I pulled him closer to me and sunk my teeth into his shoulder. He begged for me not to let go, no matter what. His rhythm increased, with every growl he went deeper and held me tighter. He cried my name then sunk his teeth into my shoulder and quickly removed them. I scratched and clawed at his back trying to get him closer to me. Refusing to remove my teeth from his neck I telepathically screamed his name as I had yet another incredible orgasm. As I felt him explode inside me he growled my name and sank his teeth back into me.

Breathlessly, I fulfilled my promise to stop him from taking too much of my blood, “Bradley…” That’s all I needed to say and his eyes were gazing into mine. Tears still pouring from my eyes and my voice cracking I gasped, “Amazing…”

“You’re beautifully amazing yourself, my lovely wife.” His smile was glorious. I was already having trouble breathing. Now I was becoming light headed from lack of air.

He attempted to get off but I held onto him. “No, please don’t.”

Laughing he said, “Just until you catch your breath.”

“No… please don’t, not yet.”

Without removing himself he spun us around placing me on top. I rested my head on his chest to catch my breath and embrace our wonderful moment. It took me a few minutes. But when I finally did…

I sat up with him still inside me, harder than ever. Even though I’m wetter than I’ve ever been, his shaft filled and stretched me. I rubbed my hands all over his magnificent chest and stomach. I took his hand from my knee and pressed his palm against my cheek. Looking him in the eye I sunk my teeth into his wrist. His eyes rolled up into his head before he closed his eyes.

Slowly I began moving up and down on him. At this point I had no clue what got into me. My body took over and began moving in a way I wouldn’t have thought possible. He tried flipping us around but I shook my head no as I held his hands above his head.

I kissed him passionately, my body continually moving vigorously over his. I bit him several times on his neck and chest. With his hands now on my hips he thrust himself into me deeply and growled my name in an unbelievably sexy way. I felt him once again come inside me.

He sat up and slid us to the edge of the bed, “No. Not just me.”

With his hand on my shoulder he pushed himself deeper into me. It felt like he could grow on demand. I could feel myself stretching as he grew inside me. He chuckled softly saying, “I can.” He grabbed my hair, pulled my head back to expose my neck and arch my back before sinking his teeth into my breast. I screamed in pleasure and fulfilled his wish. He didn’t release me until he knew I had finished. My legs and entire body trembled.

He stood up with us still attached. Withdrawing himself from me he gently placed me on my feet. The moment he let me go my legs gave out on me. I giggled.

“Are you okay?” He asked as he caught me and lay me back onto the bed.

Still giggling I said, “Perfect.” Actually I’m extremely thirsty…

“Would you like me to get you something to drink?” I smiled and nodded my head yes.

After drinking the entire bottle of water I laid down. I couldn’t wipe the smile from my face.

“Are you okay?” He appeared very satisfied with himself.

“Never better.” With our naked bodies pressed against each other I recalled what he said before this unbelievable night. “Why can’t we do this again?”

He let out a booming laugh, “Get some sleep, my sexy wife, so that I can save this night to memory.”

“But…” He cut me off and started to sing to me. It was the new song, the one I still haven’t heard in its entirety. “When do I get to hear the new song on stage?”

“Never, but tomorrow I will play it for you in our living room, but only if you go to sleep.” He kissed my forehead.

Before drifting off to dreamland, I murmured, “But I’m not tired.”

I heard him laugh softly as my eyelids deceived me and I fell asleep.

Chapter 15

As expected, Bradley kept his word. He hadn’t bitten me since that amazing night. I however have bitten him many times. Pleasing him that way, I didn’t think our love could get any stronger for each other, but yet again, I was wrong.

Tonight we are having a get together as promised with Dave and the rest of our clan. There was going to be nine of us, five vampires, two shifters, a wolf dog, and one mere human. Even though only three of us would be eating, I used my magic to prepare a feast for six. Not sure what to make for them, I made a turkey, ham, and a roast. I also made all the fixings that went with all the main courses. Using my magic, I requested my mother’s mashed potatoes. They weren’t hers but close enough. The only thing that was missing was her love.

