog in the house and he’d howl and bark the entire night, driving everyone batshit and all.

“Stop cryin’, girl,” I told her.  “What’s ‘yer name again?  Lana, is it?”

She nodded as she wiped her eyes with her forearm.

“Lana... ‘ya ain’t gonna stay here forever.  ‘Ye’ll just be here for four months.  Y’know how short a time that is?  Geez!  The hair on my balls won’t grow back in four months!  It’ll be over before ‘ya know it.  Just... ‘ya know... do that school shit and stuff, be good, know your place, and all will be fine.”

Trevor cleared his throat.  He obviously thought about something that he didn’t want to discuss while the girl was there.

“Will get back to you in a sec, Veep,” I assured him.  “I’ll just take this girl to her room.”

“Which room would that be?” he asked.  “We just got three rooms here, and Loco’s posting bail soon.  That leaves two, yours and Ducky’s.”

“Heh!  She can’t stay in Ducky’s room,” I answered.  “That old dog might just shoot her while he’s sleepwalking.  The girl can take my room.”

Trevor gave me a surprised look.  “And where will you be sleeping?”

“On the couch over there.  On the stool beside you.  On the fucking pool table.  Wherever.  It doesn’t matter.  I can get a shuteye while standing up.”

“Your decision, brother,” he remarked.

“Come with me,” I instructed the girl.  She did as I ordered.

As we walked towards the back area where the rooms were, I realized that the girl didn’t bring any things with her.

“Your stuff still at your place?” I asked.

She just nodded, still keeping her silence.

“Packed, at least?”

She nodded again.

“Very well.  We’ll just ask one of the prospects to get them for ‘ya tomorrow when they go there to...”

Shit!  I was supposed about to say that the prospects would go to Holland to clean up Renzo’s body.  Thankfully, I managed to stop myself from continuing.  The girl’s suffered enough tonight.  She didn’t need another reminder of what happened to her daddy dearest.

As soon as I opened the door that led to my room, the stench of cigarette smoke and sweat and urine greeted us.  The combo must’ve been too overpowering for her that she had to cough and cover her nose.

“‘Ya’ll get used to it,” I told her.  “Well, there’s the bed over there,” I pointed at the bunk that had weeks-old sheets with a variety of stains, the causes of which I couldn’t even remember.  “I’ll... I’ll get one of the prospects to get ‘ya some new blankets and pillow cases,” I assured her.

She stepped inside and looked around, leaving me beside the door with a good view of her rear.  She’s got a nice ass.  Not too big, but not flat.  Just the right size I could squeeze with one hand.

Fuck!  I should stop thinking about shit like this!  She’s too young for me, not to mention the fact that she’s a complicated issue, one who’d surely divide the club come tomorrow.  Hooking up with her?  That would be courting a whole lotta trouble.

She stared at the walls brimming with chipped paint.  Black and worn-out, they hardly looked like something that a girl would like.  It didn’t matter.  Her stay was just temporary.

“See the cabinet over there?” I pointed at a wooden drawer at the farthest corner of the room.  “That’s where my clothes are and that’s the only thing that ‘ya shouldn’t touch here.”
