“I’m sorry but… this is so weird for me. I mean…you are you and I am… me.” She shrugged. “Tell me in what universe this works out.”

He held the side of her face and kissed her softly before he lifted her onto his lap.

“You shouldn’t…” she started and he shook his head.

“I am off my feet, aren’t I?” he asked and she nodded. “Do you know what I really love about you? He gently pushed her hair back from her face and held her neck before he traced his finger down her chest. “You are real. Everything about you is real… your curly hair, your perfect full breasts and even this well-rounded ass.” His hand was now at her hip. “I want you, Corrine. I have always wanted you and I want us,” he said, his hand on her stomach.

“Really?” she asked and he nodded before he pulled her down to kiss her again. It was no longer just a soft reassuring kiss. It was one that screamed how much he wanted her. And she knew this too because his hard cock was pressing against her soft ass. She moaned into his mouth and he roughly hiked her maxi dress up to reveal her flawless thighs to him. “Want you,” he rasped in her ear as he moved his hand in between her legs, gently caressing her soft inner thigh. “You shouldn’t be exerting yourself.”

“I’m not on my feet and I took the goo.” He pulled his t-shirt off and tossed it aside. “Don’t make me wait any longer baby. Just ride me.”

Corrine didn’t need any second bidding. She pulled her panties off and he pushed his sweats off before she straddled him. She moaned softly as she began impaling herself on his massive cock.

“Oh baby,” Dante moaned. He was surprised at how fast she was able to bury herself inside her. He would not have bet that she would have ever been able to accommodate him without so much as foreplay. She began to slowly move on and off him, getting her wetness all over his mammoth cock and she was actually loving it. He held her breast as he began thrusting his hips upwards meeting her every downward stroke. Feeling her up and filling her were two of the best feelings he had ever known. He never wanted it to end. He had asked her to ride him and ride him she did. Soon enough, she was dropping her hips on his crotch so hard and so fast that the only thing he could do was moan his pleasure. He suddenly felt her coming apart all around him before he followed suit. He fucked her deeper and harder until she could no longer take it anymore. She was shivering and he was too… she might have lacked confidence in herself but she was every bit the kind of woman he saw himself with for the rest of his life.

A Nurse for a Badass

Chapter 1

Alexis Ballard looked at the plate in front of her and smiled. She took a sip of her coffee and sighed.

“Tasha Macdonald, you know me so damn well,” she said as she took a bite of her pumpkin ginger waffles.

“You are the only person who I know doesn’t like the traditional vanilla waffles,” Tasha said with a smile. “And this is the only place I know that serves breakfast throughout the day.”

“You have to try the pumpkin ginger waffles to know what the fuss is all about,” Alexis said matter of factly. “So, how is life at the ER anyway?” she asked as she took a bite of her waffles.

“The usual. People being stupid getting broken bottles in the head and others smoking in a gas station…you know how it goes,” Tasha said. She took a bite of her eggs. “To be honest, I envy you. Having just one patient must be heavenly.”

“Not the one I have,” Alexis said holding up her fork.

“Oh come on, you work for Sean Elliot.” Tasha leaned forward and looked into her best friend’s eyes. “And I know for a fact that you have had a crush on him for the longest time.”

Alexis smiled. Tasha was right. She did have a crush on Sean Elliot since she knew what having sexual feelings meant. Sean was not only one of the Top 40 Under 40 men in the United States, he was also the hottest man she had ever known. Sean was a tall, muscular, green-eyed man known for his competitive MMA championships. He had beautifully thick brown hair that he kept a little longer than most fighters would have preferred to. The long strands of his hair always seemed to frame his face, giving him that timeless teenage heartthrob look he seemed to pull off so well. Until recently, he had been the greatest MMA fighter. His skill was unmatched thanks to the extensive training from one of the best people in the field. But a couple of months back, Sean had suffered an injury that guaranteed some four to six months out of the ring and because of who he was, he chose to recuperate at home under the care of a private nurse, and as fate would have it, Alexis got the job.

“And now you get to see every inch of his marvelous body,” Tasha said again. Alexis rolled her eyes.

“It’s not as glamorous as you think,” she said. “I mean, fine, I get to manage his pain killers and make sure his blood pressure is right, but he can be stubborn.”

“What do you mean?”

“He loves his scotch, keeps getting out of bed even though his fracture is not fully healed…it’s like he is trying to live out his life as if nothing happened.” Alexis took another bite of her waffles. “He is a fucking headache. I’ll tell you that much.”

“Oh come on, you know you like it,” Tasha said with a smile.