I grabbed hold of the gems that my parents left to protect me. Every day I thought about and missed them, and appreciated that even after their deaths they were protecting me. Since my encounter with Andrew, I never take the necklace off. There were only a few times when I didn’t wear them, each of those times Andrew and Anthony were able to get to me. I’ve since added another gem to help with blocking my thoughts from people like Bill. If he touches me, he will feel, see and hear nothing as long as I wear it. I also made one for Bradley and Seager. I’m not sure if it’s going to work but there’s only one way to find out so I went out onto the porch where Seager and Bradley were. They were cleaning up, preparing for our guests.

“Hey guys, I have something for you.”

I removed Seager’s collar and added the gem to it. After casting the spell I put his collar back on. “Now don’t lose the gem. I’m hoping it’ll protect your thoughts from people like Bill.”

“Thanks Nat.”
He took off disappearing into the woods. Sometimes I wonder if he has himself a girl out there somewhere.

Turning to Bradley, I said, “This one is for you.” I put it over his head and under his shirt. “I’m hoping it will block your thoughts and feelings from Bill. I’m not sure if it will work though.”

“I guess there’s only one way to find out. I’ll shake his hand and we’ll see.” He hooked his finger around the leather strap that held my gems. Slowly he pulled them from under my shirt. He looked as though he was trying to get a peek of where they rested. “I’m glad to see that you have a new addition to your necklace as well. Please tell me how it is that I can never tell you’re wearing them.”

“I made the strap nice and long. The gems are placed into my bra, under my cleavage, as close to my heart as possible. Also, I want to hide them from everyone else. You know, to avoid their questions.” I shrugged my shoulders and started to walk away before he grabbed my arm and pulled me back.

“Am I allowed to ask about them?”

“Of course, don’t be silly.”

When I didn’t say anything else he added, “Why do you wear them? Where did they come from?”

“They were given to me on my twenty-fifth birthday. Their purpose is to protect me.” He held them in his hands, examining them. His look confused me, he looked a little jealous.

“May I ask who gave them to you?”A giggle slipped out, he was jealous.

“My parents. It was their last gift to me.” A streak of guilt passed through his eyes. “You thought Matt or James gave them to me, didn’t you?”

He rolled his eyes. “Yes.” He squinted and took a closer look. “Do you think they work,” he asked with skepticism in his eyes.

“Yes I do. The days I didn’t have the charms on I was attacked by vampires like Jessica, one of Bradley’s ex-girlfriends, and Anthony, and Andrew. The only time I don’t wear them now is when I know I’m going to be by your side for the entire day.”

“But you’re wearing them today? Are you expecting to be away from me today?” He teased.

“Yes, I’m sure you’re going to want to take a run with the guys later after dinner. Since I don’t know who Bill is bringing I thought it best.” Actually I did have a small vision of tonight but I didn’t want to upset him.

“Too late.” He took my chin and looked deep into my eyes. I stumbled trying to hide some of the vision but it was too late, he saw something he didn’t like. I closed my eyes. A growl slipped out from between his teeth. “Natalia, please let me see the rest.”

“No, tell me what you saw, please.”

“Bill brought a date, a red-head, I know her. Please tell me what else you saw.” Before I got the chance the chimes rang followed by our guests.

“Let’s just make sure the charms protect us. I’m putting my shield up just in case. I love you regardless of what she says to me.” I put my shield up. He growled again. “Stop that. Save it for the bedroom,” I giggled.

“It’s not funny, Natalia.” He was uncomfortable with the current situation of having me meet the redhead. If my vision of his past was correct, and they usually are, she is his ex-girlfriend. I could see the worry and fear in his eyes.

I spun him around blocking his face from our guests. Stroking his face with my fingers I soothed, “Please don’t worry, my love. My vision was short. Bill really doesn’t know her, he just met her, and so he’s not bringing her to hurt us.”

“But I know her. We need to talk before we do this. Please, Natalia.” He pulled me towards the house.

“That would be rude.” I turned to our guests who were now walking up onto the porch. “Thanks for coming. Jess and Coll, I hope you’re hungry. I made plenty of food. Everybody else, I hope you’re not.” I giggled. Cheryl, Dave, and Bill cracked up but not Bradley or the red head. The red head stared at him defiantly. Everyone, except Cheryl and Bill, watched her and Bradley closely. Obviously they knew her as well. This should be an interesting evening.

After hugging Colleen and Cheryl, Bill came over to introduce his date. Bradley took hold of me and introduced us, “Natalia, this is Margaret.” He reached out to shake Bill’s hand. Bill seemed appreciative of his gesture. I knew the gems worked when Bill’s face went blank.

“I’m glad to see you could make it.” Bradley leaned and spoke very softly into his ear.

“Now, now, Brad. Why whisper? There’s no need to be so rude.” Margaret said as she wrapped her arm around Bill. So far, my vision hadn’t prepared me for any of this.

Laughing, I clapped my hands, saying, “Okay. Well it’s nice to meet you, Margaret. Jess and Coll, you hungry? Dinner is up.” Colleen wrapped her arm around my shoulder as we went into the house. While we ate, the vamps sat in the living room. Bradley went back and forth keeping an eye on her and me.

After dinner we all went out back to enjoy the beautiful weather. But not Bradley, he had been too stressed about Margaret being here. I knew in time I would find out, until then I wanted him to have a little fun. I kept throwing things at him but it wasn’t working. So I ran up behind him and jumped onto his back. Giggling, I discreetly bit him then jumped off and ran. I knew he’d have to follow this time. I spun around he was right behind me sporting his devilish grin. I shrilled and spun back around but tripped over my own feet. Before I hit the ground, he grabbed me and threw himself onto the ground with me landing on top. Laughing, he spun us around, placing me on the bottom. We started to wrestle. I bit him several times, giggling. I love my new power. His eyes turned wild with love from every bite. Unable to contain himself anymore he picked me up and ran for the trees. Once out of sight he did something totally out of the norm. He unbuttoned the first few buttons on my shirt as he gazed wildly into my eyes.

“Thank you, my love. I’m having a great time. Now I’d like to return the favor. Please protect your body from my venom and remember to be quiet. Shhhh.” A sexy crooked smile grew on his face taking my breath away.

With my back pressed against a tree, legs wrapped around his waist he leaned down and bit my breast. Remembering what he said I didn’t scream. Instead I scratched and clawed at his shirt, ripping it. I felt his breath on my breast as he chuckled from my reaction. Once he was sure I had finished, he released me. Buttoning up my blouse, he placed me back on my feet. Dazzled and out of breath, I just stood there. Still laughing from my reaction he led me out of the trees. Our guests were right where we left them. Margaret and Bill watched as we approached.

“I’m going to have to run in and change into a different shirt. Will you be okay?” Still dazzled, I nodded my head yes. He lifted one eyebrow quizzically and smiled. “I guess I didn’t think how it would affect you, pleasing you like that out of the blue.”

“I-I li-liked it.” I stuttered.

“I love it when you blush. I’m taking you with me.” He threw me over his shoulder and flitted to the house. As we flew by our guests he said, “We’ll be right back.”

He tossed me onto the bed and grabbed a new shirt. But before putting it on he jumped on top of me. “Are you okay?” He teased.

Smiling, I leaned in shyly and kissed him. I slowly moved my lips to his chin and down his throat, whispering that I loved him. That’s when I bit him, hard. In seconds, he had our pants torn off and his shaft inside me. After a few orgasms he put a stop to the fun. Actually he didn’t, Colleen did.