“I didn’t say I hate working with Sean, it’s just that seeing him wrecking his chances of ever working again…it’s maddening.”

“So, it’s Sean now, huh? No more Mr. Elliot?” Tasha asked with a smile.

“He told me to call him Sean because I didn’t like being called Nurse Ballard,” Alexis pointed out.

“And the two of you being on first name basis has nothing to do with the fact that you stroke yourself every night with him on your mind?” Tasha asked. Alexis looked up at her, her cheeks flushed.

“I most certainly do not,” she said as she stared daggers at her best friend.

“Denial much?” Tasha asked. Alexis rolled her eyes. “Please, you know as well as I do that I am right,” Tasha added as she took another sip of her juice.

“There is nothing going on between Sean and I, period.” Alexis said making Tasha smile.

“So, who did you leave him with now that you are way out here with me?” Tasha asked.

“Marisol, the maid is there with him. He’s already had all his medication and I am only away for a couple of hours. He should be still asleep when I get back,” Alexis said. “But that rarely happens since he doesn’t want to sleep out the pain.”

“Who doesn’t want to sleep out the pain?” Tasha asked and Alexis rolled her eyes.

“You don’t know the half of it. But like I said earlier, it is not as glamorous as you think it is,” she added.

“Well, if you say so.” There was a sly smile on Tasha’s lips.

“I do say so, and enough about me. What about you? What is going on in your life that I should know about?” Alexis started. “And before you answer me, I don’t mean work.” Tasha shrugged.

“What if everything you need to know revolves around work?” she asked and Alexis’ eyes grew wide. Tasha had been eyeing this fast respondent for almost two years without ever saying as much as a ‘hello’ to him. “Michael Wyler,” Tasha said in a soft voice. The tone in her voice was almost dreamy.

“So we finally talked to Mr. Attractive Fast Respondent?” Alexis said with a smile.

“I did. And we are having coffee later this week,” Tasha said. Alexis pretended to choke on her waffle bite.

“That was fast. How did we go from not talking at all to a date?” she asked.

“We are not having a date. We are just having coffee.”

Alexis smiled.

“Ergo, you and Mr. Attractive Fast Respondent…” Alexis started before Tasha put a finger up.

“Michael Wyler,” she said and Alexis nodded.

“Alright, you and Michael Wyler are actually having a date. I mean, it’s not like you are just going to sit across each other having coffee or anything,” Alexis went on.

“Stop being a know it all,” Tasha said laughing as she shook her head. Alexis laughed.

She had known Tasha for almost six years and if there was one thing she knew ever so well, it was the fact that she could tell how her friend acted when she was smitten and boy, was she smitten. But then again, they were both hiding the reality of what they were feeling.

****

It was a little after three when Alexis got back to Sean’s place and as soon as she walked into the house, she heard loud music coming from upstairs. Without even going up there, she knew that the music was coming from the master bedroom. She rolled her eyes and set the grocery bags she was holding on the kitchen counter before she began making her way upstairs.

“Seriously?” she wondered out loud when she got to the door. She knocked softly on the heavy wooden door before she opened it. She sighed when she saw the empty bed. She walked over to the bed and picked up the remote which was on the night stand and switched off the music.

“Sean? Are you in here?” she called out as she looked around the big room. The door to the bathroom was open so she was sure that Sean was not there. “Sean?” she called out again.

“Why did I have to get the most difficult patient in LA?”
she thought as she walked out of the bedroom. She walked back downstairs and headed straight for the living room. She was almost a hundred per cent sure that Sean was there.

“Like clockwork,”
she thought as she stood at the doorway looking at a sleeping Sean.

When she first found out that she was going to be working at Sean Elliot’s place, Alexis was overjoyed. Not only did she get to work at a celebrity’s house, but she also got to make what she called a shitload of money.  But as she came to realize, Sean was not just any patient, he was every nurse’s nightmare. Somehow, it was like he was allergic to following the doctor’s orders. He was not even supposed to be downstairs.

She began to slowly walk towards him and when she got close enough she realized that there was no sign of a walking cane, something he was never supposed to do without. She was just about to make her way out of the living room when she heard his loud alarm piercing through the serenity of the mansion. Sean’s eyelids fluttered open and Alexis gave him a disappointed look.

“Sleep well?” she asked as she looked at him. He ran his fingers through his hair. “How did you get down here? I don’t see a cane around.”

“You don’t?” Sean asked as he stifled a yawn.

“You know you are supposed to keep the weight off that leg for at least twelve weeks straight,” she pointed out. Sean tried to stand up and she almost ran up to where he was. “Stay put. I’ll get the cane for you.” She helped him settle in his seat before she ran upstairs to the master bedroom where she found his cane next to the bed. She then made her way back to the living room where she found him about to take his pills. “What do you think you are doing?” she asked.