“Helloooo, are you guys coming back out?”

Laughing and shushing each other Bradley said, “We’ll be right out. Natalia fell earlier and ripped her shirt.” I tried to shove him but he didn’t budge, his chest heaved up a few times from the silent laughter.
“You know they’ll believe that story more than the real one.”
He had me there.

I stood there staring at my shredded jeans, “I really liked those jeans. Hey! You owe me a new pair of jeans, buddy!” I giggled and put on another pair of jeans and shirt.

We walked out holding hands. Bradley was smiling. He looked amazing when he smiled liked that. You could tell he was happy. I couldn’t help but stare up at him.

Suddenly he stopped. His smile grew.

I am the luckiest woman in the world.

“Watch where you’re walking, love,” he said as his smoldering eyes met mine.

“I’m trying.” My cheeks were getting a little sore from all the smiling.

“We have company. We’re being rude.” He kissed me passionately then let go. “Come on. Let’s go for a walk with our friends.” Pulling me along with him, he reminded, “Pay attention to where you’re walking.”

I did as he requested. As long as we’re together, I’m good.

When we reached our friends, Bradley apologized for our rudeness. I started to walk towards Colleen while Bradley wanted to go to Dave, in the opposite direction. He smiled then, looked down at our hands, squeezed tighter, and nodded his head towards Dave, gesturing for me to come with him. Without hesitation I followed. He put his arm over my shoulder as we went to talk to Dave and the guys.

We heard Colleen clear her throat. “Nat, why don’t you come sit with us?”

“Colleen, I’d rather she be with me if you don’t mind.” Bradley politely responded without taking his eyes from mine.

“Yes, I do mind. You two can be alone with each other later, after we leave.” She looked at us both, “Oh my god. You two make me sick.” She pulled our hands apart. “Let’s go, Nat.”

She began yanking me away from my Bradley, “Wait! Let go for a minute,” I said between my laughter.

I ran back to Bradley wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. “Have fun, I’ll see you soon.”

Confused Bradley asked, “Where are you going?”

Annoyed Colleen interrupted Bradley. “You’re going with the guys Brad and Nat is staying here with us women. Now go!”

I watched as his facial expression went from happiness to extreme stress. He looked at Margaret, who smirked, then back to Colleen. “I can’t, Colleen, she’s coming with me or I’m staying here.”

“Bradley, go and have fun. Colleen and Cheryl will be here.” I pressed my hand on his gem. He reached out and pressed on my upper bosom to feel for the strap that held my gems.

A short kiss before he turned to Colleen with pained eyes.

“Brad, I promise she’ll be okay.” Sometimes it looked as though Colleen’s eye color turned black while the shape changed to that of a grizzly, rounder. Less than a second later you were looking into her blue eyes.

“Natalia, if you need me you know what to do. I love you.”

“Have fun. I love you, too.”

He took off running and caught up with the guys while we went back on the front porch.

Colleen was bursting with excitement when I brought out a tray of tea, coffee and chips.

“Jess and I are going to start a family. We’re hoping to be pregnant by the end of the year,” she said dancing in her seat.

I jumped back up and hugged her, “Congratulations! How exciting!”

“Oh great, just what we need. Another cub running around.” Margaret glared and sneered at Colleen.

Ignoring her Cheryl chimed in, “So is that where Jess picked up that grin he’s been wearing all day?”

“Yes, we started this morning. And yes he’s been smiling ever since.” She should talk, beaming ear to ear.

“Do you know who I am, Natalia?” My bewildered expression made her roll her eyes as if she was talking to someone who was well, stupid. She rephrased her question, “Did Brad tell you about me?”

“Unless you’re family or a friend then no, he hasn’t.” I heard Colleen laugh quietly. Although I knew I decided to play along, my goal was to find out why she’s really here. My intuition telling me she had an ulterior motive.