“It’s time to take my pills. That was the whole point of the alarm,” he said matter of factly as he put a selection of pills into a pill crusher.

“Your pills are too strong, Sean. You know you have to eat something before you take your medication right?” she asked. She didn’t know whether Sean could tell that she was angry with him by the way she was looking at him.

“I had some potato chips an hour ago,” he said, ready to pop the pills into his mouth.

“For starters, potato chips are not food. They are not even healthy and two, give me these,” she said as she took the pill crusher from him and walked to the kitchen. She put it down on the counter and looked at Sean who was now slowly making his way to the kitchen.

“Hey, I need those,” Sean said.

“You’ll have them after food,” she said looking right into his eyes. He was now standing right in front of her on the other side of the counter. She sighed and walked over to the fridge and opened it. “I’ll fix you something,” she said as she looked into the fridge.

“So, I’m guessing I have to wait for dinner….lunch.” He looked at his watch. “What are we having anyway? It’s like four in the afternoon.”

“Who said anything about ‘we’? You are the invalid,” Alexis pointed out as she washed her hands.

“I am not eating unless you are,” Sean announced. Alexis looked up at him and sighed.

“I am not hungry,” she said.

“Well, I cannot eat alone. It’s weird,” he said. She wanted to roll her eyes.

“I’ll have a little food…just a little,” she said as she began squeezing lime juice into a bowl.

“I actually don’t mind if you take a few bites off my plate,” he said. She looked up at him and shook her head.

Sean had been trying to get her to have dinner with him since he was well enough to talk in complete sentences without groaning in pain. But Alexis had always told him that she needed to keep things professional. The real reason for her was actually the fact that the most important thing for her was to keep her distance from the man that she’d had a crush on for the longest time.

“What’s the big deal? It’s not like you have some patients crying for help in the next room or anything,” Sean said.

“It’s not professional…” she started saying before Sean reached across the counter and touched her hand.

“I’m not eating unless you are,” he said again with finality. She pulled her hand away and sighed.

“Fine.” She took a broiler pan from the overhead rack and set it down on the stove. “So are you just going to sit there staring at me or are you going to help?” she asked without looking at him.

“Just tell me what to do, Alexis,” Sean said with a smile.

What Alexis had in mind for their late lunch was glazed salmon, a quick fix that only took half an hour to prepare. It sounded complicated and fancy but it was actually a simple fix. It was just brushing the fish with a mixture of honey and lime juice and frying it in a broiler pan. She could not tell but Sean was impressed as he looked at her preparing the fish and a side of spiced carrots. Living the kind of life he had, he had spent lot of time with women who lived a life similar to the Kardashian lifestyle. He had never met a woman like Alexis.

“Where’d you learn to cook like this?” he asked when she finally sat down to eat with him. “This is amazing.”

“Well, my grandmother was a big believer of homemade meals.” She started as she took a bite of her carrots. “Takeout was not a thing in the Ballard household,” she added.

“Maybe that’s a good thing,” he said. She raised an eyebrow at him.

“My grandma’s recipes made me go from a size eight to a size sixteen,” she said matter of factly. ‘I don’t see anything good thing in that.”

“You have a beautiful body, Alexis,” Sean started making Alexis’ cheeks flush a bright crimson. “I personally have a thing for curvy women.”

Alexis smiled even though she didn’t really mean to. All she was trying to do was hide the fact that she was blushing. She stood up and began clearing the dishes.

“This was great,” Sean said as she busied herself as much as she could avoiding his line of sight as much as she could. “We should do this more often.”

She looked at him over her shoulder and shrugged.

“I don’t think that would be a very good idea Sean.” She had her back to him as he put the dirty dishes in the washer and what she didn’t know was that he was eyeing her perfectly rounded ass. “You can take your pills now,” she said when she turned around and placed the pill crusher in front of him and then handed him a bottle of water from the fridge.

Sean was looking at her as he downed the pills making her feel increasingly uncomfortable.

“Do you need help getting back upstairs?” she asked and he nodded even though he really didn’t. She walked up to where he was and slipped an arm around his waist. He balanced his weight on his cane as they slowly made their way out of the kitchen. She could feel tingles running down her spine as they made their way up the stairs. She had this feeling every time he touched her. She was not very sure whether it was the fact that it had been a while since she’d had any kind of male contact or simply that Tasha could have been right but his touch was making her go wild. His scent was all around her and she was trying hard to keep her breathing slow and relaxed.
